Delicious sandwiches (special with warm brie, honey and crispy chicken!), nice staff. The design lives up to the name of the business; the monkeys are well represented. Prices are a little higher than on the website menu, but hey - everything has become more expensive recently.

Very friendly people, friendly atmosphere and the kitchen smells wonderful. 11/30: Today I had a delicious cappuccino with strawberry waffle. Super delicious! And the price was really good for this quality. Already started snacking, ate half before taking the photo. Couldn't wait. I definitely recommend it to others and will definitely come back again

Very nice small lunchroom with pleasant owner. Something was sold out on the menu, but someone went to the store to get it for the children.

We were a group of 17 people and we had a menu choice in advance. The owner and waitress had to work hard because other tables were also occupied. We did not sit at a large table, but actually had a very pleasant time at the low and high tables. This gave us a very friendly atmosphere, which made it very enjoyable. Un-Dutch cozy actually. The owner came to have a chat afterwards and said that she was of Greek descent and found this (living room) atmosphere very important. And last but not least, the food was very tasty. Lots of good things for the coming years. You deserve it!

Very nice lunchroom and we will definitely come back! Came in with 9 people and asked if we could eat something quickly! She made us delicious toasts, etc n we were able to go to our next appointment on time. Next time I will take more time and also want to have an extensive lunch. The quality of the food is really good and the coffee too!

Went here yesterday for a quick lunch. This resulted in a wait of more than 1.5 hours for a sandwich. This was literally a monkey sandwich... 2 sandwiches with 1 piece of chicken, made with 100% peanut butter. 0 atmosphere, no music. Grandpa and grandma watch how everything goes wrong. Never again for me! Best part of the lunch was the slice of pickle and ready-made atjar! (If your guests wait 1.5 hours, do not have lunch as staff in front of the guest..) Scandalous!

What a discovery, a super nice place with lovely service, mothers and lots of monkeys. Also, of course, delicious food and drinks. If you are in the area, I recommend that you definitely stop in.

A very tasty sandwich and a delicious dessert. It was very slow, hence only four stars.

Just terrible, the waitress said it was her first day alone, which was half an excuse for this experience. 2 tables in front of us, of which 1 table already said that they almost had to move on and had been waiting for the food for a long time. We order 1 Cava, 2 iced coffees and 2 x tuna sandwiches. The Cava was not in stock, the iced coffees were not cold, some ice cubes were simply added to cool down, this is not iced coffee. We had to wait 1 hour for our sandwich, the bread was hard toasted, it scratched the palate, just some lettuce and certainly no fresh tuna for this price and the long wait made us feel ripped off and money lost, meanwhile it was full and 2 couples already left the place because of it. long waits, when we heard orders it was constant, we don't have this and that ingredient. The waitress was also constantly talking on her mobile phone. Not recommended

After a boat tour through the harbor, I discovered this restaurant with a great rating via Google. Small menu, super friendly and really tasty. I had Broodje AAP (sandwich with chicken in satay sauce) and fries. Rarely, or rather never, have I had such a great snack with so few ingredients (and the price). Everything fresh to the point, beautifully prepared with great service. My wife's pita (Adonis) was great too. The restaurant is an insider tip for me. A chic, honest, delicious, lovingly prepared dish at a great price. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests. ❤️

The sandwich was amazing, I've never eaten anything like that before and I was really impressed. My daughter had pancaces with a lot of chocolate 😉 In addition, the service was outstanding, you feel welcome and really like a guest. This restaurant was the absolute highlight in Rotterdam for us.

I was here on a Tuesday at around 4pm. The location looked nice and cozy. Love the ape theme. We were greeted with a friendly smile, so far so good. Some menu options were unavailable, the waffle machine was broken but it was offered to just prepare it like a pancake. We ordered an omelette, two sandwiches and a waffle/pancake plus drinks. From this point onwards it went downhill. The wait for the food was way too long. It took around half an hour until we got what we ordered. And the staff was standing in the kitchen, looking bored, talking, eating and moving in slow motion. The food was not nice to look at when it finally arrived. No love in it whatsoever. And no, it was not tasty, either. I have not the slightest clue how this place reached a 4.8 rating. Was this the replacement staff because everyone was on sick leave? I don't know. And I will certainly not return to find out.

Nice lunchroom, where we had a nice lunch with both granddaughters. The service is very friendly and attentive, the food is excellent and the price is reasonable. In short, highly recommended.

We were here with 5 girls, the owner was super friendly, she translated the menu into English for us since we don't speak Dutch, the atmosphere is super inviting and quiet. Food also tasted great. We were able to take the food with us.

Super cozy location for a high tea! Sandwiches were tasty and enough. The desserts were delicious and too much. We didn't eat everything, but we were able to take it with us. I would like to emphasize that the staff was very friendly and energetic. Recommended! We had a super busy afternoon.

Ein super Laden mit sehr engagierten Mitarbeitern. Hier gibt es u.a. die besten Pommes der Welt. Sowohl der minttee als auch der Espresso sind super.

Voor onze bezoek aan remastered nog even hier geluncht. Je kan hier erg leuk zitten en er is erg vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader als je in de buurt bent.

Heerlijk geluncht tegen schappelijke prijzen. Wat echt opviel was de goede en zeer klantvriendelijke service. Dit gaf het eten extra smaak.

Met Vaderdag gekozen om hier te gaan lunchen en geen moment spijt gehad. Niet gereserveerd maar dat was geen probleem, eerst even buiten op het terras een drankje en voorafje gedaan totdat er binnen een tafel vrij kwam. (het dreigde te gaan regen dus wilden we binnen gaan zitten, bleef uiteindelijk droog). De bediening (denk eigenaresse) was super en het eten was ook erg lekker en ruim in keuze.

Das Restaurant hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Als Menü hatte ich das Adonis gewählt. Es war sehr lecker und ausreichend, auch der Preis war überaus angenehm.

We waren met velen en daardoor duurde het wat langer. Maar... ze deden erg hun best om het ons naar de zin te maken. Lekker eten en grote porties.

Na een rondvaart met de Spido hier geluncht. Er bestaan dus nog steeds horecagelegenheden waar t goed toeven is. Dit is er zo een. Wat een verademing. Zeer vriendelijke, attente en gezellige bediening. Zeer gevarieerde lunchkaart. Lekkere en leuke gerechten en dit ook nog eens tegen zeer redelijke prijzen. M.a.w. zeer goede prijs kwaliteitsverhouding. Hier ga je met een goed gevoel weg. Je voelt je hier welkom. Kortom een aanrader.
