I go to this store especially for the pastries. Edit: my review was for Kraai bakery, the previous owner. I find Nollen's Cossacks less attractive. Dry! Too bad...not worth repeating. Nollen bread is fine. Ham and cheese croissant is delicious!

What a service, we had a breakdown with our scooters in Maria parish, and a cup of coffee was spontaneously made by the lady in the Kraaij bakery, we bought 2 delicious filled cakes, great, thanks again Agnes and Ron

Bakkerij de Kraai visited what a wonderful smell of freshly baked bread and cakes. The bakery has a cozy village atmosphere and a wide range of delicious fresh bread, pastries, cakes and cookies. You can park in front of the store, so if you want a quick message, this is possible. Furthermore, nice service in the store. In short, worth a visit

Today, like many other days, I come to pick up my fresh bread. Normally I am always addressed and treated nicely. Today the weather was lovely and warm and all my tattoos were visible. When I entered, the employee felt the need to immediately insult me in my face with the remark....gosh....you really did yourself in! with the accompanying nasty face that was pulled! I didn't know what I heard! I didn't ask for this negative opinion and I really felt insulted and made a fool of. After I indicated that I found it very annoying how she imposed her negative opinion, she tried to justify it, but I have never felt so uncomfortable. In the future, I will buy my bread elsewhere, where I will be treated with respect.

Binnenhof 3Two weeks ago, there were a few dry Cossacks among them, but I recently got new ones and they were perfect again!! And the people are always friendly.

Violierstraat 5dA truly great bakery with very friendly staff. The employee who served me also spoke excellent German – thanks again! I bought two white Casino breads (toasted breads), small Apple Flapjacks, and Appelkoeken. The latter surprised me with a delicious marzipan coating, and the Apple Flapjacks were just as they should be – crispy, buttery, delicious, and even the next day. The breads are simply fantastic; they have nothing to do with bagged toast anyway, but even many bakers who started with toasted bread here in North Rhine-Westphalia in the last few years can't compete. The quality reminds me of a fancy bakery in Düsseldorf – just not the price! As an example, I still remember the "small" Apple Flapjacks, down to the cent: €0.95. No joke!
