Disappointing experience – twice is enough for me. My boyfriend and I went to this sandwich shop last week, and we were immediately struck by how unfriendly the staff was. No greeting, no smile, and when we went to pay, we didn't even get a good day. Too bad, but oh well... we gave them a second chance today. So today we went back in. Everything was full, which was fine, so we waited patiently for a free table. After less than three minutes, an elderly woman came in. At that moment, a table was available, and we wanted to sit there, since we were the first ones waiting. To our surprise, the same man from last time (who didn't even wish us a good day when we paid the first time) came over and said, "You can sit in the back corner, and the lady can sit here." When I told him we were waiting earlier and wanted to sit up front, he said casually, "I can't put those old people in the back." Excuse me? Old or young, I pay just as well as that woman. When I said so, he simply turned around and walked away without another word. The older woman sat down at the table and claimed her spot. The staff let it happen and kept assuming I should sit in a corner because I'm not 80+. We immediately left. This was the second and last time. A customer is a customer, regardless of age. And you should expect a little respect, courtesy, and equal treatment in a restaurant.

We ordered breakfast for our wedding. Everything was perfectly arranged, and they were very helpful. We were very satisfied and had a delicious breakfast!

We asked if we could have a drink, 10 minutes later get told “we closed 20 minutes ago” I take it they don’t like business. They won’t get any more of ours 🤷‍♀️

Really cute spot, perfect for a quick and easy lunch. Especially when our for a bike ride! Food is simple but ideal for lunch. We each got a sandwich with a bowl of soup and it was lovely. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The seating area was warm and cozy with a fun environment. When it's nice outside, sitting on the patio would be even better. Street parking is available a block down. I would definitely go back.

What a lovely location in the center of Beek! Despite it being a Monday, the entire terrace and half the tables inside were occupied. Fortunately, a table in the shade (over 30 degrees Celsius) became available on the terrace in the alleyway next to the door. The service is cheerful and welcoming. The menu offered a wide selection of sandwiches. We both went for the lunch combo of breads consisting of soup, a farmer's sandwich with roast beef and truffle mayonnaise, and the other with smoked salmon and tuna. What a pleasant surprise when it arrived: a platter full of them! It was quite a challenge and tasted incredibly good. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back next time.

We were on a two-day trip with the youth group. After asking if we could get something to eat, we were very kindly helped. We received 23 delicious free sandwiches. On top of that, the lady wrote out the entire route to our next stop. Very friendly people and highly recommended!

Heerlijk luxe ontbijt gehad. Prijs/kwaliteit dik in orde. Gezellige ambiance. Hier gaan we vaker terugkomen. Aardig personeel en net toilet, ook niet geheel onbelangrijk.

Lunch is good, the meat sandwich is great. On the way to our stay in Germany we arrived around 12.30 pm when it was very busy. Today on the way back we arrived just before 12 noon and it was still quiet (for a while). Friendly service.

Lunch menu and salad were both delicious and generous. Dietary requirements were also taken into account. Nice thing!

Lunch. Was lekker en voldoende. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Buiten op het terras zijn ruim voldoende plekken. Binnen is het interieur smaakvol ingericht.

Als liefhebber van heerlijke broodjes en salades kan ik deze zaak ten zeerste aanbevelen. Of je nu een snelle lunch nodig hebt of een grotere bestelling voor een evenement, ze zullen je niet teleurstellen. Ik kijk er altijd naar uit om mijn volgende bestelling te plaatsen en opnieuw te genieten van de culinaire verwennerij die deze broodjeszaak te bieden heeft!

What a gem of a place. Characterful cafe, lovely terrace offering amazing food. Service is friendly and efficient. Food was just so tasty. So much food I was unable to have a dessert.

Tweede keer hier een broodje gegeten, mooie zaak, lekkere losse sfeer en leuke behulpzame dames die de beleving af maken. Goede prijskwaliteit verhouding en zeker aan te bevelen.

Regelmatig bezoeken we deze zaak en elke keer is het een gezellige plek voor een kop koffie en een broodje. Hartelijke bediening en de kwaliteit van het eten is in orde!

Op advies van familie ook gaan ontbijten, het was echt een verwenmomentje. Bij binnenkomst valt meteen de gezellige sfeer op. Het ontbijt was super compleet, met heerlijke vers gebakken broodjes en croissants, een gebakken ei, verschillend broodbeleg en yoghurt, verse jus en koffie!!! Genoeg om de hele dag mee door te komen en alles was even lekker! Het personeel was vriendelijk en snel. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

Fantastisch ontbijt, alles erop en eraan, jus, koffie of thee, gebakken ei, 1 snee boerenbrood, 2 grote stukken stokbrood en warme croissant. Jam, kaas, brie, ham. Yoghurt met veel fruit. Was eigenlijk te veel om op te eten.
