Great food for a reasonable price. Nice location. Order everything yourself at the bar, and it's delivered to your table.

Het is een mooi gelegen eenvoudig restaurant. We vonden de kroketten heerlijk, de koffie prima en de hond kreeg een bak water en een koekje.

Dogs and children are welcome and are provided with drinking water and play equipment. You can also sit there and have coffee and cake. If you don't have a dog or child.....but then you have to like them.

Long waiting times and closing at 4 p.m

Apple pie was probably cheap pastry from the supermarket. Strawberry cake was also disappointing (few strawberries). Preferably not to use the toilet.

Enjoy a walk in the dunes and then have something to drink and eat. Playground in front of the terrace, nice with children. Simple but fine.

Customer friendliness is nil, waiting at the cash register to order and the staff doesn't even look at you, cake with strawberries.... well from 1 strawberry to 6 slices on a cheap cake. Coffee... hmm it had the taste of..... opening hours on Sunday open until 5 p.m. but the terrace was cleared at 4.15 p.m.... atmosphere of... salting up. Advice: bring your own coffee, cake and a dress and enjoy the beautiful surroundings... Then you get value for your money 😉

Don't expect fancy food at all. After a walk with our dog, we just have an omelette (uitsmijter), vegetable croquettes, or a roll. And don't complain about the apple pie, as if every restaurant bakes its own pie and needs to employ a barista. Besides, it's clearly stated that the place closes at 4 p.m. during the winter, and that whining about the owner needs to be toned down a bit. Utrecht residents simply get the message across.

Nice little restaurant; we had cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Order inside (drinks and cold dishes are included). They have an outdoor terrace where you can relax. There's also a playground.

In Soest we are used to catering establishments stuck in the 90s, but this is really the worst place ever. I understand that the owners will soon retire and want to keep as much as possible from the transfer, I especially hope for something contemporary and more valuable for the area.

It's a pity that you have to sit outside on the terrace with your dog. It was quite chilly today. Smooth service, a cookie for the dog and we really enjoyed the apple pie!

As if you are back in the 80s. A bouncer as it should be. Plain, large normal sandwiches, 3 yolk-mirror-dripping eggs baked with normal cheese, normal ham, lettuce with gherkin, cucumber, tomato and 1 piece of canned pineapple... DELICIOUS. And Buissman cappucino in a disposable cup where you can still taste the lumps of powder. Order your food at the cash register and return the tray. Everything as it should be in a forest hut.....

Nice spot after a walk. Too bad the coffee was awful (machine coffee) and the apple pie was frozen and factory-made. Lots of untapped potential.

Prima gegeten, vriendelijke bediening. Het was niet druk. Zelf binnen bestellen en dan wordt het aan de tafel gebracht buiten. De honden krijgen een hondenkoekje. Fijn terras aan de bosrand en speeltuin.

Defrosted factory apple pie; coffee and tea in paper cups and staff already looking at you at 15:15. In short, a once in a lifetime experience. Just look further if you want something more delicious.

Open until 5:00 PM on Sundays. The kitchen closes at 3:45 PM, so no more hot dishes can be ordered. And at 4:00 PM, they're already clearing away the tables and chairs from those who have finished their meal. Then, at 4:30 PM, we're asked to please finish our drinks. Strange... The hospitality was nowhere to be found, nor was the staff's enthusiasm.

The food was nothing special. Frozen apple pie for €3.75 p.s. The worst was the unfriendliness of the owner! We had eaten outside. Then suddenly it started to rain so we went inside. She asked what we wanted. We weren't welcome to take shelter if we weren't going to consume anything. I said we are her customers because we just had something to eat on the terrace. Her response was that terrace is not the same inside. If you sit inside, you also have to order something inside. Such a shame, because the location is perfect next to the dunes. We will never come back and advise against it to everyone!

Wat een onvriendelijk uitbuiter waren er met een groep van 15 personen wachtte even dan de gehele groep compleet was met bestellen Terwijl enkel van ons al een bestellingen hadden gedaan Eerst mevrouw zeer grote mond tegen oude mensen die snel een slokje water uit eigen drinkflesje nam .Gevraagd omdat niet op een Andere manier gezegd kan worden daar de klant koning is .Nee ze ging weg met een hele grote mond .Even later de uitbuiter zelf eerst tegen een kennis grote monden veel geschreeuw midden op het terras had niet snel genoeg wat besteld terwijl die man al een uitsmijter op had gegeten .Meneer aan zijn verstand proberen te brengen. dat je zo niet met klanten opgaat Daarop werden we op een zeer onprettige manier gezegd dat we er nooit meer welkom zijn .Jammer voor de eigenaar van dit bedrijf zou zeer snel een Andere uitbater zoeken voor dat er helemaal niemand meer komt

Een erg mooie locatie. Maar.....de uitbaters, zowel de man als de vrouw lijken wel uit een achterstandsbuurt te komen. Zo onvriendelijk heb ik zelden gezien. Ze hebben het idee van de mc donalds. Voor minimaal 10 euro bestellen, naar binnen werken en wegwezen. De kwaliteit bij de Mac is beter. Tot drie keer toe een aanvaring gehad. Maar goed de eigenaar heeft zichzelf goed voor paal gezet met z'n geschreeuw op een bijna vol terras. Ook de bediening laat te wensen over met die minderjarige meisjes. Hopelijk komen er snel andere uitbater op dan komen we weer langs. Met deze schreeuwmeeuwen komen we er nooit weer.

Allebei de eigenaren zijn asociaal, €30 gespendeerd bij deze tent en het is eten en wegwezen. 30 minuten in totaal geweest. Als je hier in de buurt bent, zou ik hier echt niet heen gaan.

Sorry, but this is not worth the name brasserie. We got here before half past four. Mapps was open until 5am. Staff unfriendly and not helpful at all. The woman in the building was super unfriendly and not customer friendly. We were told we could get 5 things on a to go basis. Well that's exactly what you have to do here. GO and never come back. 1 star is still too many, but you can't go without it.

Last Thursday we sat on the terrace of this Brasserie with my husband and daughter. It just wasn't all that. This concerns self-service, you must place your order inside and take it with you. We ordered cappuccino with apple pie + whipped cream. The menus were dirty/rotten. The cappuccino was scorching hot, the foam was hard to find. It was not a nice cup of coffee. The apple pie... a frozen apple pie. Some pieces were still cold and unfortunately a lot of the skins were still there. The forks are made of wood (personally I think this is terrible). I opened my mouth on the fork (there were serrations on one side). The service... well. It couldn't have been a good afternoon. No interaction when leaving the terrace. Pity! Area; a playground in front of the brasserie with many stray dogs and smoking parents. There was dog poop here and there, it smelled awful. All in all; not to be repeated.

We have always enjoyed coffee and cake, a drink with bitterballen or a croquette sandwich here Dogs are welcomed with water and a biscuit. The terrace is located behind the dunes with a view of a small playground. We always receive a friendly welcome and service here. When it's busy you have to wait a little longer, but is that so bad? The terrace does indeed close at 4 p.m., so this must be taken into account. As far as we are concerned, this is a great place to relax in a beautiful nature reserve. The entrance gate to the terrace is opened for disabled people.

The terrace is great. Dogs are welcome, which is great. However, the operators really don't know what to do with it. The lady has a face like an earworm and is downright unfriendly. The tent closes at 4 p.m. sharp and the chair is pulled out from under your buttocks if the grumpy faces of both of you haven't scared you away yet. When it's busy, they absolutely can't handle the work. Old fat for the fries, sandwiches that are bought from the jumbo, and so on. In short, a place that lends itself to being taken over by people who know their stuff.

The weather was nice, so it was busy in the dunes, but even though they said it would take a while before your food was ready due to the crowds, they were faster than expected in serving it. Cheers.

Cute forest hut, nice atmosphere in the middle of the woods and with a nice terrace. Visited during a walk through the Soesterduinen. Coffee, tea and chocolate from the company vending machine. Prices acceptable when you consider what it costs to keep such an accommodation in operation.

Just what you want after a long walk. Tasty affordable sandwiches. Don't expect anything fancy, just good old fashioned :).

Such a shame that in the colder weather, after a walk with your dog, you are not allowed to enter here. That will probably save a lot of customers, but maybe the owner is just fine with that?

Heel fijn en gezellig etablissement. Het gebouw is gemaakt door Letten d.m.v. vol Grenen. Zowel de eieren als de kroketten waren heerlijk. Koffie was goed op temperatuur en had een heerlijke crème laag. Service zou ik omschrijven als uitmuntend; vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Niet echt n romantische plek zo aan de weg naast n tankstation.....maar heerlijk eten, geweldige bediening en uiterst smaakvolle inrichting. Niks mis mee!

Perfect rustpunt na een fijne wandeling door bos en zand. Hond is welkom op het terras. Schone toiletten. Honden drinkpunt aanwezig.

Hier wären wir ohne unser Hobby Geocaching wohl nie hingekommen. Großartig der Blick, wenn man plötzlich die weite Dünenlandschaft sieht 😍 Nach unserer Wanderung haben wir diese Brasserie entdeckt und uns mit Pommes und Frikandel gestärkt. Lecker!!! Die Besitzerin war sooo lieb und hat mir sogar eine Zigarette spendiert, da ich meine vergessen hatte. 😍😍 Diesen Ort kann ich nur jedem empfehlen!!!!

Goed vertoeven en je kan vooraf of achteraf lekker wandelen in de duinen.

Heerlijke uitsmijter en erg gastvrij!

Vreselijke overspannen medewerkster die op een gegeven moment stond te gillen op het terras. Nooit meer voor ons.

Wij hadden de ervaring al eerder als gezin om hier weg gejaagd te worden, maar vandaag spande toch echt de kroon. Als ouders gingen we op een leeg terras zitten en namen een kop koffie. Er voegde zich een andere ouder die een stoel erbij pakte opmerking "stoel op tillen". Nog 2 ouders die nog een kopje thee aan het drinken waren. "Of de rest nog van plan was om iets te bestellen. Dat het geen buurthuis was maar een terras", omdat 2 andere ouders nog niets besteld hadden. En als klapper wilde ze voor een groep van 20 kinderen die op kamp waren geen patat bakken omdat hun ouders onbeschoft waren. Gelukkig konden de kinderen bij een andere cafetaria in de buurt hun patat eten. Hier komen wij nooit meer om een euro uit te geven.

Saaie lokatie. Gesteggel over een tafel die te dicht bij zijn auto stond! Vriendelijk is een te groot woord. Kom hier liever niet meer!

The location is premium, it's the only place for kilometers in Soest Ter Duin (hope it spelt it correctly). We got there with one of the White Terrier groups we belong to. There were also other dog groups there too. One of "our" dogs in the group was barking and the owner told us to keep our dogs under control because of the other visitors also on the terrace. We understood her point but the way we were asked was not appreciated. There was a long queue coming from the till were you had to give you order. They had 3 people working in that area but (in my opinion) they didn't have a good system for handling orders. I think once they work something out they will definitely have better service. We didn't eat anything so I cannot give a rating on the food.

Hier een kopje koffie gedronken op terras. Zelf binnen bestellen, meteen betalen en mee naar buiten nemen. Extreem vieze aanmaakautomaten koffie, waar je toch nog 2,50 voor betaalt. In een papieren bekertje. Prima plekje, maar neem gewoon een frisje.

Hier geweest tijdens een zonnige dag eind april. Het terras heeft een systeem waar je zelfstandig je eten moet halen, hierdoor was het terras leeg en stond iedereen in de rij. Eenmaal binnen aangekomen hingen de spinnenwebben aan de balie en de lampen. De wc aan de achterkant van het gebouw was erg smerig en was geen wc papier aanwezig.

Eenvoudig maar lekker eten, laagdrempelig - zelf binnen je eten bestellen en dan brengen ze het, en de hond mag mee op het terras. Vriendelijke bediening.

Heerlijk met onze kleindochters een ijsje gegeten.

Prima rustpunt tijdens een wandeling. Vriendelijk personeel (wie goed doet, goed ontmoet) en goede producten. 👌👍aanrader.

Herstel, excuus: Een prachtige restaurant op een prachtige locatie. Het alleen recht van een esthablishment aldaar zal in mijn optiek altijd open moeten zijn. Ondergewaardeerd. Een goeie bonen gemalen koffie to go om zodoende de prachtige Soesterduinen te mogen aanschouwen.

Het is een prima uitvalsbasis om te gaan wandelen in de duinen, maar verwacht hier geen kwaliteit. Alles is matig maar de prijs valt ook mee. Geen water in het toilet. De meeste wandelaars komen met hun hond(en). Wel gezellig hoor.

Drinken was prima qua prijskwaliteit. Gezellig om na een wandeling lekker in het zonnetje op het terras te zitten.

Alles halen aan de bar, nattige appeltaart, uit de vriezer? Niet super gezellige uitstraling maar wel goede chocolade melk.

Als je lekker met de hond over de duinen bent wezen lopen, is dit een heerlijk plekje om even een bakkie koffie te doen (honden mogen helaas niet naar binnen, buiten terras mogen ze wel) ook voor een lekker hapje eten kan je hier terecht. Al met al een prima locatie! 👍

Viel tegen voor de locatie! Koffie uit een automaat en als je gaat bestellen hangt er alleen wat van het menu buiten of op de kaarten op de tafels. En er waren weinig opties met ijs voor dit warme weer, best jammer!

Heerlijk even bijgekomen nadat de honden lekker los geweest zijn op de zandvlakte. Honden zijn hier ook welkom.

Met man en ouders geluncht. Lekker gelegen in het bos. Het pad wat wij namen was niet echt rolstoel/rollator geschikt, maar we zijn er gekomen. Prima prijs. Binnen bestellen en dan wordt het netjes op het terras bezorgd.

Viel erg tegen! Zo’n mooie locatie, waar je zoveel moois van kan maken. “Verse appeltaart” verwacht ik heerlijk verse appeltaart, dit was de standaard per dozijn ingekochte, uit de vriezer gehaalde appeltaart. Vork erin en het water komt eronder uit.. met standaard slagroom uit de supermarktbus. Menu kaarten op tafel, maar geen service aan tafel, dus binnen in de rij om te bestellen. Het is zondag, open tot 17:00, nee, bordje op de deur “vandaag om 16:00 gesloten”. Ik vond de jonge meiden in de bediening wel vriendelijk en de bakken water verspreidt overal met drinken voor de hond ook top, maar voor een “brasserie” op deze lokatie had ik veel meer verwacht, erg jammer!

De plek is super, zelf afhalen snap ik ook. Maar de koffie is niet best. Automaten koffie, zo jammer. Wel snel maar mag eigenlijk geen koffie meer heten. Viel dus erg tegen.
