Had a delicious meal, very friendly and cheerful service

In one word: mediocre. I had lunch here with my partner. I had a pancake with bacon and apple. The apple slices and bacon were lying loosely on the pancake, so they weren't baked into it. Probably so they can reheat pancakes more easily instead of baking them fresh. I think that's a shame. For the price, you should be able to expect a fresh pancake. Also, the amount of bacon was very small. My partner's sandwich tasted like a very cheap bake-off roll; it was also sparsely topped. The lunchroom itself feels dated. They do try their best to make it feel cozy, but if you look past that, you can see that the lunchroom is in need of a major update.

Delicious food and very friendly staff. The only downside is that people outside at a table next to me are just smoking while I am eating. That is downright disgusting, and the staff really should say something about it.

We had a very disappointing carpaccio sandwich. The price-quality ratio was very poor. The carpaccio was tasteless, there were only 2 or 3 thin sprigs of arugula on it, and you could count the pine nuts and pieces of grated cheese on one hand. For us, this is a reason not to return here.

Nice lunchroom: the food was tasty, the staff was friendly, and the prices for the dishes were good. And our little one got a nice coloring page while we waited. Simply super!

I'm reading several negative reviews now, so this happens quite often. One thing is certain, they won't be seeing me back there again. And I have a bleak outlook for them if they keep going like this. It is such a shame for this place; it used to be a top spot. And this is my response to his response: Hi, to be honest, I find it quite remarkable that you are only responding 9 months after my review. During those 9 months, I walked past the shop several times a week. If you felt that my review was incorrect or if you wanted to discuss this with me, you could have simply spoken to me personally back then. I indicated to you that I wanted a latte coffee and not a cappuccino; I have been drinking latte coffee for 15 years, so why would I suddenly order a cappuccino? When the previous owner was still in charge, I came here almost daily with great pleasure, which makes it all the more regrettable that things turned out this way.

There were a lot of smokers sitting outside on the terrace. That's why we went inside to eat. A shame, because I also like sitting outside. Atmosphere is a matter of personal taste, of course. But not enough for me here. It is located in a shopping center, so it is geared towards that. Shoppers with, for example, children. The food is the same. Superficial. Nothing special.

Yes, actually, I’ve been coming here regularly for my cup of coffee for over 10 years. The staff is certainly friendly, competent, and very good. It’s always pleasantly busy there, and I think that’s exactly the point: to have a nice full house as a lunchroom. See you next week, I’d say.

We were at your place last week. We wanted to order something to eat, but after 15 minutes no one came to ask, even though staff was present. Two of us were eating and the third was just standing around looking, so we left.

Nice restaurant in Landgraaf for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We think the spare ribs are amazing. South Limburg is definitely highly recommended.

I went to eat goulash soup by chance, I've done it 3 times now, and really, what a fantastic goulash soup! Delicious flavor, nicely filled with meat and just that little bit of spice.

We both ordered a Hawaiian grilled cheese sandwich. €10.25 including curry. The bread was dry, thin, and stale, inedible; the sandwich was so tough and tasteless. Absolutely disgusting. Nothing was done about it, except to report it. The coffee is fine, but eating here is a waste of money, so never again.

We went to Ut Sonneklokske for the first time. It was wonderful, a beautiful location. We will definitely go back. The staff were also very friendly. A 10 out of 10.

For months now, since the new owners took over, things have been going downhill. It often takes a long time for someone to come and ask if you want to order. They don't know how to sell here anymore. Then it takes a very long time to get the food, drinks, and dessert you ordered. If you mention it, the owner comes to you and says, "It's normal that it takes so long." Well, I can say with 100 percent certainty that I never have to wait half an hour for a schnitzel in any other restaurant, but here I do, and they consider it normal. I ate and left without dessert. I had dessert at home. I'm not crazy and I'm willing to wait that long. This review was from 4 months ago. It's back to normal now. Orders are taken within minutes, and the food is served quickly by friendly staff. I'm enjoying eating there again.

Hadn't eaten for a while, went back again. Knowing that there is a new owner in the lunchroom. To be honest, the food has deteriorated. Taco sandwich soft instead of crispy taco meat cold. Staff runs from left to right, one looking more grumpy than the other. Then I noticed that 2 different employees were eating the same dish in the middle of the lunchroom. Apparently, staff are no longer allowed to take a break by sitting down for a while, but literally throw it back at the bar. No, as a regular customer, we will not return.

It was the first time I was here after a long time. I knew there were new owners. The menu has definitely improved, but unfortunately the service has not. Despite the fact that there were enough staff walking around, and it was not really busy, it took a long time before someone noticed us and came to take our order. We were just about to get up and leave when someone finally came. We also just told her what we thought about it. But I don't think she would pass this on to her manager.

Went in here on Sat. April 12, 2025, then looked for a picture, sat down, but after 10 minutes no one was at the table, while people who came in after us had already been asked and served. Just got up and left again, After this visit it's over for us. But never go in there again. Then you go to their competitor within the Op de Kamp shopping center.

What an inhospitable tent. I sat down alone at five to one at a four-person table that had been reserved from half past two. I thought I'd pick it up easily because I just wanted a cup of coffee. Still, the waitress asked me to sit at a smaller table. As if a larger group would manage to finish their food before half past two. It always takes at least half an hour there before you get your food. I have never felt treated so inferiorly. Very bad experience!

If you are looking for a friendly lunch shop with a homely atmosphere where you can go with the whole family, this is recommended. The food is always served neatly and has a good price-quality ratio. In general, many elderly people and families with young children come here, but I have always found it pleasant. The sandwiches are especially recommended. These are invested very generously! Reservations are highly recommended on Saturdays.

Had dinner with my mom today for my birthday. Mom had a luxurious breakfast. Only downside. 3 baguettes and 2 small tubs of butter. Wasn't enough. You had to pay extra for more butter. No drama for us. But useful to know. And I have a taco stick. Yummy yummm Was delicious as always. Super friendly staff. Super sweet boss. Good and handy high chair. How unfriendly can you be....... come and have coffee with residents almost every week. Now a resident was there and wanted to hand in a gift voucher. How is it possible for a gift voucher to expire????? And above all, where is the customer friendliness.

Recently had dinner here. Unfortunately, we waited just under an hour for two sandwiches, even though it was not extremely busy and the staff was smoking outside... 🫢 Fortunately, once we had the sandwiches, we were happy and they tasted good. The last time we were there everything had gone wrong. Please have chocolate milk without whipped cream, so you still get whipped cream. Last time we ordered fresh orange juice. Well what did we get: orange juice from a carton with pulp. I asked an employee that is not the fresh one. Yes, she says and continues walking. The food was good. However, we waited a long time before it was served. An hour and fifteen minutes!! Now we had a lot to tell and it didn't matter much in terms of time. What was really annoying is that many of the staff smoke and frequently go out through a side door. They then left this door open. It was 12 degrees outside and we sat next to this door. Really very annoying!! And what I secretly wondered: did we have to wait so long because they thought smoking was more important?
