There is a big difference in the quality of service and food if you eat there and take away. If you eat inside the restaurant you will be served neatly and well by a spontaneous lady and the pizza is generously topped. But if you go for the take away you will first get a cheerful note on the line who I think never feels like doing his job and the topping on the pizza is minimized to half of what you get in the restaurant so you end up eating more pizza base than there is filling on it, and that for a 15 / 18 € per pizza it is not worth its price quality value at all. (this review refers to the take away).

Tried this restaurant for the first time and we will definitely come back. We had a carpaccio and a swordfish as a starter and veal oyster and sea bream as a main. Everything was very good.

The pizza was mediocre and not sliced. Furthermore, the employee who helped us was very grumpy. There was no good service.

Zojuist een Pizza Gorgonzola speciaal gehaald, 3 minuten lopen van huis. Pizza vulling was lauw van binnen en korst te dik.

Previously, the pizzas were delicious, had a good taste and a very good base. Now it is much less tasty, the tomato sauce is not tasty and the base is tough. I don't know what has changed, but it certainly isn't progress

Picked up 2 pizzas and 2 starters. The starters were ok, but the pizzas not good. Soggy, too thick crust and not baked long enough.

Visited for the first time. For the takeaway. Everything looked neat and tidy inside. Takeaway is separate from the restaurant, which ensures peace and quiet in the restaurant. Taste was good, had a set of pizzas, lasagna and spaghetti carbonara. Everyone liked it. Definitely come back

Delicious food but had to wait a very long time for everything. It was very busy. So busy that I never got my drink. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the bill.

Pizza as bad as the mood of the staff. I haven't had such a bad pizza in a long time. We had to use a spoon to remove the pizzas, they were so weak. If the crust is the best part of the pizza then you've done something really wrong. And the crusts weren't even baked properly. You should check. Not yet talking about the way they speak to you. We won't be ordering anything here anymore.

In the past these were really good authentic pizzas. After taking over the business, quality deteriorated significantly. Tried again tonight but this was really the last time! Soggy bottom, soggy filling.

Today I got a pizza salami piccante. So base with salami slices, sambal and cheese......€15,- ka tjinggggggggggg. Done, especially considering that the taste has deteriorated compared to the previous owner.

The food was disappointing compared to previous times, although we ordered some of the same dishes as on another recent occasion. Just not the taste and quality we experienced before. Service etc. was otherwise fine.

It's been a cold evening and I'm looking forward to a good pizza. What a nice place, delicious pizza calzone with extra gorgonzola in it. Worth repeating.

I was addicted to the salmon pizza, it always had shredded salmon on it. This has now been changed to slices of salmon a while ago, and has not been as tasty since. A lot of oil comes out of such a slice and the taste is too dominant. Hopefully it will change again someday!! Everything else is top, incredibly tasty, highly recommended!

Vriendelijke bediening en kennis van zaken. Ik had pasta pomodorini, maar miste wat zout en peper om de smaak omhoog te halen. Geen probleem toen ik er om vroeg. Maar mijn zout/peper kwam rechtstreeks van een andere tafel en ik zag dat ook andere gasten erom vroegen. Misschien standaard zout/peper op tafel?

Heerlijk gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening en fijne sfeer. Niet de fast food pizza maar de echte en lekkerdere versie. We komen zeker terug!

Deskundig personeel 't.a.v. wijn en gerechten. Heerlijke gerechten goed verzorgd en bijzonder smaakvol. Eindelijk weer eens superkwaliteit, gezelligheid en persoonlijke aandacht. Hier kunnen veel " dure " restaurants een voorbeeld aan nemen. Een aanrader, wel reserveren want het aantal plaatsen is beperkt.

Gezellig restaurant met vriendelijk personeel. Snelle service en de serveerster was goed op de hoogte over de tijdelijke gerechten die niet op de kaart stonden. Prijs/kwaliteit was prima.

Kom hier vaak. Beide afhalen en op locatie eten is top. Nog nooit een probleem gehad met een bestelling en altijd op tijd met goede service!

Loved this homely Italian restaurant. They customized the pizza exactly as we wanted on each half of the shared pizza. The crust was amazing. Recommend the restaurant. Suggest booking prior to visit - it is small and we were told popular in the area.

Pizza zalm was heerlijk en daarna tiramisu was ook lekker.

Vanavond voor het eerst bij La Sirena gegeten. Het is een klein, sfeervol restaurant met vlotte bediening. De pizza salami en de lasagne waren lekker, maar de ossenhaas met truffelsaus en bospaddestoelen was favoriet. De prijs/kwaliteitverhouding is prima in orde. Wij komen vast en zeker nog eens terug.. om te eten of om af te halen!

Prima pizza gegeten, update 2023: bijna 1.5 uur gewacht voor mijn pizza kwam.

Op zich een prima avond gehad. Lekkere wijn, gezellig druk, goed zittende stoelen. Maar de messen waren bot, 2 van de 4 pizzabodems waren daardoor niet te snijden. En het toetje was meer spuitbus slagroom dan ijs.

Altijd goed om een smakelijke pizza of pasta op te halen en thuis lekker op te eten

Leuk restaurantje. Service was prima. De gerechten waren alleen niet echt bijzonder. Je miste een stukje echte Italiaanse authentiekheid.

Pizzaria met een lange historie in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel en een goede reputatie. Onlangs van binnen en buiten helemaal opgefrist. Eten is goed als altijd. Heerlijke pizza’s met italiaanse bodems. Zo vinden wij ze het lekkers.

We hebben hier met ons drieën gegeten. De bediening was prima. Het eten was redelijk, maar qua smaak zonder de Italiaanse finesse. Dat is echt jammer, want je verwacht toch wat betere kwaliteit dan als je het zelf thuis klaar maakt. De witte huiswijn was lekker. De muziek stond vrij hard. Qua inrichting miste ik wel wat Italiaanse sfeer. Het water kwam uit een bronwaterfles. Had van mij ook gratis kraanwater mogen zijn. Kortom, niet slecht maar ook geen “omrij restaurant “.

Heerlijk eten en mijn favoriet: lasagne.
