I had a disappointing experience. I know that staff costs are high in the Netherlands these days. Renting a restaurant in a prime location in Sliedrecht might be expensive, but that doesn't mean that when you order an Angus beef burger (making it with Angus beef mince is a crime anyway), you get zero side dishes for that much money. No fries, no salad, absolutely nothing. There are definitely better places to be found in Sliedrecht, including Sliedrecht. Incidentally, the other dishes on the menu are also overpriced.

We came here for something to eat and drink, but apparently we were the only ones on the terrace who weren't allowed to. Other tables were served as usual, getting food, drinks—everything. We? Nothing. As soon as we tried to order, we were snapped at and given angry looks by the staff. No explanation, no service, just the feeling of being unwelcome. It was like we were being punished for being there. Incredibly unprofessional and downright disrespectful. We left angry and hungry. --- Would you like it even sharper, with sarcasm, or calmer and more businesslike?

Man, oh man, just when you're thinking about enjoying a drink and a bite to eat after a day of sailing, that grumpy Ellie Lust-looking guy comes up to you and says, "Yeah, there's a lot of you, don't think you're going to get any food." Then they gave us a grumpy look. I'd actually give it a minus 5 star rating, but Google doesn't support that. It's a terrible place, don't go there!

Racist employees!!! Today I went for bacon and beans with my daughter. Because my daughter was crying, I went to their terrace and asked an employee (fat blond girl) if they had fries or something like that. Then she said in an aggressive tone “sorry, but we don't have fries, if you want them you have to go to another restaurant.” I was just shocked by her answer and said, okay, maybe I can see what you have on the menu? Then she said yes again, but we only have dishes. I said if I order an apple juice? Then she said “yes that is possible” then she brought the menu and it said TWISTERS WITH MAYO. In short, these people are racist because I wear a headscarf, they treated me like this. Doing nothing!!! If you hire rude employees who are not customer friendly, you will lose a lot of customers. I will NEVER eat or drink at this restaurant again.

Worth at least 5 stars. The only downside is something that the restaurant cannot do much about and that is the parking. Immediately received a friendly welcome upon arrival, so that immediately felt nice. Opted for shared dining for the food. In other words, selected a number of dishes and finished them together. We had 5 different dishes, all of which tasted delicious. The chicken goayo or something like that was both our favorite. For dessert, the cheesecake is highly recommended. Tijdens kerst heerlijk gegeten. Niet voor de eerste en ook zeker niet voor de laatste keer. En echte aanrader qua eten, bediening en ambiance. Echt top!

Eten was erg lekker en de bediening was vriendelijk. Toetje was ook heerlijk! Er zitten we veel wespen, maar in de zomer kan je dat lastig tegenhouden. Ze proberen er wel vanalles voor uit om ze uit de buurt te houden.

Lekker spontane correcte bediening en mooie beperkte kaart waardoor het makkelijk en snel kiezen is. Kwaliteit van het eten was uitstekend en het uitserveren super snel. Opmaak van de borden goed en origineel passend bij de uitstraling van het restaurant. Zeker een aanrader en zal voor ons niet de mate keer zijn dat er ze met een bezoek vereren.

Heerlijk terras, een van de betere plekken van Sliedrecht. De homemade cheesecake en appeltaart zijn een aanrader!

Unieke sfeer in sliedrecht. Eten was goed en niet prijzig. Bediening was vrolijk en vriendelijk. Wij gaan hier zeker een keer terug komen!

De kippendijen “Chicken honey lime skewer”, was vrij zuur en één van de drie bestelde skewers leek hier en daar niet helemaal gaar. Verder was het personeel ook niet echt vriendelijk. Bij het afrekenen ook aangegeven dat we het niet goed vonden, maar er was weinig interesse in feedback.

Vanmiddag wezen lunchen. Het eten was erg lekker, maar een vreemd lunch gerecht. Het was maar goed dat we friet hadden bijbesteld, anders was het maar een karig bordje geweest voor 13 euro per stuk. Paar stukjes vlees met een klein beetje saus / groente. Je verwacht er toch wel een broodje of zo bij. Tevens was het koud. We snappen best dat er zuiniger gestookt, maar je klanten moeten niet een jas aan om het aangenaam te hebben. De bediening was erg vriendelijk! Maar al met al zullen wij er niet terug komen. Verhouding prijs, hoeveelheid was gewoon niet oké en je moet er wel relaxt zitten en niet weg moeten gaan, omdat je het koud hebt.

Personeel leek er deze avond geen zin in te hebben. Eerst wordt er met de ogen gerold wanneer je om een tafel vraagt en aangeeft dat je niet gereserveerd hebt, vervolgens moet je 2x om de menukaart vragen met genoeg tijd er tussen dat je al op het punt hebt gestaan gewoon maar weg te lopen. Vervolgens eindelijk de menukaart gehad, is het heel moeilijk om weer iemand bij de tafel te krijgen om de bestelling op te nemen. We waren aan de vroege kant van 17.00 en er waren genoeg lege tafels tov personeel om in iedergeval elke tafel aandacht te kunnen geven. Het eten was uiteindelijk wel lekker (punten voor de keuken.) Uitstalling van je personeel doet zoveel, en deze houding verpeste de hele sfeer.

Altijd heerlijk eten bij Spek & Bonen. Ook een gluten- en lactose intolerantie wordt serieus genomen. Ze denken echt met je mee, super fijn. Wij komen zeker terug.

Lekker drankje gedaan met verschillende kleinen gerechtjes. Was heel prima en supervriendelijke bediening. AANRADER!
