Delicious food! A truly lovely restaurant in our shopping center in Waddinxveen with a delicious barbecue menu. Excellent service!

Went here for lunch last Tuesday, December 3rd, with a friend. From the reservation to the service to the meal, it was a wonderful experience! The brasserie exudes a cozy atmosphere, and so do the staff! A warm welcome, excellent lunch recommendations, and a pleasant chat! The lunch was also delicious! Highly recommended!

Super fun and friendly people. The 12 o'clock service was also wonderful.

We had a great party at Broer. The staff was fantastic! Friendly people, great atmosphere, and I think they had a great time. It was a fantastic evening and well-organized. The only downside was that Broer's beer wasn't cold. The birthday boy had talked so much about it, and everyone was eager to try it. Those who stayed the longest were still able to enjoy their beer at closing time. Otherwise, I had a fantastic evening!

Today we decided to eat at Broer in Waddinxveen. It wasn't too busy on a Friday evening, so the service was quick with our drinks. We then ordered one of the soups of the day, which, according to the menu, came with bread. The waiter told us it wasn't included (but it is on the menu!). Fortunately, half a slice of artisan bread was quickly brought. The thin mustard soup was rather bland and served in a tea glass. The main courses were really generous portions and correctly prepared. It's a shame the chicken satay turned out to be fatty chicken thigh satay; the pork tenderloin was tender, and the spare ribs fell off the bone 👌🏻. The very small salad on the plate had no dressing, which was a shame. The corn on the cob, which was listed on the menu, was also missing, but we didn't dare ask for it. One of the waitresses was sitting on the bar with her bottom, and when we had finished eating, she asked: "Is everything to your liking?" I think you ask that question while eating. This was, so to speak, a late start. Less than 45 minutes after arriving, we received the bill for almost €51. The soup is €3.25 according to the menu, but the bill actually showed €3.60. The fish dish is €15.95 according to the menu, but we paid €16.55. It was nice to be introduced to something new (for us), but we'll leave it at this one time.

We hadn't been here in a while. My sister was there too. We arrived around noon. The weather was bad, so we looked for a spot inside by the window. After sitting down, I noticed the table wasn't completely clean. It quickly filled up after us. The service was quick and kept everything under control. After ordering, the food arrived quickly. It was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant. The restrooms were a bit outdated.

Way too expensive 1 sandwich for 13 euros

I ordered a salmon sandwich. The salmon was old, with lots of brown bits, and it was very salty.

We were a little later in the afternoon, around 3 pm and the terrace/restaurant was not even half full. Still, it took a while before the service came. Drinks came fairly quickly, food took a while. The 'loaded fries pulled chicken' looked nice, but the taste was mediocre. Portion was average, fries not crispy but a bit soft and soggy, even without chicken on them. Teriyaki sauce very salty and not recommended. Peanut sauce was not possible for me, it came from a jar and contained whey powder. This was neatly sorted out.

The food was fine, really tasty and enough. But the waiting time, apparently the eggs still had to be laid and the cow still had to be milked, took a very long time. Service is also good and friendly!

A few weeks ago we had lunch with 17 people at Broer. Everything was in tip top condition! Food was very tasty and a real plus was that we all had our food at the same time and it was hot!

Had lunch here today. It was tasty and luckily there was still a spot for us. The service was reasonable and the food was tasty. We had the feeling that we had to leave at the end because we were asked twice in a row if we wanted to order something with a less friendly look. It was still thick on top. Was also quite on the expensive side.

Well, it is advisable to do something about the acoustics if there are too many noisy visitors

Nice attractive tent. Service is friendly and helpful. The food was served quickly and was tasty. One point for improvement is the price: For €11.40, a slightly thicker slice of bread with some lettuce, 5 pieces of smoked chicken and a little salsa, I personally think is on the pricey side. I would pay €7-8 for it myself, based on experiences at other brasseries.

Delicious food! Top staff. Point for improvement: There was not enough space, but there was a couple at each four-person table. Introduce double tables and if you have four people, push two of them together.

Zeer goede bediening en gezellige drukte ,houden super rekening met allergieën en maken in de drukke periode een volledig aangepast hoofdgerecht ,top en zeer lekker .

What a ball tent!!! Make a reservation for an evening meal... it says nicely on the door that they close at 6:00 PM today... Don't call or email, no, just close the door!! Never again at this ball tent!! Fun in your own village!! Shame on you!!

Brasserie Broer en Zus (heet tegenwoordig Brasserie Bij Broer) is echt een heerlijke plek voor een goeie wijn, altijd speciale bieren (en zelfs eigen gebrouwen bier). Het eten is echt top. Bijna alles gemaakt op de Komodo bbq's. Als bbq fan, ben ik nog geen één keer teleurgesteld. De eigenaar als ook het personeel zijn gezellig, sociaal en werken hard om het naar je zin te maken. We komen er al jaren en blijven graag komen. Aanrader!

Midden op het plein in een winkelcentrum zit dit restaurant, leuk terras. Super vriendelijke bediening. Kaart voldoende uitgebreid. Ik nam de warme camenbert met toast. Wel lekker maar de toast had iets groter en meer mogen zijn en het gerecht met iets meer aankleding. Zo was het wat kaal.

We have already been to this brasserie a few times. Time and time again great evening deals, like now: steak in butter sauce. A well-known, national steak farmer does not imitate them. Nicely medium baked, good taste and excellent wine! 👍🏻

We walked away after half an hour without eating or drinking. This is because our order had still not been taken, while at least 3 other tables that arrived after us had already been helped and had a drink. This had nothing to do with crowds, but probably due to racial considerations. We cannot conclude otherwise, because my sister-in-law has experienced this once before. I spoke to the waitress about this, but she acted as if her nose was bleeding.

Today I went here for lunch with my partner. When looking at the menu we thought the prices for a sandwich were already on the high side and when it was served our impression was confirmed: the prices are much too high for what you get. The presentation is beautiful, but I have never eaten such an expensive ham sandwich: 1 slice of bread, thin slice of ham (which I think was just ham), grated old cheese and lots of raw vegetables. I walked in to share our experience with them, but it wasn't really addressed. Just a defense and an okay. Not worth repeating for us.

Had lunch here recently. It looks quite nice and the service was fine. Had a goat cheese flatbread. I thought... warm and soft, but it turned out to be slices of cold goat cheese. Fortunately it tasted good, but I actually thought the fact that this sandwich cost EUR 13.20 was exorbitant. You're sitting there in a place where nothing happens, and not on Leidseplein or something like that...! 2 sandwiches and 2 soft drinks... 33 euros...

Delicious food. Friendly staff.. We had a 12 hour and a 1 hour.. Small minus... with the 1 hour a very big sandwich. It could have been less thick. Besides that it was delicious..

Cozy place with friendly staff and tasty sandwiches

This afternoon we had a nice drink and wanted something to nibble on, but the bitterballen and nachos were a disappointment. Later we wanted to eat something, but the chicken satay was gone and the stews were no longer available, which was a disappointment! We have eaten much better there before, hope it will be good next time, good luck!

We came for dinner during a party. It was therefore very noisy.

Nice lunch and a nice cafe! It's just a shame that there are few vegetarian and no vegan options.

Spareribs waren fantastisch! Heerlijk van smaak en mals! Je proefde echt dat ze hier uren werk en liefde aan besteed hadden en rustig hadden laten garen op de green egg. Echt een aanrader.

Hier een paar keer een drankje gedaan of gelunched. Altijd gewoon goed.

Goede lunch gehad op het terras. Kleine kaart, maar genoeg keuze naar onze mening. Wij komen zeker terug!

Gezellig feestje gehad van een collega die 40 jaar was getrouwd. Leuke sfeer, snelle bediening en lekkere hapjes.

Einen super,sonnigen Tag in toller Atmosphäre verbracht. Sehr freundliches Personal! Und das herrliche Essen genossen! Dazu gab es ein selbst gebrautes Bier,was es nur dort gezapft gibt!

Een klein juweel in Waddinxveen. Hier staan goed eten en goed drinken hoog in het vaandel. Kwaliteit en passie bij Broer en Zus. Als BBQ liefhebber is het smullen, aangezien nagenoeg alles van de BBQ komt hier. Een kort praatje met 'Broer' en je snapt dat je hier met een gepassioneerde en gedreven horeca-man te maken hebt. Wij komen hier graag en zo veel mogelijk. Lekker sfeervol genieten. Zowel binnen als op het terras.

Leuk restaurant, eten was goed. Voldoende vriendelijke bediening.

Goede kwaliteit en leuke keuze. Zeer gemotiveerde mensen. Kortom een aanrader.

Heerlijk eten. Gezellige sfeer en vlotte, leuke bediening. Kortom, niets af te keuren en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Nog nooit zo'n lekkere ribeye gegeten. Super!

Moesten erg lang wachten voor we onze bestelling door konden geven. Daarna idem dito voor eten er was.

Gezellig restaurant, heerlijke koffie gedronken met een taartje erbij. Als ik in de buurt kom ik graag weer langs.

De koffie was werkelijk he-le-maal top! Super! Goede sterkte en goed warm/heet. Verder was de service ook prima. Eten was ook goed. Lekker dikke plak brood met gerookte kip. Mijn tafelgenote had een brood met carpaccio. Die was ook prima. Geen 5* want er is altijd ruimte voor verbetering..

Lekker geluncht bij Broer & Zus in Waddinxveen. Gezellig restaurant met een niet al te uitgebreide menukaart. Dit maakt het dat ieder gerecht er goed verzorgd uitziet en net zo goed smaakt als dat het oogt. Echt een aanrader voor een pauze tijdens de lunch.

Was erg gezellig ondanks de enorme regen. Het kwark taartje was overheerlijk

Voor de tweede keer geweest vandaag. Beiden keren service met een glimach en lekker ouderwets persoonlijk! Zie je tegenwoordig nauwelijks meer. Ik hoop dat jullie dit vasthouden. Eten vers bereid, wat wil je nog meer? Aanrader!!

Leuke zaak, lekker eten. Fijne compacte kaart met alsnog genoeg keuze.

Wij komen hier regelmatig. Zomers voor een borrel en hapje op het terras, maar ook kun je er 's winters goed toeven. Laatste keer dat we hier waren was op kerstavond. Super gezellig, en hele avond heerlijk gegeten van een proeverij van zalige gerechten.
