Schuttershüske in Wijk 03 Brunssum-Oost

The service was youthful, spontaneous, and friendly. We had to wait a bit longer for our bell pepper soup, but it was delicious and the portions were good. We had a delicious roll with herb butter. They also have a nice, extensive menu with something for everyone at reasonable prices. The newly created terrace is fantastic and flows seamlessly into the boulevard. The atmosphere is cozy with a nostalgic feel. The beer is well-prepared and reasonably priced.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, great service.

Today we had a Christmas celebration from work. The decorations were beautiful and there was a bouncy castle for the kids. The food wasn't as good this year. There was plenty of choice, but it could have been a bit more extensive. There was a dessert bar... which was a huge plus for many.

After a pleasant walk, you can replenish your energy here. It's just a shame the menu isn't complete. For those who aren't from here, you can also get pastries to go with your coffee. The decor is cozy. Prices are a bit high.

We came for breakfast. There were some antisocial, loudmouthed athletes in the same room, making so much noise that we couldn't have a conversation. I asked the waiter if he could say anything about it, but he refused. This place is fine for a drink in the summer, but that's about it. It's a great place for a walk with the dogs... I don't recommend this restaurant.

For the price we paid, I expected more from the salmon sandwich than a half-filled Kaiser roll and a half-cooked pancake. We had to ask if we could order after a long wait, and people who came in after us were already being served. The atmosphere was bland; much more could have been done here. It was our first and last visit.

I had a lovely time during a bike ride, sitting there on the edge of the Brunssummerheide. Enjoyed a cappuccino and a Duvel, and was treated to a special Duvel glass as a surprise—how sweet!👍🏻

Friendly, helpful staff, nice, spacious accommodations, delicious, and affordable lunch. We were able to charge our bike batteries inside.

We were here for a double birthday celebration. The weather was beautiful, so we were welcomed outside on the terrace. A beautiful spot surrounded by greenery. The service was prompt and efficient; hats off! After an hour, the buffet was ready: barbecue chicken, beautiful skewers with tender beef, salads, bread, and two types of fish. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Afterwards, we went inside where the place was decorated very festively for (and by, I think) the birthday boys and girls, and the DJ was playing. Again, the drinks service was prompt and courteous. In short, a successful evening at a beautiful location.

I came here for a meeting. We started with a delicious lunch on the terrace and then settled into a beautiful (meeting) room. All in all: charming accommodations in a beautiful location, friendly staff, a good lunch, and delicious pastries to go with the coffee.

It's surprising that a luxurious (more expensive) breakfast doesn't include a drink or yogurt. Coffee had to be paid for separately. The terrace was pleasant until people around us started smoking. We quickly left.

We were a group of 9, the food was ordered in advance and this was clearly prepared much too early, the bread was tough and the hot dishes were lukewarm!!!! When we wanted to pay, it was not possible to split up. Understandable when it is very busy, but there were hardly any tables occupied and this was handled annoyingly. Never again

Very nice location but that is saying a lot. Food has a good price quality ratio, but it is also not expensive…

It is a beautiful place to reminisce. Also a beautiful place for the younger generation to enjoy a little of life before they were born.

Delicious coffee and pancakes, but it's a shame that the price of pancakes has risen by more than 40% in just a few weeks. We won't be coming back here again. We came because it was tasty and affordable here.

The Schuttershuske is located in the middle of the natural and well-maintained Schutterspark. Atmospheric interior, friendly staff and definitely worth a visit for a Sunday brunch!

Cozy terrace, sweet service, knowledgeable!

Last Sunday's dinner would be a perfect end to our family day. We announced in advance that we would arrive 10 minutes later than reserved. We were a group of 10 adults and 2 children. We arrived at 3:40 PM, kitchen open until 4:30 PM. Closed at 5 p.m. We ordered and shortly afterwards the nice lady came to our attention that there were no more hamburgers, not nice, but 3 guests chose something else... of course it took longer :-( Shortly afterwards the young lady came again with the announcement that the trout was unfortunately gone and the salad with the trio of fish could then be ordered with a duo of fish....okay, too bad, but that is the case. Not long afterwards we were informed that there was none there was more apple for the 3 salads with the warm goat cheese. We were no longer surprised. The food was very mediocre, the service was friendly. We wanted to order a cup of coffee at the end, but that was no longer possible because they had closed :-( All in all, we have never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately, we will not visit the Schuttershüske again. Recommended...the IJSHUT. We were welcomed there with open arms and enjoyed the delicious ice cream!

Delicious breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Food was tasty and friendly service. The luxurious breakfast was very well prepared and plentiful. We were also full for lunch.

Located in a very beautiful location where many families, elderly people and hikers come for a walk and then chill out in Schoothuuske. Friendly service, price/quality is excellent...it is always busy and the atmosphere inside is pleasant...and dogs are allowed inside. TOP

What a shitty place, come for an extra walk with the dog and then have a nice drink at the Schuttershuuske. Plenty of tables and chairs, and yet they said, we are full. Then not! People said, we are leaving soon, but they were still busy. food, so I said, no, just sit tight, the staff kept looking at us strangely like a bumper car!! Do you want to earn money or not? In any case, we will never go to their place again.

Always super friendly and hospitable. The hall had been rented, but a spot was still made available for us. We are here at least once a month!

Leuke plek om na een wandeling te stoppen voor een hapje en een drankje.

Mooi terras en vriendelijke medewerkers. Erg lang moeten wachten op de lunch (45 min)terwijl het terras maar half vol zat. Echter is het eten prima van smaak, zeker een aanrader.

Je kunt er gezellig op terras ziten en er wat drinken of een hapje eten.

Wij komen hier regelmatig met de fiets langs via de knooppunten. Hier kun je een mooie pauze houden op deze toch wel iconische plek ( zoon van een oud mijnwerker). Vroeger was Schutterspark/Schuttershüske bezit van de Staatsmijnen, de kinderen van de mijnwerkers hadden hiet toen gratis toegang. Het was vroeger voor deze kinderen een dagje uit, dit kan je nu met een pretpark vergelijken. Er is een lunchkaart met vriendelijke prijzen, en de kwaliteit is goed. We komen hier zeker terug.

Grote Ijskoffie gekocht voor maar liefst 5 euro. Is maar een bekertje van 300ml en is nog lauw ook geen ijs in te vinden

We hebben en een drankje genuttigd. Vlotte bediening leuke ontspannen sfeer waarbij je als klant echt het gevoel hebt dat het om jou draait. Een dikke duim, komen zeker nog een keer.
