It's a shame the baker still sells soft rolls and rolls (and currant buns) from the previous day, even on Saturdays. It's common knowledge in Tiel that he does this, even back when he had a shop in the Kwadrant district. The current staff says it's all fresh and baked overnight. And that's perfectly logical, of course. However, many staff members, both former and recent, who have worked there, say you have to pay attention to the color of the tape used to seal the roll bags. For example, if they're sealed with yellow tape on a Saturday, any leftovers go into the freezer, and on Monday they're supposedly "fresh" (yellow) back on the shelves. Fresh rolls are baked again on that Monday. You can see the staff packing them with a different color of tape. It could be red, white, or blue, for example. When you ask for fresh rolls, the staff always points to the shelves. Because those have to be used first. Of course, there might already be fresh rolls there, perhaps with the old batch on the front; in that case, notice the difference in the color of the tape. On the last bread days, when only oliebollen and similar items are baked or only cream puffs are sold, you can see for yourself what's left of the soft rolls and currant buns. I even asked a staff member if they were from yesterday, to which she replied affirmatively. So there's a color system using tape when packaging. After all, if everything is fresh, why doesn't the baker just use transparent tape? I don't find the current staff as friendly as they used to be. I once asked a staff member who was packaging the chocolates for fresh currant buns. It was a bit of a disappointment, far from it. The woman didn't have time; a now-former colleague had to help me. I thought, what the hell is this? One single action to hand me a bag of currant buns. I didn't want to make a fuss again. In the past, they would simply give you fresh currant buns, fresh off the baking sheet in a box, if you asked for them because they were just baked and too warm for a bag. I told a former employee at the cash register that rolls aren't always fresh, and something else. She replied that she "doesn't like that," in other words, the kind of former employee spilling the beans. She was the one who told me earlier that a colleague who worked there "hadn't got to expect flowers from them" because that employee "screwed them over by taking sick leave." You don't say that to a customer, do you? Besides, this employee has double standards. I immediately reprimanded her by calling her hypocritical. Nevertheless, I'm giving it four stars because the regular bread is otherwise very good, especially Ceraform. The white bread has a nice, crispy crust. The speculaas and other treats like almond bars are also highly recommended, and of course, the oliebollen. I'm giving the service one star because they're quite difficult when it comes to getting fresh rolls. The more they try, the more customers I tell them they could be from yesterday.

Ordered 5 cakes on Monday, indicated that I needed them early on Friday morning, should I order them before Thursday afternoon? No, they can be picked up on Friday at 8:30 am. “Great, then I'll come get them at 8:30 am.” Friday morning at 8.40 am (it took a while before the store was open and it was my turn) the cakes are not ready yet. Can't say when. Called half an hour later, they are ready. No excuse was made, and when I asked why, the answer was "I don't know, I just started working here and there was no time on the sheet." In a tone as if it is my fault that no time has been agreed. First and last time I order cake here. They're tasty by the way.

Unfortunately, we have been to the Bakery a few times and the bread has NOT been baked. Unfortunately, this is the only fresh bread that my stomach can handle and I can eat, but not for a few days now because it's just not ready, but I have to open it up. Very sorry!

A bakery without bread on Monday!!! while it is open how??? Bakers used to get up at 3am!! But he's probably too tired for that!!…by the way, the bread (if they have it) is OK. I'm always waiting there for a really long time. Good baker but quite annoying!

Been buying sausage rolls there for years. In my opinion the best from Tiel and the surrounding area. The meat is nicely seasoned and the sausages are nicely crispy. And if you like bossebollen you don't necessarily have to drive to Den Bosch, they are just as tasty and just as good here.

Is op zich een goede bakker. Kwaliteit van de producten zijn goed, maar aan de service mogen ze nog werken. Als je om 09:00 uur kom terwijl de winkel al vol open is hebben ze nog geen brood die ze kunnen verkopen. Als je open ben moet je ook alles kunnen verkopen vind ik. Dit vind ik echt erg slechte services

Fijn personeel, en uitstekend brood als de bakker op tijd uit bed kan komen... Al etterlijke malen eind van de ochtend geen of niet snijbaar brood, ik gok het het helaas niet meer

Heerlijk brood, we eten er altijd te veel van als je net vers brood hebt gehaald.

Prima brood en banket, ruime sortering ik koop meestal teveel. Zwaar min punt, bij de kassa afrekenen en mocht je een tasje zijn vergeten laten je gewoon modderen met je gekochte producten. Klantvriendelijkheid kennen ze NIET!!!!

Producten zijn top. Alleen vind ik niet al het personeel even klantvriendelijk. Daardoor kom ik nog maar zelden.

Heerlijk brood. Ik ben verhuisd naar een andere plaats, maar ga hier nog steeds mijn brood halen.Sommige medewerkers zijn niet altijd even alert. Zijn met van alles bezig, behalve met de klant.
