how this dish served this way can cost 16 euros is beyond me. then guys bext table drop a napkin and waiter picks it up, fold it and place again on the table. wow.

I admit it was very busy; the Dutch national team was playing. Order taken quickly. It took 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Acceptable. The bread and starters arrived at the same time. A bit of a shame. So after 45 minutes we got our food. But we hadn't even finished our starter yet when the waiter came to say he had to clear the table because the main course was coming. No discussion possible. Surely that’s not right???!!. Really not okay. The food is really delicious. Waitress/service very good. Logistics in the kitchen not in order. It is a real shame that you start the main course while still chewing on your starter.

We walked in without a reservation and without knowing anything about the place — we just wanted to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful, making an effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was tasty, but honestly, not a “wow.” The restaurant definitely feels a bit outdated — everything looks quite old, although maybe that’s part of the concept and the atmosphere they are going for. Overall, a pleasant experience, mainly thanks to the friendly staff, but the food and the interior didn’t really impress us.

We went there for dinner, the staff was helpful and fast. They spoke perfect english. The food arrived fast, it was delicious. The prices were not higher than the average. There were a waitress, a young lady who was especially kind and lovely. 10/10 experience. Only suggestion is I would add more light to the outside area, but pro is that it had a secluded vibe from the street.

Normally, the food here is fine, but yesterday was very disappointing. We have never eaten so "boring" before. I ordered chicken. The chicken was very dry, and the only thing we got with it was some arugula. I ordered a zucchini on the side. For 5 euros, I got five slices with that arugula again. Too bad; this is something you just quickly throw in the pan on a Monday night after a busy workday just to get some food down.

We ate here last weekend but will definitely not be coming back. The presentation of the dishes was very amateurish; you get a plate of meat with a dried-out pile of arugula lettuce. Alongside that, a small plate of fries. The loaded fries are anything but loaded; they only have cheese on them. It is very noisy inside and very dark. The service was also uninterested and very disorganized.

A beautifully decorated shop and one of the best places to buy meat in Eindhoven. It feels almost like Buenos Aires. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

Very disappointing. The empanadas were still cold inside. Clearly bought from a wholesaler. The staff on the counter were friendly, but clearly not well-trained. When we ordered our main course, the waiter told us that neither the salmon nor the scallops were available. So, we'd order something else... For our main course, we ordered the sirloin steak. It was perfectly cooked, but lukewarm by the time it arrived. The pepper sauce was clearly from a can (or simply poorly prepared and had almost no flavor). I don't plan on eating here ever again.

The WORST experience ever. Apart from our waiter who was nice. He did apologise for the bad experience but it wasn't anything he could control. The waitress called Robin/Robyn was an absolute RACIST! We were a table of 5 and had made prior reservations. When we entered we were seated at a table and later Robin came to say it was a table for 6 and not 5. We moved very willingly but that table was unoccupied for the 2 hours we were there waiting for our food. We were going for an Orchestra later so time was not on our side. Only 10 minutes before we had to leave was when they started bringing the food. We waited for about 1 hour 40 minutes. Only the drinks were coming. And two tables that were sat after us were served before us. We're 5 African women for context, just meeting up for the quarter. We were so disappointed. Left very hungry and angry. Would not recommend.

We had a delicious meal at Gauchos today. The service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly. Our meat was cooked perfectly, and the desserts were also delicious.

We had a delicious meal all evening and enjoyed the company. The waiter was friendly, and the atmosphere was good. After we paid, the owner came to our table to tell us we were supposedly too drunk and that she had a duty to kick drunk people out of her restaurant. We didn't say a word too much all evening and kept the volume perfectly. Nothing unusual happened, and it's remarkable that the alleged behavior wasn't addressed until after we'd paid and received a generous tip. Stupid place, stupid woman = never coming back.

Faded glory We had dinner here with the company. The young lady who helped us tried her best and still had a lot to learn. The two older ladies seemed very stressed and grumpy. During our appetizer, we were asked if we wanted to order the main course because someone in the kitchen was sick and several large groups were arriving. However, when we left two hours later, there was one large group. Furthermore, the building is in dire need of renovation. The toilet door is stuck, the paint job is poor, technical items were professionally fixed as a temporary solution, and the ambiance of the decor is very outdated. Otherwise, the food was delicious, which was the only positive aspect of the evening.

The staff was friendly but service was slow and we had to constantly be in look out to try and flag down a server. Looks like they were understaffed. Took too long to clear the table of dirty/used plates after courses and also empty bottles and glasses. Food presentation was very poor and the lamb was not the best. Ate here before and it was not as bad as this time around…. It is safe to say that I would not be back.

The restaurant looks very neat and professional. My friend and I ordered a steak with some side dishes. The steak itself was very tasty, but the sauce we got with it was awful! It was just a thick sauce with black pepper powder, and there was raw onion on the steak, which was supposedly grilled. When my friend gave some substantiated feedback, the waitress was quite upset. She couldn't stand it. I definitely don't recommend eating at this place.

They have a wide variety of meat dishes on the menu, all of which are delicious. The space isn't large, but it's cozy. You can also sit on the first floor, but we didn't find that very inviting.

There were only two waitresses working, and you could really tell they were under a lot of stress, but despite that, they helped us very well. Everything arrived on time—the food, the drinks—without any problems. The food was delicious; I especially loved the empanada with chimichurri sauce. The wines were also excellent. Unfortunately, the interior looked a bit dated. The chairs were metal and very heavy, and the armrests were sharp around the edges. The table was also uncomfortable; the metal base left little legroom. Although the dinner and service were excellent, I found the furniture really uncomfortable. I don't know if I'll return. A tip for the owners: what a shame that only two waitresses had to do all the work—you could clearly see how stressed they were.

Ate here this week, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. We received a friendly welcome and were among the first. (5:00 PM) the staff came after 10 minutes to take our order, so that was fine. After we received our drinks, the wait began... We didn't have sandwiches, but we did have an appetizer, carpaccio, and it took almost an hour, which I found quite long and wasn't very happy about. It was also quite unusual: a fairly small plate of carpaccio and a mountain of lettuce, which made me think, "Where is the carpaccio?" And I also found a few pickles 🤷‍♀️, which I've never had on this dish before. I've never seen them add salt themselves. The main course arrived fairly quickly afterward; Beef steak, which was quite tasty and a good medium/rare. A surprise was that you had to order the fries separately, which weren't good. It was €5 for a small portion, but a bowl of cucumber salad was served with the meat. 😬 A strange combination. A second round of drinks was delayed. All in all, it was pricey, and I won't be eating here again.

I’m quite disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I ordered a medium well steak but received an completely dry and overcooked one. When I raised the issue with the manager, she reacted with annoyance and even tried to convince me that the steak was prepared as I had requested. After some back-and-forth, was finally served a perfectly cooked steak, which was indeed very good. However, this entire experience left a bad impression. The manager’s dismissive attitude and lack of accountability make me believe this restaurant’s best days are behind it. Such poor customer service ruins what could have been a pleasant dining experience.

I was always a big fan of Gauchos, but with the arrival of several Argentinian steakhouses I now have more material for comparison. Unfortunately, Gauchos makes mistakes. The food is good, but not impressive. I ordered a ribeye of 400 grams, medium rare, but it was served as rare (I did not mention it at the service so it was not included in my assessment). The meat was quite tender. The most important for me: The meat lacked that explosion of flavor that I taste from competitors. What bothered me was that the fries had to be ordered and paid for separately. We didn't order a starter or dessert, so I have no opinion on that. To finish I wanted to order a flat white, but the waitress did not know this coffee. After a brief explanation I thought I was getting a flat white, but I clearly got a cappuccino. The store has a sleek design, but I felt that it lacked warmth and atmosphere. All in all it was okay, but I'd rather go to the competition from now on.

Na een wedstrijd van PSV een bezoek gebracht aan Gauchos, het restaurant was hierdoor volledig vol. We kregen een tafeltje aan het raam toegewezen. De bediening was attent en nam direct het drinken op en reikte ons de menukaart aan. Best een uitgebreide menukaart. Wel jammer dat bij de vleesgerechten apart nog een bijgerecht bestelt dient te worden. Gegaan voor de entrecote en de friet. De friet is prima. De entrecote was prima en naar wens klaargemaakt. Helaas zat er wel een behoorlijk stuk vet aan het vlees. Het eten is na bestellen ook vrij snel geserveerd. Hiernaast wordt er een best uitgebreide wijnkaart gepresenteerd, maar wordt de wijn vervolgens geserveerd in een vrij simpel glas, dat doet toch wat af aan de beleving. Het restaurant is binnen prima modern ingericht en er wordt sfeer gecreëerd door de kachels die her en der branden. Wel is het erg gehorig, het zat vol, maar door de hoeveelheid aan gepraat kon je de tafelgenoot bijna niet verstaan.

After waiting 50 minutes I thought it was taking a very long time and I asked how long it would take as we were very hungry, we were told that we would be next so after 50 minutes they had not even dealt with us, after about 10 minutes our “selecion gaucho” was suddenly on the table. consist of three pieces of meat. the rib eye was edible, the fillet and entrecote were so tough and tasteless, I ordered medium and it was well done. and to top it all off, the fries were not even cooked through and were still soft. the mayo was okay. I still wonder why I even paid here, it would have been better to walk away after asking how long it would take. be sensible and don't go to this disorganized overhyped chicken coop.

Definitely recommended and worth repeating for me.

Having something to eat with a friend. We were first offered a table on the side or in a corner. Then we go to a corner and another employee comes and says this table is dirty, go and sit at the other table. Okay, fine, more between people. Then we have to order, found little choice in itself but anyway. We ordered, then we get our food, spareribs were overcooked. Steak was supposed to be medium well done but seemed medium rare. You always have to call to order drinks. Plates remained on the table until after we had paid. No next time for me.

Wat een slechte ervaring.. - tafeltje boven bij het enkelglas raam, slechte sfeer boven, beneden zag er beter uit - de jongeman nam bestelling met handen in de broekzakken op. - propte amuse bordje maar even tussen de armen door op tafel - broodmandje werd vergeten - 10 euro voor 2 kleine worstjes op een bord zonder presentatie als voorgerecht - hoofdgerecht duurde 45 minuten na voorgerecht.de een werd half koud geserveerd en de onbeperkt spareribs duurde de ene keer 5 minuten andere keer 15 minuten.. - hoofdgerecht was met saus besteld maar doordat hij al was afgekoeld hier niet meer om gevraagd, wel bij afrekenen aangegeven. - liepen 2 jongemannen rond, die beide kort achter elkaar steeds een bestelling wilde opnemen.. dus wij als antwoord, hebben net besteld… Toen we wilde gaan afrekenen en er gevraagd werd of alles had gesmaakt en ik hierop aangaf dat het wel heeft gesmaakt maar het geen 2e keer waard was liep hij gewoon weg (wisselgeld pakken volgensmij) kwam hierna ook geen reactie meer van terug. Iedereen moet leren maar als je 2 jonge jongens alleen zet zonder begeleiding/ toezicht dan zullen ze ook niks leren… Service is echt een 2.. eten een 7,5 maar sommige (bij)gerechten zijn echt te duur voor wat je krijgt.

We have been coming there for years for the tastiest spareribs. Tender, well seasoned and straight from the charcoal instead of those smoked and cooked soft ribs that you often get elsewhere. What I think is a shame is that (probably a franchise purchasing advantage) instead of the delicious Mc.Cain French fries, they now opt for the standard, much less crispy 'boxes' of fries...

We went here to eat with people in wheelchairs, there is a very large threshold which is impossible for a wheelchair user and you will not receive much help. Wheelchair accessible on the site really doesn't make sense.

Then the time was 20:10 when we finally got our mains. I noticed 2 more tables that came right before and right after us had food a solid 20’ before us. So overall the service was very bad. Waiters were not bad, but the overall service was really poor. Now on the food itself. I ordered the grilled chicken. The meat itself was nice. Nothing special, just a breast grilled and costed 17 euros. Unless there is some sort of proof that it is biological or something then I don’t really see how it is worth that much. The fries were the biggest disappointment of the night. Although I saw them while walking in and was braced for prefrozen fries, I was faced with fries that do not deserve a place on a restaurant table. Shame. Really shame. The atmosphere was not bad, but honestly the food is most important in a GRILL. Overall my experience was bad. I would advice you to choose some other place for dinner. Not worth your time and money.

Ver afgegleden qua service en kwaliteit! Nooit meer terug! Gauchos was voor Corona goed, er is nu weinig meer van over! Na aankomst weinig aandacht voor het opnemen van een bestelling, je merkt dat er geen betrokken personeel meer werkt. Gaucho selecion(cuadril, ribeye, haas): drie stukjes vlees op een bord met een bosje rucola. De vraag was medium maar het vlees was doorbakken. Picanha, twee lapjes op een bord met een bosje rucola. Friet, zoete aardappelfriet en saus is bijbetalen. Bizar dat dit nog kan bestaan: als je naar Sopranos (de buurman) of Rodeo (in Tilburg) gaat klopt het allemaal wel: service is dan wel goed en je krijgt smaakvol vlees zonder bij te betalen voor friet.
