Had a great meal here. We shared a tapas platter with two and then had a waffle.

Nice place in the heart of "Bergen op Zoom"... Our spot for a snack and a drink when we stay here,... always tasty, always very friendly....

Delicious pastries and good coffee

We had a lovely breakfast here, but there was only one woman taking care of all the tables. Good quality food and excellent coffee.

Nice coffee. Good pastries. The next day you will have a delicious breakfast with coffee or tea. A small cake, a chocolate croissant, a regular croissant, an emperor roll, ham, cheese, jam and chocolate spread and freshly squeezed orange juice. And that for 9.95. And everything freshly baked and oh yes, also a boiled egg.

What a nice place to have a bite to eat, everything was really delicious and we had a great time there. A nice lively place. Decent prices, also recommended for coffee and cake or just a glass of health: fresh orange juice. Just super good. 👍👍

It was not the first dining opportunity where I paid attention, but my wife, so I had to listen😎, indicated that people could eat well here. Well now, it is, in fact it was fantastic. The basis is of course that the food is good, and the atmosphere (read furniture) is secondary, in addition, the service was calm and not pushy at all. So yes, my wife was right, and I hope the staff can continue to provide this service in these blah blah times.

When we go to Shrove Tuesday, lunch (12 o'clock) at Bernard's is simply part of it.

Nice place, clean, good price and quality, the ladies at the service are friendly and attentive, excellent for lunch.

It's a bit of a shame if you're sitting comfortably at 4:30 PM when they start cleaning, then I don't have to eat anymore because you don't feel welcome. Just had a few drinks and went to eat somewhere else

Very sad presentation of 2 omelet sandwiches. 1 with cheese and 1 with mushrooms, omelet is done but that's about it. Plate not nicely laid out, no salad with anything. When the question is answered whether you enjoyed it, the waitress walks to the kitchen before hearing the answer. A real decline in what used to be a nice and good lunchroom...

Came for a Bossche bol with coffee. Not disappointed (thanks in part to Jan de Groot)

Had a nice lunch in a Christmas atmosphere. Attentive service, tasty ham/cheese omelette.

Wezen lunchen. Gezellige tent, leuke sfeer. Personeel deed erg hun best. Eten viel bij èèn van ons tegen. Hamburger besteld waar we erg lang op moesten wachten, werd ondanks dat koud geserveerd. Na klacht bij personeel hoefden we deze overigens niet te betalen. Zelf had ik sate met friet, was goed maar niet bijzonder.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijk personeel. Vind het alleen schandalig dat ze 4 euro vragen om een flesje melk op te warmen, onder het kopje diverse keuken. Dit zou gewoon service moeten zijn.

2x muntthee en 2x 12uurtje. €32!!! Sorry, het was lekker maar het kopje soep was echt minimaal, was een sausbakje ipv soepkom..(vandaar het kleine lepeltje) zeer dun plakje kaas en 3 dunne boterhammetjes. Nogmaals het smaakte goed maar prijs/kwaliteit is echt niet op orde. Bediening was vriendelijk

Het is een oudbollige entourage, de eier salade was erg flauw (zout en peper staan op tafel), maar het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk

Leuke brasserie met heerlijke kipsate

Heerlijk gegeten en gesmuld van de heerlijke kipsate😋en als toetje een heerlijke warme appelbol met ijs! We hopen weer snel opnieuw te komen genieten😋

Heerlijk eten, super service. Huisgemaakte tonijnsalade-delicatesse. Ook veel keuze mbt gebakjes.

Een prachtige en leuke plaats om een koffie te nutigen. De service is goed en het personeel is vriendelijk.

Al jaren een begrip in bergen, Je kunt er heerlijk lunchen, En wat het interieur betreft….. het is top! Ik kwam hier 20 jaar geleden met mijn oma, Als ik hier binnen kom voel ik me weer kind, Kortom zonder Bernard geen bergen!.

Vaste prik als we naar Bergen op zoom gaan. Lekker en niet duur.

Heb hier al enkele keren super lekker gegeten. De bediening is prima en gaat vlot, wat betreft de sfeer is er eigenlijk niets op aan te merken maar de decoratie loopt iets achter op de huidige tijd. Een deel van de warmte is er maar er kan nog meer bij denk ik. Ik ga zeker terug

Wanneer alles dicht is in Bergen op Zoom dan is Bernard open! Het interieur is hier klassiek te noemen, evenals de klandizie. Prima tussenstop onderweg naar België. Tip Uitsmijter ham.

This is a place that I actually visited many times but never reviewed. But I can say that the food and drinks are consistently good. Often it is packed to the rafters but service is never slow and it’s an exception to hear that they have run out of what you want. The staff is friendly and the food is good. And because the price is right, it is one of my favourite places to go whilst shopping in the city centre. Hope to see you there next time I’m over.
