Borgo Antico in Zevenhuizen wijk 02

We ordered via takeaway 3 pizza's ie Margherita, Tartufo and Salmone but got delivered 3x Margherita. These things can happen on a Friday evening, especially at 17:20 pm when it is super busy.. Called the restaurant and they directly said, we will take care it and man they did. Within no time 3 new steaming hot pizza were delivered with a big apology from the friendly courier. A true example how you solve these things, and pizza's are super tasty as well so totally recommend this restaurant.

A lovely restaurant in Zevenhuin. I was introduced to it by friends and have eaten there a few times now. The owner is a friendly guy who regularly stops by the table for a chat. The food is excellent; I've tried both the pasta and the pizza, and everything was pretty good.

It's always great here, truly Italian. If you ask Eduardo what he's having, his sons always make something delicious. Upon entering, the somewhat overly popular owner asked if we had made a reservation and we had not, looked very difficult and gave us a table for 2 next to 2 other people where you sat so close that you could pick the food off their plate, I was happy to ask for another table because I didn't think it was appropriate in a fairly empty place that I could follow their conversations. Got another table and the nice waitress immediately came to the table for drinks, unfortunately only 1 type of beer. Then a small tasty aperitif from the house which was very tasty. I immediately placed the order and within 10 minutes my over-salted and weak pizza carpacio was already there. My wife's truffle pasta was delicious. We were outside again within 40 minutes and unfortunately we had no feeling that we had eaten in a relaxed manner....

Nice cozy place run by nice people. I think a lot of regulars come here, which is understandable considering how good the food is. We enjoyed both the scampi al brandy and the pizze parma and the house wine was also excellent, with tiramisu and cheesecake as a tasty ending.

Delicious food and very good atmosphere

The food was okay, but I have had better food. Starter was quite poor. Main course was okay but not special. Coffee was so strong you could unclog a sink with it. What struck me was the big difference with the reception upon arrival: your coat was accepted (it was neat, but not necessarily mine) and you were welcomed. At the end of the evening we really had to call to ask for the bill because no one had come by our table for a while. When we left, no one looked up or said hello. Staff were too busy chatting with each other. Special. No repeat for us.

Celebrated friends' 20th wedding anniversary tonight and were completely pampered. Outside of the menu, the chef simply put tasty things on the table. We enjoyed it immensely from start to finish. Top place and highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Italian food.

What was once posted by us as "MamaMia" in a review previously written by us, that's how bad it is now. First of all, our table was made up with dirty cutlery in all 4 places. After assessment by the owner, cutlery was replaced with the response that he thought that 2 knives and 1 fork were dirty and that the rest was not too bad. Everyone has their own hygiene, let's just say... We certainly don't have clean cutlery taken away, it's really dirty. They don't have a wine list, but if you order a regular white bottle of wine, it costs 38.50 euros for mediocre wine. Cold snacks for 4 people, no less than 78.00 euros! Management makes mistake after mistake. Can happen just to think positively on a pleasant evening. But then finally, after a very long wait, two main courses are put on the table that we had not ordered. They didn't have fries, but they could serve baked potatoes instead, which was OK as far as we were concerned. Without consultation with us, no baked potatoes were served when serving, but a small bowl of spaghetti for 4 people, again without consultation because the potatoes were also gone. Then the irritation starts to increase considerably for us, but also for our business table guests. The owner dismisses our complaint about the incorrectly served main courses: "My waiter says that's what you ordered." To which he received the answer that he should manage the very young people more and be more involved in the business and the customers from his sitting area. There is little left of what it once was, at least our opinion and our fair assessment of the state of affairs. To conclude, 1 table guest ordered something to drink, then the waiter came back with what he ordered and yes,... with a glass of coke that none of us had ordered. Bill for 4 people 282.50, which includes a bad pizza (limp and poorly distributed ingredients). From the owner who had been hanging around the table of a well-known guest for more than half an hour, without a single sincere apology, no company drink or other compensation. As for us, "Basta" and look elsewhere for our pizza and pasta.

Hoezo heeft dit restaurant ‘maar’ 4 sterren op `TripAdvisor? Het moeten er geeoon 5 zijn. Het eten is echt heerlijk! Het is er altijd gezellig en heel lief personeel. Wij zijn al in heel wat Italiaanse zaken wezen eten maar niets kan Borgo Antico overtreffen. Ik kijk er nu alweer naar uit dat wij over 3 weken weer gaan.

We were looking for an Italian place in the area and were surprised that we had not found this one before. Luckily we made a reservation in advance because it was completely full that evening. We were offered bruschetta as an appetizer and it tasted delicious. The Carpaccio tasted great and the pasta marinara was delicious and a generous portion. I liked the tiramisu a little less because it was very light in taste and texture. We will undoubtedly stop by again to try their pizzas as they looked amazing!

Friendly service, but it takes some getting used to the friendly way of interacting. The dishes are okay, but not enough to warrant a detour.

Yesterday we ate at this great restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of my parents. Upon entering, it is immediately cozy, wonderfully busy and a nice atmosphere. Nice and smooth service. The food was very tasty, we really enjoyed it. We were also spoiled with a delicious bruschetta, a sweet treat and a limoncello. Very attentive and nice. We had a great evening and will be back soon! Really fantastic!

Have eaten at this restaurant several times. But I wonder when you are eligible for a glass of limoncello afterwards. We got a drink the first time we were here after a long time. Now I regularly see tables with nice little glasses...... But in any case it is not offered to us (anymore). We thought it was such a nice and warm gesture at the time.

Delicious food, requested by my parents who like to come and eat with the neighbors! We were surprised by the Italian cuisine and it was delicious! We will definitely come back again soon!

Open again after two months of renovation and everything is still just as tasty. Eduardo is in charge of the kitchen that only produces real, honest and delicious Italian food.

Heerlijk gegeten. Authentieke sfeer.

Als vervent Italië vakantieganger tot twee maal toe wezen eten bij Borgo Antico. Op zich was het wel lekker maar de carpaccio was troosteloos kaal met alleen een beetje olijfolie en een verdwaalt blaadje rucola. De smaak was verder goed.de bistecca is erg lekker. De tweede maal hadden wij als hoofdgerecht de lasagne en de pasta gemaakt in een parmezaanse kaas. De pasta viel erg zwaar maar de lasagne was goed. Als nagerecht de tiramisu die huisgemaakte was en goed qua structuur maar miste smaak. Personeel is vriendelijk Als met al een goed restaurant maar kan zeker beter

Wij gaan al jaren naar dit Italiaanse restaurant. Antipasti is voortreffelijk, pizza zijn lekker en zijn specials zijn altijd voortreffelijk. Sinds enige tijd heeft hij Pasta di Tartuffo, spaghetti met een roomsaus van truffel. Héérlijk, echt een aanrader. Gisteren tournedos gegeten en die was mals en de cognac saus was voortreffelijk. Gewoon een keer doen, je zal niet teleurgesteld worden.

Een stukje Italië (bij de schoonouders) om de hoek in Zevenhuizen. Volle smaken, met ogenschijnlijk weinig, niet meer dan noodzakelijke ingredienten, zoals we van de authentieke Italiaanse keuken gewend zijn. Pizza, pasta, antipasti, de wijnen zelfs de koffie, precies wat je van een echte Italiaan verwacht. Tip: Kies de affogato als dessert!

Authentiek Italiaans restaurant. Met verse ingrediënten. Vond mijn visfilet aan de kleine kant.uitleg dat de prijzen erg hoog zijn. Al met al lekker,maar de vis wordt duur betasld Al met al een super avond gehad. We komen terug!

Top zaak súper fijne mensen, en het eten is werkelijk super

Als je luxe zoekt, moet je hier niet zijn. Maar als je Italiaans wilt eten, dat met liefde is gemaakt, dan kan ik je dit restaurant van harte aanbevelen. Tot nu toe meerdere keren gegeten en alle keren heerlijk! Verhouding prijs/kwaliteit is zeer goed.

Amatrice d’italien, j'ai adoré! Le restaurant est d'époque et atypique. Les pâtes à la truffe et parmesan sont flambées devant vous dans le parmesan lui-même : un vrai régal ! Super lekker eten! Geen luxe stoelen of entourage, maar er wordt met passie gekookt

Lekker gegeten. Eten is goed en bediening is vriendelijk. Totaalplaatje soms.wat nonchalant, maar als dat je niet stoort: prima!

Zaterdag 21 januari 2023 had ik met zoon een heerlijk en gezellig bezoek aan deze Italiaan. Hele prettige en persoonlijke bediening en heerlijk gegeten. Goede kaart had zelf de specialiteit met pasta parmesan en truffel die op originele wijze werd geserveerd. Was in de loop van de avond lekker en gezellig druk. Goede verhouding prijs kwaliteit. Je proeft ahw de gastvrijheid. Gezien de prettige sfeer is hier ook sprake van een GUN effect. We komen spoedig weer. JT

Gezellige redelijke authentiek Italiaans restaurant. De kaart hoef je niet te bekijken, laat je verrassen door de eigenaar.

Wij zijn niet eens naar binnen gegaan, want de bediening had een petje op. Dat stond oorknop eens achterstevoren. Dit was voor ons voldoende reden om rechtsomkeert te maken.
