Excellent sandwiches super stuffed with quality ingredients.

I've been coming here for lunch every Friday for years.

Been here for the third time with my mom. Delicious sandwiches, nice staff too. The steak tartare is really recommended.

Had a great meal with the most fantastic Italian sandwiches. Friendly staff.

There really is nothing better than a ciabatta bistecca with an ice-cold San Pelle Limonata. Okay, maybe the iced coffee then... it's really tasty!

I want to share our recent experience at this place. We used to come and take away focaccias quite often, and so far we liked it. But this time when we took our focaccias, we decided to take a seat at the high table (there were plenty available of tables). But the waiter approached us and told that the house rules state that if we already bought takeaway focaccias, we can’t take a seat. It was confusing, frustrating and very sad. There were plenty of tables and we could have been told something like “hey guys, if guests will come to eat here, I will ask you to free the table, ok?” But when we told that we would like to order drinks, we still got a negative reply, and we left. We are still your customers even if we buy takeaway focaccias, we were going to come by one day and have a full lunch when we have time, but now it’s so broken, so unpleasant aftertaste that we won’t come back. I am very sad.

I just stood at the door at 4:45 PM to buy something, they were already cleaning, saw me standing at the door and didn't open it... nor did they walk to the door. Disappointing!

A colleague of mine recommended this restaurant and he said it was his favorite restaurant and to get the Bistecca. We came here 10 minutes after opening, half of the tables were already taken so very popular restaurant. We ordered the Bistecca (roast beef rib, parmesan cheese, truffle mayonnaise) and the Guliano (Parma ham, buffalo mozzarella, parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes). Both sandwiches were really good but you cannot beat the Bistecca, that is their number one sandwich for a reason. Amazing meat, bread and truffle mayo. Servers were nice as well!

We arrived around 3 pm and were able to walk straight through. We were served quickly and friendly, and the sandwiches were delicious. I definitely recommend the Dolomiti sandwich and New York Meatballs!

Best sandwiches in Rotterdam!!! Very busy, especially on weekends, so if you don't feel like waiting, it is not recommended. But I think it's more than worth the wait!

I am originally from Rotterdam but now live in Zeeland. But when I am in Rotterdam... yesterday I had lunch with a friend again DELICIOUS and her addition was what an incredibly friendly staff, everyone says hello, very special

Waited 1.5 hours for two sandwiches (the same variant twice), the staff only found out after asking. Ultimately had to take it with me due to time, unfortunately no drink on the house or anything…. Sandwiches were tasty, but definitely not worth repeating given the super poor service. Very unfortunate that we now missed a potential regular customer.

Only delicious Italian sandwiches. Been here at least 10 times and never disappointed. The restaurant is always busy, sometimes you have to wait a while, but it is definitely worth it.

Asked for an extra glass of hot water as the mint tea we ordered had to much mint (3-4 branches with huge stems in a small glass), it took 2 sips to finish it. The lady was so rude and told us off saying she will charge us for an extra mint tea. We would have been okay with that but her attitude made us feel borderline attacked. The food was fine.

High quality sandwiches, you can feel the attention to detail with the different types of bread, the ingredients selection and even the salt used (big grains for the porchetta which fit so good!). Quantity is also big enough. Kind service, a bit slow but the place was full so it’s understandable and good things take time. I also recommend the cheese platter for starter

Today I wanted to eat a sandwich and was completely ready for it, but a disappointment. I was there at 4 o'clock and you would think that you could still order everything. Unfortunately, only a panini because they closed earlier. It had been quiet, so I went. we better close early You can't make this, I did eat the panini, it was delicious, that's not the point, but I would have preferred a sandwich Hope we have better luck next time and that they don't close sooner because that's really not possible Quite funny

Got a Gallo (chicken thigh) sandwich here this afternoon. The sandwich was fine, but for €14 you can expect more. The filling constantly falls out of the bun, why give the sauce separately from the bun?

Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes before you can get a table, but this does not alter the fact that the wait is worth it. The food is sublime. It seems very busy and small when you look inside, but despite the many people who can sit there, you are not bothered by each other's noise, which makes it very pleasant to eat delicious sandwiches and other dishes here. Very tasty and good fresh products. Pricey but definitely worth it.

Have eaten several times and always fantastic food! Always had to queue for a seat, but you get used to that now. Very nice staff who help quickly and friendly despite the enormous crowds.

I was really looking forward to try this place based on the reviews, but was disappointed about the flavor of the bistecca sandwich. Definitely missing the Italian flavors and seasoning... there was nothing Italian about it. Even the ciabatta didn't feel fresh nor flavorful, but dry and crunchy. I had to add salt and pepper to make it taste like something, as it also comes with a bullop of truffle mayo, which makes it basically just taste like that... truffle mayo.... so I guess this is why it's so popular among the local palate. Also ordered a glass of their wines and it was barely drinkable. Not a fresh bottle for sure. Service was good and fast. Atmosphere inside the restaurant feels cramped and busy. Might give it another chance and try a different sandwich, next time.

Great place but ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUSLY DOESNT TAKE CREDIT CARDS. This is insane. I have traveled around the Netherlands for a month and had my US credit card rejected twice in very remote area small businesses. This restaurant is one of the most busy in Rotterdam. They need to reevaluate their payment options. Food and service wonderful.

Excellent case! Service was good and extremely correct. Atmosphere was pleasant, but during lunch time the queue is right next to you to see if everyone is making progress. But that is of course a good sign: that people are willing to wait for a table. Or having lunch earlier or later is customary for me and colleagues. We arrived right on time with six people, because there were long queues after us.

We walked past here by chance. Waited for a table in consultation with the host. Then had a super delicious lunch! Everything deliciously fresh and the staff is very friendly. We will definitely come back here when we are in Rotterdam again. Great business!

Tasty sandwiches, but the price-quality ratio is not right. There was a choice of 4 sandwiches to go. Small sandwich (vegetariana with gorgonzola) chosen, but paying 9.50 for it is bizarre. I used to love getting sandwiches, but now it's getting crazy

The tastiest sandwich I have ever eaten

We have been regular customers here for years and are always very satisfied. You have to wait a long time for a spot, but we always thought it was worth it. Today we were again waiting in a long line until a well-known Dutchman walked in with his girlfriend (who, by the way, followed neatly at the back). The staff did not know how quickly to approach them to indicate that there was probably still a spot for them and they could immediately join us. Which caused a lot of indignation from the other waiting guests. By the way, we left immediately together with a few other people. Very unprofessional and ill-mannered.

the BEST place for lunch in Rotterdam, the staff is very attentive and friendly. It’s always packed so you will most likely have to wait for a table. The food is simply amazing, I recommend getting the Bistecca!

During lunch, I had a great time with my colleagues and enjoyed my meal. However, I found a piece of hair in my food, which indicates that the kitchen crew should wear cooking hats to avoid such incidents in the future.

Top zaak, hier krijg je waar voor geld. In principe ga ik nooit wachten tot er een tafel beschikbaar is. Maar voor deze zaak maak ik een uitzondering.

Guliano's is my favourite lunch place in the Netherlands. I live about an hour away by car and every couple of months I drive all the way to Rotterdam to eat here, and take one or two sandwiches to go. Last sunday I treated a friend for his birthday here. I had the Gallo and took a Bistecca home together with a jar of their amazing truffle sauce. It makes me really happy when I get to eat their food!

Een heerlijk broodje! Lekker makkelijk af te halen met het raam vanaf de winkelstraat. Broodje Bistecca was volgens de medewerkers 1 van de toppers: Een focaccia broodje met dungesneden runderrib, parmezaanse kaas en truffelmayonaise.

Leuk lunch restaurantje met lekkere gerechten. Bediening is snel en vriendelijk. Lekkerste espresso ever! Enig minpuntje is de prijs van een glaasje alcohol.

Great little sandwich place. I had the "New York Meatballs" being from NY I am not sure what makes them from NY but I will say it was absolutely delicious. Definitely try to go on off hours because it is a local hotspot and fill up quick!

Bij Guliano eet je volgens mij de beste broodjes van de stad. In dit kleine lunchzaakje aan de Meent eet je authentieke Italiaanse lunchgerechten. De focaccia bistecca met runderrib en huisgemaakte truffelmayo zijn een absolute aanrader. Maar ook de truffelburger is er 1 om hier te noemen. Bij deze altijd drukke zaak kun je de heerlijke sandwiches overigens ook afhalen en ze bezorgen thuis. Wat wil je nog meer?!

Heerlijke lunch voor een goede prijs!

Met een groep hier gegeten. Erg druk maar gelukkig waren we de grote drukte net voor. Beetje last van keuzestress want er was erg veel keus op het menu. Mooie gezellige zaak met zeer vers en smakelijke gerechten. De tafels zijn wat klein maar is begrijpelijk om zo veel mogelijk mensen van dienst te kunnen zijn. Vriendelijk en veel personeel. Zeer aan te bevelen.

Volgens mij is echt elk broodje hier onwijs lekker. De guliano is een klassieker waarbij je bord compleet vol ligt. Vandaag voor een broodje met rivierkreeft en surimi salade genomen. Heerlijk fris en het broodje was perfect afgebakken. Ik wil eigenlijk de hele kaart uitspelen. Volgende keer weer een ander proberen!

Onwijs lekkere broodjes, vooral broodje Gallo met kippendijen! Het lekkerste broodje van Rotterdam voor de lunch. Alles smaakt zo vers en is met aandacht bereid, geweldig. 5 sterren!

Het eten is hier heelijk, Ik kom regelmatig terug voor een broodje Carne Cruda. De bediening is vriendelijk en probeert je zo snel mogelijk te helpen.

De lekkerste en goed belegde broodjes van Rotterdam!! Altijd oprecht vriendelijke bediening!
