What an amazing cafe with such nice people.

Brownie and cappuccino were too good

Despite the crowds we were helped and served quickly. We had a delicious meal for a good price. Definitely recommended.

The staff is not friendly at all. I will never go here again.

I think it's a very bad tent, I didn't do anything wrong, but because I happen to know one and apparently she doesn't like me because I live in Groningen, if you get a call you can't come there anymore, so we'll never come here again, I don't think it's worth a star

Delicious food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere!

I was eating until one of the employees put his bubbles on my food. And here is your sauce ketchup and mayo (I liked the sauce) I didn't like this too much.

Sandwiches are good, coffee is good, everyone is friendly and does their best. Nice to go for lunch. Great 👍🏻

Ik kom hier elke maan wel een keer lunchen. Het eten is heerlijk en betaalbaar. De sfeer is erg leuk door de leuke bediening.

Attention to toilet and toilet paper replenishment

We celebrated our party at Brownies and Downies in Almere city. The management had given careful consideration prior to the party and together we came up with a tasty and fun arrangement. On the day itself we ate and drank deliciously and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, partly because the service had everything under control. This location is an enrichment for the center of Almere city and invites you to make several visits!

Friendly staff, good food. Notable vegan options with great taste. We will surely come back. They also have small play room for kids.

We had a drink here. There are really great ones working there 🤗 update. Had lunch, delicious bagel with salmon, yum. And my son is a bouncer👌🏽. Delicious fresh orange juice. And my son said the best coffee ever, beautifully served with whipped cream😋. All in all, great again👍🏽

Coffee and cake for two people. We sat inside, comfortable chairs, everything clean and tidy, employees are alert. Service was fast and good. Coffee was fine, pastries went well. When paying, an employee came to the table with a card reader. She seemed surprised that I left a 10% tip. Hopefully we will still tip at the Brownies&Downies!

I took cheesecake and apple juice. The juice was served in a regular cup, I may not mind, but not for 3.10 euros. They asked for a very long time to wipe the table, and it was very noisy and there was a lot of swearing.

Don't take the cheese cake, it's too expensive and very small. I'm not a nerd and I always eat there very tasty, but I thought this was crazy. They charged 5 euros for it and it wasn't really a point, sorry, you have to make this cheaper. The press was also unfriendly. Experienced better.

Good food, but unfortunately there is enough swearing that you don't want to hear when you are enjoying a drink or a nice meal. mainly from the lady behind the bar with glasses and nose piercing/ring comes the necessary swear words and topics that people especially do not want to hear while eating.

The name is misleading if you're English speaking American. Leaving this review so in case you get brought to the Netherlands, they don't sell pot brownies here. Lol at least they laugh at you rudely tho when you ask . It's ok i understand 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Had a nice lunch yesterday, 2x breakfast platter, 1x bagel with omelette and bacon and 1x24 hours. Very tasty, service super friendly, price? Not wrong . Recommended

Jan 4 '24 was our first experience here. Upon entering you see the broken seats of the chairs. That looks poor. Whipped cream with coffee turned out to be different from that with apple pie. That was quite a shock. I go to the toilet (gender neutral), the floor was sticky, the glasses were dirty, the garbage bin was overflowing and there was no paper to dry your hands (this was around 10:30 am) I asked for paper, I was told but to go to the baby room next door, it will probably still be hanging there.... Although a new roll was hung up. Service was sweet!! The only thing I didn't find particularly friendly was the blonde lady who I think is in charge there. Next time we will go to Hema

We hebben voor het eerst op deze locatie geluncht en het is behoorlijk tegengevallen. De lege tafels waren stuk voor stuk vies te noemen en het afzuig/ventilatiesysteem wat boven de ingang hangt is te goor voor woorden, dikke vette stof boven op de filters. Ook de lunch zelf was anders dan besteld en de kroketten op brood waren van buiten keihard en van binnen nog koud.

It was an INCREDIBLE experience...!!! I truly loved their menu. We ordered their tomatoe soup and the Grilled Brie with Honey plus one of their Brownies. All were reaaally Fantastic. The service was top notch with incredibly kind staffs and very cozy and nice atmosphere. The Brownie was also super fresh with a perfect texture and taste..!! Their Grilled Brie with Honey and pickled onions was the best I've ever tried..!!! It is by Faaaar the best café in the town..!!! Update: once more, we went to this restaurant..!! It was FANTASTIC again!!

Nog even snel thee met gebak. Prima verzorgd en snel op tafel. In overleg wat improviseren met gebak en dat werkte ook goed. Aardige en vaardige bediening. Mooie locatie.

heerlijk eten , gezellig en goede service

We came 2 times in this lovely place. First time for a simple snack and the second time for lunch. Never disappointed ! Food is great, it's simple yet not expensive, and cooked with love and expertise. Thanks to every employees, they are adorable, and the place is really warm and cosy. Furthermore, the concept is a model of inclusiveness and share. Clearly a must see if you're in Almere Buiten !

Super leuke plek om wat te gaan eten/drinken. We zaten buiten om het hoekje waar je wel even zit te wachten tot je geholpen wordt, maar dan is de service ook goed. Hele lieve mensen die hard werken. Zeker een aanrader!

Very nice place, kind staff, well organized, good food for a fair Price. Price quality is very good.

Ik ben hier nu voor de tweede keer en ik heb eerlijk gezegd nog nooit zulke liefdevolle en goede service gehad bij een lunchtent als hier. De mensen zijn lief, oplettend en gaan heel netjes te werk. Het eten is heerlijk en komt super snel! Mijn favoriete plekje in Almere Buiten.

Geweldige plek om even te lunchen. Love het personeel super vrolijk en aardig. De club sandwich is ook echt de beste die je kan bestellen. Met een lekkere brownie ernaast echt top. Als je hier vaker komt hebben ze ook een spaarpas waar je kan sparen voor een gratis luch of drankje. 10/10

Heerlijk gegeten. Super aardige bediening.

Leuk initiatief maar de uitvoering kan beter. Koffie was zuur, water in een mini glas met kruimels erin. Choco brownies: vettig en smaakte meer naar cake Appel kruimel taart: sompig, smaakte heel boterig. Leek alsof het nog niet gaar was Kortom: leuk idee, service was prima. Qua eten en drinken viel het enorm tegen

Eet er regelmatig, kaart mag wel iets meer varieren, andere kant snap ik ook dat het niet kan

Lieve bediening. Broodjes niet bijzonder. Lekkere bitterballen.

Fijne plek, met aangename bediening en taartjes die gewoon goed zijn. Hier kom je uiteraard niet enkel voor de taartjes of de lunches maar ook om brownies en downies een steuntje in de rug te geven. Daarom toch 4/5.

Heerlijke lunch gehad bij Brownies & Downies. Je wordt begroet met een lach en het eten was heerlijk. De koffie komt met een glaasje water en een glaasje slagroom. Ook krijg je er een lekker klein koekje bij. Voor de lunch heb ik 2 kroketten op bruinbrood. Het brood is echt één van de beste stukken brood die ik heb gekregen bij een kroket tijdens lunch. Heerlijk dik en knapperig. Ook de mayo/mosterdsausje was lekker. De Salade in een klein bakje was precies genoeg. Mijn vrouw had de Bastogne-monchou "blondie". Een brownie maar dan blond. Wordt geserveerd met karamel en slagroom. De blondie was lekker zacht en de Bastogne bodem is heerlijk. Echt een aanrader in Almere-buiten. Alleen de bediening maakt je bezoek al de moeite waard. Het lekkere eten is de kers op de taart.

Leuke tent om koffie te drinken met wat lekkers erbij. Ook het onbijtje kan ik aanraden. Verse boterhammen , kaas en ham. Yoghurt met muesli, en natuurlijk de heerlijke koffie. Een must do in buiten.
