Brood- Banketbakkerij Smit Almelo in Wijk 11 De Riet

Ordered a cake and had it delivered over the phone! Everything was arranged perfectly.

I had already asked twice if I could take a look first so my little girl could choose what she wanted, and after the third time having to explain that we wanted to take a look first, we left and got cake elsewhere.

Picked up pastries/pies here for the first time, quality was top-notch, definitely worth repeating 👍🏻

A truly fantastic bakery with very friendly staff. The employee who served me also spoke excellent German – thank you again! I bought two light Casino loaves (toast bread), small apple fritters, and apple cakes. The latter surprised me with a delicious marzipan layer, and the apple fritters were exactly as they should be – crispy, buttery, and delicious, even the next day. The breads are simply superb; they have nothing to do with bagged toast, and many bakers in North Rhine-Westphalia who started selling toast bread in the last few years can't compete. The quality reminds me of a high-end bakery in Düsseldorf – just not the price! As an example, I still remember the "small" apple fritters down to the cent: €0.95. No joke!

A baker who clearly loves his craft. The quality is fine and the shop is neat, clean, and well-organized.

Bought pastries and cheese rolls this morning; the taste was good and everyone really liked the pastries. Friendly people. Great shop.

I bought a loaf of bread this morning and it was all broken, what a shame.

A good pastry shop where you can still buy delicious pastries and bread at an affordable price.

Bought a pastry bar on Saturday to give as a gift on Sunday. This is kindly packaged in a cardboard package that had to be removed from the attic, put a sticker on it and you're done. Unfortunately, the entire pastry bar smells very musty, this is because the cardboard packaging smells very musty, which is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this gift can go in the trash.

Delicious (baguette) bread and pastries. Also delicious kha bread

Cake was delicious as always! Thank you!

Beautiful products Friendly people

Pastries had to have hazelnut foam, there was no foam in it, only fat with some nuts at the bottom and halfway through the apple pie did not see the oven, the employee was busy trying to help and just ignored me, the cones are also very greasy. Paying for everything yourself in the supermarket is not as bad as with this bakery.

Delicious whipped cream progrè cake. What a party!😍

Very good but also very expensive

Been at PrestonPalace for 2 days now, eating pastries from apparently Smit bakery. The moorkop and whipped cream point are great. Wondering what tomorrow will be😋

Hi Bakker Smit The cake I had made was perfect and tasted like more and was not too sweet! Just sweet enough for pies! I recommend Bakker Smit to everyone for cakes! And nice that photo of me on it! Thank you Carlo Sahebzad

Got baguette last week. Wash dry. This was reported on their site. And today we compensated with a free baguette and a delicious cream cake. Top arranged 👍

Come here every year for Christmas, but what happened, I have no idea. You notice it immediately, the staff has changed and that is good for the business. They are well on their way.

Nice thing. Nothing wrong with it

Due to a misunderstanding, the ordered cake was not available. Received a large, delicious cake at a great discount. Top service. In addition, good products and the tastiest low-carb breads.

Delicious bread and pastries and very good service!

delicious truffles and muchllllll more

My Dutch is bad but she was friendly and the frikandel sandwich was tasty

Super bakery! They respond very quickly, if we call on behalf of the company for 100 or 70 pastries, this is no problem. Want to deliver gluten-free pastries? No problem either! Great service

Ordered a delicious cake for my birthday, it was delivered to work on time and tasted delicious!! Thank you Smit bakery, highly recommended!

Traditional bakery, with luxurious pastries

Quality, fresh and friendly staff!!

I was very disappointed, while eating the pastry a black ink-shaped substance came out of the apple pie. It made me sick.

Delicious fresh whipped cream cake. Highly recommended!
