Aug 21, 2026. 9:00 PM Girl alone behind the counter. Sorry, but these fries are totally unworthy of Bram. Fries way too hard. Some of them had already been fried three times. I threw away three-quarters of my large fries. 2 meatballs were okay though. As was the amount of mayonnaise on the fries. Maybe just to cover up the messy load. Since I had to drive quite a distance to get there, I'll stick to the Nieuwegein branch. I'm skipping Tilburg too.

Saturday 22:20, I set off on a 20-minute journey. I finally arrive because, is this the only Bram's left open? At 22:45 I want to order. The lady says, "Yes, we only have drinks left." While another 7 people are waiting in front of the counter for their fries order. There I am, standing there like a complete idiot. Look, if you don't want to work until 23:00. Go ahead and set your opening hours to 22:30, but not 23:00. Dear employer of Bram Ladage Zuidplein Laag, speak with your employees, or perhaps the problem lies with you. For example, that you only pay your employees until 23:00 and not a minute later. Then you shouldn't be surprised by a loss of revenue. Because, there were seriously people who wanted something to eat. But that wasn't possible. Because you are open until 22:30 and not 23:00. Or the lady just wanted to go home.

Great staff, very friendly, and good at chatting. And let's not forget the delicious food.

The food is perfect, but the atmosphere at Zuidplein is grim in the evening.

There were 3 people standing in the small shop, including 2 young ladies. They seemed to enjoy chatting with each other and constantly staring at the customers! This is not appreciated! There was a man standing there who was busy with his work while the ladies were having a tea party. I got the feeling that they were gossiping about me and others as well. A blonde girl behind the counter displayed a really snobbish attitude. The food is always great, but those ladies should just be separated because they don't know how to behave professionally!

My experience was that the service was slow and that I was not helped in a friendly manner. Because this location is at a station, I had expected a faster turnaround.

Standed in line for an hour, finally got my turn, only to be told I couldn't order fries. So I left the line. 5 minutes later, everyone was getting fries? Really weird!

You buy a sandwich and pay almost €3 for sauce. The sandwich ends up costing almost 8 euros. The employee helps you with difficulty. I have to go to the back to get served. Napkin hidden in the back and you can't get it yourself. They don't put the sauce inside the sandwich, but on the outside. Tables are dirty. Employees are laughing and chilling more than cleaning. Prices are outrageously high. That is theft. Imagine you buy a doner kebab and you have to pay for sauce?? That can't be right. Bought a sandwich for 4 euros and paid almost 8 euros for 2 sauces? Am I supposed to eat without sauce?? What a theft this is!!

I am very disappointed with my experience at Bram Ladage in Zuidplein. The staff was unfriendly and disrespectful. The employee with tattoos even started swearing when I asked why my portion was so small. I felt completely disregarded as a customer. Additionally, I received a much smaller portion of fries than usual. This is unacceptable to me, and I will not be returning here.

The food is very tasty, but the people there work a long time.

Worst ever. Not worth a star, actually. Rude on the phone when I asked where my order was after 2.5 hours. Bram Ladage unilaterally canceled it all of a sudden. Unbelievably rude business practices. The person on the phone clearly has no sense of humanity whatsoever.

(Angel is the best) Great atmosphere. I can understand some of the people who write here. Sometimes the atmosphere is a bit too cozy. But! Personally, I don't mind it; I enjoy watching it, and the food is usually ready quickly and delicious. I also have to say that the people who work there have never been unfriendly to me. Always very open and friendly. Sometimes I have to wait a bit longer, but then it's around dinner time and therefore busy. People should be patient then ;) A great location overall for a quick bite.

Had fantastic service from Hakim, Klaudia, and Walid on Thursday evening. They really made it a party and were very helpful!

Last week I was at this Bram Ladage, and the atmosphere was absolutely chaotic. There are young people everywhere chatting with the staff, not even for a short while, but for at least half an hour. The food is good, but it's very distracting when there are three or so young people standing around screaming. I've been here before, and I've noticed quite often that it's usually the same people. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but this can be a real nuisance. I often hear shouting coming from the dumpster itself; I don't know what it is, so I don't comment on it too much. Otherwise, the people who work there are enthusiastic!

I got fantastic help from Mark. He's a real gem.

Three people were standing behind the fryer, mostly chatting with each other and not paying attention. My order wasn't ready; the fries only went in when I complained. No apology, nothing. I was treated rudely.

I have to be honest, I didn't like the previous staff. Luckily, I don't see them anymore, which is a good thing, because there are already enough weird people in and around Zuidplein. But about the new staff? The ladies, in particular, are a-ma-zing. It suddenly creates a different atmosphere near the bus stops in Zuidplein. They're a bit of a light in the dark tunnel. I really wish they'd stay for a long time, or that they'd have a team like that with such vibes more often. Nothing's more fun than eating fries or snacks with a group of ladies at night. It also creates a better atmosphere in the neighborhood. Yes, the food is good. ☺️ With a nice atmosphere, the food even gets better. We can all eat fries together at Zuidplein after work at ten o'clock more often. A message to the customers and residents who bother the ladies there, if you can read it, but please behave. Don't ruin the atmosphere in Zuidplein with your annoying, nasty behavior. They're such intelligent, hard workers, and that stall with the new team is the only reason I can still get on and off the subway with a smile. 🙂

Bram Ladage is a well-known phenomenon in Rotterdam. The fries (patat) are fried golden brown and deliciously crispy with the skin on. It's just a shame they put a cardboard cup in the cone, so it's not completely filled with fries. They also serve fries sauce instead of mayonnaise. Considering the price, which is on the higher side, I think these things should be fixed. Otherwise, it would be a perfect chip shop, like Ratelband in Arnhem.

Terrible place. Ordered 4 snacks and fries 70 minutes ago (at 8:30 PM). Still not ready, the place is inaccessible, and the Uber Eats delivery driver is circling around on his bike. Luckily, we were able to cancel the order for free. Now we're without food. Unbelievable!

I ordered small fries instead of small, and I got a huge bag. I was embarrassed to walk away with that and then have to throw half of it away. I also had to repeat myself a few times before she finally responded, and the person who ordered me spoke almost inaudibly.

This Bram Ladage branch is tucked away in a dark corner below the metro station. Staff don't listen to your orders and regularly tap the wrong (often more expensive) item on the cash register, so always pay close attention before paying. If you order special fries, they only realize they're out of onions while they're preparing them. It's a bit odd that the onions are already gone an hour after opening, so they should at least mention this when the customer orders. There are plenty of supermarkets in Zuidplein, so it shouldn't be that hard to stock up on onions. The soft serve ice cream is also disappointing; if you buy a large one, you get a large cone, but they're downright stingy with the ice cream. All in all, not recommended.

Not too expensive, and good. Sauces are not included. There are a lot of Bram Ladage stores in Rotterdam.

I went there last weekend and there were two young people who were super professional, friendly and very fast and efficient, I have never seen such great employees at Bram Ladach. If most of their employees were like them it would be wonderful...!!!!! From now on, I will only go to the one on Zuidplein...!!!!

Very tasty fries that are freshly cut. The range of snacks compared to a snack bar from other regions is limited. But despite the limited choice, good quality. The delicious chicken pieces are recommended. Very different from that of the big M. The atmosphere is a bit less because you are alone outside in the noisy area.

Respect for the boys behind the counter. Born in Charlois and living in the “province” for years, when you are in Rotterdam you want fries from Bram…..the fries are gone. On Saturday evening. Wanted to eat with my wife, we had already paid for our order, after more than 20 to 25 minutes we saw all the new arriving customers leaving with their food, but we stopped hoping and started talking to the staff about the fact that we had not yet had our food and all the new arriving customers had already done so, but it turned out that our order had been completely forgotten, while I indicated that we still had a very long journey to go from Rotterdam to the other side of the country, which rubbed me the wrong way and I ended up asking for my money back. Also heard an employee who was working there use the word kk about an Ajax-PSV football match on which the best man had bet his money while there were also children standing and/or walking around in the area. Very disappointing experience. This has never happened to me at any Bramladage in Rotterdam, such poor service and poor treatment as a customer.

Often goes wrong with ordering on time. Never on time or they still have to bake or wrong order. And young people often hang around indoors.

We ordered the large blackberry fries for my mother. They had the straws in that container, and they half filled the bag with them. We received a half full bag. When I went to say something about that, the girl asked, "Shall I bake something with it?" I like to say, this is not fully stocked. The boy standing there came over and took over. He said you want it to fill up. I say yes. We had also already paid for the mayo, ketchup and onion. He asks again what would you like? These people are being unnecessarily stingy. And they are not customer friendly at all. I won't be coming back here again. You're not getting serious here. They think you're crazy... you pay the full amount but get a half-filled bag of fries.... bad thing

I called about an incorrect order I received. I received an order that belonged to someone else, I called them and was told to just eat it. Very rude staff. They couldn't even find a solution. The fries were also rock hard. Never again!
