The most delicious bread in Almere! Super fresh, super cozy, and also perfect for larger groups.

My son had spotted this bakery much earlier than I did, but I believed him. About a month and a half ago, I finally went and didn't regret it. Bread as it should be and taste. And with only a few ingredients. The aroma inside immediately transported me back to the bakery where my mother used to get her bread during my childhood (now 52 years old). The breads are delicious, but the rolls, (chocolate) cross-stuffs, currant buns, and buns are just as good. Highly recommended if you want pure bread without added E numbers and other irrelevant ingredients like those found in supermarket breads...

Very nice atmosphere, friendly men, tuna sandwich was perfect, croissant also nice and big, only the butter and the jam was almost nothing, I indicated but I will definitely come back again, nice to sit

On my son's recommendation, I went to this bakery, and it was a success. You do need to be patient, though, as everyone receives personalized service; they're always willing to think along and offer recommendations. When we got home, we had a bread meal in the evening, and I should have stopped at just two sandwiches because the bread is incredibly nutritious, and you can tell right away. Highly recommended. They're only open four mornings, from Thursday to Sunday.

This is how bread should be. 4 ingredients, no fuss. Once you've eaten this, you'll never go to the supermarket again.

After getting tired of the bread from the supermarket, I was tipped to go to Broodletter. I was amazed at what I saw there, a working bakery with passionate staff. Wonderful to see how bread is made with love. Due to the amount of handiwork, it is of course slightly more expensive than at AH, but much tastier.

On October 19, as a regular customer, I picked up filled cookies from the Broodletter. These were ordered and paid for well in time. Upon arrival at home, the cookies did not taste as expected and I tried to resolve this neatly by driving back to the store. During my brief explanation in the store about the fact that after a few bites I thought the cookies tasted tough, burnt and some were undercooked and that they were a bit crumbly because I also broke some of them to confirm the texture and quality, Mrs. Ekeler shot , owner, in defense about her own baked filled cakes. She made it seem like I was crazy. According to her, all her filled cakes suddenly always look like this and she has never baked them differently. I told the lady that that is not correct and that instead of defending her product, it would be polite if she took my complaint seriously. She didn't think this was important because she didn't let me finish talking and kept firing at me with arguments to strengthen her story. In fact, she started eating the cookies in front of me just to prove that there was nothing wrong with them. That looked very unprofessional and weird to me at the time. There was no sincere apology. Nor comforting words that next week will be better. Instead of that, she guaranteed me that they will turn out the same way next week and I walked away confused, disappointed and a bit surprised. How can it be like this?... I wondered that she is taking this personally and not from a business perspective? I then sent an email to confirm the newly made appointment, after I returned home, that I would receive my order again on Saturday, October 26, and addressed it to the employee who had initially responded to my order. To my surprise I received a personal message from owner Mrs. Ekeler that she now feels threatened and that I did not want to listen to her. She wanted to cancel my already paid order by email by requesting my account number and informed me that she did not want to accept any more orders from me. I think I was the one with a complaint and she was the one who should have listened to it and acted on it. So I find it very strange because it seems as if the roles are reversed. I cannot put into perspective how and when I threatened Mrs. about filled cookies, this is absurd and did not happen at all. I find it very unfortunate and unethical how criticism is handled from her perspective. That tells me a lot about people, which has given me a very negative image of De Broodletter in terms of personality and customer friendliness. Unreal how an order suddenly seems to have turned out like a dramatic soap opera, action, horror, or similar film and all this because of a little feedback about not properly baked filled cakes!

Never again will we buy bread at the supermarket! Support your locals.

Tasty, traditional and the best of Almere. The cafeteria is also perfect. The coffee there is very good. I come every now and then to drink an espresso or a capuccino, along with a croissant.

One of the best places for sourdough breads. The bread tastes delicious, service was friendly and the ambiance was cozy. Most recommended.

Very cute bakery, hidden in a small street and through some greenery. Bread made with flour from organic grains obtained from stone mills and without any additives. The rising (fermentation) is done using sourdough (no baking powder). Possibility to order via the internet Boulangerie très mignonne, cachée dans une petite rue et au environment de la verdure. Pain is the basis of the raw materials of the biological processes that are part of the moulins and pierre and without additional additives. Coincidentally, during a visit to the area today, we came across this cute bakery. We brought a delicious bread with pumpkin seeds to taste together with some homemade cookies. Man, how delicious! Definitely recommended to go out for this on a Saturday morning. Very friendly people and a nice atmosphere with a wonderful smell of freshly baked bread in the store. We will definitely place an order for pickup soon, because we also want to taste the Croissants now!

Won a fantastic breakfast in a competition. I haven't eaten such tasty fresh things from a real baker in a long time. The people were very nice and the coconut macaroons were NOT TO BE DONE! The tastiest I have ever tasted. It's more than worth the 25 minute drive 😍

Dit is pas een echte warme bakker! ❤️ Het ambtelijke zuurdesembrood van de Broodletter is veel lekkerder dan gistbrood en vooral ook niet zuur. Goed verteerbaar en fijn dat het voor ons dat deze bakker bijna om de hoek zit. 🍞🥐🥖👌👍

Heerlijk brood, vriendelijke mensen, mooi assortiment

Heel erg lekker desembrood, luchtig en smaakvol. Van alleen water, meel en zout, zonder toevoegingen. Geen zuur brood wat na 1 dag erg droog of hard is. En de lekkerste croissants :) Afgelopen weekend een workshop gedaan om zelf desembrood te leren bakken, echt een aanrader!

Alles is lekker hier, al het brood is dezem brood en dat heeft nog nooit zo goed gesmaakt. Brood wordt daar met liefde gemaakt, super aardig personeel, let op alleen op vrijdag en zaterdag open maar online bestellen kan ook. Een topper voor Almere buiten.

Fantastisch om hier je brood en ander lekkers te kopen. Wij zijn groot fan van de appelbollen maar de verschillende soorten desembroden zijn smaakvol, knapperig en heerlijk. Zo blij met deze lokale bakkerij die het meel van de lokale boeren in Flevoland haalt. Aanwinst voor Almere-Buiten!

De lekkerste en vriendelijkste bakker uit Almere. De olijftwisters zijn bij ons favoriet. Heerlijk bij de soep of de borrel. Gewoon top! 🌾

Elke zaterdag genieten wij weer van de heerlijke vers gebakken desem broden, croissants, uienbroden, koeken enz. Alles is ambachtelijk gemaakt met biologische granen, zonder extra gluten en houdbaarheidsmiddelen. Fiona is zeer klantvriendelijk en attent en bakt alleen op bestelling, hierdoor hoeft zij niets weg te gooien. Ze gebruikt vooral milieuvriendelijke materialen en werkt samen met lokale ondernemers. Daarom zijn wij fan!
