Just sit back and enjoy!!!! Our first guest at 't Slot, but we will definitely return. Nice lunch menu and difficult to choose due to the surprising selection. Everything seems delicious to us. The most beautiful plates are served on the tables around us. Ultimately opted for bread with chicken and cashew nuts and a snack board. The first one is in my top 3 of tastiest sandwiches and the snack board is absolutely fantastic: grilled tuna slices, gyozas, serrano ham with small pickles, cheese bowl of nuts, teriyaki chicken skewers and fries with truffle mayo, parmesan cheese onions and spring onions. Everything was very affordable and served by very friendly staff. We enjoyed it to the maximum. Thank you dear people from 't Slot in Waalwijk.

Lovely place on the square. Very good service. Especially gluten-free for me! Delicious cookie with tea. (which is actually almost nowhere). The 12 hours is a deliciously composed lunch! Richly decorated and very tasty!

Whatever you do. Don't choose the fish/tuna tataki salad. I paid 19 euros for a salad that had 6 pieces of tuna that were 4x1.3 cm and 2 mm thick and three shrimp. In total maybe only 30 gram of fish. It was a total rip-off. It was a pity. The place is lovely and the staff friendly. But they salad massively overpriced. Will not go back.

Drinks were great, but the terrace was smelly and service was slow. Will return as the prices were great.

We come here several times a week. We often come for a nice cup of coffee or tea and sometimes for lunch.

Wat een heerlijk plekje is dit. Mooi oud pand midden in het centrum van Waalwijk. Eten was heerlijk en het personeel erg vriendelijk. In de bediening zit een Oekraïens meisje die ook echt de kans krijgt om te werken. Ook is de eigenaresse op de werkvloer aanwezig.

Het eten is erg lekker maar de service is echt heel slecht. We hebben langer dan een uur moeten wachten op ons eten terwijl het restaurant niet vol zat. In dit uur hebben we maar een keer drinken gekregen. Er komt gewoon niemand vragen of je nog wat te drinken wil. Door deze slechte service komen wij niet meer terug.

De keuze is reuze om Glutenvrij te eten een eigen menukaart. Gewoon keuze stress 😀. Heb voor een 12 uurtje gekozen. Was erg lekkere pompoensoep met een broodje carpaccio en lekker broodje met kipfilet Echt een aanrader. Mooie ruimte en vriendelijk personeel

Top ervaring! Kwamen na museum bezoek ( Schoenenmuseum) onverwacht binnenlopen. Bleek dat er veel reserveringen waren. Hadden laatste tafeltje. Namen 12 uurtje. We verwachtten lange wachttijd door de drukte. Niets was minder waar. Bijzonder lekker. Soepje, brood met kroket en de geweldige snee met carpaccio was af. Als we ooit in Waalwijk komen zeker op herhaling

Leuk restaurant voor de lunch maaaaar, niet al te beste lunch gerechten. Bv 2 kroketten op brood, maar alleen met brood en mosterdje maar verder niets. Bv clubsandwich kip, twee sneetjes brood met blaadje sla en schijfje tomaat met boterham schijfje kipfilet, erg slecht maar wel voor hoofdprijs van €12,50. Jammer kan beter !!!

Typical Dutch place in terms of food. So do expect sandwiches, however sandwiches taken to art level! These combined with an interesting beer selection, an cozy setup that attracts a rather trendy crowd, and a top drawer service add up to 5 stars. The two full menus, are also good value for money. I took the one with tomato soup, a kroket and a beef Carpaccio sandwich and was an absolute blaster for around 12 EUR! There is also a vegetarian version. Very good place to stop for a bite in downtown Waalwijk! Worth mentioning they accept payment by foreign cards.

Had lunch with you this afternoon with my daughter. Booked in advance and that was a good thing😅 We were warmly welcomed at a nice table by the window. We were able to order quickly, drinks were served quickly, we had to wait a while for our lunch, but it was more than worth it. Worth repeating for us. Nice and good service with an eye for guests, nice and tasty menu We will come back again👍🏻

Cozy eatery on the Raadhuisplein in Waalwijk with very friendly staff. Very good price/quality ratio, because you really get a lot. Just look at my bread and chicken lunch. Absolutely great and definitely worth repeating!
