The food was fine, neither bad nor good but the service was awful for us. They were very slow, forgot us and we had to inquire about our meal and drinks more than once.

Amazing karahi paneer ! We loved the paneer karahi and the prices were also reasonable. Staff were also very kind. It was a busy day but we were well informed about the time. Hence we all loved it. Would recommend it to others as well as the food was quite authentic.

I hate to leave a bad review. I liked the mango lassi, but it wasn't as thick as it should have been. And it didn't come in a plastic cup with a straw. The rice was good as well, perfectly cooked. The Aloo Gobi was in a curry form first of all, the norm is for it to be dry and the sauce was very tangy and just smelled weird. I definitely think it was fresh it's just made weird here and made me not want to eat it and I had to force it down and ultimately couldn't finish it.

Great food and service. Dal bhat is excellent value for money. Tip: you won't need a starter with that.

The food here was really great. We were served quickly, however, people who came later than us seemed to have to wait quite a bit longer. The cappuccino afterwards was not that great, but that did not affect the overall experience too much. I would definitely come here again.

Today I had paneer tikka masala and garlic butter naan . Another good part is they if you order roti they serve rice along with it ,with no extra cost . Taste was really good . Away from india you will feel the spice of India . Don't order Tea . Its just hot water with ginger in it Service needs to improve. Santosh .M

Really bad food and service. The chicken was below average, dry and chewy; and dal (lentils) were undercooked. The above complaint was also dismissed by the service (rude). Not worth the price you pay to eat here.

Unfortunately the food wasn't tasty. It was way too spicy even though no spiciness was specified. In one dish there was a lack of spices and in the others there were far too many. I would not visit this restaurant again

Food came after 90 mins and with 1 dish missing that took another 45 mins to arrive. The spice balance was horrible, nothing but hot. None of us could enjoy our food

One of the best Nepalese restaurants in the Netherlands! The momos were absolutely delicious, and the Nepali chicken curry was rich and full of flavor. Every dish tasted authentic and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful Nepalese cuisine!

We had chosen a three-course tasting menu; soup was good but quite salty, starters tasted substandard and in my opinion not really Indian or Nepali. Main course was tikka masala and was tasty. Dessert was tasty but presentation was not special. The service is downright disinterested and also incompetent. Not recommended in my opinion; I don't understand where all the positive reviews come from, to be honest.

Ate with 5 people. I had the madras with lamb here, it was well filled with meat, deliciously spicy and the staff was very friendly.

Delicious food and super attentive staff. We sat outside, you get to experience the liveliness of the city, you have to like it, but we love this. The portions are really big. Everything we had was very tasty, but the Garlic naan bread certainly stood out. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone!

My family and I ordered take-out from Buddha Eye and it was absolutely great. We picked it up ourselves and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant. Beautifully decorated, nice atmosphere and top service. They were very friendly. After half an hour of driving, we were back home and the food was still warm. We had a lamb biryani, chicken Madras and mixed tandoori and it was all very tasty, good spices. Recommended if you like Indian.

Excellent service, we took our 2 year old and they had a nice high chair and were really kind and sweet. The food was really nice, I had the vegetarian taster menu (can't remember what it was called). Well worth a visit. Nice beer too.

The service was truly amazing. The staff was so friendly and had time for a little chat although it was very busy. I love the vibe in this restaurant, the dekoration is amazing, too. Now to the most important part: The food was gorgeous!!! We took the proverij thingy and it almost blew me away, every dish was tasty and delicious. Was the first time for me eating Nepalese, but I'm definitely hooked up. Thank you for this amazing experience! :)

Had a bite to eat here yesterday. We had ordered the lamb korma, chicken kahari and Garlic naan. The chicken kahari had a good taste, but the korma was bland and tasteless. The naan bread only came after half an hour and three times of asking, when we had already finished eating. When we indicated at checkout that we were very sorry about this, we received the response: better luck next time. If I were them I wouldn't wait until next time... For the money you pay here, there are plenty of other restaurants in Groningen that make it worth it.

For collection, but also very nice. There were two servers and it was busy, but what customer service! She listened calmly to your wishes, even though they were very busy, and was happy to make us happy. The naan bread was divine! Adding other types of naan bread was also no problem. Food is tasty and even the rice is tasty. I expected the lamb to be softer, there were many pieces that you really had to chew instead of falling apart. But that's my preference. We couldn't eat it, so we asked the rest. Even got extra rice and naan bread, service! It was very warm there and it was blue… some better ventilation would be nice. The mango lassi is recommended! Especially with the spicy flavors.

During our weekend away, we had dinner at Buddha Eye. While you often see Indian restaurants with very simple furnishings, here we got the feeling that quite a bit of attention had been paid to create more atmosphere. The food was great. Nothing to complain about. One of the best Indian restaurants so far. Also very reasonable in terms of price. Tip for the restaurant, slightly smaller portions (main course) is not a problem. We didn't eat about half of it because it was really too much. Nice to see that you can take the rest home with you, but since we don't exactly live nearby, that wasn't an option :-)

Food and service were fine. However, the cooking extraction is dramatic, which means that all spicy cooking fumes come directly into the restaurant. It hit your lungs in the long run, which is a shame.

Gisteren hebben we hier gegeten, en wat een lekker eten hebben ze hier. We hadden papadums vooraf, met heerlijke sausjes. Daarna hadden we garlic naan, channah masala en rogan josh. Echt enorm lekker, en goede porties (een deel is weer mee naar huis gegaan). Ook veel vegan opties! Maar! De service was niet goed, een dame was echt super beleefd en aardig, echt top! Maar een ander was heel kortaf, capuchontrui aan en hadden in de zakken. Dat gaf een ongemakkelijk gevoel. Een muziekje aan in het restaurant zou ook leuk zijn! Kortom: top eten! maar service en sfeer kunnen beter..

De aardige eigenaar heeft voor ons (8 personen) een heerlijke tafel met allerlei verschillende gerechten geserveerd. We hebben genoten en er was meer dan genoeg! Hij bood zelf aan om de rest in te pakken voor thuis. Aanrader!

Ik heb net lamb korma besteld. Normaal is het eten top, maar dit was echt dramatisch. Het eten was flauw en de rijst proefde ook niet vers. €20 de goot in.. en ook nog bijna 1,5 uur moeten wachten.

Echt heerlijk gegeten bij Boeddha Eye! De porties zijn groot, makkelijk om twee keer van te eten maar dat vinden wij helemaal niet erg ;) Klein restaurantje, de bediening is erg vriendelijk. Met name de peshwari naan is écht super lekker. Wij komen zeker terug!

Erg lekker eten, hoewel er wel erg veel knoflook op de knoflook naan zat (maar over smaak valt niet te twisten?). Goede service, wel een beetje rokerig binnen.

I m a Singaporean, working in Nordlicht wind farm, as we comes in to Eemshaven port dur to bad weather, with my whole crews have eaten at this place, the food is excellent and amazing, with nice atmosphere and very friendly kitchen crews and waiters. We came from Bremen for a weekend trip and got welcomed with the best customer services we've ever had. The food was delicious and the big portions were well worth their price. The owner gave us extra drinks and desert on the house because 'he felt like it' :D This was a great experience and made our trip memorable.

Wat een super restaurant is dit. Aslan weet hoe hij zijn gasten het hof maakt, zie je als klant en geeft je een warm welkom. Het eten was echt top! Heel erg genoten met mijn vader, moeder, broer en zus. Complimenten van ons vijven en lieve groetjes uit Tilburg Femke Damen

Went out for dinner with my boyfriend here tonight. Lovely staff, they like checking up on you, making sure you’re satisfied which gave me a very warm welcome feeling. The food was literally amazing, so good. Quite a decent amount of vegan/vegetarian options as well, it shows you on the menu exactly what is vegetarian/vegan and what isn’t, which is very nice. You absolutely get what you pay for, the portions are so big we even got to take some home with us. I’ll definitely be coming here again if I ever visit Groningen again. Thanks for having us, we had a wonderful time here!

We hebben een Indiaas en een Nepalees gerecht besteld. Beide gerechten waren verrukkelijk van smaak. Lekker gedurfd pittig. De meeste Indiase restaurants waar ik heb gegeten zijn in mijn ogen te voorzichtig, maar dat was hier niet het geval. De inrichting van het restaurant is modern en netjes en de bediening is vriendelijk en vlot.

Al 2 keer op rij heerlijk uit eten geweest met mijn man. Heerlijk eten, vers en smaakvol. Het restaurant is schoon en sfeervol en het personeel is vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker weer eens een hapje bij jullie eten!

Rustige plek gekregen op verzoek. Aardig personeel. Met smaken weten jullie wel raad! Niks te klagen. De sorbet was lekker.

Wir hatten einen ausgezeichneten Abend in diesem tollen Restaurant. Eines der besten indisch/nepalesischen Restaurant in welchem ich außerhalb Indien/Nepal je war. Die Qualität des Essens war hervorragend. Das Essen war authentisch zu einem wirklich fairen Preis. Das Lamm und das Huhn waren perfekt gegart. Das Dal war schon scharf. Die Teigtaschen zur Vorspeise waren ein Traum besonders in Kombination mit dem scharfen, hausgemachten Linsendipp. Der Service war wirklich wunderbar, obwohl wir erst um kurz vor 22Uhr in das Restaurant kamen und fast keine Gäste mehr da waren, würden wir nicht abgewiesen. Auch würde uns auch keiner Zeit das Gefühl zu gegeven, dass wir uns beeilen müssten. Hier kommen wir definitiv wieder hin. Absolute Empfehlung für alle die die authentische, indisch/nepalesische Küche lieben.

Super leuk restaurant! Echt een aanrader. De eigenaar is super aardig. Het is een mooi restaurant om even te zitten en je zit niet midden in de drukte van het centrum. Er word echt tijd in je gestoken. De chef is super en het eten is heerlijk. Je hoeft niet lang te wachten en de smaak is super. Kortom als je lekker wilt genieten en eten, hier is de juiste plek!!!!
