Nice place. The pancake looked good, but the bottom wasn't cooked. So you're eating batter that's a bit overcooked. Too bad.

A very nice restaurant. I have a gluten intolerance, and they really catered to that. Fries are fried in a separate fryer, and salads and other dishes can be adapted. A very pleasant atmosphere.

Top location...especially when the sun is shining! Beautiful sun terrace! Top service! The 12-hour snacks are highly recommended!

This is how a brasserie should be. A fine, carefully selected menu and an excellent drink selection. Hospitality and professionalism are paramount here. A charming ambiance and beautiful decor. Without a doubt, highly recommended.

We've been there several years. For food, but also for just coffee or tea. You have a beautiful view. If we sit outside in the fall, the patio heater is available. I'd say, see you next year! So the price per person may vary.

Beautiful location, but the food quality wasn't great...it tasted like stale bread. It also took 10 minutes for my husband to get his food. I told the staff, but all they said was...oooohhh...so sad.

A group of six. The main courses were very meager. A handful of fries to share between two. A small portion of meat or fish and two tablespoons of overcooked yellow and red bell peppers and onions on the plate. When we confronted the waiter about this, she explained that it had been very busy, they were almost sold out, and they were out of vegetables. Anyone who ordered anything else would get a salad. Too bad this wasn't the case for us. We paid full price. If only we had read the reviews. Apparently, it's more of a habit than a coincidence to rip off customers!

Delicious food, good service, highly recommended

A really nice place, especially sitting on the terrace where you can watch the pilot boats come and go. Delicious food, especially the farmer's omelette, which is my favorite. Packed with fresh vegetables. The staff is efficient and friendly. My favorite place in Vlissingen! Went here for lunch again today, September 3, 2025. What a DISAPPOINTMENT this time was the farmer's omelette. There were no vegetables left in it, just some onion strips, a piece of mushroom, and some bacon. It fell apart. I've eaten this here regularly, but this was the last time. The staff were friendly, though; I was told the chef would be spoken to about it.

We've had two delicious meals here in the past few days. Because of a festival on the boulevard, we had a lot of noise on the terrace last Saturday. Yesterday, we had dinner again in peace. Eating here is a wonderful experience. Friendly service and reasonable prices. They're quick and attentive. The only downside: if you order one carpaccio, you get a delicious roll with it. If you order two, you still get one. That was the only disappointment; otherwise, nothing but praise.

A very nice brasserie at the pilot harbour, where you can see all the life on the water to and from Antwerp passing by and also the pilot boats coming and going.

Only had soup. The service from the first (student worker?) was rather stiff. The ladies were friendlier afterward...which is important. It's a nice location, though!

As expected, the prices don't reflect the quality. However, for a cheese sandwich costing just under €6, you really only get a dry sandwich with three slices of Gouda and some salad. A 0.2-liter soft drink isn't available for less than €3. The staff are friendly, but sometimes they get overwhelmed when it's busy. Okay for the location, but there's still room for improvement.

Extremely small portions, and the staff were incredibly unfriendly when confronted about this. We only received one portion of fries to share with our small portion of food. If you order as one person, you get the same portion. According to the staff, this is because, "If you're eating with one person, you're just lucky. Two people share one portion, and don't be silly. If you want more, you have to order more." Extremely unfriendly, especially when the portions are already so small and expensive.

A lovely café with a great view of the sea. There's a good selection of drinks and food. The quality and taste were also very impressive. One small drawback is that the kitchen doesn't open until 12:00 PM. Before then, they only serve drinks and a maximum of one slice of cake. It's a shame, because the café's menu would actually be perfect for brunch. The service was otherwise very friendly, but could have been a bit faster in places. All in all, we can still recommend the restaurant.

The apple pie was way too sweet!! One bite of sugar instead of one bite of apple pie!!! Why would you say that?! Beautiful view though!!! That's why it's still 3 stars.

Basic food. Little concern for customer satisfaction. Wrong dish received (sandwich instead of a wrap) and replaced only 20 minutes later... when everyone was finished eating 😶

Due to the location, the price is obviously higher, the service is quick with clearing up even if not everyone is finished yet and then you sit there at your empty seat, but this is the only way to generate the turnover that is needed to survive there.

Beautiful location overlooking the Western Scheldt, the pilot boats in action, and the marina. Enjoyed a delicious lunch. The young waitresses could be a bit more proactive; perhaps they needed to get going on a Sunday morning. The young man serving the dishes was more enthusiastic.

While it's a pleasant place to sit, the food was far too expensive for the small portions. €28 for a particularly small portion of mussels with a very small portion of fries to share is too much money. It's a shame. Hopefully, other customers can refute our bad experience.

The current construction work in the pilot boat harbor basin is severely impacting the view and the tranquility. The small elevator to the restrooms is particularly noticeable. Please keep pressing the floor button until you reach the next floor. The restaurant is recommended for a short break.

Friendly service and beautiful view! The food could have been better, the salad with the shrimp croquettes was a bit poor and the shrimp croquettes lacked the distinct shrimp flavor, which was a shame. We also had to wait quite a long time for our food.

We wanted to redeem our gift voucher, it was stated on the site. After eating, one of the employees told us that they did not participate in that nonsense. So people, think before you eat there!! No more repetition for us here!!

We had a great meal here again, whatever you take, meat or fish, it is all fresh and deliciously prepared and neatly served. You are in a great location there. On one side the harbor and the Bellamypark and the Nieuwedijk, and on the other side the departing and arriving pilot boats and the Western Scheldt. Cozy restaurant by the harbour. Nice view. There is also a terrace here. Employees are friendly, you don't have to wait too long. Good prices. I ordered Chocomel with apple pie. According to the menu, this is a limited recipe. Really, apple pie was nice and creamy and slightly different, maybe with gingerbread? Whatever you order, this is an ideal place to get your energy back after walking along the coast or in the city center.

Very quiet evening (Wednesday in November) so full attention. Friendly service and delicious food and drinks for a reasonable price. A very pleasant place to be in the dark autumn. Nice music but not too intrusive. Been more often in the summer, but certainly also recommended in the fall.

Very nice brasserie to have a coffee and look at the sea and the small harbor. It's nice that you can sit outside in the sun, protected from the wind. We've been there before and would love to come back!

I've been coming back whenever we're in Vlissingen for over 20 years. Good food while watching ships. The staff is friendly. See you next time. Dogs are allowed in the heated "winter garden". Not inside the restaurant.

Some standard food and drinks, nothing special, but a sublime place. Long service times when busy

Nice terrace in a good location.........a pity that there is no flexibility on the menu... I asked if I could get 1 croquette on 1 sandwich... the answer was No without further addition. Then, with a deep sigh, the kitchen asked if it was possible... so it was no longer necessary for me. So if you have stomach and/or intestinal problems and therefore cannot/should not eat that much, I would definitely skip this matter.

The view is and remains amazing! Enjoyed it again immensely. Food delicious again and staff super neat and friendly. Even though it was full.

Unfortunately we got a bouncer, where even the egg white was still liquid. Young ladies in the service don't want to see you and if you make a comment about the bouncer, they don't deal with it professionally. Location is nice, but that's all. Toilets were also not clean.

Nice brasserie, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The satay was delicious, and the mussels also very good. It's a pity that we couldn't order dinner until half past six, we waited a while for that.

Not a good experience, I was there from 1:25 PM to 1:48 PM waiting for “service” to arrive. A young man (brown hair and tattoos) had said, be there soon after we had raised our hands for the umpteenth time. Waited another 10 minutes... we left. Too bad, nice location, bad service.

We had a nice day in Zeeland yesterday. Come from Limburg. We had a nice meal here. Beautiful brasserie with a beautiful view. Staff were friendly. We will definitely come back here again

Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Uitsmijter Ham en Kaas was goed belegd. Broodje kroket eenvoudig maar lekker. Uitzicht en weer maakte de ervaring compleet.

Very unfortunate, if you think you are going out for a nice meal, you have to wait 45 minutes before you get something. We had ordered a menu but were given the main course first, they had forgotten the starter. Then we started with the main course, which was almost cold and of very poor quality. Didn't have dessert either. This is due to a shortage of staff, this is not how you treat your customers.

Nice but peculiar (toilet) setting, only the staff was not really aware of their product knowledge. Mussels were tasty, but it was a sharing pot for 2 people. Service was not great!

Zero point zero knowledge of gluten-free at the service. Personally, I don't think that's possible. Anyway, the ice cream with whipped cream and strawberries was not only very tasty, but also quite expensive.

Beautiful place with a wide view of the Wester Scheldt. It's a great place to have a coffee or a beer. Advice: when cooking fish for 12 hours, do not put the croquette in any sauce. The crispy croquette becomes soft and that is not tasty.

The farmer's omelet was decent. The bread was really dried out. The service was friendly but difficult to understand. She should have spoken English straight away.

The view is nice, but the staff and food are nothing to write home about. With every dish you get fries and a bowl of vegetables. I don't like certain types of vegetables, so when I asked what kind of vegetables were included, the staff didn't know. Asking the cook was too much to ask so I didn't get any vegetables, while I could see at the neighbors that the types of vegetables that I was not allowed to eat were not among the vegetables. 26 euros for 5 small prawns and a bowl of undercooked fries is an expensive dish. My friend had a pasta: there was barely any sauce and almost no vegetables, 5 pieces of meat. In Vlissingen you can eat 10x better with that many tents, which is a shame.

Beautiful location. Young staff with very little catering experience. You literally have to come and take them in for an order where they hang at the bar. The team leader - hopefully not the owner - nevertheless expects a tip when he comes to pay for your overpriced lunch (not an issue in itself, known in advance). Exceptionally, feelings were not given, the service was really poor, but thank you kindly. Fortunately, when he walks away without saying anything, it turns out to have been the right choice. I was actually surprised, because the people here are all very friendly.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, Vorspeisen und Hauptgericht waren vollkommen ausreichend und sehr lecker. Man hat einen herrlichen Blick auf die kleinen Schiffe und auch die großen Dampfer die vorbeifahren. Ein wirklich sehr angenehmer Abend und auch der Wind kann einem nichts anhaben.
