OMNI - all around food in Centrum

Zero complaints, it is everything it says it is, plus very pleasant and knowledgeable service....but mostly, everything we tasted was ace and made us want to go back.

Omni is a gem in Groningen, offering an outstanding selection of carefully curated local products like cheese, milk, tea, and cereals. Their bread is simply the best in town. My go-to place for high-quality local goods. The owners' dedication to quality, sustainability, and community is evident in every detail. Highly recommended for anyone who values local produce and delicious baked goods.

Always tasty food and good food too

Since that one time we happened to walk by and the loaves smiled at us, we regularly come to Omni especially for the bread. Great toasted sandwiches with leek when the cafe is open. You can feel the care for good food in everything!

What an unpleasant experience. Arrived at 3.15 pm, after a long wait I was able to order coffee and asked for the menu. Friendly explanation of what else could be ordered. Then wait for the coffee to place the order. At 3.50 pm someone finally came to the table, without coffee, with the announcement that the kitchen closed at 4 pm and ordering was no longer possible. After some complaining that we had not been helped for a long time, we were told that we had arrived well after half past four. Not so. We will never come here again. Then a nice coffee and delayed lunch at Bommen Berend, cozy and highly recommended!

Delicious cakes and the sourdough bread is highly recommended!

Geweldige plek, beste desembrood en heerlijke taartjes, granola en chocolade. Ook fantastisch lunchaanbod, kimchi tosti, salades, quiche en heerlijke soepen.

Omni is my favourite cafe in Groningen! They have the best tahini cookies ever that are so addicting! Their milk is also probably the best I had in my life ~ beetroot pie is also delectable! The staff here are all so warm and friendly ^~^ and the ambience is lovely as well

That's the third time I went to Omni. I do it every time I visit Groningen. The service is absolutely delightful. The ladies are really cool and immediately engage in friendly conversation. There is one who even speaks several languages. The atmosphere is relaxed and there are games like Master Mind etc lying on the tables. The food is fresh and delicious. Great find! Thanks to my daughter who lives there!

Omni is such a cute, hidden and warm place in the city. It's super nice to sit outside, enjoy the sun and peace while having a great breakfast or lunch. The food is super delicious and the staff is the sweetest. To top it all off, the bread is just perfect 🫶🏻!

Hidden gem. Makes me think of one of these French restaurants where there is passion for the food and where you can get a great daily lunch menu for a good price. In most lunch places in the Netherlands the 'passion' for the quality of the food is not really there.

Hele mooie zaak. Alles wordt met liefde gemaakt en komt van lokale boeren. Huisgemaakte kefir is heerlijk en altijd lekkere kazen uit de buurt en bio. Dorien en Monique zijn heel hartelijk en gastvrij. Een aanwinst in onze buurt!

Very nice place to visit, it is alittle bit hidden from the main street but easy to reach. The place inside is cozy and the atmoaphere is great, nicely made to have a hot drink in a rainy cold winter day. Highly recommended place to visit, staff was nice and friendly.

Eenvoudig en goed. Duidelijk liefde voor wat ze doen. Melktaart is een leuke uitvinding. Een cortado is geen espresso macchiato, maar met Black and Bloom bonen als de basis drink ik beide met liefde.

Top zowel als lunch plek als om brood / hapjes af te halen. Lekkerste vegan pate ooit.

A cosy, homely place. They have a small selection for lunch, everything is very fresh and delicious, you can taste how healthy it is - I mean this in the good way. Fine cakes, breads and good cheeses to take home too.

This place has the best chocolate chip cookies, now I cannot have them from anywhere else. The sourdough bread is real + delicious and the staff is always kind. I love how this deli has a very relaxed atmosphere, no rush. The bakers are very helpful and love what they do, I was given a sourdough starter promptly when I asked for it. The lunch options are always delicious, all locally sourced ingredients do that magic (the cold beet soup, homemade paté sandwich are a must try). They also stock good tea and other local items like coffee from black & bloom, cheese from farmers etc.

This is a great little place. They have really good bread, cheeses, and many other local and artisanal products. The lunch options are very nice, their toasties are delicious. Coffee is great. Service is great, they are very kind!

OMNI, Welcome Home Everyone! Staff is friendly, they have coffee, bakery and lunch is homemade with the best local ingredients, also deli shop (local goat cheese is delicious, if you want to make a good impression at dinner you should get some), it is also vegan and gluten free friendly bakery too. The place is cozy and welcoming, i felt like i was at home.

De quiche met salade was heerlijk! Ook de tosti was erg goed. Fijne plek met leuke bediening.
