A very clean establishment with friendly staff and a beautiful appearance inside and out. Highly recommended!

Well-filled sandwiches. The flavors were good. I couldn't finish it all. The rest was neatly wrapped and I took it home.

The food took way too long, over an hour. The fries were soggy. We had to ask for cutlery. We got the wrong drink twice. They also don't take away empty glasses and plates. The burger was tasty.

Nice and cozy terrace, but half a baguette with a thin slice of cold meats and a kind of Johma chicken curry salad for €12.50 does not feel like value for money

Nice cozy bistro in Enschede. Went there for a café, cappuccino and a snack. The service was friendly and attentive. The goulash soup and the baguettes tasted good 👍. If the weather is good you can also sit outside.

Had lunch with my son at Willemientje. Staff was friendly and we were helped quickly. The sandwiches were tasty and looked nice. The place itself was very dark and the Christmas lights were still there. But that may be used as lighting all year round. I found it less atmospheric.

What bad service. My partner got a sandwich with still raw chicken. It was handled very laconically. There was barely a sincere apology. According to the staff, it was a nice solution that we did not have to pay for the chicken sandwich. That seems only normal to me... Unfortunately, our holiday ends with a stomach ache.

Food was good so far, we had a cocktail afterwards … service mixed up the order and refused to bring the right cocktail afterwards. They said I would have to pay for both cocktails if I wanna have the right one as well ^^

Very pleasant atmosphere. Staff very friendly, helpful. There is also a German menu. The various burgers are very tasty and highly recommended.

Wij hebben genoten van een groot glas thee (keuze stress, want genoeg smaakjes), een heerlijke cappuccino en daarna verzorgde borden met heerlijke broodjes warm vlees. Personeel was vriendelijk. Ook een aantal Engels sprekend, maar dat is tegenwoordig vrij normaal. Veel studenten in onze stad aan het werk, onze serveerster deed haar uiterste best om Nederlands te spreken. Wij waren zeer tevreden!

What a disappointment, no interest at all in us as customers, really not the way it once was, deeply ashamed of the fact that if you ask for something because of your dietary restrictions, you are not even taken seriously. And then being addressed in English made me think I was really in the Netherlands.

Lekker broodje, maar onaangename ervaring. Ik bestel broodje en koffie. Als broodje geserveerd wordt, wordt mij te verstaan gegeven, dat ik dat niet op mag eten, waar ik zit, maar dat ik ergens achterin aan een tafeltje moet gaan zitten. Ik zit op een lekkere bank, midden in de zaak. Dus opstaan en verkassen is de opdracht Vanwege de kruimels die dan op de grond zouden vallen... Heb je t ooit zo zout gegeten? Ik zou het geen probleem gevonden hebben, als de dame dat meteen gemeld zou hebben toen ik bestelde. Dan was ik nl ergens ander een hapje gaan eten (omdat ik het gewoon niet zo gezellig vind om in mijn eentje aan een tafeltje te gaan zitten in een drukke zaak). Maar op deze manier voelde toch weinig gastvrij. En was mijn eetlust wel enigszins bedorven. Ik heb mijn broodje maar in laten pakken. Hoewel excuses gekregen van de bedrijfsleidster, houd ik Willemientje voorlopig voor gezien.

We discovered the brasserie today. Was so beautifully decorated, even from the outside. Very cozy. The late breakfast was amazing. There were three of us and we all had something different. My husband had Strammer Max with roast beef. I have a baguette with tuna and a fried egg, our daughter has a sandwich with avocado, etc. Plus delicious chocolate with slag. If we go to Enschede again we will definitely have breakfast there again. Everyone is incredibly nice. And their child made our morning 😍😍😍😍he laughed so much, the day was saved 😍😍😍

Small, nice cafe in the city center. Staff very friendly and tried very hard to speak German. Since we weren't very hungry, we ordered a baguette for two, which we then shared, which I thought was a nice gesture...

Burger : Smokey beast + extra Pommes This is the 3. times we have come here to eat. But 3 times we got different burger buns and we always ordered the same. So the first time was a brioche bun, that was sooooo gutttt and the sauce + meat was TOP!! The 2. time was a little disappointing.. they changed the bun, like white bread bun (?), well it was dry. The sauce wasn't spiced.. but meat was good! The 3. time (photo under) was ok... Bun was also a different one. But it tasted better than the white one. Sweet potato fries weren't long enough in the fryer, but still good enough. Well the new summer drink wasn't fair with the price. "Passion & Pineapple lemonade" just feel like from bottle and Pineapple was from frozen fruit... 5,25€ i was expecting more.. and the glass is also small, like 100ml + ice. Sad... Price (2P) : 48€ (include drinks)

We just had cappuccinos, as I was too full to have a Red Velvet cake, unfortunately. loved the cookies that came with the drinks though. I simply have to highlight the service. all of the waitresses were so friendly and cheerful, as a German I’m not used to this. also, the place has a lovely outside area and is perfectly located in the city. food looked good as well. definitely going to come back on my next trip to Enschede!

I had been walking past Willemientje for years with the idea of ​​having dinner there again. Now finally done and very satisfied! Delicious food, quick service despite the crowds (on the day of the Enschede Marathon it was quite full), great experience!

Small goulash soup with bread. Goulash soup was delicious but “small” is really very small. The bread with herb butter was delicious. Latte macchiato was average. The coffee machine next to the counter was really loud. Loud hissing and tapping. All in all we were satisfied. Staff very friendly and also German speaking.

I've been here before, the service has gotten better, but unfortunately the food hasn't. The cappuccino was only 25% full, the rest was filled with foam. I complained and only paid for a cappuccino. The food wasn't really good. No taste. Don't come back again.

Unfriendly service (older lady), expensive handbags should be placed on the floor under the table (without any justification). When we asked if the cake contained alcohol, we were simply left standing (very unfriendly towards adults and children). The younger waitress was very neutral, rather awkward. Drinks and cakes take what feels like an eternity. The older lady was more busy making "announcements" to the guests and putting up their reservation signs. Nice outside, but ugly inside! Smelly toilets, right next to the kitchen!! Not recommendable! Prices were enormous for the low quality and poor service. I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time. Nobody really needs to be surprised!

Very nice atmosphere both outside and inside. The condition is very nice and accommodating! And the food tasted very good too; we each had a burger.

Zeer sfeervol ingericht. Vriendelijk personeel en mooi gevariëerde kaart. Ook fijn dat je klein kan bestellen. Goed verzorgt.

Lunch en later, na nog wat winkelen, diner genoten. Het was beide keren heerlijk! De zaak is gezellig ingericht, zowel binnen als buiten. Het oude karakter van het pand is mooi bewaard, maar toch helemaal van deze tijd. Toiletten bevinden zich boven, te bereiken via een mooie draaiende trap.

Ziet er wel ok uit. Wel leuk in herfst sfeer. Helaas geen keuze in wit of bruin brood! Er was alleen wit tosti brood aanwezig. Kroketten waren te hard (te lang doorgebakken) Uitsmijter smaakte goed, maar de dooiers waren kapot. Prijzen zijn goed, maar de kwaliteit mag dan wel omhoog.

Het gerecht zoete frietjes met geplukte kip gekozen. Friet en kip waarschijnlijk in oven klaargemaakt. Tegen zwartgebakken friet aan en smakeloze kippluisjes. Een afgang. Hebben 2/3 allebei laten staan. Er werd ook niet gevraagd of het naar wens was of is geweest. Een afknapper voor een eenvoudige lunch. Geen vakmensen en ook geen aanrader

Nach dem Shoppen, haben wir hier eine Pause gemacht. Das Restaurant ist okay gewesen, die junge Frau, die uns bedient hat, war ganz nett gewesen. Wir haben uns zwei Hänchenburger mit Pommes und jeweils einen Tee dazu bestellt. Die Burger bestanden nicht aus einem Stück Hänchenbrust, sondern aus einer flachen, großen Hänchen-Frikadelle. Es hat so lala geschmeckt. Eine ältere Angestellte kam, während wir am Essen waren und wollte unsere Einkaufstaschen sowie meine Handtasche unter dem Tisch stellen. Auf meine Frage, wieso sie das tun wolle, bekam ich die Antwort, dass sie das in dem Lokal so möchten. Also tat ich die Einksaufstaschen unter dem Tisch und meine Handtasche behielt ich auf meinem Schoß. Es war für mich sehr störend beim Essen gewesen, da ich meine eine teure Handtasche nicht auf den schmutzigen Boden stellen wollte. Die Toiletten waren im ersten Stock. Die Treppe, ist durch die sehr schmalen Stufen, echt lebensgefährlich. Für Menschen mit einer körperlichen Behinderung nicht zu erreichen. Am Ende bekammen wir die Rechnung und ich war etwas geschockt, da es für Burger und Getränke ziemlich teuer war. Einmal okay, aber kein zweites Mal mehr.

Sehr angenehmes Restaurant. Gemütlich innen, sonnige Plätze draussen. Kleine Karte, aber alle Gerichte haben ihren eigenen Charakter. Gibt das meiste in zwei verschiedenen Portionsgrößen, das ist sehr angenehm. Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service.

De lunch samen met een vriendin in deze sfeervolle en gezellige brasserie was top Alles is superschoon, en de bediening snel en vriendelijk. Ook buiten is het erg sfeervol . Daar is aandacht aan besteed ...wat zich doorzet in alles oa de menukaart en de heerlijke gerechten.

Uriges kleines typisch holländische Café. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Speisekarte auch in Deutsch. Man kann auch vor dem Café sitzen. Weg zum WC in den ersten Stock ist allerdings für Menschen mit Behinderung oder älter etwas schwer oder garnicht möglich, da sehr steile Treppe. Gute Auswahl an leckeren Essen auch Vegan. Preise für Getränke könnten nur etwas günstiger sein, für das essen passen die Preise. Gehen immer gerne wieder dort hin. Ob drinnen Hunde erlaubt sind kann ich nicht sagen, wir hatten unseren nicht mit. Draußen saßen aber viele mit Hund.

Ik begrijp niet waar al deze zeer positieve reviews vandaan komen. Er is weinig mis met de brasserie maar het is ook niet echt heel bijzonder. Voor een bitterlemon 3.50 euro vragen is best veel. Voor een hamburger vragen ze 12.50, optioneel friet is 4.75 euro. De kwaliteit van het eten was de prijs zeer zeker niet waard.

Gezellig ingericht, lekkere soep en belegde broodjes. Vriendelijke bediening, kortom leuke plek om even te gaan lunchen, of iets drinken.

Een simpele koffie doet hier inmiddels 3 euro. Heel lekker was ze niet, wat bitter. Wel goed op temperatuur. Gezellige inrichting.

Erg lekkere broodjes. (Probeer “Nice”). Vriendelijke bediening en lekkere koffie. Wat wil je nog meer. Een aanrader.

Gelegen in een zinstraat van het hoofdwinkel gebied maar meer dan de moeite waard! De hele beleving doet gezellig aan de brasserie is gezellig ingericht, het personeel vriendelijk en de gerechten van goede kwaliteit.
