Nice place, has potential but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

It took a while for them to take our order. We also had to wait a while for the food itself. The fact that it was delicious made up for it, though. It's a shame there's no smoking ban on the terrace. And make sure the table is clean, as it still had some food residue on it.

Tonight (Monday, August 11, 2025) I dined here with my young adult son. We made a reservation by phone shortly beforehand. The beautiful covered terrace on the first floor was almost full, a good sign. Downstairs, there was a lounge terrace that looked very relaxed. The background music was a pleasant—but not overpowering—mix of pre-millennial fare, which really suits the atmosphere of this restaurant. The view: phenomenal. We each had a different main course: the spicy Boei35 crispy chicken burger on a potato bun with fresh fries and a duo of sirloin steak with vegetables, red wine sauce, and potato gratin. Dessert: iced cappuccino with syrup and a panna cotta with yuzu (Japanese citrus fruit), mango, passion fruit, and toasted coconut flakes. Everything was of excellent quality. Something went wrong with my main course, which happens. It was resolved very neatly! And that's what matters. We will definitely be back.

After a long, wet bike ride, we arrived in Heusden. We enjoyed a nice cup of coffee and stayed for lunch.

The weather was nice so we sat on the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful view. The new owners started in May. They radiate passion and are very friendly. The drinks and wines were fine. The plates around the Bavette and Sea Bass were beautifully decorated with surprising vegetables, asparagus and leek stalks, delicious! The frozen cappuccino was also beautifully decorated with whipped cream and mint. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back!

What a great place! Where to start? The food, the view, the hospitality of the staff, the coziness... everything deserves five stars. Recently, a new owner took over the business and a young and enthusiastic team is at the helm. We ate here with family and friends and tried different dishes (bavette, sea bass, lemon risotto and some starters). I will definitely come back. Excellent, keep up the good work!

I had a corporate event here and we had a great time with hospitable people, excellent food and great cocktails. Also the view is amazing. I highly recommend this place for corporate events, team building activities and also for outings with family and friends. A shout-out to Patrick and Bryan for the excellent food and service!

Hi. After a long walk here ended with a beer and nachos. Beer was fine and the nachos were reasonable. Missed the spicy jalapeno. However, with the 2nd order of a beer we again got a glass of peanut melange.👍. Service was great, the location also with a view of the harbors. All in all a nice place to end. 👍

Nice atmosphere and very tasty food. I had lunch here on Mother's Day with my mother and brother. Lunch platter and Asian snack platter were perfect. Just like the Gin Tonic's! Enjoyed the whole afternoon! Recommended

Had dinner last night, it was excellent👍. Since May 2nd there is a new owner. You would say all beginnings are difficult, but they are very professional. TOP we definitely recommend the Boei 35. A top location with a beautiful view and not the hustle and bustle of the tourist center. From the center 500 meters and then complete peace on the water.👍

We had lunch here this afternoon. We were here for the first time. We had a delicious meal. We opted for the lunch board where you get a number of small dishes from the lunch menu. Delicious! I wanted sweet white wine but there wasn't any. An alternative was offered that I was allowed to taste first. Good choice and excellent service! Beautiful view over the harbour. It is located slightly outside the old center of Heusden but it is more than worth the walk!

Not even worthy of 1 star. Arrived on the terrace on Sunday September 1 and sat down in a nice spot. 31 degrees 4 o'clock in the afternoon. When the waiter comes I can help you. I say we would like something to drink. He says yes, we are not hiring anyone anymore because we have to prepare for tonight. So serving a drink to a customer was already too much and we were simply sent away. Customer-friendly no. Sad that they don't have a catering heart.

Een heerlijke avond met een lekker 3 gangen verrassingsmenu. Ondanks de negatieve dingen die ze hierover gezegd hadden toch geprobeerd en zeker niet tegen gevallen. Bediening heel vriendelijk en het eten was top. Voor 36,5 eur pp hadden we een volwaardig lekker en vers menu. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, Kabeljau,perfekt zubereitet mit frischem Gemüse, Pommes Frites und einer leckeren holländischen Sauce.

Friendly and very tasty! We still got a place even though all the places were reserved, with the promise that we would only stay for dinner. The service was good and the food was delicious! Glad we were able to stop by!

Schön das wir noch einkehren konnten! Es waren alle Plätze reserviert, jedoch mit der Zusage nur zum Essen zu verbleiben haben wir einen Platz bekommen. Alles lief sehr gut. Die Burger waren sehr lecker zubereitet! Vorallem das Fleisch war sehr geschmackvoll. Auch der Salat war lecker zusammengestellt. Es hat uns gut gefallen!

The food was nothing special for the price. There are much better restaurants a few meters further in Heusden Stadt. And I have "rarely" drunk such bad and tasteless wine...😉

Atmosphere is nice but service is unfortunately not… Terrace was full, we asked if we could sit downstairs and we could. But then coffee was served in paper cups, saying that they cannot serve glass there… Very disappointing… They finely served beer and wine for other customers before us with proper glasses…

I almost don't want other people to know about this gem of a place. We had a beautiful view and the food was delicious. Moreover, the bill was much cheaper than expected. We will definitely come again

This location is not wheelchair friendly. You have to enter via a spiral staircase. The food is good and neatly served. The service is excellent and neat. Highly recommended if you are in Heusden. You look out over a marina.

Friendly service and delicious food. We indicated that we had little time and that was no problem!

The expectations were great, the reality was lousy. The burger was piled high with a dead fried meatball, the salad was carelessly thrown together, the sole was an imposition (raw on the inside). After complaining about this, the fish was fried again, which didn't really make things any better. The sole was cooked more in butter. The chef was then spoken to and replied with a friendly grin, it was probably the first time he had prepared fish. Conclusion, it's better to have a Frikandel on your hand than to waste money here again.

Salade vis,was vooral veel sla. Tonic had een aparte smaak,ober deed er niets mee. Toilet was ronduit vies. Open terras met plastic doeken Bijma helemaal dicht op deze mooie dag. Prijs/kwaliteit vonden wij niet in verhouding.

Leuke locatie, goed verzorgd, professionele jongen in de bediening en (niet onbelangrijk) lekker gegeten. Een zeetong in mijn geval. Ik zou het een ander gerust aanraden.

Leuk plekje. En het eten is prijs kwaliteit zeer goed. Een vriendelijke service door twee vriendelijke meisjes en een heel vriendelijke jonge man, ook al moet hij nog aan zijn Nederlands werken hij komt heel sympathiek over en doet goed zijn best :-) Je merkt dat ze alle drie nog lerende zijn maar geen stress ik ben er zeker van het komt in orde ;-). Wij zijn fan en als we met de boot terug in de buurt zijn komen we zeker en vast terug.

Mooi restaurant aan het water. Door ligging op eerste verdieping mooi uitzicht op de havens. Restaurant heeft gezellig terras met schermen die de wind tegen houden. Heerlijk gegeten met partner en kleinkind. Wij aten een hamburger net pulled pork. Deze was erg lekker. De combinatie van verschillende slasoorten, saus, goed gekruide hamburger en anders gekruid pulled pork zorgde voor verschillende smaaksensaties. Bediening was goed en vriendelijk. Sanitair bevond zich op andere verdieping en was zeer schoon. Wij hebben ter plaatse gegeten. Ik weet niet of afhalen mogelijk is. Wij waren in Heusden. Wij parkeerden onze auto in het dorp. Ik kan dus niks zeggen over parkeergelegenheid bij het restaurant. Eindconclusie: Heusden is een mooi dorpje in het Brabantse land. Als we weer in Heusden zijn gaan we zeker terug naar het restaurant.

Prima gegeten en bediening door Tanja was super ondanks een vol terras en ze alleen was, toptalent! Eten is zeer goed.

Heerlijk gegeten. Er was weinig bedienend personeel en was ons drankje vergeten. Het meisje vertelde dat ze op dat moment de enige in de bediening was een het nogal druk was. We kregen hiervoor een korting op de rekening vanwege het ongemak.

Samen met mijn dochter heerlijk geluncht. We aten een luxe 12 uurtje. Mooie en knusse locatie met uitzicht over de haven. Leuk om in de zomer op het terras te landen na een wandeling over de Heusdense wallen. Vriendelijke bediening. Het eten was lekker en had net wat extra's. We komen zeker terug.

Heerlijk gegeten. Porties zijn ruim voldoende. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Komen graag nog eens terug.

Place is very cosy. The scene is beautiful. İt has also open place.

Top service hebben ze daar. We hadden een afhaalmenu besteld die exact op tijd klaar stond. Waren ze het bijgerecht vergeten in de tas te doen. Ze kwamen ons dit direct brengen (we stonden op de camperplek) en als extra ook nog een lekker dessert erbij gedaan. Het was super lekker.

Geweldige plek en eten was lekker. Sfeer was meteen top!

Ik had er meer van verwacht en in de deur opening zaten wij te eten en toilet moest via buiten 1 verdieping na beneden. Biefstuk was rauw en saté vond ik bij het 3e stokje van nee dat is het niet mij geen 2e keer
