Super nice hardworking people. Great atmosphere!

We loved this brasserie, a very warm welcome, food with good value for money. A little special mention for the restaurant manager who was born in France and who was able to advise us 😊. Go there with your eyes closed!!

It has been a place I have enjoyed coming to for years. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Recommended!

Ordered a latte and cappuccino this afternoon with a relationship. 5.90 for the latte is way out of proportion. Of course this price is on the menu, but the price/quality ratio is completely lost. The atmosphere is also overbearing, constantly treating guests with sweetie, darling, etc. is certainly out of date and inappropriate. I certainly do not recommend this “brasserie”.

I think they have become very expensive: 1 ginger tea + 1 mint tea is 10 euros. I came here a few times a year, but this was the last time. W. the tomcat

My wife and I came to this brasserie which is simply incredible. The staff and owners are adorable, everyone took great care of us, it was an extraordinary experience for us, we will return there every time we stay in Amsterdam. The setting is wonderful and very well placed. I recommend this place and the coffee which is clearly the best in Amsterdam 😉 see you soon.

To be honest, I was not expecting much from the middle of Osdorp when it comes to good coffee. I had to wait for the kids and decided to try it... Wow, just excellent. Really.

During our Amsterdam visit, my wife and I had lunch at this wonderful gem of a place. Since it was really hot, I ordered an iced coffee and it was truly the best I have ever had! Our meal was tasty and hearty and the staff were really lovely to deal with too.

Cozy lunchroom with very friendly and helpful staff. My girlfriend and I had lunch here several times. I always have a sandwich with eggs, cheese and bacon. That's always good. You can enjoy various dishes, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and pastries at a reasonable price. The quality of the food and the size of the portions is very good. This restaurant has a nice system on every table there is a QR code. If you scan it, you can place your order with your phone. But that wasn't necessary because there was always someone to take our order. This establishment is located in such a way that it immediately catches the eye. It really resembles a round conservatory. The light is good, because it only has glass sliding doors that are opened when it’s nice weather. You also have an outside terrace that is well occupied when the weather is nice. The majority of visitors are middle-aged. The interior is not really modern. It is very important to me that the restrooms of an eatery are clean. The men's was clean. I don't know if that was the case with the ladies.

Ik heb nog nooit van mijn leven meegemaakt dat als er wordt gevraagd; wat vond u van de bestelling? Ik dan probeer aan te geven dat je bij een broodje gezond voor 9,90!!! Groente verwacht zoals tomaat, komkommer en ei. De eigenaar kwam er meteen aan en vroeg: wat is er schatjes (heel apart om zo klanten aan te spreken) en bij nogmaals uitleg dat ik de groente miste voor de prijs begon hij te schreeuwen over de belastingdienst en de prijs. Ook vroeg hij hoeveel ik verdiende want hij verdiende 5 euro per uur. Hij bleef maar schreeuwen terwijl wij de rekening vroegen om zo snel mogelijk af te rekenen en weg te gaan. Het was qua eten al echt niet te eten! En dan qua personeel eigenaar heb ik dit nog nooit meegemaakt, echt schandalig!! Ik durfde niet eens meer aan te geven dat het eten niet te vreten was maar bij deze. Ik hoop echt dat mensen beseffen hoe duur de prijs is en al helemaal voor de kwaliteit wat je krijgt!

Service isn't too good. Also a mojito and pastry. Pastries were obviously old and very dry. When I pointed it out, the waitress didn't really care. The mojito was not bad but certainly not a mojito. It was a little sprite mixed with water and a lot of lemon juice, so it was a very sour drink.

On King's Day, I walked into the brasserie in despair because my baby was crying. Didn't have any milk and asked if they had semi-skimmed milk. Received this completely free of charge! People with their hearts in the right place, I felt so emotional with this sweet act!

Although a born Egyptian, the owner is an Amsterdammer through and through and a perfect host. His wife also creates a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere. Great for a quick coffee or a nice drink after a shopping afternoon with friends.

It's a lovely place to eat, and the owners are such warm, welcoming people. You don't feel like you're going there to just eat but more like you're visiting a family members house. Oh, and the macchiato is a must try

One of the best place in area. The people working there are so nice, make you feel at home. You can get full plate of food less than 10 euros. Love this place

Really lovely place in the middle of the town square, the staff was incredibly friendly and they even gave me one of their beer glasses! I recommend the chicken ciabatta!

This is, hands down, my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. It was one of the first places my partner and I went to when we immigrated, and we now go at least weekly. Why? Besides the amazing food and coffee, it feels like family. This is a family run restaurant, and it shows in the love that goes into every dish and the way they treat their customers. The owner is greeting people by name, Zoey (main server) is cracking jokes with well known visitors, and even the kitchen staff give a friendly wave when you come in. I don't have to be homesick because I have this place. All that aside, the ciabatta beefstuk is pure perfection, and we love their Caesar salad. And you can't pass by the scrumptious desserts in the display case!

Absolutely delicious, the best burger I have had in a long time. Also it was a proper Hamburger and not a beef burger. We also had a ham and cheese toastie and a portion of Bitterballen. Lush. The coffee was excellent too. Thank you to the team for great food and service. We 100% recommend Brasserie De Serre. 👍

hoi geluncht vandaag bij de serre ik had een broodje met biefstuk teriyaki was prime zat in een leuk pannetje en was genoeg mijn vriendin had een uitsmijter ham kaas ook goed verzorgt vriendelijke bediening en de eigenaar is ook aardige man kom hier zeker nog eens terug gr peter en janice

Lekker Portuguese Bifana (broodje hamlap) gegeten was heel lekker geef hem geen 5 maar 6 sterren, obrigado

Samen met moeders en oma hier even geluncht. Prachtige sfeer en super gezellig en behulpzaam personeel. Het eten was ongekend lekker. Dit is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!
