Cozy, beautiful location, delicious food and good service

The food was fine. Friendly but slow service despite the small number of tables occupied. Many empty cups and glasses were left on the table even though staff repeatedly passed by. A waitress fed a dog at a neighboring table and then continued serving without washing her hands.

Beautiful restaurant, great location, and delicious food. We had a chicken club sandwich and one with salmon. The kids had a pancake and a grilled cheese sandwich. It was delicious, with large portions and good service. Highly recommended; we'll be back soon!

A really nice place to eat. Friendly, efficient service and delicious food, although I felt the spare ribs could have used a bit more meat, not fat. Next time, I'll try their satay 😉 A nice bonus of the location was that we saw a few deer in the meadow, and on our way back, two of them crossed the path we were on!

We were there during regular opening hours. Staff were present, the door was locked, and there was no way to get up to the tower or get food or drinks. There are other places to eat around here. Now we're off to the pizzeria in the neighboring town.

Always a great lunch in a beautiful location

We had lunch at the Watertoren Rimburg today. What an incredibly friendly owner; it felt like coming home. We had a fried egg sandwich with bacon and salad, and two homemade satay croquettes with bread, pickled vegetables, and salad. The portions were generous and, above all, very tasty for a very reasonable price! We'll definitely be back.

I never knew there was a brasserie here, which was especially surprising because I ran into an old acquaintance, which was really nice.

Wonderfully quiet on a weekday. We arrived just after 5 p.m., but luckily we were still able to order food. The waitress was super friendly, true Limburg hospitality! After dinner, we took in the view from the top of the water tower. Note that they're only open until 6 p.m. during the off-season.

You can enjoy a delicious lunch here; the service is friendly and the food arrives quickly. There's ample parking right outside.

We waited a long time for our lunch dishes (there were three of us). The people next to us and behind us had already received them, as they arrived later. "Oh yeah, we see it now, it's coming!" No apology, a bit odd. The salad really needs more lettuce, almost the most expensive on the menu. The food was reasonable.

A short visit with the family for a drink and snack at the end of the birthday of our daughter. We had drinks and asked for vegetarian snacks. The team was helpful in finding options, even outside the menu. So we had vegetarian mini loempias, bruschetta without salmon or meat and a flammkuchen made especially without meat. Nice! It would be great if in future more vegetarian or vegan options could be available, also on the lunch and dinner menu. We climbed the tower and enjoyed the view over south Limburg. Nice!

The owners, along with their chef and family, smoke and drink on a single, enclosed terrace without fresh air, very hospitable if you're eating next door. This isn't actually allowed by the rules, but they don't care. You don't feel welcome, the food is expensive, and the quality is terrible. Advice: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. There are much nicer places in the area.

A quick bike stop with delicious food and very friendly service. We'd gladly return!

We only stopped by Brasserie De Watertoren for a drink, but the visit was absolutely worth it. The location impresses with its stylish atmosphere and charm – modern yet cozy. We were particularly impressed by the view from the water tower: a stunning panoramic view that invites you to linger and enjoy. This brasserie is definitely recommended for a relaxing stopover or a stylish meeting with friends. We'd love to come back – perhaps for dinner too.

Onvriendelijke eigenaresse, niet gastvrij, het gaat haar duidelijk om de euro’s en niet om de klanten, de keuken sluit ook wanneer zij dat willen, grote kans dat je voor niks komt, dus hier ‘n dikke tip; ga er niet naartoe en geef je geld aub elders uit!

Unfriendly owner, not hospitable, this lady is purely concerned with the euros and not with her customers, the kitchen closes when and at what time they want, so there is a good chance that you will come for nothing, better said; find another restaurant..

Very nice place everything is ok

Spa rood was glas kraanwater, de citroensmask van de vorige inhoud was te proeven. Volgens menu broodje kroket met mosterd besteld. De sla die er bij kwam was uitgedroogd. De mosterd kregen we pas na vragen en toen kroket al weer was afgekoeld. Jeugdige bediening was heel aardig, de minder jeugdige mevrouw was nogal vervelend aanwezig. Ze snauwde haar personeel en zelfs potentiële klanten die toen de zaak weer verlieten.

On this day it was walking weather. Many visitors with dogs. An occasional growl and a short bark. But that didn't spoil the fun.

Had lunch here for the first time last weekend. My friend had just finished her last bite when we were asked to leave because they “needed our table”. We were just not put out with the sandwiches and cappuccinos. I have never experienced this anywhere before, so I won't be coming back here.

Amazingly, we were sent away after 1 o'clock, as the owner “needed the table”. We had just made a reservation so I didn't think that I would be asked to get up immediately after my last bite. So I came here for the last time!

While walking we had a delicious meal at De Watertoren, very nice people.

Don’t now about food since I couldn’t order. I waited too long on a dirty table. Finaly managed them to pick up the empty bottles, tableware and ordered drinks. Another waiting period and they half-wipe the foodcraps. Waited more and still no drinks, so decided to leave.

Lekker eten! Heerlijke malse holsteiner schnitzel. Met frietjes, salade, champignons en uitjes. Hele vriendelijke bediening. En zeer gastvrij voor zowel mensen als honden. Ook een aanrader om met de lift naar boven te gaan in de Watertoren. Prachtig uitzicht! Marion Hobo

Heerlijk gegeten bij de Watertoren. Vriendelijk personeel! Hertenbiefstuk was echt top. De perfecte stop na een wandeling of om een avond te gaan eten.

We had dinner here for our wedding on November 23. A late lunch. We had a delicious meal from bouncer to deer fillet, it was all excellent. I had the prawn as a starter, which was simply delicious, and then I had the Deer Fillet, which was super tasty and beautifully prepared. And a luxurious ice cream with hot chocolate afterwards. Enjoy some special beers. We were allowed to choose from the lunch menu and the dinner menu, no trouble too much for them. Lots of praise for the staff, both kitchen and service. And as a chef I can give that a well-deserved 10 for staff.

The service was fantastic! A very friendly and enthusiastic young man who clearly enjoys his job. That made it extra fun. The food was excellent, and the cozy and attractive decor provided a perfect overall picture. Definitely recommended!

First time we’ve been here for Sunday lunch, and we were generally not disappointed. Service was friendly and efficient. Our meals were nicely prepared, well presented and could not be faulted. We were there midday, so it was a little quiet and not so warm inside, heating could be better on such a cold damp day. I feel that, overall, it was a little on the expensive side of acceptable. We live locally so we are potential returning customers.

Came here by chance while walking to have a cool drink. Because of the friendly welcome and the friendly atmosphere, we immediately stayed for dinner. The dishes we ate were very tasty and sufficient for us. Unfortunately no time for dessert, but if these are as tasty as the main courses, we will have to go back for them again.

Gereserveerd. Vriendelijk ontvangst. Na plaats nemen drank vooraf. Goede menu kaart. Begonnen met uien soep en tomatensoep. Op zeer juiste wijze opgediend. Daarna ieder een sparerib menu. Ruim geserveerd met groenten en sauzen en patat. Koffie als afsluiting. Zaak heeft een geweldige uitstraling wat alle complimenten verdiend. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Was very busy and had to wait a long time.

We zijn vanmorgen even wezen kijken toen kregen we al een warm onthaal en direct een tafeltje gereserveerd voor de avond,wederom warm onthaald door een mooie gastvrouw het eten is verrukkelijk en prijs kwaliteit is goed de locatie is super we zagen zelf nog een ree lopen in het weiland voor ons terras. We vroegen of we een viltje mee mochten nemen voor on in de kroeg bij huis ze kwamen direct met verschillende soorten viltjes aanzetten super toch. Voor ons een dikke 10.

Ordered two capuchinos today, 1 pancake with apple and 1 with apple and bacon. The pancake with bacon was sent back. The bacon on top was still pink raw. It came back a few minutes later and it was not yet baked. Anyway. My wife had already let me taste her pancake, the batter was still glassy (not cooked) and was floating in the oil. You could taste the aftertaste of the raw flour through it. My pancake that came back was slightly more cooked, but still almost raw. This was reported and they were taken back. We had the choice of something else or it being deducted. A little later someone, probably the manageress, came and said loudly that the pancakes were really okay but that they did not have to be paid for. She probably felt this was necessary because of the other guests who must have received it. Whatever. She should have tasted them in front of us, I would have wanted to see her face. When I wanted to pay for the otherwise excellent capuchino, this was not necessary because of the inconvenience. You don't easily experience that and you deserve to be commended. Something can go wrong everywhere. It is a beautiful location and the service is very friendly and I assume that the chef has thought about how he / she can prevent this next time.

What a scam here, if you order a glass of soft drink, it costs from the large bottle, with no less than 3 ice cubes and 1 slice of lemon, 2.95 EURO!!, food not very good, little taste, bread much too hard, mediocre quality, abuse the location..., the empty bottles are in the elevator, it doesn't seem very fresh to me...

Beautiful campsite had a nice spacious pitch 153. Friendly owner nice swimming pool. I think the sanitary building is too small considering there are so many camping guests during high season.

Unfortunately I ordered an ice cream for 4 people and with 30 degrees outside you should get nice chilled ice cream. Unfortunately, the ice cream was very melted and the whipped cream was blubbery. There was warm chocolate sauce that was on the plate together with the lukewarm ice cream. So the result was melted ice cream and whipped cream. I visited the restaurant at the Watertoren Rimburg today and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience. The view from the water tower was truly breathtaking and really added something special to the meal. The food itself was delicious and of excellent quality, and the staff was very sympathetic and helpful. The latte I had there was absolutely delicious and was one of the best I've ever had. I travel a lot and visit different restaurants, but the Watertoren Rimburg really impressed me. I'm already looking forward to going back and enjoying more of their culinary delights!

Was een bar koude dag, binnen heerlijk warm, goed verzorgd. Lijkt mij in de zomer heerlijk. Kan je ook in de oude toren zitten. Omgeving mooi met heel ver zicht.

Erg leuke plek om te lunchen of dineren of gewoon een koffie te drinken. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar en het eten smaakte meer dan prima! Je kan in de watertoren met de lift naar boven voor het mooie uitzicht van de omgeving.
