Nice place for lunch or a pastry! Everything top taken care of.

Everything you need for an excellent dinner comes together here. Upon arrival we were immediately helped by an extremely cheerful lady who showed us the way through the attractive restaurant. The menu was full of surprises, my friend and I of course went for the 12 o'clock meal. And what a lunch it was, large tasty portions that can fill the stomach well. And it was delicious! When ordering my drink (orange orange orange) I accidentally made a mistake and I received the raspberry variant. In retrospect, this was the right choice, so I don't blame the employee. Nice price for a tasty snack. What a beautiful tent, definitely recommended.

Nice place, nicely decorated, modern. Friendly service. We chose the breakfast board for €9/person. A croissant and a large slice of bread, with jam, nice ham, 2 slices of cheese, an egg and orange juice. With so much toppings we ordered another sandwich for one euro and then you have a good breakfast for ten euros. Great to avoid an expensive hotel breakfast.

Coffee and Cheese cake. Awesome coffee and the cheese cake was delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic with church bells ringing and the service was fantastic.

Today I had a delicious cappuccino at Brownies & Downies with my daughter for the first time. She said that you can sit comfortably there and she didn't say anything too much, so I will definitely eat and drink a cappuccino and lunch here more often. Nice and cozy trendy place with friendly people!

Afgelopen middag heerlijk met het gezin geluncht bij B&D Wageningen. Zeer gastvrij ontvangen door de medewerkers en genoten van een heerlijk lunchplank! Mooie zaak en een prettige sfeer. Wij komen hier zeker nog eens terug!

Good food, lovely ambiance, important initiative but quite unfortunate on the service and kindness of communication. At the end of my meal (the last meal with my brother who I was visiting) and after having walked a little bit around to buy some small gifts to take back home, I sat back at the table and asked for a glass of tap water. At first, a bottle water was brought, then they tried to force the bottle on me, then they said I should buy bottled water because I have been sitting there for a long time and, finally, when I was given a glass of tap water it was warm. Musy say, it sadly did not feel very welcoming for an place that, I guess, tries to promote inclusiveness. It also did not feel environmentally conscious to force bottled water in a town that hosts an University that works towards environmental sustainability. But mostly, it's just water. Make a nice gesture. Give a smile and a glass of water. Does not take away anything but surely makes for a nicer and more welcoming day to all. 4 start for the place. -1 for the service.

Enter somewhere where people are really happy that you are there! So cheerful and cordial. I was there with my father and son and enjoyed every moment. The highlight was the photobomb of the nice girl at the counter. Go for the warm, unique atmosphere! By the way, the food (we had the lunch platter) is also more than delicious. But even if they only start serving peanut butter sandwiches, I will come back!

Delicious! Nicest place in Wageningen for lunch.

In beautiful and sunny Wageningen we settled on the beautiful terrace of Brownies & Downies. We were tipped off that the lunch platter would contain some very tasty elements so we wanted proof of the pudding. We were not disappointed, far from it. The lunch platter included delicious bread with very tasty herb butter, a minimum pizza, a bread wrap with shredded salmon, a spicy tomato soup, bread with old, almost melted old cheese, a ball of pulled pork, etc. This together with the excellent service, the complete cappuccino, the ambiance & the beautiful weather ensure the 5 stars.

Had something to drink and eat. The terrace was fairly occupied and we decided to sit inside: plenty of room. And oh what an atmosphere, cheerful people and time for a chat; very cosy. No wonder it was so busy. Also how people react here, the service and the customers, is very nice to see. I was sitting here relaxed, and I could sit here all day. And then the food; very tasty and it felt like it was made with love, super ordinary. I certainly reported that. Definitely a place to come more often 👍

I have been here many times because I was always well treated, I could order in English, and everyone is extremely kind and efficient. I have celiac disease so I only order gluten-free, and the plates are soo good, there is no price differentiation for the allergy and it is so tasty and quite large. I recommend the morning toast with egg and the warm GF brownie cake

Al het eten dat we goed konden zien vanaf onze plek werd met plezier naar de tafels gebracht. Een gezellige sfeer door een hartelijke en spontane bediening. Ja, en de brownies aten we ook nog erna, die zijn niet te versmaden. Top!
