Pleasant evening with colleagues, top the salentino red wine and plank for the dish, then a simple tasty main meal, dessert tiramisu must be better! Price-quality ratio is decent at 59 euros per person. Buona cena!

I didn't think the food was great. Carbonara was more like raw egg soup. Tastes differ. It wasn't my thing. Staff was very nice and it has a trendy decor.

A truly delicious meal at Bottega di Wendy: a very good carpaccio and zuppa pomodori (Italian tomato soup) as a starter, followed by a delicious canelloni with spinach ricotta and bavette. Then the evening ended with a passion fruit cheesecake, very good tiramisu and delicious coffee! We will definitely come back!

What great service, I was surprised with the wine and the food. The explanation was perfect and Bran was very knowledgeable about both food and wines. Wonderful music in the background. So nice to be served so well and pleasantly. This host is great! Wendy also came to talk personally, it was very nice that she showed who knows the wines. I ate delicious food and drank excellent wines.

A lovely place on a beautiful square, with fresh Italian products. Our favorite! Delicious home-baked Italian bread and the best salmon sandwich in the area, thanks to the tasty extras. The cappuccino is also delicious. Highly recommended.

Had a delicious lunch yesterday at Bottega di Wendy. A beautiful, atmospheric spot in the heart of Gemert. We were kindly received on the terrace by Daan who was very well informed about what Bottega di Wendy has to offer. A nice, spacious seat and beautiful weather does the rest. We opted for a luxurious Italian platter for three people with authentic meats and cheeses. The snack board was varied and tasted fantastic! Especially with the matching wines. Bottega di Wendy, all in all, definitely recommended to visit again! Atmosphere, food, service are top notch!

It all took a very long time! Had to wait 20 minutes before we were even asked if we wanted something to drink, then several things that were not available that were on the menu Not worth repeating

What a tent! I say don't go there, we thought we would have a nice drink and ordered a snack board, see photo piccolo de luxe 'at €19.90 it looked delicious but meager for that price, when we asked for extra bread they told us that it was not Italian, while we were eating the snack board we discovered that there were no prawns, we indicated this and (I think) the owner told us that that was also not Italian and that was why we had cheese instead. had done, my request to take something off the bill was not appreciated and I got a whole story about passion thrown at me, she was also very sad about it (me too because I had no prawns) all this on a full terrace, but I'm not going to discuss that with her on a crowded terrace. I have eaten and drunk all over the world, this comes from my more than 30 years of catering experience, so I really know what I am talking about, I have never given a negative review anywhere. And speaking of passion, Mrs. Wendy would have offered a cup of coffee if necessary. And don't put something on the menu if you can't make it happen, and don't come from staff who have just started working there. The staff can't do anything about it, you could have. Delicious!! And Daan's service was very friendly and hospitable. Recommended!!

Rose processo in wine glass was very little for 7 euros. The starter was not what was on the menu. Salmon marinated in beetroot, but no beetroot in sight, was very pricey. Unfortunately, no compensation for this. Main course was very tasty. Desserts were not on a menu, there was no menu?! So we skipped that.

In reponse to the reaction of the owner to my review: We ate there about 1.5 months ago and sat outside. Food and service were very good. Therefore, we returned within a week and sat inside. We were sitting right in front of the kitchen. It was busy. Unlike the last time, the waiter was really busy so the wait was long to get our beers. That's fine. But the problem was that we could see in the kitchen and saw that there were 2 people making dishes, a man and a woman. The man at the food station was constantly rubbing (or scratching) his nose with bare hands, wiping his forehead with bare hands and worse than that, licking his fingers constantly, while prepping food (like actually putting his fingers in his mouth and licking them). The woman was scratching her head constantly. That scene really turned us off. No matter how good and dilicious the food is (and it actually is), this scene is a turn off, even at home, let alone in a restaurant. We are from Toronto originally and have been to 4-5 star restaurants in Canada, US and in NL. And, this restaurant can be good, but please do not do this. It is very unprofessional (or at least cover the kitchen so customers don't see it ;)).

If you have enough time for waiting it is ok. We bought just cocktails. And it was 15 min. between "we want to pay" and payment.

The food was good, but very little or you have to order everything, but for that it is pricey.

Fine for once, but I wouldn't go here again. The food was fine, but the price was too high for fine food. Then I expect really good food. Several dishes from the menu were not available, including main course and dessert, and the desired wine was also gone. Too bad, we don't recommend this to others.

Ended up here on the terrace during the open day of the fire brigade. They didn't have any appetizers, but the drinks board was recommended, so I ordered it. It was delicious, but €20 per person for a snack board really goes too far.

Beautiful place with a great terrace! Had a delicious coffee with beautiful pastries. We have been there before, even had lunch once, delicious! Beautiful trendy place with a great terrace in the middle of Gemert, in the middle of the village on Ridderplein, with a view of the beautiful Gemert castle. And....very friendly staff! So for a beautiful location and good coffee and tasty dishes and more, you should go to "Botega di Wendy" in Gemert. Is: Pure Enjoyment or even better: Puro Godimento!

The staff does not seem friendly, visibly irritated when you give feedback. Dishes small. Price/quality not in proportion. For still water they charge €4.00 per carafe. One-time visit.

We had a very nice evening here last Saturday! Wendy is a good hostess with a lot of ambition. The restaurant is attractively decorated and the Italian dishes were pure and fresh! Drink some delicious wine with it! Gluten free no problem!

Had delicious pasta! Ravioli with salmon is highly recommended! Service is also fine. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. We will definitely come back again.

Ate here for the first time, it was delicious, the dishes were really delicious, started with a bottle of red wine Pasqua Ripasso, then a Carpaccio and a marinated Salmon nice starters, main course Cod Parma and a Venison Steak was delicious, a pity that there was no bowl fries were included, we would like to have some fries in between, dessert cheese board, great, 1 enough for two, will definitely come back and then terrace with an extensive board with delicious wine

Due to a planned lunch with a colleague, we ended up at Bottega di Wendy, located at Ridderplein 45 in Gemert. After being received by the hostess herself, we enjoyed a delicious artisan lunch in a casual atmosphere!! The chosen lunch dishes were perfect in every respect!! The center of Gemert has a culinary delight richer!!

Het moet beter als je wilt dat mensen terugkomen. Bediening.... Mwah... Ik geloof dat de specialiteit 27 euro kost... Is niet het antwoord wat ik wil als ik er naar vraag. Personeel dat staat te drinken achter de bar. Vind ik ook niet staan. Het hoofdgerecht was niet helemaal heet. Kortom veel kleine puntjes die verbetering nodig hebben in mijn optiek...

Super aardige, nette en kundige bediening. We kwamen wat later in de avond aan en werden met open armen ontvangen om nog gezellig te dineren

In september jl. geopend; nu al zo bekend, dat deze fraai ingerichte Bottega, binnen het lunchuur 'volloopt'. Een jong enthousiast en hulpvaardig team met een 'verfijnde' kaart, waarin de eigenares Wendy van smaken weet. Wij smaken het genoegen, van verfijnde gerechten en een goed kennismakingsgesprek. Wij komen er terug, al is er een afstand van plm.40 km tussen Grave, onze woonplaats en Gemert.

Een lekkere lunch gegeten met heerlijk verse ingrediënten. Heel goed bekend met glutenvrij eten en alle tijd om de mogelijkheden te bespreken. Ook de pasta's zijn glutenvrij te krijgen. Het was een fijne middag in een gezellige omgeving. Aanrader!

Wij hebben er zaterdag gegeten met een grote groep collega’s. Het was een zeer geslaagde avond die vooral te danken was aan de geweldige bediening en het super heerlijke eten. Het voor, hoofd en nagerecht allemaal even lekker. Dus een heel groot compliment voor Wendy en het team. Wij komen snel weer terug.

Heerlijke koffie en stuk taart gegeten. Op advies van Wendy was de keuze gevallen op een speciale koffie( weet de naam miet meer) en cheesecake met gekaramelliseerde citroen en eetbare bloemen. Wat een traktatie. Een prachtig ingerichte zaak met een echte horeca dame die tijd heeft voor haar gasten. Chapeau!!!

Lekkere lunch,met zorg geserveerd

Afgelopen weekend hier gegeten. Als voorgerecht carpaccio en burrata gekozen, deze waren beiden heerlijk. Als hoofdgerecht een pasta bolognese en tortelloni. De pasta bolognese was lekker maar erg simpel. De pasta tortelloni die we kregen was echter gewoon ravioli en dat is toch echt iets anders. Verder kregen we aan tafel kaas geraspt op onze pasta, maar dit was heel erg weinig. Als dessert gekozen voor tiramisu, de crème was erg lekker maar helaas zat er bijna geen koffie of koekje in. Kortom, het was geen slechte avond, maar we hadden er meer van verwacht.

Met aandacht voor hun gasten zijn Joost & Wendy, samen met de rest van het personeel, een aanwinst voor Gemert. Heerlijk eten en drinken met een Italiaanse touch.

We zijn gisteren voor de eerste keer gaan eten bij Bottega Di Wendy. De sfeer en gastvrijheid was zeer goed. De bediening is zeer professioneel en het eten is lekker. Zeker een aanrader!

mooie ruimte. dienst goed. Helaas was het eten niet wat ik had verwacht. Ik bestelde bolognese die te gaar was, ook brachten ze geen extra kaas naar mijn tafel. Ik moest de dienende jongen voortdurend lastigvallen. Sorry, maar in alle Italiaanse restaurants brengen ze altijd extra kaas als de klant erom vraagt. dit is mijn mening

Erg gezellig sfeer. Heerlijk gegeten prettige enthousiaste bediening/eigenaresse. Alle bestelde gerechten waren er heerlijk. Komen zeker nog eens terug.

Als onderbreking van een dagje geocache zeker een aanrader. Heel lekker thee en cappuccino EN limocello gebak. Echt HEERLIJK . De knuffel dik verdiend, haha.
