Brikke Oave in Wijk 05 Brunssum-Centrum

This is the third time this fall they haven't had Hertog Jan bock beer, even though it's on the menu! The service is also very poor (long waits), and the location is on the very busy Rumpenerstraat. The food is decent, but also quite pricey. You won't see me back here anytime soon.

Today I thought to myself, should I order a double espresso ☕️ from those 2 nice, friendly and pretty ladies who were working there that morning and decided to sit down for a while and enjoy the 🔆 there as well, and I must say it was delicious 😉 and when I had finished my espresso I took the dishes inside, paid the bill, and decided right away to give these lovely people a €5 tip, hopefully they can do something nice with it together😁 I gave the lady a warm hand and a smile and apparently I made them very happy too, and put a beautiful smile on my face as well😊

3 bitter lemons after a 4-hour walk on our Brunssummerhei. Overlooking our large pond in our Brunssummer pond park.

It's quite expensive considering the location, but it's a nice place to sit and chat. The service could be a bit more attentive, especially to customers who leave without paying.

Addicted to their Cappucino. Lovely to sit outside! Their food is also really good.

Really great food. Looks directly at the Brunssum Park, a nice view. I am no gourmet but all three meals we ordered were excellent. My hat’s off to the chef!!!

Can a ham sandwich still surprise you? Yes, it certainly can at Brikke Oave. A deliciously crispy roll, thinly sliced ​​(and slightly warm) ham, lettuce, tomato and cucumber and then that delicious, slightly sweet mustard. Sun, a drink, enjoying the view on the terrace and your afternoon can't go wrong.

Food is great. I've had the spareribs here before and the last time the poke bowl. Both super good

Had a nice lunch in the Brikke Oave. Wide choice. What I ordered was delicious, a lot and not too expensive.

Tonight I visited cover band U2 with my husband. I only have one question! Which 🤬 was responsible for the ridiculous heavy Metal music in the background!! Oh what a fun other half hour!! Average visitor was between 50 and 60 years old. The whole evening was just ridiculous 😤 I would therefore like to know why this heavy Metal music was chosen and not just 70's/80's music to get in the mood? I have never experienced something so poorly organised. Thank you very much for the pleasant evening 🤬

We've been sitting in the restaurant for a good 25 minutes and have been ignored so far. The order hasn't been taken yet, let alone looked at. There were hardly any guests.

Feeling upon arrival (8 p.m.) that we were not welcome. 8.30pm last round, while there were others seated. Candles blown out, eyes rolling. Not a nice atmosphere from the waitress. We have never experienced this before. Despite opening time until 10 p.m.

Unfortunately, with the King's Carnival on Sunday, it was very disappointing! Bought vouchers and they turned out not to be redeemable for the site, even though I had asked for this in advance and was told when paying by card. Too bad there was no collaboration....

Been here several times for lunch or just a drink. Nice place, friendly staff and fast service. Also been there once when it was a bit quieter here and the staff was gossiping about each other. This was clearly audible where I was sitting. I personally didn't think it was that neat.

Nice room, just dropping off the coat and picking it up again is a time-consuming activity. Lasts a very long time. It's nice that you can order drinks from the waiters walking around.

Really nice place to get food. Fresh, healthy options along with standard pub favorites. Their fresh-baked bread used in many of the recipes really makes it an appealing meal. Broad selection of drinks and beers, including many Belgian standards. The ladies are all very nice and hard working. Dog friendly, too!

Plenty of choices on the menu, though mostly deep fried food and sandwiches. Prices are a bit steep but manageable and the staff is friendly and attentive. Wonderful atmosphere in the centre of Brunssum, a cosy small town in the South of the Netherlands, close to the German border and JFC Brunssum, one of three NATO operational level command centres :p

Ideal place where the sun often shines beautifully, even with heaters in the shorter hours or in the evening. The map on the table says scan the code and order immediately and you will then see the walking packages. When you order it, they say you can't order it at the time? A bit strange.

Nice location with a view over the Brunssumer pond. If you want a quick drink you shouldn't be there and certainly not if you want something small to eat. You wait a very long time for your order, if you are lucky because if you are unlucky they have forgotten to pass the order on to the kitchen. The prices are expensive for such an amateurish condition.

They work a lot with catering. What comes out of their kitchen downstairs is passable, but don't expect anything special. Toilets smelled, nothing was done about it during the day (weekend). Pricey, but due to their location they regularly get busy. An open management vision could do them a lot of good.

Great place in a central location

Excellent cultural center with a large beautiful terrace. With a view of the pond park.

Reserved for a lunch for two for a birthday. On arrival the table was cheerfully decorated with a garland and hearts, very thoughtful. Service very friendly, it took a little longer due to the crowds, but the delicious food more than made up for it. Also a nice beer list. Highly recommended!!

Sea bass with sweet potato as an attachment. Service was fast and correct. This trip we both had a Club Sandwich. The order was made and served quickly.

Mediocre food. Starter with pork belly was disappointing. Main course was fine.

Delicious food. You could also taste the freshness of the fish. Resoneert is friendly and helpful, and the service is good. We will definitely go back here to eat.

Bad. We were waiting half an hour for our drinks and cake before the Parade started. They had too few staff and were not prepared for the crowds.

I was there a couple of times, on lunchtime. They probably have more animated atmosphere in the evenings (music and such).

Today we have lunch, taco sandwich and lunch at Lindeplein. Delicious food, friendly, alert and prompt service. Lovely seated on the terrace.

Very cozy catering company with a large covered outdoor terrace. Service is very attentive and hospitable. We play bridge there every week.

Prima, goede eten, wel porties kleiner prijs hoger

Vandaag lunch bij Brikke Oave. Soep was prima, niks mis mee. Daarna heel erg lang wachten op simpele gerechten, zoals een uitsmijter. Was erg karig en lauw. Ook ragout stelde niet veel voor, weinig en niks erbij verder. We zijn net thuis en terwijl ik dit schrijf, heeft mijn vrouw een boterham gesmeerd, ze heeft trek. Heb je net ca 45euro uitgegeven. Het was er ook koud binnen, jas aangedaan. Een grote groep en andere tafels hadden eerder hun eten voor zich dan wij, terwijl wij eerder binnen waren. Brikke Oave is prima voor een borrel op het terras, maar lunch en diner doen wij niet meer. Laatst met familie gegeten, bij iedereen was het eten koud, lauw. Heel jammer van zo'n locatie, maar er moet daar echt iets veranderen.

Gezellig, druk terras aan doorgaande weg. Mooi uitzicht op de zgn.Visjesvijver. Voornamelijk locals, op leeftijd. Normale prijzen, heerlijke bitterballen. Prima service!

Eten prima! Ruime porties. Best prijzig, voor redelijk standaard gerechten. Personeel niet echt vriendelijk. Niemand die je begroet bij binnenkomst of weg gaan, is toch een standaard fatsoensnorm.

Vandaag kreeg mijn vrouw koude pancakes. Later gevraagd of deze altijd koud geserveerd werden. Serveerster gaf aan dat deze normaal wel warm behoren te zijn. Dan verwacht ik zelf dat je iets ter compensatie krijgt, een kopje koffie misschien. Maar helaas..... Dat zie ik dan zelf als een gemiste kans.

Lekker pokemon bowl gegeten bediening redelijk , goed terras verder

Laatste avond voor emigratie met ouders en schoonouders hier gegeten. Vaak commentaar gehad op personeel en eten. Maar de jonge dame en heer die vanavond 11 juli het terras bedienende verdienen een dikke pluim. Zelden de laatste jaren bij Brikke Oave zo top bediening gehad. Daarnaast was het eten en de presentatie goed. Als afsluiting van 23 jaar Brunssummer, 5 sterren.

Heel leuk terras. Genoeg te zien en beleven, en de sfeer bepaal jezelf en het gezelschap waar je mee bent. Personeel is vriendelijk, en je kunt daar goed vertoeven.

Overall we enjoyed our lunch at Brikke Oave. We order the crispy chicken sandwich and the cheese steak sandwich. It was average. We enjoyed the location and the service most. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the park.

Met 4 personen gegeten waarvan 1 persoon tevreden was. 2 personen kregen ook lauw bier. 3 man liet grotendeels eten staan. Beetje zonde dat er niks gedaan werd met st commentaar. 2x daar prima gegeten daarom gingen we terug. Nu niet meer.

Bediening liet lang op zich wachten, op het moment dat we de menukaart namen viel hunne Frank.

Prima verzorgd alles en vriendelijk.

Mijn zoon had gala. Mooie plek. de brasserie is ook oke. Eten is ook lekker.

Goede locatie. Gezellig terras.

Prachtige locatie. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, maar dat was ons in de zomer op het terras al opgevallen. Nu waren wij er voor de tribute band #collinsliveexperience Heerlijke muziek, swingen, dansen.... Maar wat ons bij binnenkomst gelijk opviel was dat wij het gevoel hadden een "bingo zaal" binnen te komen. Er stonden allemaal tafeltjes..?? En helemaal achterin de zaal kon je dan staan. Dat is voor een band ZO niet leuk.! Ze vroegen ook meerdere malen te staan en naar voren te komen. Mss een puntje voor een volgend optreden 😉

Zeer lekker gegeten, goede bediening en zeker niet te duur ! Aanrader...

Koning carneval is mijn vriendin van het trapje van het podium gevallen ehbo direct aanwezig dat was goed maar vroeg om een kruk om te zitten maar kreeg ze niet einde middag dat vond ik heel erg geen hulp van de kant van de Brikke Oave

Daar heb ik een lekkere Chocolademelk met slagroom genomen

Op een gezellige zomeravond met een collega gaan borrelen op het terras van die cultureel centrum. De ligging van de zaak ik perfect mooi in het centrum van Brunssum. Pils was zalig getapt en de snacks waren correct afgebakken. Dus al met al een aanrader!

Saté hartstikke lekker, personeel aardig en erg fijne sfeer. Ook het juiste merk pils was tot mijn beschikking. Heb hier heerlijk met mijn kameraden woorden kunnen uitwisselen.
