Broodcafé Jaap in Wijk 01 Binnenstad

We had lunch here this week. The menu offered several options, with plenty of meat and vegetarian/vegan options. It was quite difficult to choose. We had the carpaccio and the happy vegan. Everything was fresh and made with love! The staff was friendly and always happy to chat or offer advice. Afterward, we had a cinnamon roll and a brownie. Also highly recommended!

Nice place with fresh products. What I missed, a nice music during our high tea.

What an incredibly good lunchroom this is!! Everything just fits! The service in particular was great...I would even give 6 stars for the atmosphere if I could! Absolutely great🤩🤩🤩

Al zo vaak langs deze leuk uitziende lunchroom gelopen en nu uiteindelijk een keer wat gaan eten. Wat een leuke zaak, gezellig, knus, een open bakkerij, verser kun je het niet krijgen en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Broodje warme geit(enkaas) gegeten......HEERLIJK! GBroodje ziet er kleurrijk uit en heerlijk veel warme geitenkaas.

We enjoyed a delicious High Tea Freshly prepared and super friendly service.. Don't forget to take something tasty with you when you go home.

Never had such a nice TO-GO anywhere! My drink with thoughtful pastry on top. I would rather walk 8 minutes from the station for a warm welcome & attentive gesture than an impersonal and quick walk to the TOGO supermarket. Always come here for my matcha latte with oat milk. Recently tried grandma's cookie jar: all the goodies in a vintage cookie jar. I love the vintage details. Cozy atmosphere. Not many vegan options, but vegetarian.

We bought delicious oliebollen from Jaap. It was just a big party. My compliments!! We will definitely come back next year. Maybe see you then!!

Lieve mensen dit is echt een pareltje ! Jaap bakt alles zelf! Tjonge tjonge met liefde en vakmanschap dat proef je aan alles! De kwaliteit is enorm! Dan met een geweldig team van vrouwlief, dochters en toegewijd personeel. Je kunt alles uitproberen alles is lekker in de hoogste soort. Jaap is de Boss op zijn gebied en weet wat lekker met hoge zorg en toewijding bereid. Leuk geserveerd in de lunchroom een echte aanrader!

what a nice tent. I really enjoyed having a relaxed chat with my girlfriend. We spent a few hours there and enjoyed delicious tea and lunch.

Enjoy a cup of coffee in a homely atmosphere with something tasty from the store (sheep's leg!) or lunch with a well-filled sandwich, plenty of choice! Highly recommended..

I have always had a high regard for this small business that I have followed from the very beginning. Unfortunately today a very bad experience. When I entered there was enough space and I sat at a table that had not been reserved. Ordered drinks. Had a nice chat with someone I hadn't seen in a long time. The table next to us is also occupied and the reservation note on it is placed on our table. The waitress says there's no need to rush. We still have 20 minutes. Weird because when we sat down our table was not reserved. We are not asked if we want anything to drink or eat. After fifteen minutes the owner makes it clear to us that we have to leave because of the reservation. I tell her that the note wasn't there at all when we sat down. The gentleman at the table next to me confirms that it was indeed on his table. I now packed my things and went to pay. No apologies or apologies or thanks for our understanding, nothing...Hospitality as it should not be.

Jaap's chicken fillet; two small sandwiches with 3 paper-thin slices of chicken fillet, a teaspoon of cranberry jam and a few pine nuts for € 10.50. No, that doesn't even deserve 2 stars.

Price quality absurd. Very little (but tasty) food for your money

Really fantastic apple pie, very cozy city garden and it smells great with that fresh bread smell. The interior is also very attractively decorated. It's a good thing we had done some research beforehand to find nice places during the city walk, otherwise we would have probably walked past it.

Dordt has become more fun over the past 10 years.... Broodcafé Jaap is a very nice and tasty example of this. Will become a regular stop when I go to the also great market with my girl. Top +10.

The cutlery was delivered in a tin that was downright dirty... Not really recommended.

Super nice eatery with nice vintage details that some reviewers compare to old and dirty, but it is absolutely clean. Price is comparable to other eateries and the Dordrecht sheep leg with coffee is an absolute must!! See you soon!!

A cozy and delicious lunch on the terrace in the garden. It was very busy, so the staff could hardly keep up.

Fairly easy to miss in the list, because you don't expect it here and it doesn't really stand out. You can easily walk past it... but if you don't and step inside... you will find a hidden gem to enjoy lunch or coffee and something sweet. We came for lunch, but only left after a 'coffee and sweets'. And be sure to use that tip to do the same. It's already cozy inside. An attractive space. With the sun shining, the courtyard garden was now an equally nice, cozy place. A menu with a nice diversity of food choices for a very reasonable price. We ate the smoked chicken sandwich and pancakes. The sandwich was a bit simple in fillings, but tasty and the bread was very tasty. The pancakes were generous and delicious. We also saw many other tasty treats around us, such as scrambled eggs, club pulled chicken and croque. Definitely sandwiches that I would try next time. And if you still have room. Then don't leave without eating the sheep's leg. Oh what a delicacy ♡ All in all I enjoyed this place!

Have a delicious breakfast. Yogurt with granola, fresh fruit and honey and it was definitely enough because I couldn't finish it. With a cup of tea. Highly recommended.

Hoi ik heb daar een bestelling geplaatst het broodje was niet goed bereid naar de zaak gebeld en een zeer onvriendelijk respectloze man aan de telefoon gehad hij zij ik ga je geen broodje je geven niet mijn probleem maar het is zeker wel zijn probleem want als je een broodje niet goed belegd moet je hem opnieuw maken staat ook in ze voorwaarden ik heb thuisbezorgd een appje gestuurd hier over dus let op DEZE VENT GEEFT GEEN GELD TERUG ALS HIJ BROODJES NIET GOED LEVERD ZEER ASSOCIAL!!!

Outrageous to charge €9.50 for 2 small sandwiches with some tuna salad in between! Very tasty but not worth €9.50. I will definitely NOT order from you again!

Had a great lunch at Broodcafé Jaap yesterday. The minced meat of the hot sandwich was nice and spicy, of course with very tasty bread. The espresso was also really hot - not lukewarm before you can take a sip. And the eggnog latte is a great, something-different hot drink.

De meest heerlijke, beste, lekkerste bokkepoten die gelden als een hele lunch, zo groot is die!!

Lekker cosy en huiselijke sfeer. Prima lekker brood,kaas en eitje en bakkie koffie en verse jus.

Op basis van recensies hier geluncht. Niet onaardig, maar beetje smakeloos. Ik had Kip van Jaap. Geen sausje oid. Beetje droog. Dus op basis van de recensies waren de verwachtingen iets te hoog gespannen. Personeel is heel aardig en de ambiance is ook leuk.

Lang moeten wachten op opname van onze lunchbestelling. Tosti was héél klein en dus echt niet genoeg.

Heerlijk brood en vriendelijke bediening. Zeker een aanrader en een plek om terug te komen.

Weer een lekker weekend bij Jaap. Dat zijn de betere geniet momentjes. Vele lekkernijen, heerlijke broden en vandaag zelfs lekkere grote bokkepoten reeds omgedoopt tot Schapenpoten met witte voetjes & witte chocolade. Echt ontzettend lekker. Lekker om aan te bieden met visite. Hoop dat Jaap ze nog veel gaat bakken. Bedankt heren. Intens genoten van deze lekkernij. 👍 Vandaag hadden we met een aantal leuke gezellige heren de Schapenpoten Challenge. Zoveel mogelijk Schapenpoten naar binnen werken binnen 15 Minuten. 🤣. Leuk en gezellig restaurantje. Vriendelijk personeel en superleuk ingericht Er worden allerlei lekkere dingen zelf gemaakt. Ik had een schapenkop mergpijp . was heerlijk . Grote merg pijn met mokka crème ertussen en witte chocola er boven op. Vriendin had een kaneelbroodjes,is ook altijd heerlijk.

Een gezellig familiebedrijf waar je altijd welkom bent. Een mooie kaart met heerlijke gerechten. En als je gaat afrekenen kom je nog meer leuke en lekkere dingen tegen. Probeer zeker een keer de schapenpoten!!!

Gezellig niet groot maar aangeraden lekker geluncht

Heerlijke knusse plek voor ontbijt, lunch en borrelen. Ik kom er graag en het brood wordt vers gebakken door Jaap! Vele lekkers vanuit de bakkerij te nuttigen in het restaurant.

In één woord: Fantastisch! Met 13 personen een heerlijke en verzorgde Hightea in de gezellige, knusse stadstuin.

Amazing collection of equipment, in use, on display, busy little establishment on a Saturday. Fabulous to see the baker at work. The owners were very welcoming & accomodating. Food very fresh, decor very interesting. Things to see at every angle. English speaking, great character. Easy location. Will go again.

De zaak ziet er erg leuk uit. De bediening is vriendelijk. De blend die gebruikt wordt voor de espresso en de koffie vonden wij niet lekker. De twee dames die er waren voerden een te luid gesprek met elkaar en met een klant. Daardoor was er te veel lawaai, de akoestiek is niet geweldig. Bovendien hoeven wij niet alles te weten van een vreemde. We namen nog een eierkoek mee die wij niet bijzonder vonden.
