Had a delicious meal! 3-course menu via Social Deal. Starter: tasty chicken salad. For the main course: very tender and delicious beef tenderloin and a lovely fish stew. For dessert: ice cream. The starter arrived almost immediately, and we didn't have to wait long for the main course. They came by regularly to ask if everything was to our liking. We will definitely be back! The restaurant is on the first floor; there is no elevator. Beautiful old building.

Under new management? I used to eat here with my little doggy, but today, at the sight of my dog I was shown the door. I wasn't welcome. Well, I was, my dog wasn't. Previous owner was really nice, with nice Ukrainian waitresses. Now it's all male Arab with the same hostile atmosphere. Nothing Argentinian here. No wonder is was deserted on a Friday at 18:30. Hopefully this disgrace of the Wilhelminaplein is out of business soon. Untill then, a small walk to the Kleine Berg will give you plenty of much better food options.

It was very difficult to find. It is hidden between two cafes. The staff is very friendly! The starter and dessert were quite medium but fine for the price. The main course was particularly good!

Our recent visit to this restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. We had to wait a full hour before we received our first starter. We had ordered bruschetta with mozzarella, but were served something completely different. When we pointed this out, we received multiple contradictory excuses: first, they claimed the order had been misunderstood, then it was suddenly sold out, and subsequently, it was said that adding extra mozzarella wouldn't taste good anyway. This did not come across as professional and did not inspire much confidence. We had also ordered wine, but were told that it "had not been delivered today." Additionally, it was indicated that things were difficult because the system was down and it was very busy. Although that can be annoying, it should not come at the expense of service and communication with guests. The service also left much to be desired: a staff member did not speak Dutch and made no effort to communicate in English, and moreover, came across as grumpy. After another long wait, we finally ate our starter and ordered the main course. The steak that was served was raw on the inside, even though we were not even asked beforehand how we wanted it prepared. The accompanying mushroom sauce looked more like a watery soup than a sauce. Additionally, we had to ask for fries ourselves multiple times, even though they were apparently already ready and getting cold. This gave the impression of poor organization and a lack of attention to the guests. As if that wasn't enough, things went wrong when settling the bill as well. Our receipt showed a substantial amount, and upon checking, it turned out that nearly half of another table's order was on our bill. Additionally, we had a gift card that should have been used as payment, but that hadn't been processed either. Ultimately, it took three attempts before the bill finally matched. All in all, a very disappointing experience due to long wait times, poor communication, a lack of organization, and multiple errors in both service and handling. Unfortunately, this is not a restaurant we will return to.

It wasn't the service's fault, a very friendly man. But we won't be going back. For the same price, I can eat better at other restaurants.

The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. We went there for dinner with a Wonderbox voucher. We got a four-course (surprise) dinner: soup, (chicken) salad, steak with fries and salad, and finally, dessert. The portions were generous. The food was truly delicious!

The six of us had a wonderful evening with Maurice as our entertainer and Diaa as our excellent waiter. Good food and a pleasant location.

Forty minutes for the appetizers, forty minutes for dessert. No one even asked if we wanted anything else to drink. The waiters were very nice, but lacked concentration. The food was substandard. This was the first time we had to pay extra for steak sauce and mayonnaise with the fries.

We had a social deal. Unfortunately, the kitchen couldn't handle it all. We waited over an hour and a half before we got our appetizer (tapas). Our reservation was for 5:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, there was still no food available. We arrived at 5:20 PM. The wait for the first course was simply too long. The atmosphere isn't great. You can hear the speakers from the neighbors below. The steak was delicious and the staff friendly, but unfortunately, it was a negative experience due to the long wait. Such a shame!

We ate here on Christmas Day. The staff were very friendly. They had two serving staff members who were sick, which made the whole thing a bit more expensive, but the staff worked incredibly hard. The food was really good. The main courses, in particular, were genuinely delicious. The appetizers and desserts were fine, though not necessarily exceptional. It's a nice, cozy restaurant. Not too big. There are no highchairs available. We left feeling very satisfied! Highly recommended!

We purchased a 3-course menu twice (4 tapas dishes, main course, and dessert). We indicated that we had a maximum of 2 hours due to a concert. After 50 minutes, we received a basic tomato soup (no tapas). 20 minutes later, a salad (4 pieces of chicken in a watery satay sauce with lettuce underneath and a sour dressing). After waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes—multiple times and getting up to leave—the main course finally arrived. The manager/owner packed it up for us to take with us. No dessert. My husband spoke to the manager for the fourth time. She indicated that we could get a refund via the website where we had ordered the vouchers and that everything was fine. A waitress approached me saying that we still needed to pay for our two drinks. I told her she had to discuss this with her colleague, as my husband had been told that everything was fine and we had left. As we walked towards the car, she came screaming after us that the drinks still had to be paid for. She called us antisocial, and the whole neighborhood could hear it. Half an hour later, I got a stomach ache from the food and had to miss part of the concert. From the site where the vouchers were ordered, we have received one voucher back from them at the moment, because feedback from the restaurant itself is difficult there as well. We are waiting.

We ate here yesterday with four adults and three children. We had a wonderful meal, and the owner was so sweet. He was so kind with our children. We'll definitely be back.

I made a reservation a month in advance, mentioning that I had a gift certificate: two 4-course chef's menus. I was really looking forward to a fun and delicious experience. We arrived at the venue and were met by English-speaking staff, which we didn't mind. I explained that I had a gift certificate, and the first drinks were ordered. A little later, a staff member told me she couldn't accept the certificate because the manager, who always does, wasn't present. How is it possible to request this in advance and still be unable to redeem it? We packed up and had a delicious dinner at Happy Italy. We had a fantastic evening!

We dined here last Friday. First of all, for the reasonable price of the three-course menu, it's impossible to expect excellent quality food. We took that into account and expected a decent meal without too much frills. However, a few points of concern. The starter was a selection of tapas to share. "Homemade" meatballs in tomato sauce were served. All the balls were exactly the same size, in the same smooth shape (all identical), with a frikandel-like (ground) texture. So, needless to say, they're not homemade. There were often long waits for drinks. We had to repeatedly remind the host about the drinks that had been ordered but not brought. The main course was steak. Ordered medium rare, it was served well done with vegetables fried in ketjap sauce under the steak. An unusual combination, and the sweetness doesn't complement steak, especially if you order a meat sauce with it. The pepper sauce was inedible. Thick lumps of thickener and possibly already curdled. The mushroom sauce never arrived (despite repeated requests), and the chimmichurri was mostly oil with some freeze-dried herbs. The food was incredibly salty throughout. A nice sweet dessert was something we were looking forward to. Our choice wasn't asked; we were simply served something. A generous dollop of whipped cream, with strained yogurt and canned cherries underneath. Whipped cream and sour strained yogurt are a very unappetizing combination, I can tell you. So, despite the reasonable price, you pay extra for the sauces, so make sure they're good. Make sure the drinks are served properly, and there's no need to rename something homemade, which clearly isn't the case. The host was incredibly friendly and cheerful. He really makes it a party, which is nice! Now just tweak the dishes a bit more, and the experience will be so much better!

My girlfriend and I came here for dinner on July 19th. We had a three-course meal. The appetizer was tapas, then we had an Argentinian steak, and dessert was an ice cream sundae. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Our request to receive desert quickly after the main course because of the football match was granted without any problems. All in all a nice cozy place with delicious meat and good service!

During a city trip to Eindhoven, we went for a 4-course menu with a social deal. The entrance is a bit hidden and runs past a café, but once inside it was a very pleasant atmosphere. During each course we received an extensive explanation about the food with any details if we had any questions. The food itself was beautifully presented and delicious!

The manager was disrespectful. He screamed in our faces. We had chosen a 3-course menu. The starter clearly came from the freezer, the rice was inedible. The steak was tender but not hot. We asked the manager what the dessert was, he couldn't tell us. We asked if we could have coffee instead of dessert, but this was not possible and we were forced to eat dessert. All in all a very unpleasant experience, will never come back here again.

We had dinner there last weekend, all in all we were disappointed. My Argentinian tomato soup looked suspiciously like soup from a can or packet... the warm garlic cream sauce on my steak tasted only of butter and flour. My wife's main course was served cold. My wife's dessert was an indefinable white substance with strawberry sauce. All in all a one-off visit. Staff was friendly and the place looked neat.

Food is mediocre, service was nice and funny. Due to fumes from the kitchen, our clothes/coats smelled like baking odors.

A bad first experience. Although it seemed to be off to a good start. However, when taking the order, which was in English, the service was unfamiliar with the menu. This raised questions that were later partially answered by someone else. It is precisely here that the entire order went wrong for which we, as guests, were then held responsible. What followed was a very nasty discussion and recriminations from the staff. And wrong dishes at wrong times. What we gradually obtained was generally good, but the kitchen was not to blame. The hostile atmosphere made this an experience I will not return for. Very nice that the chef came to our table later to apologize. The very person who should have done that did not make eye contact and continued to act haughty. Don't recommend anyone to go here. Making mistakes is possible, especially in the catering industry. The way you solve this is everything and there is still a lot to learn from this.

A delicious Argentinian steakhouse, delicious food! Tender tenderloin, soft as butter, melts in your tongue! Incredibly delicious! The beef carpaccio was also delicious! Patatas bravas also very tasty! Mushroom cream sauce and fried mushrooms are delicious served on an iron hot dish! Straight from the fire to the table! Aioli also very tasty with baguette! Espresso for dessert is delicious! I give a 10 for the speed with which I was served, everything with a smile and professional service and asking the waiter several times if everything is to your liking! A 10 for the food and a 10 for the relaxed, pleasant atmosphere! The owner also took the time and effort to come to my table and have a chat with me! I will definitely come back here!! Not countless dishes on the menu, but nice and clear! Great business!!

Vreselijke man in de bediening! Het eten is opzich prima maar de service is waardeloos. Verkeerde dingen serveren (na 2 uur wachten!) en dan zeggen dat we onderling maar moeten ruilen. Dat kan echt niet!

ended up here through a deal. 4 course menu. the male service came across as very gaotic. asked how we would like the main course raw or midium. passed with the sauces. Once the second course had arrived, the main course was placed on the table. Didn't say midium or raw first, they put it away and we had to see who had what and exchange sauces. In the end everyone had the same meat and was half angrily told that this is how meat should be. then half burnt creme brule. Then I asked for the bill and it was 24.95 pp and 13 euros more was added without the drinks. it was said no, it is no different. We left with mixed feelings. food was delicious but the service mmm could be better. I come from the profession myself, so it stands out even more.

Something different, had dinner here without a reservation, Ordered tapas in advance with shrimps, 4 shrimps and more oil and onions, shrimp croquettes 4 pieces, bread and some spreads, then ordered the main course, the chef's specialty, namely the softest piece of meat black angus and tournedos, plank of meat that you cannot bite through Paid €153 and after departure we went to McDonald's to get a few burgers. Not worth repeating, sorry

We hebben ondertussen dan ook de hele kaart wel gehad en alles is zo lekker vers en het vlees is van goede kwalliteit.de bediening is ook vriendelijk en komen ook gezellig een praatje maken. Dan wil ik toch even reageren op de vorige recentie van 'paul s'. Ik was die avond ook daar en heb live meegemaakt wat er gebeurde. Jullie waren onterrecht aan het klagen.dan erbij kwam het personeel snel naar jullie toe voor een oplossing maar jullie wilde maar 1 ding niet betalen.ik vind het heel schofterig en onterrecht dat jullie op deze manier dit restaurant in het slechte dag licht willen zetten.

Very tasty food with friendly service

Hedenavond gereserveerd voor 2. Middels de Wonderbox het verrassingsmenu van bijna € 80 online betaald. Bij binnenkomst was de bediende al geïrriteerd over het feit dat wij plaats wilden nemen bij het raam, zeggende dat deze tafel voor 3 personen was gereserveerd. Wij dienden aan een tafel voor twee plaats te nemen. De bediende scande vervolgens onze reserveringscode en begon zijn betoog over het verrassingsmenu bestaande uit maar liefst 4 gangen! Na enige tijd kwam een klein kommetje mosterd soepje, die vrij basic smaakte (Knorr of Unox). Hierna volgde een schaaltje rucola met dressing drie schijfjes tomaat en drie kleine kerriekoks (kleine smakeloze loempiaatjes). De volgende nog grotere verrassing volgens de bediende, zou volgen. Een plankje met daarop een in stukken gesneden kipfileetje ( ook weinig smaak), twee spiesjes met ieder drie kleine stukjes vlees en tot slot twee Argentijnse “steaks” ter grootte en dikte van een hamburger bij de Mac Donalds. Een schaaltje diepvries friet en een schaaltje peper saus en champignonsaus zonder champignons. En als klap op de vuurpijl het dessert, “crème brûlée oftewel een bakje stijfsel met een laagje suiker. Ons werd natuurlijk gevraagd of alles naar wens was. Hierop geantwoord dat we de steak gemist hadden en wat er voor door moest gaan was nog niet toereikend voor een kindermenu. Men zou het doorgeven. De bediende die zich uitgaf als uitbater zei terug te komen. Na 15 minuten opgestaan en aanstalten gemaakt richting de uitbater gelopen. Deze had inmiddels de kassa aangeslagen, 2 wijntje en 1 bitter lemon te betalen € 21,75 !!! Hem aangegeven dat er een tegemoetkoming verwacht werd en dat er niet akkoord gegaan werd met de rekening. De uitbater drong er toch op aan te betalen. Hem aangegeven daar niet in mee te gaan en dat er nog steeds verwacht werd dat men ons tegemoet zou komen. Nogmaals aangegeven over ons ongenoegen in gesprek te willen gaan. De uitbater liep tierend richting de open keuken. Hem gevolgd waarbij gehoord werd dat de uitbater de kok ter ondersteuning vroeg hem bij te staan. Nogmaals te kennen gegeven over ons geschil in gesprek te willen gaan. De uitbater benadrukte dat er betaald diende te worden en dat men morgen de hele dag de tijd had om terug te komen. Hier niet in meegegaan. Vervolgens opende de uitbater de deur en maande ons ons te vertrekken met de boodschap dat hij wel zou betalen en hij ons nimmer meer terug wilde zien. Hem duidelijk gemaakt dat hij zich daar niet druk over diende te maken, want een volgende bezoek zal ook onder geen enkele voorwaarde nog volgen. Goedenavond!

We went to dinner tonight. We thought we would try something new and go to a restaurant we had not been to before. We entered and indicated that we had made a reservation, but this was not in the host's agenda. We then ordered our drinks and had to tell them our name again to see if we had really made a reservation. The host gives us the menu and tells us that the tapas dishes are an ideal choice for sharing. Then we choose the prawns, patatas bravas and bread with aioli. The bread with the aioli was tasty, not much could go wrong with this either. We were then served the 2 tapas starters. We were told that we had to pay attention because the black containers it was in were piping hot. My friend and I touched it to see how hot it would be. However, the containers were lukewarm and so was the food itself. The patatas bravas were lukewarm but fine and the prawns had no taste at all, just some oil with a little onion. We thought it could happen, hope the main course is better. But unfortunately we got our main course; surf & turf and the maxima tournedos “chef's specialties”. And we both took a bite and it was cold, the meat was tough and there was not a surprising amount of flavor to it. The prawns were the same as the starter. The delicious sauce that came with it in which I could best dip my sandwich from the surf & turf “host's words” was not tasty at all, it was watery and there was some oil and pepper in it, very tasteless. The vegetables that came with it were sour and had no bite. The sauce of the Maxima tournedos was also not tasty, it looked like onion soup. We hadn't even eaten half of both dishes. The host was chatting with another table and was taking out the plates while chatting with the other guests. He then asked me if I enjoyed it. I indicated that I didn't like it. He started with the story that he “has been a chef for 25 years and has 10,000 guests a year, of which only 20 at most complained that it was not tasty. We are sitting on Wilhelminaplein, the Prince is sitting next to it and we are Maxima. The tournedos sauce is the Argentinian specialty and Maxima thinks this is the tastiest sauce there is. The meat here is cheap in price, because this is not meat that comes from the freezer but it is fresh meat. In other restaurants they put it in the freezer, we don't do this. Hence the price '3 small slices of meat for €30'. We then asked for the bill which was €97.30. Quality of the food does not match the price. As compensation we received a drink on the house... we thought it was poor service. When we walked out of the restaurant via the stairs, we also received an angry look from the chef's kitchen. We do not recommend this restaurant.

We ordered a three-course menu via social deal. The food was good and I had a nice meal. What I found quite a downer is that it is only served with fries. For the mayo and ketchup. You had to pay extra for the sauce with the meat and the salad. And the drinks were very expensive, you still get a hefty bill afterwards. Which means you actually pay the same for a meal without a discount

Yesterday I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife and mother-in-law. My wife ordered shrimp. The intestinal tracts of the prawns had not been removed by the cook. She removed them herself, but it became such a mess that she quickly changed her mind. When my wife said something about it, she was told that she should actually be happy that they were still there, because it meant that they were not in a chemical bath had been cleaned. Another employee gave the excuse that the animals she had ordered were wild animals (!). For €26.50 I expect a dish cleaned by the chef. I had the plate with 3 different types of meat. Beef tenderloin, sirloin steak, and a rib-eye. Now I am a real meat lover and have been able to eat a lot of meat. According to the service, this plate, for €35.50, was the best a meat restaurant has to offer, and was tough with both the tenderloin, the sirloin steak and the rib-eye. The many sauces had to flavor the tasteless meat. The only bright spot was that my mother-in-law liked it and completely finished her surf and turf dish. Price-quality ratio severely below par. Once but never again!

Gisteren hier voor het eerst het 4 gangenmenu via Social Deal geprobeerd. Was erg lekker en verrassend. Voorgerecht was Tom Kha Khai soep. Daarna een salade met verse groenten en afgewerkt met stukjes kip. Het hoofdgerecht was een Argentijnse Steak met frietjes en je had de keuze uit een aantal sauzen voor erbij. Het nagerecht was een combinatie van een laagje chocolade, Yoghurt met appel, speculaas en afgewerkt met slagroom. Na het eten nog een lekkere cappuccino gehad met een bonbon, kerstkransje, advocaat met slagroom. Allemaal heel goed verzorgd en heel erg lekker. Personeel was uiterst vriendelijk! We komen hier zeker nog een keertje terug. Echt een aanrader.

5 gangendiner super lekker en vriendelijke bediening

Lekker gegeten bij dit restaurant. Vooraf wat tapas besteld, erg leuk om dingen te kunnen delen met elkaar. Daarna een goed stukje vlees. Je krijgt het op een pannetje zodat het langer warm blijft. Zelf op je bord scheppen. Flink wat friet erbij en prima portie salade.

Ik was hier nog nooit geweest. Het restaurant valt ook niet zo op tussen de bekende cafés. Mijn vriendin had een Social Deal actie dus dit was een leuke introductie. Afgaand op de reviews maken veel mensen hier gebruik van, maar zie ook dat het steeds dezelfde gerechten zijn. De rundsoep vooraf was heerlijk. Onze hoofdgerechten bestonden uit rundvlees en gamba's. De diepvriesfriet tel ik niet mee want die werd lauw geserveerd. Ik snap dat friet een goedkope oplossing is, maar het haalt wel veel van de charme weg. Ik had liever meer toefjes aardappelpuree gehad. De bediening is verder netjes en de eigenaar (denk ik) doet zijn best om een goede gastheer te zijn.

Wat hebben wij ontzettend lekker gegeten. Super vriendelijke ober en gezellig ook. Hij gaf heel goed advies over het eten. Passie voor zijn werk! We komen zeker terug..

Fantastic atmosphere, the 5-course Tapas surprise menu was great! So great and plentiful we took the parts that did not fit in our stomachs home:D recommended place!

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Het eten was lekker. De bediening heel vriendelijke. De prijs van het bier was alleen een onaangename verrassing bij het afrekenen. 7,50 voor een Grimbergen triple is echt te gek. Ook het alcoholvrij witbier was heel duur.
