November 10, 2025 A lovely establishment in what could be considered a covered market in the Vlaardingen district. The staff is friendly. The service is fast. The food is delicious. The cheese croquettes are fantastic. If you're from Turkey, no matter where you eat fries in Europe, they'll give you a 100% share of McDonald's, which they say is the best in our country.

Delicious food! Whether you simply want fries and a snack, fries with stew, a wrap, or a vegetarian snack, there's something for everyone. Ready quickly, always freshly made, and therefore always hot. The service is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

I had my first bad experience at this Bram Ladage last week when a somewhat younger, blonde-haired woman with drawn-on eyebrows rushed my order, even though I always like to think twice. She snapped, "You can hurry up, right?" It's not that hard, right? Even a slob can order fries. Personally, I'm not impressed and will never return. Aside from this experience, the service has always been good.

Dear Bram Ladage, I recently visited one of your locations. I'm from Drenthe and had heard many positive things about Bram Ladage, so I was very curious. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations at all. During my visit, I was not addressed politely by a young woman behind the counter. I don't know if she's new, but the way I was helped felt unfriendly and unhelpful. I find that a real shame, because hospitality and service are key components of a good experience. Fortunately, the food itself was good, and I have nothing but praise for that. However, the poor service is what I remember most, and that really detracts from the overall experience. Our order is incomplete again. This time, two fries were forgotten. We initially thought one was missing, but it turned out to be two. This meant we had to eat three times, and the fun of dinner was gone. This is the second time in a short time that something has been forgotten. They asked me over the phone if I wanted it now or another time, but that felt sloppy. For these high prices, you should be more competitive. No more Bram for us.

The fries were fine. I ordered a large Bram with mayo, which I had to wait 20 minutes for. All you have to do is shove fries in a bag and drizzle some mayo on top. There are 10 people behind that counter working incredibly inefficiently. I spent those 20 minutes really taking it all in. Anyway. Luckily the weather was nice.

I love your chicken burger. Even better than KFC's. You do need wasp control, though. The poor employees were constantly being attacked by wasps.

Fries are so expensive they are almost worth gold! Taste is fine, but mayo is a thing of the past (not tasty anymore), ketchup is the new king!

The food here is simply top quality: the fresh fries are crispy and cooked just right, and the snacks are delicious and perfectly warm. You can really taste the passion and attention they put into their dishes. What makes this place extra special, however, is the friendly and helpful staff. They are always ready with a smile, think along with you and make sure you feel welcome. That makes a visit to Bram Ladage Hof van Spaland a party every time. A real recommendation for anyone who is looking for good food and great service!

It is not a place where I would sit and eat. But if you want to have snacks (French fries, kroket, bamischijf, frikandel etc.) for dinner or otherwise - this is certainly a very good option! The Brammetje Parmezaan is a very nice recent addition to their menu!

I always liked the food so much. I don't know why you changed it. This is really a shame. Potatoes are always unpeeled, so they no longer taste as good. Price also makes no sense at all. Staff was always very friendly (and still is)

I have been coming to this Bram Ladage for a number of years and the staff is super friendly and helpful. At the same time, I notice that the prices are irrelevant and neither is the quantity. Just bought a chicken corn sandwich with peanut sauce, photo attached. This cost me €5.65. Almost €6 for a sandwich with a snack, while it is not even of super quality compared to another snack bar. Of course I understand that prices are rising and everything is becoming more expensive, but this really surprised me. I also get a sandwich with a drop of peanut sauce (bwvs) while you pay €1.30 for a little sauce. I used to love coming to this location, especially during my breaks, but with these prices this was the last time for me. Ladies and gentlemen of Bram Ladage SDM, you are top performers yourself, but the price/quality lags behind a bit! Shame!

They were actually already closed, but they still wanted to make something warm for us as ambulance workers, super cool!!!!

Bram always has good fries. Nowadays there are also devices that you can order from.

The products are always good, the staff are very friendly and it is almost always busy, which is a good sign. I recommend it. Whenever I am back in Holland I will go there again.

Bram's fries were always super tasty. Unfortunately, for a few weeks now they have only had fries made from unpeeled potatoes. As a result, the taste has gone from completely great to completely bad. It's a shame they did this.

Nice people, order was 5 minutes late and was offered dessert with apologies.

Here is my honest opinion about this Bram Ladage. It is a top snack bar because I am always helped with a smile and the staff always starts a chat, which makes it very pleasant. I also order here sometimes and the food is nice and hot and fresh and the delivery person always delivers with a smile.

Order incorrect, don't listen, but if you order, please be friendly. The food tasted very bland, little flavor. The atmosphere was not very pleasant, a terrace without atmosphere. Ordered a frikadel sandwich without mayonnaise and got one with mayonnaise.

You can buy the tastiest fries at Bram, whether in Zoetermeer, Bleiswijk or Schiedam....always delicious

Service top, and delicious fries and snacks!

We placed a large order today and with the help of the handy order screen we were able to place our order without any hassle. This time we did not have it delivered but picked it up ourselves. Despite the crowds, the employees remain very service-oriented and we received our order quickly. We had a delicious meal at home and will eat at this cozy place again next time we are in Schiedam ;-)

Product information screen does not match the product received. Ordered the veal croquette sandwich with mayo in a separate container and ordered small fries without. All this to take with you. I got the mayo on the croquette, so I didn't have anything to go with my fries. Croquette was lukewarm/cold. Fries were warm. I was completely ignored for the first 10 minutes (employees only had eyes for each other). A person had just placed an order. When I indicated that the product information on the screen did not match my order, I was told that they always do it this way and that a tub of mayo afterwards is 0.85 cents.
