Neat, clean Burger King! The order was ready very quickly, and the staff were friendly too.

The app says it's open until 1 a.m. At 11:49 p.m., we found the door locked. Please adjust the opening hours; even the app shows it as open.

Food simply good. Service at the checkout was neat and polite. The toilets and trash cans did need a refresh, though. Because of that, the atmosphere dropped to 2 stars.

The food is always good, but you have to wait an incredibly long time for it.. I’ve been there 3 times now and every time I had to wait a very long time! The drinks aren't cold and the milkshake isn't icy. The staff can barely speak Dutch or are very grumpy and there are always only 3 of them! I’ve given it a chance 3 times but it isn't improving.

Very rude staff. They don't make eye contact when talking to you, offer no greeting, and snap at you because you want to have a code scanned. Normally, I give staff the benefit of the doubt, but in this branch, it is hard to find staff who actually want to be there. Additionally, the sauce is mostly next to the bun rather than on it.

Great Burger King; without anyone knowing, they use Mystery Menus here! It's always a question of what's in your paper bag at home, but as long as you don't mind that, this is the perfect location. If you want to call to report that something is wrong, you wonder if they even have them.

A while back, I got cold food from the drive-thru here a few times in a row. No more Burger King for me in the future.

I had the long chicken, it was lukewarm, one lettuce leaf and a tiny bit of sauce, what a disaster, for 9.95🫣 not to mention the saltless, tough fries, I threw it away

I was very shocked by the employee behind the counter. He behaves like rude street thugs. And he takes the order in a way that makes it very clear he would rather not serve you. Because of this, we just turned around peacefully, which he didn't have a problem with, by the way, 'right?' Customer service 0 stars. I have never experienced anything like this before.

Nice location, ample parking. The burgers were nice and hot, well-topped, and tasty. The soft drinks from the vending machine, however, were a disappointment; far too watery and barely fizzed.

The restaurant closed at 10:00 PM, but luckily I was still allowed to order. My order was wrong, though; I had clearly stated what I wanted extra. In the end, an extra euro was charged. Peculiar practices. It is Harderwijk, after all... fortunately, the drive-through is doing a bit better.

Burger King is fine in terms of quality. The only reason the service gets 3 stars is because it took a very long time for the food to be ready for the drive-in.

I think the opening hours are inaccurate. This is the second time I've come home from work and arrived at 10:45 PM, only to find they are closed. Fine, but then state it correctly. Time for another round at the competitor then.

Helped quite quickly despite the busyness.

What a lousy place! BK always has good food and nothing to complain about, But this takes the cake. Half an iced tea, the rest is foam... The fries are cold, And as a dessert person, the ice cream is inedible. The staff is unbearable and curt, a bunch of grumps, and the cleaner hasn't shown up a few times already... Not even worth 1/5 stars... But oh well, I can't rate it any lower🤷‍♂️ Bye!✌️

What luck! I had a lovely gentleman on the intercom. On my way home, I wanted to grab a soft serve ice cream, but since you can hardly find them anywhere anymore, I always get the biggest Sunday without topping. The gentleman filled the cup completely, because the price doesn't change, of course. I'm really happy with it, very nice! The photo was taken when I was already home)

For years, this has been the favorite location (A28 Harderwijk) because the food is prepared nice and fresh here, compared to quite a few other locations. At least, on March 12th, we ordered a Crunchy Chicken DeLuxe menu, but the fried chicken was clearly fried twice. It was definitely halved (shrunk), too dark, and bone dry. The bun and vegetables were fresh, though. I know these tasty buns, so the difference was really poor for serving. The person responsible for this specific action should be fired immediately, and I mean that seriously! Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a photo at the time and was already driving in Drenthe. So I'll just let you know this way.

Just received truly top-notch service at this BK. The one behind the counter is really overqualified! Some restaurants could learn a thing or two from him!! One of the better BKs in the Netherlands.

Dear Sir and Madam, On January 2nd, I went out for dinner with a number of people at the Burger King restaurant in Harderwijk. We were practically the only ones there at that time. We ordered various items. A milkshake was included in that order. The milkshake was so thick that it wouldn't go through a straw normally. We took it back. I received a new one from the same machine. It was the same again, which I had expected. The chocolate flavor was very disappointing. This time nothing was resolved and I was given a spoon. Just make do with that. I thought, wait a minute, is this service? The Whoppers were fine. The fries were very meager for that price. A mini bag with 15 pieces of fries. A menu was good. My wife went to the toilet; there was no toilet paper. And the toilet area was filthy. We took a look around the restaurant section. In the background, employees were having a great time in the kitchen and weren't moving. The room was filthy. Stacks of trays and the trash cans were overflowing. Myself and another visitor regularly bumped into the lamp hanging far too low above a table that wasn't standing. So much for few diners? So much for customer unfriendly? It therefore doesn't surprise me at all that the McDonald's in Harderwijk is very busy and has a lot of staff. Burger King Harderwijk has staff who would rather play in the kitchen than resolve complaints. After our report and departure, something was finally done. By the way, we are sitting here wearing thick coats because the manager had set the air conditioning to cold. Never again this Burger King. If we want a Whopper, we'll just go via the drive-in. Attached is a photo of a receipt. Perhaps you will do something about the complaint or about that very unmotivated staff. After a complaint was filed, this manager is unresponsive. BE CAREFUL, THERE ARE MICE TOO. DO NOT EAT THERE!!! A report has been filed with the NVWA regarding the abuses and the manner in which this manager of this "restaurant" intends to operate. Regularly closed before closing time.

It's a Burger King. Food as it should be. Excellent! The location is also okay. The decor lacks atmosphere. It feels chilly/cold. That could definitely be different. You don't go there for the atmosphere, but... I'm not sure, but there's only one toilet downstairs (accessible). Everyone goes downstairs. I don't know if there's a toilet upstairs...

Cozy, fast and cheap 6 burgers for €9

Whopper was ready in a minute, and it was delicious!

The cheap burger menu is truly awful, with dried-out burgers, wilted, grayish-colored, lukewarm fries, and a tasteless soft drink that almost only produced foam. So, everything was disappointing, and it's understandable that I was the only guest at around 2:30 PM in this bleak restaurant with a disgustingly sticky, sauce-stained table.

As a loyal Burger King customer, I'll share my heartfelt experience of eating at this restaurant. Although the service was quick (5 minutes from the call box to order), the staff was irritated, and the ice cream machine, as you might expect, was broken again. The fries were very tough afterward, which isn't what I'm used to. All in all, definitely not a Burger King experience to remember. Until next time. P.S. I still got ice cream from the neighbors afterward.

The burger could have been cooked through. It was also a bit lukewarm. It was a bit busy at peak times, and they couldn't handle it. They also forgot my chili...had to ask for it.

1 star! My daughter was prank-calling here today. I'm not saying it was good, but I heard on the phone, "You need to shut the hell up." I don't know who said it, but the staff isn't very friendly.

It's really gone downhill. It's too cold to eat here. The atmosphere is no longer cozy because of the indoor temperature.

I didn't like that I ordered a double bacon king burger and asked the girl not to put onions on it, and she put onions on both orders.

Supposedly open until 11 PM, If you're there at 10:25 PM, it's closed... the drive-through is closed too... bad news!

Just what you'd expect from Burger King. And a big perk: you can keep tapping drinks.

The food, as usual, cooled down very quickly. The path inside is slippery, not even cleared of snow! It's cold inside, there's a radiant heater at the counter, and staff are wearing vests. Brrr. Unfortunately, the soda machines have been producing more foam than drink for quite some time, resulting in lots of splashes and people overflowing their cups with foam to get a drink.

Super tasty burgers when they're cooked properly. But because they're not heated/cooked properly, they're lukewarm. Then they wrap up the burger, sauce, and lettuce, which cools the chicken burger even more. Only then do they fry the fries and finish the order, leaving the burger lukewarm and the bun soggy. Such a shame, because otherwise it would be THE ULTIMATE CHICKEN BURGER!

Received two wrong burgers, poor communication, poor customer service. It was as if the staff didn't want to work (which, in fact, they didn't).

The food was impeccable, actually, it was delicious. I just think €12 for an Ultimate cheeseburger menu is a bit steep. I'm not as impressed with the staff as I was with them. Admittedly, I only saw two people, but those two made a very bad impression. The atmosphere was okay. I ate in the car.

Ordered two menus. Even the first time, you have to refill your drinks at the refill station! The food is delicious. The male staff member is friendly. The interior is terrible. The atmosphere is bland and cold. Many tables are dirty.

Every time they have to make some mistake! Just now after a long day at work i order a double whooper to eat it home only to discover that the sandwich had only one burger! And no where on earth a burger king branch would be this cheap when it comes to fries. It’s like they’re handing out gold or something extra special.

What I find rather peculiar is that there's only one door between the downstairs accessible toilet and the dining area. When you come out of the toilet, you're practically standing at a table.

A double wopper is twice the size of a mc Donald's double cheeseburger!

First, the guy at the ordering kiosk outside yelled at us because I couldn't hear him clearly, and he was completely rude. We ordered the ultimate cheddar burger. Everywhere it says you get cheddar sauce with it, but not here. Here, you're just laughed in your face when you ask if it's normal how he speaks to his guests, and then we're left to figure it out. I politely returned the food; I hope the guy enjoys it himself!

I ordered two burgers: the Big King XXL and the Whiskey Master. I think both burgers have relatively little sauce on them, and they could definitely use a bit more heat so the cheddar melts better. The Whiskey Master burger was so dry you could have dried up the River Lek with it. And the onion was still raw, so it had a nice bite to it. In terms of service, generally speaking, they could be a bit more attentive to the customer. It's also nice when someone is open and approachable. Other than that, the combinations are good, there's plenty of variety, and it's great that you can pour your own soft drink.

The food was fine! But the hygiene is okay, and the staff was friendly. It's nice if you need something quick to eat.

The place seemed to have improved a lot since my last visit; the food was prepared better and the staff more attentive and polite. The food looked visually appealing and the taste was acceptable. Minor issues remain such as the automated kiosk not spewing out an receipt, or the self-service soda machine blasting its contents sideways instead of down into the cup. But it's nothing you can't laugh off. For a junk food court the menu is overpriced, but thanks to deals and promotions it's bearable. A current promotion for free whoppers is what lured me back to the place. I'm vegetarian and almost all menu options are available to me with plant-based ingredients, which makes burger king my favorite fastfood chain out of all available ones in the Netherlands.

The air smelled of fried ambition. Amy sat across from me with that red-blonde hair that the internet considers "scientifically unattractive," but to which Jan Willem van de Haan simply threw in a link—as if that were science itself. Tom Langenakker shouted that it was all nonsense ("As if your hair color says anything about you"), while Els, my wife, started hysterically discussing her bikini line at that very moment. She had apparently just seen a new piercing on Instagram and thought it was a spiritual message. Ramon sat silently with his milkshake and said, "They didn't ask me anything." Dave tried to say something about pale skin, but Els had by then settled into the bench in the children's play area with her phone and started judging people by their aura. I tried to eat a Whopper, but my fries tasted of guilt and social media. I accidentally spilled mayonnaise on my leather pants, which I'd just bought at Johnny's Vintage and Leathers on Etsy. Amy looked at her reflection in the window and said softly, "Maybe it's not the hair." I nodded. "No. It's Harderwijk." Els jumped up, shouted, "I am pixie dust!" and walked outside, towards the bus stop at Boekhorstlaan. Jan Willem quickly clicked "share." 3 stars – a great place for conversations that aren't about anything, but still reveal something.

As a Burger King, the building is a bit old inside. Could use an update.

I went through the drive-thru twice today (yes, those burgers are that good). The first time, I politely gave my code, and she replied, "We don't have it." A little later, the manager joined me: "Sir, what do you want? A159? Yes, we do!" Second round, same story. 😅 I'm starting to think I'm on a secret mission and only the manager knows my order code.

Terrible restaurant, the staff isn't helpful or willing to help, and they make promises they can't keep. Please choose La Place or KFC here.

This Burger King is the best advertisement for McDonald's! Clumsy ordering kiosks (poor touchscreens, and it's also unclear whether you need to add bacon extra or whether it's already on your bacon burger...) When choosing between medium and large, the kiosk displays a price difference, but for a large Coke, you pay an additional 25 cents on top of the price of a "large" menu. There's no indication anywhere of what's on your burger, but if you have an ingredient you don't want, you add it (?!)... For example, with onions: I'd like a burger WITHOUT onion... or do I want that, but then choose in English? There's no logic to this ordering system. Then there are the moderately cooked burgers. The whole experience is poor compared to other fast-food restaurants. I also heard other people say, "Now I know why I normally go to McDonald's."

The food was fine, but the service could be better. Even a fast-food restaurant could use a bit more effort. At the checkout, I was helped by a disinterested and unfriendly employee, who also took my order incorrectly. Fortunately, a friendly colleague resolved the issue promptly. When my order was ready, all they said was "yes, it's ready"—a simple "here you go" or "enjoy your meal" would have made all the difference.

The food was tasty but cold, and the place was a mess. Trash cans were overflowing, and there were stacks of trays. We'll drive to another Burger King restaurant on our route next time.

Truly degrading food. The bacon is raw, the bun is dry and disgusting, the fries are cold, and the chicken burgers are extremely dry. The cheese wasn't melted either; in short, it was awful.

There are better Burger Kings. Disinterested staff who stand around arguing with each other while your order sits there getting cold, ordering kiosks that don't work, and indistinct mumbling when your order is called! Apparently, keeping the restaurant clean isn't a priority here either, so it's better to drive to another location or the McDonald's just a few minutes away!

Always delicious and fresh, and affordable with coupons! Delicious!

Maybe one star too many. Just get the much-hyped menu. Ordering now, delivery, seems like a turn-off with all that shouting out of the pickup number. Then get a drink—yes, your clothes can go straight into the wash, mainly air, and after about five tries, there's still a drink in your disposable cup. Then the taste—yes, only the fries had any flavor. The aforementioned burger? Yes, a mini bun with no flavor, a negligible, unappetizing piece (probably meat), with something else on top, no idea, probably applied with tweezers. The three pieces of chicken in a bag, cold and stale. One thing's for sure, never again for Burger King. Tried to report it, but ignore the customer, he leaves on his own. Indeed, and will never return to BK.

Unlike in Germany, the burgers here are actually warm. The food was delicious, and everything was clean, including the restrooms.

Got a menu, was the only customer in the place, had to wait 20 minutes for my order. I ordered a strawberry milkshake, but they forgot to put the strawberries in it. Very impersonal staff.

It's a shame if you don't stick to your own opening hours. If you take a detour, you'll find the doors closed. What a shame!

X-tra Long Chili Cheese Wopper with fries and cola €15. I didn't think this restaurant was clean, the toilet smelled quite bad. It took a long time for the order to be ready. It happens. The fries were nice and hot but undercooked. The bun wasn't really warm and it was soggy. We used to love going to BK. We don't say that anymore, especially skip exit 13 in Harderwijk.

Haven't been to Burger King in a long time, but wow... the burgers are terrible. Cold... and if you complain about them, they're freshly made. Sure! You have to get your own soft drinks, and the vending machine doesn't work. And don't even get me started on the prices! The restaurant has no atmosphere. No way! We'll skip it.

Very friendly people, everything at a leisurely pace, the only thing they still have to learn is how to make coffee, over-extracted, so it tastes like an ashtray.

Man, things are going so bad in the Netherlands! Even the staff at Burger King isn't in the mood anymore. A quick question for the staff at Burger King Harderwijk: if you're not in the mood, please stay home and don't make your problem my problem. After waiting 15 minutes, I got my ice cream with the answer: "Yes, it can happen. Do you want it or not? I don't care."
