After a day of boating, we had a delicious meal with a large group. We really liked the calzone kapsalon. Tip: don't put tomato sauce on the pizza calzone. The next order will definitely be here..

I normally never write negative reviews, but this is truly scandalous. I just ordered a small kapsalon; it arrived reasonably quickly, but the container was only filled with fries and a small piece of chicken doner. Definitely not worth 11.50.

Highly recommended! The shawarma is deliciously seasoned and incredibly tasty. The pizzas are generously topped, flavorful, and freshly prepared. The food is served quickly, everything is clean, and the service is top-notch. Owner Hamdi is very friendly and attentive to his customers. He always stops for a chat and makes sure you feel welcome. A lovely place with tasty food and excellent hospitality. We will definitely be coming back here more often!

I was skeptical at first because there was a new owner again. But I was pleasantly surprised! A very friendly owner; he even asked what music we wanted since it wasn't very busy. In addition, the food was good; generous portions that were served deliciously. This hasn't always been the case in the past, but I will definitely be coming back here more often!

On Friday, Hamdi from Shalom made 25 delicious pizzas for my class and parents. We had a wonderful meal. Thank you for everything!

The food was tasty, just what you expect from an average shawarma place. We had it delivered and it took about an hour, which I still thought was a long time, but oh well. I might very well stop by again after three drinks, but otherwise not.

Shalom has new owners and this is a big step in the right direction. The food is good, the pizza has improved significantly, and the owners are very friendly.

Super good shawarma, nicely seasoned, and tasty pizza, highly recommended. We're going to try the chicken this week, but I'd say definitely stop by; it's a good shawarma in Sliedrecht again.

Very good since the new owner Hamdi has been running the place with his son. Pizza and Shawarma are very tasty, including the onion sauce. Will be back soon.

The pizzas are so deliciously crispy and the thin crust flavor is superb; I haven't eaten this good anywhere else. There were 6 of us, the service was good, and the new owner Hamdi is such a nice man; he listens very well to exactly what you want to eat. From now on, this is our pizza place, top-notch!

The food here is always delicious. Easily the best pizzas in Sliedrecht since Il Mago closed its doors, and you can also come here for a kapsalon in the early hours. The quality is top-notch. In the past, the service was sometimes a bit inconsistent, but that has clearly improved nowadays with the new owners. We received friendly assistance. Definitely recommended!

Went to get shawarma out of nostalgia, but what a difference from the old days! The new owner renovated and turned it into a cozy eatery with very friendly service. The shawarma was deliciously seasoned, much tastier than I remember. Definitely recommended; next time we'll try the pizza!

Finally, good shawarma is available in Sliedrecht again. Delicious lamb. A former employee is now the new owner. What a relief; the previous owner had really made a mess of it after taking over about 3 years ago (the old owner passed away). Now the new owner has renovated the interior and brought the food back up to a good standard. Good, friendly service. And the name Shalom has been done justice again.

Had a delicious meal with a friend today and everything was freshly prepared, I would say "keep up the good work".

I got 2 shawarma sandwiches. I didn't think it looked very hygienic to begin with. A large batch of meat under the hot grill on a warm summer day. Not covered or chilled. Wilted lettuce on the side without dressing or anything. I paid the price that evening and night: greasy diarrhea! What a letdown! As you can read below, after 4 years I am receiving a general response that everything is supposedly better now. I would start with a free menu to prove that everything is better than it was back then. That is how you build trust. Not a generic copy-and-paste response like this one.

There is now a new owner. A very nice man who is 100% committed. Everything has been renovated, it is cozy, has a pleasant atmosphere, and the quality is really superb! Highly recommended.

The food is mediocre for what you get, with very little fries or meat/chicken. The service was rude. I got the wrong order. I even had to go back myself and was then blamed for not having said it correctly. I definitely won't be coming back here.

Last week, after an hour and a half, I called myself to be told the order couldn't go through due to busy times. I had to call Thuiszorg myself, but they don't have a private phone number. After calling three times (on different days), I finally got my money back from Thuiszorg. We thought today, everyone deserves a second chance, but not for Shalom, I can tell you. After waiting an hour, we received two kapsalons. The order was for one kapsalon and one pizza, which was difficult for Shalom. The message "garlic sauce on the side" also proved difficult because it was simply poured into the kapsalon. I'm really done with it now. No more Shalom for me for a while. If only it were cheap... but it isn't.

I had been a loyal customer for 20 years. Not anymore after today. It may no longer bear the name shalom Everything that was shalom is gone The shawarma is strange meat with way too many special herbs and tastes old The 2 fries were limp and for €9!!!! Even less than a cup at the Mac The peanut sauce was nasty and sour The pizza wasn't what it used to be Tastes verahilkne. But this taste is not shalom!! I have placed an order for delivery. Food was prepared quickly and delivery person was fast and super friendly. The pizzas are 100% made to order. Hot, super fast and still cheap. Definitely recommended!

If you don't want to waste a day sitting on the toilet and feeling sick then I would order somewhere else

We had ordered. Firstly, we had to wait a very long time, after it said they were almost there we had to call to ask where they were. Well the food was there, we looked at our order and we were missing half of our order. We called immediately and they said 'oh yes yes yes it's coming', so not very friendly. After 20 minutes we had to call again and indicated that we knew nothing because they had not asked for an address. On the phone the man told us that he had personally packed our order and that our sandwiches were really bad because he knew that for sure. .. We made it clear on the phone that we were really missing our sandwiches, the gentleman on the phone did not completely agree. Finally got our sandwiches, unfortunately cold. We will not order again.

Waited 2 hours for my order then called 3 times to find out where it was. It has been on its way 3 times and the 3rd time the delivery person sent it back with food. Sir came back you can have it without paying sorry for the inconvenience he said. I understood that when I opened the bag and saw everything was faded cold and even hair in the food. No more shalom for us. It has a different owner Very unfortunate because it was always perfect.

We have been ordering Italian pizzas here more often lately. They are really delicious, tasty and richly filled. If you are really a meatlover, go for the “pizza carne”. Highly recommended!

Vandaag een pizza shoarma bestelt, de bodem was erg goed, shoarma was lekker, knoflook saus ook, alleen de kaas viel tegen.

Lekker in de biirt en tenminste open tot in de late uurtjes..das wel lekker als in de buurt het meeste om 2200 de deuren sluit en je nog trek hebt na het uitgaan.

Vond de pizza's altijd heerlijk. Nu al een aantal keer gehad dat ik de bodem wat smaakloos en droog vind. Erg jammer.

Tot 3 uur ‘s nachts kun je hier terecht. De grillroom ziet er schoon uit! Dit had ik niet verwacht, dus ik was blij verrast. Er is echter geen falafel, dat is best jammer voor een vegetariër. Al met al, wel erg tevreden en zeker aan te raden na een gezellig avondje in Sliedrecht.
