The food was excellent, the price-quality ratio was excellent. Good service, I wanted a customization for my sandwich, but it was no problem. We'll definitely be back now that we've discovered it.

A super cool restaurant. Delicious food!

I was there for the pub quiz, which is a really fun evening. We shared a platter of picanha, ribeye, and steak, and found the meat all tasted a bit the same, which shouldn't be the case. When we got our food, it wasn't warm anymore, which makes beef tough to chew. It was busy, but there was often a waitress/waiter around to take orders. The atmosphere was great; I think a lot of locals go there, which certainly enhances the atmosphere. The quiz was fun; I have to say, always varied and nicely presented. The chairs are comfortable for such a long sit. Their terrace is also large and well-appointed. And the restrooms are clean despite the crowds. So, I'll keep going on days like this.

Not a good place if you're looking for a final drink after a fun night out. The website clearly states they're open until 1:00 AM "every day." We were politely turned away when we tried to get a drink at 12:15 AM to round off a great date night. If we'd just arrived 10 minutes before 1:00 AM, I could understand, but they were still open for a full 45 minutes while people were still enjoying their drinks inside! Unbelievable! The young people simply didn't feel like working and preferred to sit outside enjoying a drink together. They even lied to me, saying the 1:00 AM rule only applies on weekends... Either the website (and Google) needs to be updated, OR the staff needs to be updated!

A highly recommended restaurant with friendly service, a stylish interior, and delicious food. The only minor downside for us: the quality of the fries doesn't match the quality of the food. We've had much better fries in the Netherlands.

Lovely spontaneous drop in after shopping with my friend. We stayed for a cup of coffee and had a nice spot outside in the sun (note: I don't smoke myself, but it is allowed on the terrace itself). Service was nice All in all we had a great time! Diff. Will come back again for lunch one day soon 😉

It's quite cozy, but the music was quite loud. Fortunately, when we raised the issue, they turned it down to a more acceptable level. We had a nice meal and the staff were friendly.

Just had a drink in a crowded place. After the Hoofddorp short track.

Went to Bar II the other night with a friend. It’s a newer place, so I thought I’d show her. We walk in, and right away some kid tells us: “Uhhh yeah, not sure if you guys really have enough time to be here…” So I ask: “Okay… what time do you close then?” “In an hour.” An hour?! I said, “Don’t you think that’s enough time for at least one beer?” Anyway, the service stayed bad. It took forever for someone to even come take our order. And when we wanted to leave and asked for the bill, another little prince said: “Yes! Sure! I’ll be right back!” …She never came back. So I went inside, found her, and paid. I asked: “Weren’t you going to come back?” She said: “Oh yeah, sorry, I had other stuff to do and forgot.” Great. So we left and went to Polderboom. And thank god we did. Even though there were only about 40 minutes left before closing, the vibe was completely different. The young waiter welcomed us right away — even recognized me — asked what we wanted, and brought it out before we even sat down. Same young crowd, but a totally different feeling. Warm, friendly, quick. It’s not the age, it’s the training. No wonder it’s always full there. Bar II has a nice idea, but they need to teach their team how to actually run a bar. If they fail, it’ll be because of the way it’s managed. Trust me

I recommend this place for those who want to spend a pleasant evening! The environment is comfortable and the staff is very kind and helpful. The food is very good, there is a lot of choice between salads, burgers or grilled meat. Great place for those who want a quiet place about 20 minutes from Amsterdam. The only reminder to keep in mind is that in Holland the kitchen generally closes at 10 pm. Both inside and outside seats with heat lamps are available. If there is the possibility we will definitely return in the future.

The ambiance is great, and the food and drinks are good. The music also adds to the overall vibe. However, after visiting three times now, I’ve noticed a recurring issue with the service particularly with some of the younger waitresses, who tend to come across with a bit of attitude. Each time, the service has been underwhelming. I’m not sure if it’s a racial thing or something, as I’ve seen other people of colour there who seemed comfortable. So I’m not sure if it was a personal thing towards us, the lack of friendliness and attentiveness stood out to us. For example, a few days ago I stopped by just for a few drinks with a friend, and after finishing our first round, it took about 40 minutes before anyone came back to take another order and that was only after we got up to leave. The staff checked on all the surrounding tables except ours, even though the place wasn’t busy at all. Overall, while the setting and food are great, the service particularly the attitude and attentiveness of some staff could really use improvement.

Quite strange, we had made a reservation and were told that we had to leave before a certain time because of a party. If it takes a really long time for your food to be served, you have to hurry. Why accept reservations if you know there is a party. Tables were removed and moved while we were still eating. You don't sit comfortably anymore. Normally we like to come here but this was quite strange.

Delicious lunch. The two of us shared two sandwiches and got extra plates with it. And it was fresh and more than enough. On the back of our waitress' shirt it said she had everything under control and that was certainly the case.

Went last night with 28 colleagues and enjoyed a Shared menu with unlimited drinks. Service was very friendly, plenty to drink and lots of food. A colleague even went home with a doggie bag because there was a lot of meat left. This is definitely recommended for other companies.

Food is good, but you have to find the waitress to order something and also they are very direct, which puts your mood down:( beer is good but don’t order cocktail because there is no alcohol in it. They claim that machines does it automatically but come on, what if the machine runs out alcohol? Nobody checks it and you are just with a soft drink to enjoy the rest of the night. It is just sad.

Terrible service. My husband and I came to this restaurant for my birthday. The waitress was initially in a bad mood. We ordered a set and were warned that my husband is a Muslim and we don’t eat pork. Bottom line, she brought our order which contained mostly pork + forgot that we asked for a mojito without alcohol and brought an alcoholic one. But the most offensive thing is that when we asked to replace everything and bring us what we ordered, she angrily pulled everything up and pretended that it was not she who mixed everything up, but that we were to blame and ordered incorrectly. The menu indicated about 36 euros per board with food. 2 mojitos 14.50 + 2 cappuccinos ordered. As a result, we received a check for more than 120 euros. This restaurant cheats and inflates prices. It’s a pity that we didn’t figure it out right away, I didn’t want to spoil my mood even more on my birthday. In general, the holiday was ruined thanks to this waitress and service. Ate here yesterday with two friends. Parked in the parking garage around the corner. Very handy! Very friendly service and nice atmosphere too. I had a tuna steak with teriyaki and for dessert something that was not on the menu: an orange peach crème brulee. It was all super tasty! But also phenomenal: the spicy edamame beans. I didn't even finish it, asked for a container to take it away and am honestly very sad about it today haha. It was so delicious!!! Now I have to go back again! ❤️

Overall good impression. Food, service and atmosphere were fine! I went to have a lunch with family and pretty much a nice experience. I guess that having dinner here is even more interesting. The indoor interior is particularly different and fun I guess. We for sure gonna try the dinner experience and for now I totally recommend for lunch time.

The food was good, probably better than what you can find in Hoofddorp although nothing exceptional. The real problem is the service. The staff is inexperienced, not attentive to their customers and slow. It took a very long time to get our orders, then our food, and finally the bill.

A bit higher in the price segment, so that was expected. Nice terrace, friendly and quick service. Only food was disappointing, especially for that price. Steak sandwich that wasn't a sandwich but a sandwich with everything piled on top (it looked most like a mountain of red cabbage) way too much sauce, and too much red onion. The added value of the handful of arugula escapes me and the steak itself was quite tough. Carpaccio sandwich was OK, but not more than that. Oh, and what's wrong with plates? Why do I get my lunch on a stupid cutting board with a piece of wax paper underneath? Stop with the nonsense, that craze has already passed.

Quite a nice place, one of the most interesting of its kind in Hoofddorp. Nice service, tasty drinks. I didn't like the burger, but that's a matter of taste.

Delicious fresh tuna steak with super stir-fried vegetables!

Wij hebben bij Bar11 een feest gegeven, en zeer positief ervaren. Qua communicatie over het feest, dik in orde. Duidelijke afspraken en alles is keurig geregeld. Wij kregen voor een groep van 50 mensen een mooi plekje op het terras buiten. Bediening liep constant rond om iedereen van drinken te voorzien. Ook het eetgedeelte was heerlijk en goed verzorgd. Er waren louter positieve reacties van onze gasten, en daar ging het om. Van ons dus een dikke aanrader!

Food was average and overpriced for Hoofddorp. Got ribs that were super dry and salty. Cocktails are pretty but zero alcohol on them. Atmosphere was the worst part, the music is super loud and you are basically having dinner in the middle of a loud party with noisy people around.

Nice restaurant. Simple menu but tasty food. I played a dirty game that I lost: it was half past two when I ordered 2x rustic bread burrata (v) for 14.50 pst. Note: it was lunch time and I clearly ordered with my finger pointing to the menu under the heading 'lunch'. But they calculated the amount on the receipt for burrata salad as 16.50 under the heading 'dinner'. Of course you asked, but then you get an explanation that you can order the entire menu all day long. But.... I had clearly ordered lunch, right?!? When I got my meal I assumed it was what I ordered! This was my first time there so I know a lot about what it should look like! I saw a sandwich, tomato and basil. In the end, let it go, it is also shameful to get into a discussion and go public! Also pay close attention to what they charge because I received a voucher for 3 meals and a coke that I had not ordered!

Atmosphere is a bit the same as the tent next to it, high “we know us” content. Particularly when operating. This makes you feel a little left out as a “non-regular” customer. The carpaccio salad is recommended, but the portbellos as a vegetarian option are not. Too small and too few. Ordered fries fried a little too long. As a result, much of it is inedible. Nice new location with nice atmosphere. Been there for drinks and bites, the food is above average and they always try to elevate it and add their own touch. But it does motivate always work lol, the pimentos peppers were not good at all for my taste puds, maybe if you change a traditional dish so much from the classic specify it in the menu
