Very bad experience with this place. Ordered food and after more than an hour nothing had been delivered yet. I called and was told that they still had to start on the order and that it would take another 40 minutes. When ordering, it stated a delivery time of 30 to 55 minutes. Waiting 2 hours for an order is really ridiculous. I cancelled the order and will never order here again. They weren't very friendly on the phone either.

We have eaten there several times now and the food was delicious. We were served by friendly staff. It is a beautiful, spacious establishment with a lovely terrace.

We had made a reservation and subsequently had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for the food to arrive; the starter and main course came at the same time. The food was good, but otherwise certainly not worth repeating.

Ordered something for home delivery for the first time. It arrived quickly, that wasn't the problem. But if you order chicken satay with fries, you surely expect peanut sauce with the satay, RIGHT? 2 portions of fries and 2 chicken satays for 30 euros without sauce is really paying a lot! What a shame!

Ordered food today, unfortunately something was missing from my order again. Tried calling 3 times but couldn't get through. I find it very disappointing when you order something that isn't complete, and when you try to contact them you can't reach anyone.

Had a truly delicious lunch at this lovely place. Haven't had such a tasty spicy chicken sandwich in ages! Do keep in mind, however, that it takes a while before your food arrives. That isn't really a problem with such a cozy terrace.

The service isn't just bad, it's terribly bad. The food is fine. But because of the service, I will never go here again. It takes a very long time before someone comes to the table. And they have absolutely no understanding of how a restaurant runs. So people, just don't go there; you'll be annoyed to death. A waste of such a place.

Quite disappointing. We placed an order for delivery at 18:50. Half an hour past the desired delivery time, we still hadn't received anything. So we called, and it turned out they couldn't find our order. Then we were told it would be delivered within half an hour. And that they were busy because everyone was ordering. No shit Sherlock... that's just how a cafeteria works. But apparently, they are completely incompetent in their business operations, because over an hour later, we still hadn't received anything. Called again, and this time they said they would be able to deliver it within 15 to 30 minutes. In the end, we decided to just pick it up ourselves, because our trust in this hopeless greasy spoon is completely nil.... If, as a company, you can't handle fulfilling your orders according to the agreement, perhaps you should consider not offering a delivery service. Very disappointing this...

Lovely place, we reserved via Social Deal the first time and had a top-notch experience. Delicious food and a tasty dessert at the end. The food is good and truly better than expected. Staff always friendly. We went back here again because we liked it so much and it was very tasty again, a top-notch experience. We will definitely be coming back here more often.

We rounded off our 12-year-old's birthday party with a high fries party for 8 boys. What a success this was…. They thought of everything. Decorations for the birthday boy, confetti cannons, party horns, pitchers of drinks on the table…. I had warned them beforehand about the boys' "volume," but nothing was made of it. The staff just joined in with a big smile. It was a real party and, not entirely unimportant… the food was delicious too ;-). We finished off with a tasty ice cream… Highly recommended!! Thank you so much for everything!

Replace the frying oil in time... everything is soggy and mushy, and I have a greasy stomach ache. Into the bin, and the last order I'll place here.

We had been sitting on the terrace for well over 15 minutes. Eventually, we went inside ourselves to be served. They took our order and left the previous guests' dirty dishes on the table. Drinks were served, and we waited 35 minutes for 1 plate of fries, 2 croquette sandwiches, and 1 meatball. And it wasn't busy there. We had a similar experience about six months ago, but that can happen once in a while. And now again. It’s not the food or drinks, but this really blows your mind. We reported this to the manager, and he just shrugged his shoulders.

I've had dinner delivered a few times now and it's delicious every time! It's also nice and hot when delivered.

My friends and I were here for a drink the other day and it was definitely a cozy place. The staff was friendly and came to serve us quickly. The only thing that went wrong was a misunderstanding with the food; we ordered a burger without lettuce, but it did have lettuce on it. The staff kindly redid it and it was very tasty. Definitely recommended if you are in the center of Sliedrecht.

Great place, but the waiting times are really unacceptable! We sat there for almost 2 hours, and someone came by once to ask if we wanted something to drink. The service is slow, and they act like they don't see you!

I've ordered multiple times via pickup and home delivery. It's almost always late. When you order online for pickup, it's never ready at the agreed-upon time; they only start after you're inside, even though you've already paid. Home delivery takes an insanely long time. I waited over an hour and a half for a (small) order.

Extremely poor customer communication. We ordered food at 5:00 PM and ordered delivery for 6:00 PM. Still nothing by 6:30 PM, so I called the store. I explained that we'd ordered almost two hours ago. The lady on the phone said she needed to check with the boss and told her boss we were "complaining." Sorry?! Complaining?! Only to be told that they still hadn't started preparing our food at 6:30 PM. It's very unprofessional to talk about your customers like that in front of them.

I ordered through Thuisbezorgd, but didn't want to create an account to write a review. Context: We were a group of 8 who ordered various menus, burgers, and some sides on a Sunday evening at 5:15 PM. So, a decent order. Let's start with the good points: the food was fantastic. I had the teriyaki chicken burger and a side of Korean fried chicken. The Korean fried chicken wasn't anything special, but it was still tasty, nice and crispy, and soft on the inside. The fries were also tasty and good; where other places offer a bit of soggy fries, that's not the case here. And the teriyaki chicken sandwich was really good. In terms of food, I think BBK is way above what you could order online (that I know of). It's a shame they don't deliver to Dordrecht. Then, a downside: Because they use their own delivery drivers, you have no idea how long it will take, and Thuisbezorgd gives you a guess. I'm used to orders for a large group during peak hours usually taking longer. I finally called them for an update, and they said about half an hour. It ended up being an hour. I think that's a shame. I completely understand that food for a large group during peak hours takes longer than indicated. But we received our food almost 2.5 hours after ordering. And the 30-40 minute forecast was far from being met. I would have appreciated a quick call (initially) to let them know it was busy and running late, so we'd know what to expect. The delivery driver was also aware of this and apologized, which I thought was very kind. TL;DR: Good, tasty food, much better than alternatives, long wait. Top: Good food, high quality in the delivery business, and a friendly delivery driver. Tip: Label the boxes with the contents and inform the customer if the order will take longer than an hour, giving them a realistic estimate, or use the delivery timeline (if possible). If you dine here, order well in advance; it's easier for everyone involved.

In previous reviews, you read the same complaint, and the owner responded that something would be done about it. It wasn't. This was the last time I ordered from BB Kitchen.

Today we had a lovely time at the Christmas market in Sliedrecht with a drink and a snack. We ordered 3 sausage rolls. We received them, and when we cut them, they were undercooked/partially raw, see photo. I reported this and paid immediately upon ordering (stupid). The solution was a new sausage roll. They told us it took 17 minutes. This wasn't a problem for us, and we asked if that wasn't too short, as I work in the hospitality industry and always bake them for 24 minutes at 175°C. They said they always do it this way and it's always good. After receiving the new sausage roll, I was really disappointed because it wasn't cooked through either. Photo 1 is the first roll, and photo 2 is the replacement sausage roll. The roll certainly had the same color. But it definitely needed a few more minutes. They didn't ask if it was ready, and our table was simply ignored. I'm not one for writing critical reviews, but this was the last straw after messing up twice. Such a shame...

Today I had the opportunity to try a first: D'Ambagter whiskey infused. Highly recommended. As always, the service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great, the place was beautiful, clean, and fresh, and the food was delicious.

Ordered food around 10 a.m. for around 6:30 p.m. After calling twice, the food arrived around 7:45 a.m., but it wasn't very warm. The delivery boy had to apologize because it was so busy, but he can't help it. This is the first and last time I've ordered from you, because this is ridiculous. If you can't handle many customers, put a stop on orders.

It's possible that the food might take a little longer to arrive on occasion. We ordered three times, and each time it was over an hour late. This time, the delivery was scheduled for 6:20 PM; it's now 7:30 PM, and after calling twice, it's hopefully coming in fifteen minutes. Stop delivering and stop constantly disappointing people. Today, Thursday, October 30th, four of us went for a drink and a snack, but we found the service subpar. It took too long for them to even answer the phone. The staff is also too young, which is understandable when it comes to drinks. That really costs revenue when it comes to serving them. The service isn't properly guided in this regard. It's a real shame, as it could be so much better.

We ordered two healthy sandwiches without the lettuce on a soft bun. When it was delivered, we saw that it only contained cheese, ham, and two pieces of egg. It was supposed to also contain tomato and cucumber...and that for almost 8 euros.

Unfortunately, that was disappointing. You walk in to the pickup counter, stand there for a moment, the staff looks at you, says nothing (a moment would have been polite, at least), and there you are. After waiting, I finally walk back outside.

Lovely place. Excellent food. Unfortunately, they made a lot of mistakes and had to wait a very long time (1 hour and 15 minutes for fries and snacks - 20 minutes for soft serve ice cream at the counter. That's really long for a snack bar with 5 occupied tables and 6 staff). It wasn't a pleasant experience for us with children. Unfortunately, I heard from several other tables/guests who had the same experience. Now that I read the reviews, I understand we're definitely not the only ones with this experience. Such a shame, it's a great concept, but we definitely won't be returning!

Had lunch here today. It looked delicious, but tasted much worse. The meat was cold, the bread was tough and limp. It took a very long time for the food to arrive, even after asking, it took a while longer. The atmosphere wasn't great; there were old men chatting loudly and drinking beer. If you want to experience how NOT to do things in the hospitality industry, this is the place to be. The wait time is long. It can be made up as long as the food is good. We ordered a panini, a wrap, and two drinks, one of which was a cola with lemon. The man returned with the message: "We're not doing paninis today. No lunch dishes." It was just after 1 p.m. Okay, then a wrap too. The man left and brought the drinks. We didn't have the lemon we requested. We asked for the lemon. The man went to get the lemon. He brought a bowl of dirty lemon slices, which he then picked up with his fingers and tossed into the glass. We immediately tossed them out. The lemons in the bowl had brown bits and white patches. Then we waited half an hour. When we asked where our food was, it turned out the wraps weren't coming. They were lunch dishes, and they don't serve those anymore at that time. The owner came and said: "It happens..." No, sir, this can't happen. It was nice that we got our drinks for free. In my opinion, this establishment has absolutely no hospitality experience. I've been twice before. When I finally got the food, it was good. The wait was just incredibly long. But today was NOT okay.

I had a delicious Crispy Chicken Burger. It was delicious. Served with fries and salad. It looked nice. The service was also very friendly.

We had High Fries here this afternoon. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both during reservations and once we arrived. We had one person with a gluten allergy, and they also served her several gluten-free snacks and fries on a separate tray. Unfortunately, the ice cream wasn't gluten-free, but they made her a delicious smoothie. All the food was delicious! We were very satisfied and will definitely be back!

I ordered a truffle burger and fries through Thuisbezorgd! I placed the order incorrectly and chose to pick it up. They politely called to say there was an order waiting. I told them it was wrong and needed to be delivered. The owner even showed up on his bike and, despite the rain, delivered the food. Excellent service, thanks! 🙏🏻

After making a reservation here at BB Kitchen, we saw the bad reviews... We still went. Wow, the bad reviews are completely untrue. It's a cozy atmosphere... The service is super friendly and fast... We had our drinks within minutes. The food was on the table quickly and was still warm. And the dessert was also excellent. So, people, don't always believe the bad things that are written; most people who have enjoyed a good meal often don't write reviews. We will definitely be back.

A very bad experience...had lunch....waited 45 minutes to finally be served, even though the restaurant and outdoor terrace weren't busy...there were plenty of staff. The croquettes were "cold."...after I complained, I received another croquette that was also "cold"!!! There were two of us...my lunch was already served, the other one didn't arrive until over 5 minutes later...poor planning for guests at the same table. Several tables with guests around us had to wait a very long time...guests sitting near us also said their toasted sandwich was "cold." One guest at another table got so angry that he said he'd also waited over 45 minutes for his order...I now demand that my food arrive within 5 minutes or I'm leaving. At checkout, I mentioned that this is unheard of for a restaurant. Take advantage of this information, or the restaurant will not survive.

Sat there today during the dredging festival. We first had coffee and a pastry (around 15:30). It took quite a while before we could order, but it was also quite busy. After the coffee and pastry were brought, no one from the staff came to our table to ask if we wanted to order anything or to clear the table. Around 17:00 we got hungry and wanted to order food. After we were finally able to speak to someone from the service, we were told that food could no longer be ordered, only snacks! We found this very strange, especially because they also deliver and the people who had made a reservation could simply order what was on the menu. After paying, we went to ask how this was possible. The man who “helped” us said that he did not want his staff to be at home with stress. But the way he looked at us, it seemed that he did not care at all. When I also said that it was bad publicity for his business, he only replied: "Oh, I've had a lot of positive reactions, the few negative ones don't do anything for me." In short, it's a bad thing that you no longer serve anything from the menu, but also that the staff doesn't even mention this. Not even to people who came in and clearly came to eat.

Since they opened, I have ordered weekly by telephone from B B Kitchen Sliedrecht and have always been neatly and properly helped by employee Celina! The last few times helped by a number of new young employees who make mistakes when you are at the cash register and apparently report the adjustments incorrectly to the kitchen staff every time... Once again I had a wrong order, paying €8.95 for a sandwich with a hamburger with egg and sauce. Without tomato does not mean without fried onion, mushrooms and lettuce... Normally I called for this but I'm done with it now, to be honest...

Unfortunately not satisfied for the 3rd time, ordered everything with twister fries and still received a menu with normal fries, spare ribs burned last time and now with a fried layer of fat over them. A shourma dish with a pita that you can throw through the window. Too bad we don't order from here anymore.

Last weekend I wanted to have lunch here with 2 children and grandma. After 40 minutes we could order food. Menu looked good, nice dishes and varied. After 30 minutes we still didn't have our food, asked where it was because the children were starting to get hungry. After 10 minutes they told us that something had gone wrong with the order and that it still had to be made. Asked how long it would take because we had been sitting here for more than 1 hour. They weren't sure. Mentioned that we were going to eat somewhere else because the children were really hungry. While paying the bill they asked if we only wanted to pay for the drinks or also for the food that we didn't have at all. Of course we only paid for the drinks and went to eat somewhere else. The service didn't seem to be very interested, furthermore we were a bit disappointed.

Not much to comment on the case itself. Everything looked neat and nicely decorated. The reception was a bit awkward even though it was quiet, but they haven't been open for that long, so that's manageable. Food was ready right on time, so that was definitely a plus. However, the problem starts with the most important part, namely the food. A lot of types of burgers and loaded fries and we also bought a selection of those. The fries are disappointing (think FEBO fries) and the toppings are quite disappointing. The burgers were inedible. The crispy chicken tastes worse than supermarket chicken from the air fryer and the burger was completely fried and had no taste. The bread was so soft that the hamburger fell apart in your hands. McDonalds is better and that should be the minimum level I think. In any case, I will not order/pick up from here again.

Went here for lunch for the first time today. They've been open for exactly a month now so there are some start-up problems which is very understandable. It took quite a while before we were helped with our drink orders. But within 2 minutes our drinks were on the table. Then we waited almost half an hour before our lunch order was taken. (We did first ask the young man (who by the way has been taken over from brasserie de dijk. You should definitely keep this guy, a super nice guy) if we could place a lunch order, he took care of it right away) We could clearly see that the kitchen was busy. We had to wait quite a while before our food was served, but in the meantime we were offered something to drink by the house. Super friendly and very service-oriented. Because we had to wait so long we could have a good look into the open kitchen. I myself have a catering background and could recognize some points for improvement in terms of hygiene. (THESE ARE SOME TIPS) Do not put dirty dishcloths on a counter against sausage rolls. (Cover the sausage rolls with a bell jar). The lady who was on grill duty regularly touched her nose and put her finger in her mouth to lick it. There was an open garbage can in the scullery, which in my opinion is not as it should be. The dirty thousand-things cloth really needed replacing, it had already died yesterday. The girl with those beautifully painted fingernails should have been wearing gloves with every order and not with one person and not the other. No rings, bracelets or watches when you are working with food. If you have to put croquettes on the plate that have already been fried, use tongs. As soon as the rolls come warm out of the oven, use tongs, not a dirty tea towel. You could clearly see that not everything was going as it should today. It was a mess (and that is such a shame with an open kitchen, because everyone can see that it is a chaos and not hygienic enough). My fried eggs with bacon were delicious. The soup in contrast was not special. The burger that my table companion had was perfect. As I said at the beginning of my review, this lunchroom/chip shop has just opened, so start-up problems are logical. We will definitely come back, but that will be in a few months. The staff is very nice and customer-friendly. The young man who served the drinks is a real host!!!!...... see you soon. (This is not a criticism but tips for improvement)

The menu indicates that you get fries with mayonnaise, but this is not true, but fries sauce…. Called to not get a cocktail even though this had been promised by telephone. Which restaurant does not have a cocktail these days. A lot went wrong, the staff didn't see anything, we already had our drinks while the table still had to be cleaned and cleared. Our experience was not a success, a lot of them were sold out, you hear that from the kitchen while you think, I'll just walk to Jumbo, after all, a 1-minute walk away. Furthermore, the owner didn't even know his own table numbers, if you think it can't get any worse, it really does 🤔

Had a great lunch here, a bit on the pricey side. We opted for the warm ham sandwich and the spicy chicken. The spicy chicken is not spicy but more sweet, but nevertheless a tasty sandwich. To share, we had the loaded fries with parmesan cheese and truffle mayonnaise. The parmesan cheese was hard to find. Delicious cappuccino!

We bought a soft ice cream at the takeaway point/snack bar of this brasserie. The bench in front of their door was occupied, so we took a seat on the spacious terrace of which there is only 1!!!!!!!!! table was occupied. After a few minutes a clerk came over to say that we were not allowed to eat our ice cream there, but if we wanted to, we had to order something to eat/drink. Euhhhh.... the ice creams we bought come from you. We didn't get sent away, but I won't be buying ice cream here again anytime soon (despite delicious soft ice cream!)

I want to rest for a while and the manager goes crazy with me, I get into an argument with him, he starts shouting and throwing pillows, this is what I like about treating customers with respect.

The quality of the food was actually divided per dish. The chicken satay and the extra large hamburger were very good and would get 5 stars. However, the poffertjes and fries only score 1 star. The poffertjes were soaked in fat and the fries were really salty. Not really nice for the kids. They are not exactly the cheapest, but their service is so fast that they will take your drink while you are still taking off your coat.

Daar heb ik zo'n lekker broodje gegeten, met de naam, SLOPPY JOE. Nou Daar ga ik helemaal van uit me dak. Zo lekker. En de bediening gewoon lekker relaxed. Kom uit Dordrecht, maar hoop er snel weer eens te zijn.

Aanzicht is wat minder, weinig leven op de maandag, maar dan kom je binnen en wordt je plezierig verrast! Goede bediening, schone zaak, vers eten op mooi servies. Aanrader.
