We were there for a short break and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Because the food, drinks, and service were so excellent, we even ate there two days in a row. Very tasty and lovingly prepared food and a cozy atmosphere. We'd gladly go back!

Ended up here by chance. First called from the beach. (Another beach bar that I frequent was rented). Eating alone was no problem and the service remained friendly. Always nice. Unfortunately, the catfish had (sniff!) just disappeared from the map. The cod stew had to do the trick.... and oh, what a good choice; it was delicious, filled with a multitude of vegetables in a very nice combination, beautifully flavored. Exceeded expectations, pleasantly surprised and reason to definitely come back! I also liked the option of being able to order a small crème brûlée for a reasonable price if you don't want a large dessert. Unfortunately, the espresso was not tasty (but unfortunately in the Netherlands you can look for that with a light, so I won't be rude about that). Recommended!

Went to Brasserie Bosch this afternoon for lunch with my wife. The food was really excellent: My lightly fried tuna with wasabi, sesame and seaweed on crispy bread was the best I have ever eaten. My wife's scallops were also very tasty. Friendly service and beautiful views of the beach and sea. Ijmuiden may not be a pearl on the North Sea, but Bosch is the hidden pearl of Ijmuiden. Definitely worth repeating!

Exquisite cuisine, especially the fish! Very nice and attentive service and a nice, warm atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

Friendly service, very tasty food! As a starter we shared a tapas board with 2 people and it was sufficient and delicious! Had halibut and tuna steak as a main course. Both accompanied by grilled vegetables, perfectly cooked. The prices are also very democratic! We enjoyed it, thank you!

The restaurant really exceeded our expectations! As a starter we had the baked Camembert and the Carpacchio, which made a great combination. The main course was succade (roast veal), which was extremely tender and juicy, and the flat iron steak was perfectly fried and beautifully presented. Unfortunately we couldn't fit any more dessert... service great, good wine, nothing to be desired. Gladly again!

It's been a long time since we ate here. Then there was another restaurant. We chose the carpaccio in advance (with mature cheese instead of parmesan, but great taste) and the kibbeling. Not fried, but prepared with tempura: a relief) and as a main course for the mussels (delicious) and tuna steak. A generous portion of al dente vegetables (which you no longer find, unfortunately) and a large portion of tuna. In my opinion it was in the pan just a little too long. I should have said in advance that I wanted it a little less cooked. There was no room for dessert anymore. The service is alert, friendly and personable. All in all we had a nice evening.

Lang geleden dat we hier gegeten hebben. Toen zat er nog een ander restaurant. We kozen vooraf de carpaccio (met belegen kaas i.p.v. parmezaan, maar prima op smaak) en de kibbeling. Niet gefrituurd, maar met tempura bereid: een verademing) en als hoofdgerecht voor de mosselen (heerlijk) en tonijnsteak. Een ruime portie beetgare verschillende groenten (dat kom je steeds vaker niet meer tegen helaas) en een forse moot tonijn. Naar mijnj mening heeft die net even te lang in de pan gelegen. Ik had het ook van tevoren moeten zeggen dat ik die wat minder gaar wilde. Ruimte voor een toetje was er niet meer. De bediening is alert, vriendelijk en voorkomend. Al met al een fijne avond gehad.

Toilet not accessible to the disabled. Fortunately, we asked in advance, otherwise we would have really had a problem. Food will be pretty good etc but this is ridiculous! Pretend you can have access with a wheelchair, etc., but you just pee in your pants when you're older... and then just imagine that people can also use the stairs? We are talking about elderly people, but they are so deaf...

Enjoyed a delicious meal with good company and delicious whiskeys

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal dort und wurden angenehm überrascht. Die Qualität war sehr gut, geschmacklich einwandfrei, gute Portionen und eine nette Bedienung. Wir hatten die Muscheln und einen Red snapper. Die Portion der Muscheln war riesig, und das für 25 Euro. Auch der Red Snapper war reichlich und beides sehr lecker. Zum Abschluss bekam unser Hund dann auch noch zwei cookies 😍

Heel mooi stekje!!! Wij wilden eerst een drankje met een voorgerecht maar dat vond men lastig. Er werd gewenst dat wij meteen een hoofdgericht bestelde. Niet sympathiek maar los hiervan hebben wij hier heerlijk gezeten en gegeten. Het decor: ondergaande zon op zee, kite surfers, vertrekkend cruiseschip etc. Nogmaals, het eten was echt heel goed

I wanted to save the starter for later, and that was communicated that way. However, the food was simply thrown in the trash. When I couldn't finish the main course because of stomach problems, I also asked if it could be packed, it took 15 minutes and the fries for which I paid extra were also thrown away. We paid €5 extra and when we asked we only got a , sorry it's in the trash and we're not a takeaway restaurant. After the wrong starter was brought even though we had even pointed it out on the menu. Rude and super wasteful of food. Just throw everything straight into the trash.

After a terrible experience at Makai, 50 meters away, the day before, we had a wonderful meal here. The food was excellent and the waitresses were very attentive. The waiting time was pointed out right from the start, but at 20 minutes it was very manageable. Even if the building seems a bit intimidating and the furnishings seem a bit dated, you can eat really well here and enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and the dunes.

Blowing in spontaneously. And they still had a table for 2 available. Even though it was still quite busy. A friendly atmosphere with quiet music in the background I had a lovely meal. Actually, secretly a bit above my expectations. To start we had bread with herb butter, tapenade, oil and some coarse sea salt. First the kibbeling (oriental style) and the burrata. Both were very tasty. Main dish Veal steak (nice and tender) with prawns 🦐 and the flat iron steak. Which was just cooked well. The vegetables that were served with it were also delicious. (no hard al dente vegetables) Dessert. Creme brulee and chocolate brownie. Definitely recommended for a meal. 1 small tip. Make sure that the staff is more recognizable by wearing an apron or something.

Simply a top brasserie You just have to go there

Just before you enter the dunes there is a surprising restaurant: large menu, friendly service and really tasty food. We opted for shared dining from the menu: then part of the menu is served. Don't be discouraged by the sight of the harbor, eat well and enjoy the view.

Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink while enjoying the view of the sea. We haven't had dinner there yet, but that is definitely on the agenda

After making an ad hoc decision to go out for dinner and because we had friends who were moored in the port of IJmuiden with their boat, we ended up at Brasserie Bosch. We were 7 people. It turned out to have been a good choice. After first sharing two appetizer boards, we had a delicious meal. Both the fish and meat dishes were well prepared and the service was excellent. After coffee we left with complete satisfaction. As a bonus, the owner also provided us with the barrier. Top service and recommended to everyone.

Brasserie Bosch is truly an unexpected surprise. Our waiter was very friendly and enthusiastic about the menu which I always appreciate (I’ve worked for many years in hospitality) The menu is refreshing in that the offering is varied and unique in comparison to what you find at Dutch Brasseries (bitter ballen, satay, schnitzel) The fish is really fresh and well presented. From what we ordered, the Wild Menu dishes are gorgeous and exploding with autumn flavors. The mini desserts are perfect, especially if you’re full but want to finish with a coffee and a small sweet. I would say, as a resident of IJmuiden, that Brasserie Bosch is one of the top restaurants and we will definitely be eating there more often.

In dit restaurant gekookte Mosselen gegeten...Overheerlijke...het vispannetje was minder (weinig voor de prijs) **** Het panorama uitzicht is OVERWELDIGEND... de ambiance is zeer relaxed. ****** Minpunt!!!! Gasten mogen honden mee naar binnen nemen bij de tafel...dat ik zelf niet zo hygiënisch vind. En TE veel honden geeft toch problemen!

Heerlijk gedineerd en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Prachtig gemaakte gerechten in mooie en creatieve uitvoering. Bouillabaisse subliem, net als kalfstartaar. Mosselen fantastisch met heerlijke groenten. Desserts zeer verrassend. Klantvriendelijke bediening en enthousiaste kok. We verheugen ons op volgende keer!

Zaterdagavond 22 juli hebben wij heerlijk met z 'n vieren gegeten bij deze fijne en gezellige Brasserie. En het eten was geweldig, we werden welkom geheten door de Gastheer en deze heeft ons samen met de Gastvrouwen een heerlijke avond bezorgd. Dit zullen we niet gauw vergeten en er zeker nog eens terug komen! Dit is zeker een aanrader als u in de buurt bent van IJmuiden. Fam.de Koning

Sehr lecker gegessen und sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service

Sehr gepflegtes Ambiente, kleine Speisekarte und überraschend lecker, insgesamt eine 4,9 von uns!

Vanmiddag hier met zijn vieren gegeten (heerlijke vissalades), vooraf parkeerplaats gereserveerd, maar het was druk dus op een openbare parkeerplaats geparkeerd. Op de website stond dat je een uitrijkaart kon krijgen dus toen ik daar om vroeg bij het betalen bleek de man die mij hielp hier niets van te weten. De dame die hij om hulp vroeg reageerde gelijk met:" Nee hoor, dat doen wij niet." Toen ik zei dat dat op de website stond was de reactie hetzelfde. Ik heb betaald en zei dat het dus de laatste keer was dat ik hier zou komen en haar reactie was, drie octaven hoger:" Nou ja, waar slaat dát nou weer op?" Ik weet niet waar deze dame haar hospitality opleiding gedaan heeft, maar ik adviseer een opfriscursus... Ps. Als ik had geweten dat de parkeerkosten wel meevielen, had ik er niet eens over begonnen, maar de houding van deze dame...sorry, dit kan niet!

Zo wat was dit lekker zeg. Sprankelend verfrissend gewoon heel erg lekker eten. Locatie kenden we al omdat we in IJmuiden wonen. Aanrader. Het menu genomen met de 8 kleine gerechten meer dan genoeg en top eten. Toetje geweldig. Ga zo door. Ontspannen sfeer fijne bediening.

Heerlijk gegeten. We komen zeker terug.

Nog niet eerder ontdekt! Heerlijke plek met uitzicht over de zee. Salade geitenkaas gegeten. Vers brood erbij, de salade was voortreffelijk. Zoals deze beschreven was op de menukaart, kreeg ik er al zin in. Met bietjes, geroosterde wortel, groene asperges, heerlijke verse ingredienten. Lang geleden dat wij zo'n heerlijke salade hebben geproefd! Complimenten.

We hebben 2 avonden genoten van een shared dinner (8 verschillende kleine gerechten per avond). Heel smaakvol, compleet en afwisselend! Als we weer in de buurt zijn gaan we daar beslist weer eten. Ook de bediening en het uitzicht is top!

Wat een pareltje👌🏻 Twee avonden genoten van het shared dining menu. En twee avonden verschillende gerechten die stuk voor stuk van topkwaliteit waren. Zeker voor passanten in seaport ijmuiden een aanrader.

Questa è la seconda volta che vengo in questo locale l'altra volta ho preso una birra, ma oggi ho preso un vitello tonnato squisito. Il luogo è molto bello vista mare adiacente ad un Marina molto grande con molte barche anche a vela. Locale interno è molto ampio in stile Marino molto ben arredato il personale molto gentile. Di fronte c'è anche una spiaggia enorme d'estate deve essere un bello spettacolo. Terza visita confermo, bel posto.

Ontzettend genoten van de maaltijd, super lekker, mijn vrouw heeft de steak tartaar vooraf en de herten rugfilet als hoofd gerecht gegeten, ik heb eerst de geitenkaas uit de oven en daarna kalfs biefstuk met champignonsaus gegeten. Uitmuntende smaken, de kok is klaarblijkelijk met zorg uitgekozen! De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en vlot. Dit restaurant is een welkome aanwinst voor IJmuiden, echt een aanrader!!!
