This was a great find. Set in a little bustling cafe area, the team were super friendly and attentive. The food was super tasty. We only had a small brownie with the coffee but was yummy so I think these would well be worth a visit in themselves. Great place.

Had a lovely lunch. Good, friendly service. Cappuccino with a shot of whipped cream. The Brie sandwich was beautifully presented, looking like a painting. Cozy terrace.

Always nice to have a nice cup of coffee and/or something tasty. The disadvantage is that when people are smoking on the terrace, the smell of smoke comes into the restaurant. Perhaps a tip is to keep part of the terrace near the door smoke-free. Everything else is great and the service is great!

Als afsluiting van een zeer moeilijke periode met alle vriendinnen van mijn dochter bij Brownies & Downies gereserveerd en gegeten. De favoriete plek van mijn dochter. Een sfeervolle ambiance met gemotiveerde en vriendelijk bediening. De leiding is zeer empathisch, hebben het inlevingsvermogen om zich in te leven in de situatie en gevoelens van anderen, dat wat steunt op goed "lezen" of verstaan van verbale en non-verbale communicatie van anderen. Draagt bij aan het kunnen begrijpen van emoties van anderen, dat zowel voor de cognitieve als affectieve component geldt. Het eten, de service, staat in een zeer hoog en goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. Een plek waar alleen gekeken wordt naar de mogelijkheden en kansen en niet naar beperkingen die er zijn, in een sfeervolle omgeving en waar speciale wensen worden ingewilligd. Zeer aan te bevelen !

Great service. The salads were delicious. The fresh mint tea and ginger tea had a nice burst of mint and ginger. Delicious.

Gewoon even een drankje op het terras. De relaxte sfeer deed ons besluiten ook nog te blijven lunchen. De bediening is voor mensen die het niet weten in handen van mensen met het downsyndroom. Houdt hier rekening mee als je niet respectvol met ze om kunt gaan blijf dan weg. Kun je dat wel kun je niet beter zitten!

Superb food. We took 2x Falafel, 2 toasts and one Salad. The Falafel and the salad were amazing!! I am sorry I did not have a chance to get back to that magnificent restaurant. Perfect location. Good service! Dont miss it!

My five-year-old son likes to go here for coffee. The staff is very kind to children (and also to the other guests of course) and of course the brownies are very attractive :-)

This is a very nice place to have lunch. The decor is warm and natural with a nice distribution of the dining tables. Perhaps there was little space between the tables that were on the wall. But that didn't bother us now, since it wasn't that busy. The staff is super friendly and occasionally asks if everything is okay. The food was ready quite quickly, which was great! We got a luxurious latté macchiato and the smoothie was also delicious. The brie sandwich was well complemented with a salad. Not very cheap, but worth it. What hasn't become more expensive here in the Netherlands these days? The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and has quite a large terrace. In short, definitely recommended!

We celebrated the king's birthday by enjoying a lovely terrace at b&d in Waalwijk. Served by a group of wonderfully spontaneous and friendly girls who made our afternoon completely according to our wishes.

We hadden van gereserveerd voor een lunch bij Downies en Brownies in Waalwijk en dat was maar goed ook want het zat helemaal vol. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, alle medewerkers waren even aardig. We kozen alle vier voor de lunchplank en dat was een uitstekende keuze. Het eten was erg lekker en mooi gepresenteerd op 2 houten borden. Als nagerecht kozen we een selectie van Brownies en blondies, ook dat was top. Al met al een prima ervaring hier. De prijzen zijn zeer schappelijk.

Dit is een indvriendelijke zaak met vlotte bediening. Het eten is lekker en dat voor een goede prijs. Wij hebben genoten.

What a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat. Service was perfect. We had the American Pancakes. Those were delicious. No microwave pancakes, but freshly made. It should be full here every day! People, you all have to go to Brownies&Downies Waalwijk at least once and you will be sold too!

The food is really tasty, but the service can quickly go wrong and you have to wait a long time.

Of course the service was great! It's just a pity that there is nothing vegan on the menu and that the "fresh" orange juice comes from a carton (sweet with a lot of pulp).

Nice place, very nicely decorated inside. Terrace is cozy, certainly a very nice place in Waalwijk. 24 hours (12 hours elsewhere 😉) was nice; fresh soup, tasty bread and a delicious croquette, but somehow I thought it was a bit sparse. Toaster quite expensive for what you get (7.75!). Smoothies were 😋 And the service is 👌👍

Hier weten ze hoe je de perfecte high-tea maakt en serveert . Niet alles in één keer op tafel kwakken maar in etappes . En alles perfect van smaak en in ruime porties. Eerst een flinke bitterbal, daarna een smaakvol soepje. Toen heerlijk belegde sandwiches waarvan een warm als toast met brie en de andere met kaas en ham en nog een met carpaccio . Alles mooi gepresenteerd met sla e.d. En als slotstuk een selectie van brownies. Appelgebak en een pancake , alles warm en alles erg lekker. De bediening is vriendelijk en de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend.

Excellent service, they were quick with the order for "something to drink" and the menu. The rest also went smoothly despite the full terrace and the relocation of the guests due to an unexpected rain shower. Excellent cappuccino and my brownie was also tasty and neatly presented. Definitely worth going to again.

The soup I got was lukewarm. And the rest of the food only came 20 minutes later, while it wasn't that busy. And if you want to apply here, you must email or send a letter. Then you are invited for an interview, as someone I know had done. But when I came with this person, the owner of this restaurant saw me, and out of interest I asked this man. "And have you received the letter?" I was told in response. "Yes, I have received it. but we already have someone, . This is very strange, because it is like this. Someone comes in, he went there to eat. And asked if he could work there, and guess what. The owner said, "Yes, you can start right away on Monday. How strange, the person I know (or someone else) has to write or email an application letter, and this person does not. Strange!
