Great little café/restaurant. We've been there several times and the food has always been delicious. Prices are reasonable and the service is always very friendly. Keep it up!

Upon entering, we weren't greeted, even though two staff members walked by. We sat down anyway, and waited 15 minutes while people around us were seated and helped. We got up and left the restaurant. Not even worthy of one ☆, truly a disgrace!! You have to be a regular to get help.

What the hell happened to this place? I've been annoyed by the long waits and walked out plenty of times, but what happened today was way too much for me. Upon entering, not a single "good morning" was even a glance. I sat down; many people came in after me and were helped immediately, but not me. So I got up and asked a woman standing idle at the bar if I could order something. She said, irritated, "I'll be right there." But no, she just stood there and didn't move. Then the new owner showed up, bluntly claiming I'd already ordered a cappuccino, which surprised me because I always drink lattes. She started an argument with me, saying she'd already walked by when she certainly hadn't, and acting like I was making it up. The way she treated me, not to mention her arrogant attitude, was beyond words. I finally finished my latte quickly and left. I didn't even get a good morning. I'm reading several negative reviews now, so this is happening a lot. One thing is certain: they won't be seeing me there again. And I'm worried about them if they keep this up. It's such a shame this business was always a great one.

For months now, since the new owners took over, things have been going downhill. It often takes a long time for someone to come and ask if you want to order. They don't know how to sell here anymore. Then it takes a very long time to get the food, drinks, and dessert you ordered. If you mention it, the owner comes to you and says, "It's normal that it takes so long." Well, I can say with 100 percent certainty that I never have to wait half an hour for a schnitzel in any other restaurant, but here I do, and they consider it normal. I ate and left without dessert. I had dessert at home. I'm not crazy and I'm willing to wait that long. This review was from 4 months ago. It's back to normal now. Orders are taken within minutes, and the food is served quickly by friendly staff. I'm enjoying eating there again.

It's a shame for such a business that used to be very good with the previous owner.

Hadn't eaten for a while, went back again. Knowing that there is a new owner in the lunchroom. To be honest, the food has deteriorated. Taco sandwich soft instead of crispy taco meat cold. Staff runs from left to right, one looking more grumpy than the other. Then I noticed that 2 different employees were eating the same dish in the middle of the lunchroom. Apparently, staff are no longer allowed to take a break by sitting down for a while, but literally throw it back at the bar. No, as a regular customer, we will not return.

It was the first time I was here after a long time. I knew there were new owners. The menu has definitely improved, but unfortunately the service has not. We were just about to get up and leave when someone finally came. We also just told her what we thought about it. But I don't think she would pass this on to her manager.

Went in here on Sat. April 12, 2025, then looked for a picture, sat down, but after 10 minutes no one was at the table, while people who came in after us had already been asked and served. Just got up and left again, After this visit it's over for us. But never go in there again. Then you go to their competitor within the Op de Kamp shopping center.

What an inhospitable tent. I sat down alone at five to one at a four-person table that had been reserved from half past two. I thought I'd pick it up easily because I just wanted a cup of coffee. Still, the waitress asked me to sit at a smaller table. As if a larger group would manage to finish their food before half past two. It always takes at least half an hour there before you get your food. I have never felt treated so inferiorly. Very bad experience!

Had dinner with my mom today for my birthday. Mom had a luxurious breakfast. Only downside. 3 baguettes and 2 small tubs of butter. Wasn't enough. You had to pay extra for more butter. No drama for us. But useful to know. And I have a taco stick. Yummy yummm Was delicious as always. Super friendly staff. Super sweet boss. Good and handy high chair. How unfriendly can you be....... come and have coffee with residents almost every week. Now a resident was there and wanted to hand in a gift voucher. How is it possible for a gift voucher to expire????? And above all, where is the customer friendliness.

Recently had dinner here. Unfortunately, we waited just under an hour for two sandwiches, even though it was not extremely busy and the staff was smoking outside... 🫢 Fortunately, once we had the sandwiches, we were happy and they tasted good. The last time we were there everything had gone wrong. Please have chocolate milk without whipped cream, so you still get whipped cream. Last time we ordered fresh orange juice. Well what did we get: orange juice from a carton with pulp. I asked an employee that is not the fresh one. Yes, she says and continues walking. The food was good. However, we waited a long time before it was served. An hour and fifteen minutes!! Now we had a lot to tell and it didn't matter much in terms of time. What was really annoying is that many of the staff smoke and frequently go out through a side door. They then left this door open. It was 12 degrees outside and we sat next to this door. Really very annoying!! And what I secretly wondered: did we have to wait so long because they thought smoking was more important? Our visit to Ut Sonneklukske was a pleasant experience from start to finish. With a fresh bun from the oven, crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, together with an excellent cup of coffee. The perfect way to start the day. For lunch we opted for a generously filled sandwich with fried chicken strips, cheese, pickle, tomato, lettuce, carrot, onion, and a rich cocktail sauce. Every bite was a tasty surprise, with fresh ingredients that came together perfectly. The combination of friendly service, a warm ambiance and tasty food makes Ut Sonneklukske a place where we will definitely return. Whether you fancy a simple breakfast or an extensive lunch, you're in the right place here!

I used to come a lot with my mother. Now it was disappointing. Far too few staff. To wait long. And food wasn't like it used to be either. Shame. Always liked coming here when we went shopping in Op de Kamp. Then just find another place.

Today the 2 of us are having breakfast. 1x small breakfast and 1x skewer of fresh salmon. The service never fails to smile. Had to ask several times if we could still order and then it took a very long time for the drinks to arrive. The food was brought by a young man who doesn't even know the difference between tuna and salmon (sorry, but you work in a restaurant). Since the new owners have moved in, it just hasn't been the same, especially the service. It's also a pity that you are not allowed to enter with the dog.

Went there for dinner today and we still had 4 gift cards. These turned out to be no longer valid even though there was no date on them. There seem to be new owners and in short they said "yes, they are no longer valid, you should have handed them in before March." Very bad service!!!

Today I had another delicious lunch at this cozy brasserie. As always, the bouncer did not disappoint; It is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a well-prepared and tasty dish. The staff also deserves kudos: they are always friendly and cheerful, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. However, there is something that somewhat ruined my visit this time. I have noticed a few times now that there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the store. This is a real shame and detracts from the enjoyment of the delicious food served here. I really hope something can be done about this situation, because this restaurant has so much potential and deserves a smoke-free and fresh environment.

Went here for dinner last week. Since the new owners have arrived, it's really nothing anymore. The staff is just talking around. The only person who works there is the owner herself. There was even a time when two staff members were with the trays touching each other. they were clapping, they acted as if they were with the band. I don't think that's possible. Ordered a Large Sour Meat Fries today, and for a large portion there were remarkably few Fries! The Sour Meat did not taste sour at all, it was more like Stew Meat.. It tasted good!, but it was not what we know in Limburg as traditional Sour Meat! (with apple syrup & vinegar, etc.) However, the service was excellent! & a super extensive menu! - fries sour meat large €11.25 - fries hamburger special €8.50 [March 2024]
