A really great snack bar, also for grabbing a quick cup of coffee and sitting on the terrace; they also always have toys for children to play with. In my opinion, the quality of the snacks is high!

Great location and had a fantastic meal! Delicious fries and the frikandel speciaal was top-notch; that little piece of egg and piece of pickle was so tasty too! I gave four stars only because, in my opinion, there wasn't enough sauce in the fries container, but I will definitely be back and will mention it next time.

We actually arrived just before closing time, but my son and I were allowed to have a nice, quiet meal. I had the chicken schnitzel and my son the chicken burger. Nice fresh bun and fresh lettuce. Good crispy fries. Because he hasn't tried Joppiesauce yet, he was allowed to taste it first. The chicken schnitzel also had a delicious flavor. Very nice, friendly ladies who told us we could eat in peace. Definitely worth a repeat visit and in a good location.

Simply excellent, delicious satay croquette sandwich (better than FB) and warm brown roll with very tasty American steak tartare and fresh orange juice. Delicious.

We had delicious fries. Very friendly service, who brought everything to our table. However, we didn't like the fact that each piece of meat was on a separate plate with a salad garnish. Just fries, sauce, and the meat was more than enough. It was nice that you get proper cutlery and a glass to drink from.

"A gem in the hospitality industry"!!! A homecoming feeling!!! ...from the parking garage on the way to Schouwburg de Harmonie. Thursday evening, October 16, 2025. Upon arrival, a warm welcome from the ladies. The order was taken quickly and very friendly! "It's busy, it might take a while," she said... but it didn't take very long. The food was happily brought upstairs by the very attentive, good-looking young man with red hair!!! WHAT A TOP PERSON!!! The food itself is deliciously prepared. Delicious fries and perfectly baked snacks!!! The peanut sauce is truly amazing!!! *recommended*! Everything is given attention...the food, the guests. They work with passion!! And all for a reasonable price!!! You don't see them like this very often. Many cafeterias in the Netherlands could learn a thing or two from this. We will definitely be back next time!!!!

Wow, just wow! From the warm service to the patio overlooking the canal, this spot is a gem. Well priced and serving classic Dutch dishes like kroketten, satay, and fries with mayo. The atmosphere is cozy, the portions generous, and the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend it!

I regularly eat fries here with a snack. This time an ice cream with my son, good soft ice cream. Nice to see the passion of the ladies behind the counter. Also toilet available.

Before I start . These women really understand their profession and saw that they did it with all their love and passion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, 2nd time in Leeuwarden, I soon noticed that it is a bit more culinary here than in Twente, but we still wanted a good cafeteria, it was nicely located in the center. When we got there once, we thought okay, let's eat fries. But wow, wow, woooooow, this wasn't it. Comparable to ours in Twente, the snacks were really very tasty, had a special cheeseburger frikadel sandwich and a Mexican and 2 fries special. Add a small salad garnish. It was really great. I still don't understand how this arrangement works. Don't want to know, so tasty too. So if you read this review I hope that you will continue with what you are doing, hard work, passion, love and above all quality, but they are truly top quality.

The best is the location. Unfortunately no fries version, but frozen. The frikandel special has a lot of sauce and a quarter egg and a slice of pickle. Special.

Prima cafetaria. Tijdens onze vaarvakantie lagen we met de boot in de prinsentuin en hebben patat en snacks hier bestelt. De patat was lekker doorbakken en absoluut niet vet. Echt een aanrader.

Al sinds mensenheugenis zit deze cafetaria op deze top plek in Leeuwarden. Altijd als ik in Leeuwarden ben, ga ik even bij de zusjes langs. Zo gaaf om te zien, dat ze de liefde voor het vak van hun vader doorzetten. De broodjes zijn in verre omstreken bekend, maar ook de frituur is niet te versmaden. En hoe lief zijn ze.
