Delicious food!! Everything looks neat and the staff was very friendly!! We will definitely come again!

The vegan croquette was delicious again! We think 2 is too much so we ask for 2 sandwiches and plates. We got it with a nice thick sliced ​​brown sandwich. Too bad no vegan butter was served with it. Some raw vegetables (also with vegan dressing).

Ich hatte kurz zuvor einen Bericht über dieses tolle Konzept gesehen und wollte mir unbedingt einen eigenen Eindruck machen. Alle Mitarbeiter mit denen wir Kontakt hatten, waren sehr freundlich und konnten uns auch auf englisch ansprechen. Die Getränke und Speisen wurden toll präsentiert und waren super lecker.

What honest, beautiful people. We had a delicious meal there and had lunch with a whole group. Maybe we could help with clearing up. The room was empty in the meantime and we were still having a nibble. 'Sure, um... can it be like this or rather the same...?' "Oh, it's okay now."

A lot of ambient noise because all employees stand together behind the bar to prepare everything. There was, perhaps in a snapshot, little choice of brownies. Eleven o'clock in the morning, there should be plenty of choice.

Such a lovely place and obviously very busy and you can see why. Fabulous staff, great brownies and pleasant little cafe to stop in or sit out side and people watch. Qr code on menu for English menu was also a great help.

A nice place to have a cup of tea or coffee with something tasty. We ate apple pie and the pastry of the day.

It is a special target group that runs things here, but that is not why you go there. You want something to drink or eat and it's nice if you don't have to wait very long for everything. A similar cafe at the Hoendiep in Groningen does a very good job of providing service and everything you expect when you enter such a place. This was my first time here, maybe next time it will be better.

Wat een geweldige tent eerste keer uitsmijter gegeten was helemaal geweldig gewoon dikke 10 kunnen veel andere tenten in Groningen nog wat van leren heel erg leuk personeel en een heerlijke sfeer dikke aanrader leek eerste instantie beetje aan de prijzige kant maar helemaal waard wat een toppers 👍🏼

The neurodivergent servers are AMAZING, and the food is delicious. But I noticed a few neurotypical female servers stare at me when I came in, as did a few clients. As a woman of color, that tends to be the norm more so in small towns here in the north, so I was a bit surprised and saddened that it can also happen in Groningen. So perhaps racial diversity training is in order for the neurotypical staff 👍🏽 Edit: I meant the older female manager, behind the kassa and giving instructions to the servers. But thank you for the clarification.

We kregen een broodplankje voor 2 personen.Brood met boterhamworst echt niet lekker. Verder was er voor 2 personen een heel klein beetje tonijnsalade niet eens genoeg voor 1 broodje. Bediening was heel attent.

De koffie is heerlijk en zeer leuk team zeker aan te raden

Kom regelmatig kop koffie hier doen als ik hond uitlaat. Je wordt fantastisch geholpen; soms moet je een beetje meer geduld hebben en gaat het misschien niet zo als in andere koffie brunch en lunch etablissementen maar dat is juist de charme! Kreeg zelfs vandaag gratis heerlijke lunch aangeboden! Echt fantastisch! En altijd gratis heerlijke stukje brownie en slagroom en glaasje water bij de koffie! Ga hierheen voor brunch of lunch of gewoon kop koffie als je in Groningen bent!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❣️

Mijn allereerste keer bij Brownies en Downies. Het was een super top ervaring! Zo gast vriendelijk en professioneel. Ook de begeleiding naar de mensen toe was ook indrukwekkend om te zien. Hier werken mensen die ook echt willen werken ontdekken en zelfstandig willen zijn. Team van toppers ga zo door !

Humanity at it’s best. This is a place that makes a change on society and gets to peoples eyes. I’m really happy to discover this place on my visit to Groningen, all places should include everyone like this people, and open all around the world. This is inclusion, making people with fear of socials tearing down that wall and stepping behind the counter and serving your coffee. Love it.

Wow, was für ein tolles Konzept. Tolle freundliche Menschen, die es super schnell schaffen ihre Kunden zu entschleunigen. Preise sind absolut ok. Es sollte mehr von solchen Lokalen geben. 🤩🤩🤩 Vielen Dank für die Erfahrung.

Nice food and coffee, affordable breakfast/brunch

Tolles Konzept, wir wollten unbedingt bei unserem Besuch hier vorbeischauen. Es war wirklich wunderbar. Die Mitarbeiter mit Beeinträchtigungen konnten nur in den wenigsten Fällen englisch, aber man versteht sich dennoch mit Händen und Füßen. Zudem waren sie sehr nett, immer flott am bedienen und vor allem mit Herz dabei, das hat man immer gemerkt. Wir waren sowohl zum Mittagessen als auch für einen Brownie hier. Das Essen war immer super lecker und auch optisch sehr schön hergerichtet (das Auge isst ja schließlich mit :) ). Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in den Niederlanden schauen wir unbedingt wieder vorbei.

Ich bin sehr von dem Konzept des Cafés überzeugt. So eine wunderbare und wunderschöne Atmosphäre habe ich selten erlebt und das Konzept sollte nicht die Ausnahme sondern die Regel in unserer Gesellschaft werden. Der Brownie war einfach unschlagbar gut, glaube den besten den ich jeh gegessen habe. Der Cappuccino ausgezeichnet und kam mit einem kleinem Gläschen Wasser, Schlagsahne und etwas Bruchkuchen. Die unglaublich freundliche Bedienung hat uns, zum krönendem Abschluss, einfach den Tag versüßt. Dieses Café kann ich wirklich nur weiterempfehlen und beim nächsten Besuch in Groningen komme ich bestimmt wieder.

Heerlijk ontbijtje op terras in de zon. Ontbijtplankje is een aanrader! Zeer rijk ontbijt voor een kleine €8,—: croissant, gebakken of gekookt ei, yoghurt met granola, ambachtelijk wit én bruin brood met kaas, ham, marmelade en roomboter. Daar kunnen veel hotels nog wat van leren in termen van kwaliteit en prijs. Uitstekende service, we voelden ons erg welkom. Kortom: aarzel niet langer en ga er ook heen!

Als studiepauze bij Brownies & Downies Groningen geluncht. Vooraf niet gereserveerd, maar gelukkig was er plek. De bediening was super vriendelijk en de service top!

Wir waren jetzt schon dreimal dort und es war immer ein Erlebnis. Sehr nettes Frühstück und die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend .
