We have been there twice but never again, the first time I had a sandwich that was still frozen, the second time we sat under the stairs where people were walking up with very full shoes that fell on our table, and the staff was very unfriendly.

We had lunch and dinner today as camping guests. The service was fast and friendly. The food was more than excellent. My only complaint is that the 200-gram steak would have cost no more than 150, but everything else was more than adequate.

The salmon tartare was delicious, and the goat cheese toastie was surprisingly good! Highly recommended!

We came for lunch, and the food was quite delicious. Prices are reasonable. Meat dishes include a mix of pork and beef; There are no meat dishes that contain only beef. We also had a fish dish, which I highly recommend. There is ample parking.

We had lunch with two people, and both had balkenbrij. It was dry, thin, overcooked, and had absolutely no flavor. The staff even came to ask if everything was to our liking. We pointed out what was wrong, but nothing was done about it. It wasn't cheap either. We'll never see them again.

How not to do it? This is where you need to be. Charging 11 euros for two croquettes on a roll with salad in a 2cm x 2cm bowl. Limburg mustard turns out to be French. And if you ask about it, you'll tell the boss. If you don't know the difference between French and Limburg mustard, you better quit as a chef. And that salad. How dare you pass that on without blushing? To top it all off, they also charged 8 euros too much. Back inside to get it back. I'd say maybe start an orange stand and practice from there.

The atmosphere is good, the food is delicious, but there are a few things to note. They're very frugal with vegetables. There are plenty of fries, but they're very dry. The menu on the website doesn't match the menu in the brasserie.

The menu read: 2Share deluxe appetizers for 2 people. We were charged twice the price for the deluxe appetizers. We had also made a reservation for 2 people, but despite an email, they couldn't find us in the reservation, and we were placed in a corner with a lot of children. The stroller was leaning against the table, and we were told we could stay as long as we wanted. All the tables had a "reserved" sign, but not the one where we were supposed to be seated...all in all. Finally, we were placed at a small table near the bar. Everything still had to be set.

I ordered onion soup and a schnitzel. The onion soup was bland and tasteless, the schnitzel, which turned out to have been deep-fried, was rock-hard and tasteless, and the mushrooms on it were practically useless. All in all, not recommended. When I paid, they had double-counted the food; I thought the price was way too high. I confronted the man at the cash register about it; you're right, sorry. That means checking your cash register. The only good thing was the pie, which was tasty.

Not just for the delicious food, but also for the friendly service, always up for a chat. A real treat to visit.

Beautiful surroundings, easily accessible, and ample parking. We ordered a champagne breakfast for €19. The orange juice that came with it was from a carton. When we asked if it was fresh or from a carton, we were told, "This is our fresh orange juice." When we then said it was from a carton, they reluctantly admitted that it was. The breakfast itself was fine, but a bit sparse for a "champagne breakfast." There was prosecco instead of champagne, which is understandable given the price, but you shouldn't call it a champagne breakfast. When we were asked at checkout if everything was to our liking and we indicated that it wasn't, they didn't follow up. It was more a polite question than an openness to constructive criticism. We paid almost €39 for breakfast for two people, but it was definitely our last time there. Not recommended.

Today I visited Brasserie De Uitvlucht for the first time. It's situated in the beautiful surroundings of the old Zeekoelen. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was superb. In short, a place to visit again in the future.

This wooden restaurant has a lovely, large terrace with a beautiful view of the pond and park. We highly recommend it; we'll definitely go back and dine inside.

We booked a bite to eat, what a beautiful location! From the terrace, you really feel like you're abroad. We enjoyed delicious warm apple pie, and upon returning, a delicious sandwich. The service was friendly, but above all, a beautiful spot along the Brunssummerheide!

HALF-FULL GLASS OF WINE - We were given a glass of wine that was clearly underfilled. After we commented on it, they said: "We always do it that way." Other guests also complained about this during our visit. Perhaps it's time to adjust the glass, or erase the line on the glass if you want to be a bit unusual (frugal). A bit of a letdown.

We had a delicious meal with our children, ages 6 and 3. The kids received a fun surprise box with fries and a snack, a lollipop, and a toy. The service was also very friendly! The decor is cozy, and the terrace was packed. Despite that, the service was good and fast.

Fairly good, food was fine only a pity that we ordered ice cream and then heard later that it was gone.

A fantastic restaurant, in my opinion, with excellent cuisine...basic dishes...affordable and well-prepared! A good menu with plenty of dishes and drinks. A lovely and cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. A great play area for children...beautiful hiking area in the "Brunssummer Heide." Highly recommended!

Terrible. The boss/manager was completely disrespectful and rude during the wedding. They were chaotic, didn't keep their appointments, and the food was lukewarm... unfortunately, you have to give one star to post this review. But that's one star too many... Advice: never go there. Avoid this restaurant!

Disappointing experience – unclear prices and unfriendly staff Our visit was unfortunately anything but satisfactory. The prices on the menu were not clearly stated – a lot of information was missing or was so unclearly formulated that we only knew what the actual costs were when we paid. We found this very opaque and unfriendly to customers. When we asked about this, we were brushed off in a rather unfriendly manner by the staff, instead of getting a clear or helpful explanation. The overall attitude was cool and not service-oriented. We attach great importance to clear communication and respectful service – both of which we missed here. Therefore, we will not visit this restaurant again and unfortunately cannot recommend it.

The restaurant is located in the EuroParcs Vacation park. That information alone should put everything else into perspective. The food was well served and was OK. The service was immaculate and friendly. The restaurant itself was clean, warm decorated interior and had a alpine chalet appearance. I would definitely come back.

I would avoid this place. It's a nice location, but they definitely can't manage it. Carpaccio sandwich is simply a lettuce sandwich with 2 mini slices of carpaccios. Had to wait 2 hours for the food. There were no fries with the patties and burgers for dessert. Cold tea and arguing every time we indicated that it was incomplete instead of solving it.

Celebrated my mother's birthday this weekend, the preparations, wishes and the day itself were a great success for my mother with attention and personal commitment. She lived to be 90. Thank you team Uitvlucht👌

Had dinner here for the first time yesterday with my partner for our 2nd anniversary. Through a social deal promotion for a 3-course dinner. And it was really more than successful. We really enjoyed all the delicious food. And we would definitely come back here again. Staff is very friendly and not pushy (fortunately) we have experienced this before elsewhere…

Ended up in this cozy restaurant through a Social Deal and what a wonderful experience it was! Our food consisted of starter, main course and dessert. Everything was served by very friendly staff and the food was very tasty! We also liked the location and will definitely go back!

Nice place for a bite to eat and a drink. Both the ground floor and the upper floor are pleasantly laid out. There is also a large terrace outside. The staff is friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed the food, we were two couples and had a nice chat during dinner. Worth repeating, keep up the good work.

Nice beer with some snacks on the terrace, after a while. swapped tables to sit in the sun a bit more. Once home we realized that we had paid a lot (almost double what was supposed to be charged), we immediately called and told them which table we had been sitting at and what had happened, it was very busy so we called back in the evening and were then allowed to email a photo of the debit and immediately received the overpaid money back. We had hoped for a nice, pleasant evening, given the location and the atmosphere we thought that would be fine. Once inside and at the table, things went wrong repeatedly. Taking the order went quite smoothly, but serving the starter took more than an hour. The starter looked good and everything was to your liking so far. A beer and wine pairing was ordered with the food, unfortunately we had to ask for the matching drinks ourselves. We thought it could still happen, it slowly became busier in the restaurant. Until at some point we all ran out of drinks. Back to the bar to get drinks, the employee said that the drinks were supposed to be taken at the table as service. So she put her money where her mouth was and came to take the order. Her colleague brought the drinks, but dropped the tray over our companion, because many of us also come from the catering industry, we know that this is very annoying and is never intentional, so this was bad luck. We think it is a shame that we then have to go to the bar again after fifteen minutes of waiting because the drinks that were tampered with were not delivered. The main course then came after another hour of waiting. Almost all of us ordered the steak, medium and medium rare. The steaks we received were anything but medium or medium rare, they were just warm, except for 1 steak, which was even frozen. We sent this steak back to the kitchen, we got the same piece of meat again and it was still not medium cooked... because the rest had now finished the main course, we decided not to say anything more and just eat it. When paying we indicated that a lot had gone wrong during the meal and what they wanted to do about it... fortunately we were allowed a hot drink at their expense the next day... this was really coffee, chocolate or tea, we had to pay for the whipped cream ourselves... 25 cents... in any case, we will never come here again

Ordering a simple French fry is not possible! Only in connection with meat. It's a shame if you want to eat vegetarian. Not even when asked. It's the easiest thing in the world to offer fries if you already have them on hand for other dishes. Plus, easy money to earn. How inflexible do you want to be? Very disappointing.

Steak had to be well-done, but the blood was still dripping from it. There were 5 of us, each dish included mayonnaise and fries/potato wedges. The potato wedges were cold and we got one mini container of mayo for 5 people. Ultimately we asked for extra mayonnaise and we were given one more container when the fries were already cold (had to ask twice). We had to order the drink 3 times before it finally arrived. I ordered a "Schnitzel de Uitvlucht", but got a standard schnitzel. This did not look like the promised 250 grams as stated in the menu. The service does not know the difference between a Weizen and a white beer, which is necessary when you serve both beers. We didn't order dessert anymore even though we were looking forward to it. I think the problem mainly lies in the service, because the owner really comes from a catering family. It may not be due to knowledge and skills, but not everyone is capable of operating such a large terrace (I wouldn't be able to do it myself either).

Ate with 12 people, including 4 children aged 9 to 17 years. Read reviews in advance. They were not tender. Fortunately, nothing is right. Nothing was too much. I wanted to eat pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce instead of satay. That was no problem. Etc. We were regularly asked if we wanted something to drink or how the food tasted. My daughter wanted to make a tower out of beer coasters. Nothing was too much for them. The food and drinks were good. Thank you for the nice evening.

Unpleasant experience. We came in just before 8am after a long journey. Before we were even seated we were already looked away by the staff. In the end we were allowed to order a main course. After being allowed to look at the menu for 30 seconds, they pushily came to the table to ask if we had made a choice. Then the cutlery was literally thrown on the table. The food was nothing to write home about. The order was also incorrect, but we didn't even feel like reporting this because it would have done nothing for these people. Never had such dry meat as here. My colleague had a mixed grill which consisted of a fried snitzel made from old fat, a pork tenderloin that was as dry as the sole of my shoe and a spare rib that tasted like plastic. I had a snitzel that was even smaller than my colleague's while he got 3 pieces of meat for 5 euros more. If you ever end up in this park for work like I did, you'd better throw a frozen pizza in the oven. Never again.

Delicious food. Friendly service. They really made an effort to please you. Dog was also welcome. More than enough water available for him. There were some rowdy guys, men, drinking beer. Hence 4 stars for the atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again.

Mother's Day breakfast was a disappointment, for the price of 21 euros.

Had an exceptionally bad experience on Mother's Day. They had prepared a "pampering breakfast" which was extremely disappointing, especially for the high price of more than 20 euros. In addition, the pancakes were burnt, and after we asked for a vegetarian version, we received cheese slices from which the ham had clearly been removed. One slice even had a small piece of ham on it. After mentioning this, we only received the simple response: "Oh, I'm very sorry to hear that...that's 83 euros". I don't know if a la carte is better, it would be nice because the location is quite charming. I would advise against it for special promotions.

The price-quality ratio could really be better. Especially for the Limburg Stew. That was a failing grade: virtually no meat. And folks, you don't serve a Limburg stew with Mediterranean vegetables!!! So not worth the money. The service is friendly, but you have to go to the bar for the second drink and the wait was a little too long for the fries with mayonnaise.

We had a high tea, it was supposed to take 2 hours, but we were done within an hour. What was a pity was that the decoration for a high tea was not present. I thought it was very disappointing for the children, they promised a tower but they only gave them a flat plate. It radiated no atmosphere. We had to ask for a lot. Besides that, the staff was very friendly and questions were answered well. There are certainly some points of interest. Would I go here again for high tea, unfortunately not.

I have been coming here for years, but it gets worse every time. 8 euros for 4 chicken nuggets and 15 fries is downright ridiculous. Salad de uitvlucht used to be generous and delicious in taste and now you get it in a deep sandwich plate with 2 wafer-thin pieces of baguette. I estimate they cut about 50 pieces from a whole baguette. The service is completely rubbish. After sitting aimlessly for 15 minutes on a half-empty terrace, we had to ask if we could order something, where we were told that that person was not allowed to take orders and that we had to go get someone. Then it took another 5 minutes until someone came to our table while 2 people from the service were cleaning empty tables. It then took another 10 minutes before we got two beers and an apple juice, no lie!! If this business was located in a different location than this one, they would be bankrupt within a month. What a mockery. Folks, save yourself the trouble and your money and please go spend your money somewhere else than on this extremely amateurish venture!

Enjoyed Easter breakfast today with 8 people. Delicious, something for everyone. Only thought the price was much too high at 21.50 p.p. count it out. To be honest, if we had reserved 6 weeks in advance, if we had known it was so expensive, we would not have gone there. Despite the price, everything was well organized.

We often go there to eat after a walk, small menu, good staff. We even had a coffee table there, which was also very well taken care of. Their 2nd business is located in the center of Brunssum and we often go there. Good staff there too

Went for dinner with 7 people, of which 4 people had 3 courses and 3 only had a main course and dessert. However, there was too much time between the starter and main course (40 minutes), so 3 people went without food for more than 1 hour and 20 minutes. the food was tasty, but no culinary delights. The ordered Irish round steak rare/medium was unfortunately completely done. We received a new one without any problems, but this took another 15 minutes, so everyone had already finished the main course. Despite that, we had a good time and will definitely do it again.

After an unsuccessful reservation online, we were still able to sit at the table, this was nicely resolved by an employee 👍 we went with 3 people for the 3 course menu, beforehand a delicious tomato soup with fresh baguette, then 2x steak, 1x salmon, the steak was definitely not bad, although when we ordered 2x medium we received 2 different ones.... 1x too raw. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of frozen salmon, it was really substandard, it's a pity that my table companion did not want to return it out of politeness, the vegetables with these dishes did not show much variety (no salad) the dessert was thick in order. I like it when the staff asks if it's OK, but 4 people within 5 minutes is also an exaggeration. All in all, just enough in my opinion

Cozy log cabin ambiance and super atmosphere, delicious food and good price-quality ratio..

Het eten was goed alleen jammer dat de groente onder de satéstokjes ligt dus de satésaus komt door de groente heen. Groente apart of elders op het bord zodat de saus ook met het vlees gegeten kan worden zonder dat er groente mix door zit. Prijs/ kwaliteit iets aan de hogere kant maar dat is meestal bij het restaurant op het park.

We ordered some things from the snackbar, and the prices are too much from what you get from another snackbar. I suggest ordering elsewhere for cheaper. The food itself was good.

Uiensoep besteld. Was echt zo slecht. De soep was lauw. Er was gewoon een snee witbrood ingedaan met een plak kaas erop. Niet te eten.

Heel mooi restaurant met uitgebreid menu en goed eten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en ook de toiletten zijn prima verzorgd. Kortom een aanrader.

Fijne plek om te zijn en leuk ook voor de kinderen

Gegeten met familie. Eten was echt matig voor die prijzen, de groenten waren afgeraffeld, de hamburgers zagen en proefden niet echt vers.. Mooie zaak & locatie, verder zonde van de slechte eetervaring!

Heerlijk gegeten zeker de moeite waard om terug te gaan. Het was heel lekker Ons hondje mocht ook mee naar binnen.

Wij hadden er een feestje van de familie , bij aankomst was nagenoeg nog niks voorbereid en het eten heeft daar door lang geduurd het was er ook veel te warm pas geruime tijd na aankomst en toen het echt veel te warm was geworden werd de airco aan gezet. Over de locatie en het eten op zich kan ik alleen maar lovend zijn.

Lekker gegeten na een wandeling op de Brunsummerheide. Vriendelijk personeel. Ook de hondjes zijn welkom. Vrij recent heel mooi verbouwd. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Ik kom hier zeker terug!
