We ate with a party of 6 adults. The food was all very tasty, but we ordered a meal for 4 people that included fries, and we received only one small bowl. I thought that was very little. So we had to order more right away.

The nachos weren't good and the cheese didn't taste good, but otherwise it was fine.

Not worth repeating. Carpaccio one without cheese and pine nuts. One dish had to be sent back due to the wrong sauce. Too little sauce on your meat. Sweet potato fries arrived late because they hadn't been opened. Sparibs: one had four ribs and the other only two. Hamburger burnt on one side. Besides this, we were fed up with "is everything to your liking?", especially at the moment you're just taking your first sip of your drink. This lady came to ask a bit too often. Then another one came with the same question, and then I couldn't keep my mouth shut anymore and told her that it wasn't to my liking. It is not worth the money; my advice is to go somewhere else. Nothing is even offered as compensation.

The garden and the floor have now been made completely level, allowing me to enter without any problems in my wheelchair. I have tremendous admiration and respect for this. Nice place, beautiful spot. Had a delicious lunch and the service was top-notch. View from the terrace over the water and the cottages. Dogs are allowed on the terrace; there is even a water bowl. A nice spot for after a walk. Parking is available at the restaurant, in the parking lot downstairs, or for free at the Aldi (4-minute walk). Highly recommended.

Their only obsession is closing at 9 pm. We hadn't even arrived when they told us we couldn't order appetizers because they had to close. Only one main course was available. The night before, we couldn't eat because we arrived at 8:30 pm and the kitchen was already closed… a shame because the food is good.

An incredibly cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The service is very friendly. We had two delicious meals; compliments to the chef. In terms of price, there is something for everyone. Dinner ranges from 22 to 35 euros. If you ever want to eat here, I definitely recommend it.

Lovely brasserie with extremely friendly and hospitable service and delicious dishes on the menu that give your holiday just that little bit extra! The service was also quick and good when picking up food. The one time we came for lunch, we were a bit confused by the late opening of the kitchen, but the times we had dinner and ordered takeout more than made up for it! Upon arrival at the park, we decided to order food here. What immediately stood out was that prices on the menu are listed with "from" everywhere. However, when settling the bill, you end up paying considerably more than the price listed on the takeaway menu, for both lunch and dinner. If a dish is advertised starting at €10 and you end up paying €13.75, I find that quite misleading. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the dinner either. For two people, we paid well over €60 for takeaway, but the portions were very small. The fries were not even a third full for two people. When we went back to point this out, we got the impression that this was considered quite normal and we were given rather strange looks. It is a shame, because due to the unclear pricing and small portions, we found the price-quality ratio to be very disappointing.

Although the menu stated that we would receive vegetables as a side with all main courses, we did not. Also, the so-called ‘artisanal fries’ that came with my burger were nothing more than about 5 measly chips. You get nothing for your money here.

Delicious breakfast! We come here often. I asked for an extra slice of bread today. I received a much smaller slice than was originally included with the breakfast. The bread is delicious. However, that left a very nasty aftertaste when I saw the bill. They have the nerve to charge €3.25 for a tiny slice. The comprehensive breakfast costs €14.50.

We arranged a Father's Day breakfast today because we really liked the regular breakfast... unfortunately, I can't say the same about the Father's Day breakfast. A piece of egg measuring 4x5cm, a wedge of pancake 3cm wide and 8cm long, yogurt in a shallow plastic container 5cm in diameter with 1cm of yogurt in it... furthermore, I find the cups of coffee very small... it came with salmon which was just enough for half a single-sided roll.... I wonder what was special about this for fathers; it seemed more like a Mother's Day breakfast, which often makes lots of small bites look nice. I don't need this again, and it was a major disappointment.

Nice place for kids and dogs :) We had some tasty sandwiches. We had a 'Stap&Hap' deal. Something nice with coffee, an 8km walk, and a sandwich on the way back. The dogs were also allowed to take a biscuit from the dog bar ;)

Had a delicious Mother's Day brunch! Nice atmosphere, and a lovely place to sit outside!

Beautifully situated brasserie where you can enjoy a good meal. The staff serves quickly and is friendly.

Last week, we had lunch here with family. We were a somewhat larger group, which we had indicated in advance. Tables had been reserved for us, but this turned out to be a bit too cramped for our party. So, we had to move some tables and chairs around a bit ourselves. The staff were otherwise friendly and even open to a chat, but some family members did have to wait longer for their order and had to ask several times where theirs was. Nevertheless, we all enjoyed a tasty lunch, and some even enjoyed a delicious piece of flan.

Fine brasserie. Nothing special on the menu, but a nice place to sit.

I ordered a no-beef burger. The burger itself was tasty, but the bun was from the supermarket, the cheapest one on the shelf. The vegetable garnish was meager. Furthermore, there were some salty chips. The fries were decent. I thought 18 euros was a steep price for the whole experience. The wait staff understood what I meant and passed it on to the kitchen. That was it. Afterwards, we didn't bother to say anything more about the desserts. But these did not match what was on the menu. The crème brûlée with liqueur and speculoos ice cream turned out to contain a hint of liqueur, and the ice cream was just vanilla. The Dame Blanche did not contain the popping chocolate as stated on the menu. The service was friendly and the decor is fine in itself. But the choice for vegetarians is not very extensive, so you won't see me going back there for a veggie burger anytime soon.

The coffee and hot chocolate arrived quickly and tasted fine. For 3 slices of apple pie, however, we had to wait well over 45 minutes. When we inquired about the status after half an hour, we received a very rude response that it was busy and we just had to wait. It is a shame that it has to go this way, given the beautiful location.

Lovely place to have lunch after a nice walk on the Brunssummerheide. Dogs are allowed, which makes it all the more sociable. The spicy chicken sandwich is amazing. Just like the apple pancake!

We've eaten at this restaurant several times, both for breakfast and dinner. It's always okay, but today we noticed something. It was our first time with our four-year-old, so we saw the children's play area for the first time 😱 But let's start with the positive... The breakfast we had was impeccable; it was delicious, with plenty of variety, so it was perfect. The customer service is also excellent; you receive a polite welcome, and they regularly ask if everything is to your liking. We were asked if we wanted to sit upstairs because there was also a play area. We thought, "Great," but I was genuinely shocked when I walked into the play area. Literally everything in the room was broken or dirty. For example: there were two play kitchens with all the shelves loose and no accessories, and there were also a lot of foam blocks that, as Rob Geus would so aptly put it, had long since died. There were also a few play mats, blocks, and dolls that looked really dirty and brown. In short, a message to the owner: please put down some new equipment and throw away this old stuff, because children should really be allowed to play here more. The overall atmosphere is 4 stars, but the children's area is 1 star.

We ordered two lattes, but they tasted like warm milk instead of latte. We mentioned this to the waitress, who brought them back. He returned with the same ones. He said it was latte. It's a shame they don't take customer complaints seriously. Is it so bad to make new regulars? We didn't finish them. This was the second time it was disappointing. We won't be back; this was the last time.

Our visit to this restaurant began rather uneventfully, but with a certain amount of anticipation. We were a group and had reserved a table in advance, so we assumed everything would run reasonably smoothly. While the first impression wasn't disastrous, it wasn't particularly inviting either. The decor looked worn in places, some tables and chairs showed visible signs of use, and overall, the atmosphere lacked coziness. Nevertheless, we took our seats, hoping that at least the service and the food would be up to par. After we sat down, it took quite a while before any of the staff even came to our table. The menus were placed on the table without much friendliness, and we didn't feel truly welcome. Our drink order also took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't full at the time. This already gave the impression that the staff's organization and attentiveness left much to be desired. After we ordered our food, a considerable amount of time passed again without anything happening. Meanwhile, we observed other tables also trying to get the server's attention. When the food finally arrived, almost everyone received their meal—except for one person in our group. This person was completely forgotten. Initially, we assumed the dish would arrive shortly, but after several more minutes, it became clear that the order had obviously not been taken or forwarded. What was particularly disappointing was that no one on the staff noticed this mistake on their own. Only after we pointed it out several times did they react. The reaction itself was underwhelming: a brief, curt apology, without any genuine regret or sense of responsibility. No explanation was given as to how the error could have occurred, nor was any attempt made to defuse the situation appropriately. The forgotten dish was eventually taken again, but the wait essentially started all over. Meanwhile, the others were already eating, which effectively broke up the entire table. Dining together was no longer possible, which is especially frustrating when dining out with a group. The person affected sat for a long time without food and had to watch the others eat, which significantly dampened the mood. When the meal was finally served, the quality was mediocre at best. The food was lukewarm, rather bland, and appeared carelessly presented. After the long wait, one would have expected at least above-average quality, but this was not the case. In addition, there were other minor issues, such as missing cutlery and empty drink glasses, which were ignored for an extended period. What was particularly disappointing was that the restaurant made absolutely no effort to rectify the mistake. There was neither a complimentary drink, nor a discount, nor any other form of compensation. The incident was not even mentioned again when paying. Instead, the bill was presented without comment, as if nothing had happened. This behavior gave the impression that customer satisfaction is not a high priority. In summary, the restaurant visit was very disappointing overall. While some of the food was edible, the service, organization, and handling of mistakes fell far short of expectations. Completely forgetting about a person is a serious shortcoming, exacerbated by the unprofessional service. The numerous waits, the lack of attention, and the absence of understanding left a lasting negative impression on our evening. While this restaurant theoretically has potential, a return visit is hardly conceivable without significant improvements in service and organization.

We have been there twice but never again, the first time I had a sandwich that was still frozen, the second time we sat under the stairs where people were walking up with very full shoes that fell on our table, and the staff was very unfriendly.

We had lunch and dinner today as camping guests. The service was fast and friendly. The food was more than excellent. My only complaint is that the 200-gram steak would have cost no more than 150, but everything else was more than adequate.

The salmon tartare was delicious, and the goat cheese toastie was surprisingly good! Highly recommended!

We came for lunch, and the food was quite delicious. Prices are reasonable. Meat dishes include a mix of pork and beef; There are no meat dishes that contain only beef. We also had a fish dish, which I highly recommend. There is ample parking.

We had lunch with two people, and both had balkenbrij. It was dry, thin, overcooked, and had absolutely no flavor. The staff even came to ask if everything was to our liking. We pointed out what was wrong, but nothing was done about it. It wasn't cheap either. We'll never see them again.

How not to do it? This is where you need to be. Charging 11 euros for two croquettes on a roll with salad in a 2cm x 2cm bowl. Limburg mustard turns out to be French. And if you ask about it, you'll tell the boss. If you don't know the difference between French and Limburg mustard, you better quit as a chef. And that salad. How dare you pass that on without blushing? To top it all off, they also charged 8 euros too much. Back inside to get it back. I'd say maybe start an orange stand and practice from there.

The atmosphere is good, the food is delicious, but there are a few things to note. They're very frugal with vegetables. There are plenty of fries, but they're very dry. The menu on the website doesn't match the menu in the brasserie.

The menu read: 2Share deluxe appetizers for 2 people. We were charged twice the price for the deluxe appetizers. We had also made a reservation for 2 people, but despite an email, they couldn't find us in the reservation, and we were placed in a corner with a lot of children. The stroller was leaning against the table, and we were told we could stay as long as we wanted. All the tables had a "reserved" sign, but not the one where we were supposed to be seated...all in all. Finally, we were placed at a small table near the bar. Everything still had to be set.

I ordered onion soup and a schnitzel. The onion soup was bland and tasteless, the schnitzel, which turned out to have been deep-fried, was rock-hard and tasteless, and the mushrooms on it were practically useless. All in all, not recommended. When I paid, they had double-counted the food; I thought the price was way too high. I confronted the man at the cash register about it; you're right, sorry. That means checking your cash register. The only good thing was the pie, which was tasty.

Beautiful surroundings, easily accessible, and ample parking. We ordered a champagne breakfast for €19. The orange juice that came with it was from a carton. When we asked if it was fresh or from a carton, we were told, "This is our fresh orange juice." When we then said it was from a carton, they reluctantly admitted that it was. The breakfast itself was fine, but a bit sparse for a "champagne breakfast." There was prosecco instead of champagne, which is understandable given the price, but you shouldn't call it a champagne breakfast. When we were asked at checkout if everything was to our liking and we indicated that it wasn't, they didn't follow up. It was more a polite question than an openness to constructive criticism. We paid almost €39 for breakfast for two people, but it was definitely our last time there. Not recommended.

Today I visited Brasserie De Uitvlucht for the first time. It's situated in the beautiful surroundings of the old Zeekoelen. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was superb. In short, a place to visit again in the future.

We booked a bite to eat, what a beautiful location! From the terrace, you really feel like you're abroad. We enjoyed delicious warm apple pie, and upon returning, a delicious sandwich. The service was friendly, but above all, a beautiful spot along the Brunssummerheide!

HALF-FULL GLASS OF WINE - We were given a glass of wine that was clearly underfilled. After we commented on it, they said: "We always do it that way." Other guests also complained about this during our visit. Perhaps it's time to adjust the glass, or erase the line on the glass if you want to be a bit unusual (frugal). A bit of a letdown.

We had a delicious meal with our children, ages 6 and 3. The kids received a fun surprise box with fries and a snack, a lollipop, and a toy. The service was also very friendly! The decor is cozy, and the terrace was packed. Despite that, the service was good and fast.

Terrible. The boss/manager was completely disrespectful and rude during the wedding. They were chaotic, didn't keep their appointments, and the food was lukewarm... unfortunately, you have to give one star to post this review. But that's one star too many... Advice: never go there. Avoid this restaurant!

Disappointing experience – unclear prices and unfriendly staff Our visit was unfortunately anything but satisfactory. The prices on the menu were not clearly stated – a lot of information was missing or was so unclearly formulated that we only knew what the actual costs were when we paid. We found this very opaque and unfriendly to customers. When we asked about this, we were brushed off in a rather unfriendly manner by the staff, instead of getting a clear or helpful explanation. The overall attitude was cool and not service-oriented. We attach great importance to clear communication and respectful service – both of which we missed here. Therefore, we will not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

In a word perfect, choose the asparagus they are delicious!!!

The restaurant is located in the EuroParcs Vacation park. That information alone should put everything else into perspective. The food was well served and was OK. The service was immaculate and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, warm decorated interior and had a alpine chalet appearance. I would definitely come back.

I would avoid this place. It's a nice location, but they definitely can't manage it. Carpaccio sandwich is simply a lettuce sandwich with 2 mini slices of carpaccios. Had to wait 2 hours for the food. There were no fries with the patties and burgers for dessert. Cold tea and arguing every time we indicated that it was incomplete instead of solving it.

Celebrated my mother's birthday this weekend, the preparations, wishes and the day itself were a great success for my mother with attention and personal commitment. She lived to be 90. Thank you team Uitvlucht👌

Nice beer with some snacks on the terrace, after a while. swapped tables to sit in the sun a bit more. Once home we realized that we had paid a lot (almost double what was supposed to be charged), we immediately called and told them which table we had been sitting at and what had happened, it was very busy so we called back in the evening and were then allowed to email a photo of the debit and immediately received the overpaid money back. We had hoped for a nice, pleasant evening, given the location and the atmosphere we thought that would be fine. Once inside and at the table, things went wrong repeatedly. Taking the order went quite smoothly, but serving the starter took more than an hour. The starter looked good and everything was to your liking so far. A beer and wine pairing was ordered with the food, unfortunately we had to ask for the matching drinks ourselves. We thought it could still happen, it slowly became busier in the restaurant. Until at some point we all ran out of drinks. Back to the bar to get drinks, the employee said that the drinks were supposed to be taken at the table as service. So she put her money where her mouth was and came to take the order. Her colleague brought the drinks, but dropped the tray over our companion, because many of us also come from the catering industry, we know that this is very annoying and is never intentional, so this was bad luck. We think it is a shame that we then have to go to the bar again after fifteen minutes of waiting because the drinks that were tampered with were not delivered. The main course then came after another hour of waiting. Almost all of us ordered the steak, medium and medium rare. The steaks we received were anything but medium or medium rare, they were just warm, except for 1 steak, which was even frozen. We sent this steak back to the kitchen, we got the same piece of meat again and it was still not medium cooked... because the rest had now finished the main course, we decided not to say anything more and just eat it. When paying we indicated that a lot had gone wrong during the meal and what they wanted to do about it... fortunately we were allowed a hot drink at their expense the next day... this was really coffee, chocolate or tea, we had to pay for the whipped cream ourselves... 25 cents... in any case, we will never come here again

Ordering a simple French fry is not possible! Only in connection with meat. It's a shame if you want to eat vegetarian. Not even when asked. It's the easiest thing in the world to offer fries if you already have them on hand for other dishes. Plus, easy money to earn. How inflexible do you want to be? Very disappointing.
