Coffee was lukewarm. Too bad. No more fresh whole bread sold. Too bad. Staff is very friendly

A very nice nostalgic lunch spot. It feels like you are visiting grandpa and grandma (from the coffee cans on display to the salmon pink toilet seat with tulips). And above all, you have lunch here for a nice price; It doesn't happen often anymore that I have lunch somewhere with a drink for less than 12 euros per person. Small side note: the menu seemed more extensive a few months ago, there was less choice now and I missed the Oud Haarlem sandwich. But I'm not going to give less stars for that ;)

Beautiful building and the staff were very attentive. The three members of staff had an effortless way of working their team work was incredible.

Stopped by here by chance looking for lunch: super tasty bread that really fills you up, friendly service, nice atmosphere and a really good price-performance ratio. All in all, I can only recommend it!

Recently taken over, but nice owner and increasingly tasty choice. I honestly find this owner friendlier than the previous people...... Coffee is delicious! Quiet classical background music is great. The price of a simple croissant, for example, could be lowered a bit.... For locals, 3.50 is a lot..... Maybe work with a savings card or something, so that locals are compensated a little if they come there a lot.

Quite tasty dishes and nice interior, but the staff is super slow... it took them 40 min to prepare a sandwich. Ridiculous

Changed ownership but still cozy, nice service and tasty things.

Recently acquired. Is no longer a bakery. Empty display case and pistolet that is not special. Still has a lot of work to do to make it interesting and distinctive.

Today the three of us had lunch at the Broodmand in Haarlem. Cozy place, nice staff and delicious sandwiches. We felt very comfortable. And how nice are all those gifts that are for sale. Worth repeating.

We have been coming here for years....Really fantastic sandwiches and pastries. And the coffee....wonderful!!!!. And so many delicious flavors of tea and the nicest gifts.

The iced coffee was not iced coffee but some kind of frappe or milkshake. The sandwich was not well baked and spongy, for that price (€11) you don't expect a sandwich that is less tasty than the one from the supermarket. It also smells musty inside

Food delicious. Atmosphere is a bit less than with the old owner. Young people have taken over so understand it.

8 euros for a filet American sandwich. What is it about. This baker doesn't seem wise. Ridiculous. You may also have dollar signs in your eyes now that you think everything is becoming more expensive.

It was nice to sit for a while, but unfortunately everything smelled like old water, which was a bit less so.

Before the takeover this was great! Now, smaller and more expensive sandwiches. Staff much less friendly. Seemed like my sandwich wasn't baked properly. But mostly shocked at what a poor little sandwich they are making now... a real shame because this was a nice place to go.

Very cozy place, where you can enjoy lunch. The store has a cozy and homely decor and you feel at home there. A tasty sandwich or baguette, delicious. You should definitely experience that at least once!

Very good apple pie, reasonable prices, friendly service. Belgian waffles with strawberries are great!

Really lovely, have a generous breakfast offer.

We arrived at 16:30 and although their own sign says they close at 18:00 and so says Google, they told us we could not get any coffee anymore, because they actually stop serving coffee say 16:30 and they close at 17:00.. When I asked why the sign says 18:00 while they effectively close at 16:30 for coffee, the guy quite rudely told me he does not owe me an explanation. I will not visit this again

Hier hebben ze hele lekkere croissants met groenten of met tomaat kaas, even laten opwarmen en smullen maar. De keuze aan belegde broodjes is ruim en de broodjes zijn nog betaalbaar. Je kunt ook binnen lunchen of een kopje koffie drinken. Erg leuke ambiance, oud Hollandse stijl.

Great food, great service, one of the cutest places in Haarlem for sure. This also has a bakery so make sure to take some of the goodies with you!

Super gezellig en enig restaurantje met aan de voorkant een winkeltje (bakkerij/brood)- heerlijke koffie en lekkers, lunch en diverse thee. Net of je bij je Oma een bakkie gaat doen.

Gezellige zaak, waar je een lekker kopje koffie kunt drinken en een heerlijke lunch kunt gebruiken, Vriendelijk en gezellig.

Vandaag zijn we hier gaan lunchen en ik moet zeggen, ik was onder de indruk. Vanaf het moment dat ik binnenkwam, voelde ik me welkom door de hartelijke sfeer. Het interieur was ouderwets sfeervol, wat een geweldige plek maakt voor een casual lunch met familie of vrienden. Het hoogtepunt van was zonder twijfel het eten. Ik bestelde de pistolet met warme beenham en honing-mosterd saus en het was heerlijk - vers, super smaakvol en knapperig, meer dan genoeg voor één persoon. De dressing was echt perfect. De bediening was ook uitstekend. Onze serveerster was attent en vriendelijk.

Tijdens de kerstmarkt heerlijk geluncht bij deze leuke zaak. Broodjes zijn rijk belegd en heerlijk van smaak. Goed adres om terug te komen

Zo tijdje geleden dat ik koffie heb gedronken. Maar als vanouds. koffie was goed maar heerlijke warme appeltaart gegeten met slagroom.mooi gepresenteerd.

Leukste plek waar wij in tijden zijn geweest! Je komt als het ware binnen in een warm huis! Eten is ook fantastisch. Ik had beenham en mijn vriendin wat zoets en het smaakte super. Aardige mensen ook! Aanrader

Nett freundlich aber an die schlaue Dame die vor 2 Wochen da war es gibt nichts glutenfreie s schade das leute die scheinbar nichtmal die Bedeutung kennen so was bewerten das ist eine Unverträglichkeit .... Jennifer c ist gemeint ;]

Perfecte prijs-kwaliteit, lekker eten. Vriendelijke bediening.

Leckere Nachspeisen. Es gibt sogar Glutenfreies. Meins war aus Haselnuss. Es hat köstlich geschmeckt. Tee war super Frisch und lecker. Preis Leistung super.

Das Frühstück ist lecker und bezahlbar. Für knapp 10 € gab es 1 weißes Baguette-Brötchen, 1 weiches Körnerbrötchen und ein leckeres Croissant mit reichlich gekochtem Schinken, Käse, Eischeiben, und Marmelade, dekoriert mit Salat, Tomaten und Erdbeeren. Kaffee nach Wahl und frisch gepressten O-Saft gibt's auch noch dazu. Alles in uriger Atmosphäre und mit netter Bedienung. Einziges Manko: es roch etwas nach Keller...
