Beautiful location by the harbor/city, clean and service great...Pancakes, fresh and the taste was fine, a side note: the batter was not cooked through everywhere, this also applies to the bacon, on the other hand, very tasty whipped cream! I went back in later, ordered the fish lunch, which was tasty except for the fish soup, which looked more like salty vegetable tomato soup with chunks of fish in it, and the crab salad was very tasty, though very small. A real shame, because the rest was GREAT.

The view is and remains amazing! We enjoyed ourselves immensely again this time. The food was delicious again and the staff were super polite and friendly again. Even though it was packed.

Stopped here for lunch. Was lovely sat out on the terrace on a lovely day. The food was excellent. We had onion soup, seafood soup, the croquettes and a sandwich, all of which were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful despite us being travel worn and speaking very little/poor Dutch. Would recommend.

This is a nice brasserie right on the waterfront of Vlissingen. It is lively due to passing tourists. The view of pilot boats entering and leaving is nice if you enjoy that. The drinks we ordered were on the table quickly, and a portion of bitterballen was also fixed fast.

Stopped here on the way for an ice cream, but after a drink decided to eat something small first. Portions aren't generous but otherwise okay. At 5:15 PM we asked for the dessert menu, wanting to order at 5:25 PM. Apparently, the menu changes at 5:30 PM sharp, so you can't order an ice cream at 5:25 PM either. When you ask the haughty student employee to at least check in the kitchen, it's eye-rolling and the answer is 'it's bound to be no anyway' before heading to the kitchen. With the result: no ice cream... not very professional action; you can't rely solely on your location.

The food was tasty but really too little, especially for the price. You have to share a normal portion of fries for one person with two people, otherwise you have to order more.

Very nice to sit there on a raised terrace overlooking the Scheldt and the city. Good food, service, atmosphere; the toilet is also clean and spacious.

This may have been a gem years ago, but under the current (new?) owners, it feels more like a tourist trap. Both the food and the service were disappointing, though the food was by far the bigger issue. The whole operation gave the impression of teenagers playing restaurant. The lunch platter was especially awful: a tiny slice of farmed salmon, "crab salad" that was just imitation crab drowning in mayonnaise, a croquette smothered in Thousand Island dressing, and a bland, inedible salad topped with a mushy slice of tomato. The only reason I didn't send everything back was that I was there as a guest of a family member.

Beautiful terrace with beautiful view.

Upon arriving at the table, we had to wait quite a long time before we finally, after a lot of waving and gesturing, managed to get service, even though it really wasn't busy. The food was really tasty, that certainly has to be said!!! However, it took a long time again before we managed to get hold of someone to order more drinks and clear our table. Okay, they are young girls who might not be skilled in that trade yet, but "seeing" work is an art too.

The food was mediocre, and the staff wasn't very customer-friendly. Expensive for what you get. I ordered a crab salad sandwich. It was just a baked bun with a tiny bit of salad. There was nothing else with it. And that for €10!

A very nice and cozy place, had a great meal too, the staff were sweet and lovely. The drinks were nice and cold, really nice on warm days. The salmon fillet and the steak with chili honey butter were truly fantastic 👌🏻👌🏻. We will definitely be back here more often!!!!!

A very nice restaurant. I have a gluten intolerance, and they really catered to that. Fries are fried in a separate fryer, and salads and other dishes can be adapted. A very pleasant atmosphere.

We've been there several years. For food, but also for just coffee or tea. You have a beautiful view. If we sit outside in the fall, the patio heater is available. I'd say, see you next year! So the price per person may vary.

Beautiful location, but the food quality wasn't great...it tasted like stale bread. It also took 10 minutes for my husband to get his food. I told the staff, but all they said was...oooohhh...so sad.

A group of six. The main courses were very meager. A handful of fries to share between two. A small portion of meat or fish and two tablespoons of overcooked yellow and red bell peppers and onions on the plate. When we confronted the waiter about this, she explained that it had been very busy, they were almost sold out, and they were out of vegetables. Anyone who ordered anything else would get a salad. Too bad this wasn't the case for us. We paid full price. If only we had read the reviews. Apparently, it's more of a habit than a coincidence to rip off customers!

A really nice place, especially sitting on the terrace where you can watch the pilot boats come and go. Delicious food, especially the farmer's omelette, which is my favorite. Packed with fresh vegetables. The staff is efficient and friendly. My favorite place in Vlissingen! Went here for lunch again today, September 3, 2025. What a DISAPPOINTMENT this time was the farmer's omelette. There were no vegetables left in it, just some onion strips, a piece of mushroom, and some bacon. It fell apart. I've eaten this here regularly, but this was the last time. The staff were friendly, though; I was told the chef would be spoken to about it.

We've had two delicious meals here in the past few days. Because of a festival on the boulevard, we had a lot of noise on the terrace last Saturday. Yesterday, we had dinner again in peace. Eating here is a wonderful experience. Friendly service and reasonable prices. They're quick and attentive. The only downside: if you order one carpaccio, you get a delicious roll with it. If you order two, you still get one. That was the only disappointment; otherwise, nothing but praise.

A very nice brasserie at the pilot harbour, where you can see all the life on the water to and from Antwerp passing by and also the pilot boats coming and going.

Only had soup. The service from the first (student worker?) was rather stiff. The ladies were friendlier afterward...which is important. It's a nice location, though!

Extremely small portions, and the staff were incredibly unfriendly when confronted about this. We only received one portion of fries to share with our small portion of food. If you order as one person, you get the same portion. According to the staff, this is because, "If you're eating with one person, you're just lucky. Two people share one portion, and don't be silly. If you want more, you have to order more." Extremely unfriendly, especially when the portions are already so small and expensive.

As expected, the prices don't reflect the quality. However, for a cheese sandwich costing just under €6, you really only get a dry sandwich with three slices of Gouda and some salad. A 0.2-liter soft drink isn't available for less than €3. The staff are friendly, but sometimes they get overwhelmed when it's busy. Okay for the location, but there's still room for improvement.

A lovely café with a great view of the sea. There's a good selection of drinks and food. The quality and taste were also very impressive. One small drawback is that the kitchen doesn't open until 12:00 PM. Before then, they only serve drinks and a maximum of one slice of cake. It's a shame, because the café's menu would actually be perfect for brunch. The service was otherwise very friendly, but could have been a bit faster in places. All in all, we can still recommend the restaurant.

The apple pie was way too sweet!! One bite of sugar instead of one bite of apple pie!!! Why would you say that?! Beautiful view though!!! That's why it's still 3 stars.

The location is great, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. They were out of pancakes, but how is that possible? ;-)

Basic food. Little concern for customer satisfaction. Wrong dish received (sandwich instead of a wrap) and replaced only 20 minutes later... when everyone was finished eating 😶

Due to the location, the price is obviously higher, the service is quick with clearing up even if not everyone is finished yet and then you sit there at your empty seat, but this is the only way to generate the turnover that is needed to survive there.

Beautiful location overlooking the Western Scheldt, the pilot boats in action, and the marina. Enjoyed a delicious lunch. The young waitresses could be a bit more proactive; perhaps they needed to get going on a Sunday morning. The young man serving the dishes was more enthusiastic.

While it's a pleasant place to sit, the food was far too expensive for the small portions. €28 for a particularly small portion of mussels with a very small portion of fries to share is too much money. It's a shame. Hopefully, other customers can refute our bad experience.

The current construction work in the pilot boat harbor basin is severely impacting the view and the tranquility. The small elevator to the restrooms is particularly noticeable. Please keep pressing the floor button until you reach the next floor. The restaurant is recommended for a short break.

Friendly service and beautiful view! The food could have been better, the salad with the shrimp croquettes was a bit poor and the shrimp croquettes lacked the distinct shrimp flavor, which was a shame. We also had to wait quite a long time for our food.

We wanted to redeem our gift voucher, it was stated on the site. After eating, one of the employees told us that they did not participate in that nonsense. So people, think before you eat there!! No more repetition for us here!!
