McDonald's in Harderwijk has become absurdly expensive. €3.70 for a small milkshake is absolutely ridiculous. The prices are completely out of proportion to what you get. Despite this, it's always busy, which is incomprehensible. Furthermore, there's often a lot of litter around the restaurant, which gives it a messy and unkempt look. This really needs to be addressed.

Why charge 1€ cup deposit if I still getting the paper cup?

The food was awful, I just ate a fish fillet and one slice of cheese, and it was €6.95. The burger was inedible, and the soft serve ice cream had hard chunks. What a mess. A terrible meal. 😠😠😠

It's always nice to grab a bite to eat here between work shifts. Always friendly and thankfully much smarter than other McDonald's locations I've been to so far.

Nice McDonald's. Very busy. It's a popular spot. This McDonald's has a lift for people with disabilities. You don't see it often at McDonald's. It was immediately noticeable, so I think it's worth mentioning and sharing.

It was very busy, a bit messy, and there was quite a bit of trash on the floor. But fast delivery and friendly staff!

Toilet on the first floor. Elevator wasn't working. It later turned out that the elevator could only be used if you reported it to the reception desk. A note on the door would have been helpful.

Whatever you do, not getting breakfast takes ages. The food was good, though. The point is, if you have to wait 22 minutes for your order, you could have gotten breakfast somewhere else.

Nice place to have a drink or something to eat after or before a motorcycle ride.

Order took quite a while. When I was at McDonald's, there was always a time limit between ordering and receiving.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I always wait about 10 minutes, even when it's not busy. There's always something missing from my order: if it's not sauce, then wipes, then a burger. Often, they'll just replace the burger or add a different topping. I don't recommend it.

Regular McDonalds, nothing special

Got 3 out of 5 cheeseburgers, they were cold and the buns were as dry as hay. Had to wait a while to order, then waited ages to pay, and the pickup took ages...why? Because the staff thinks they work in a playground. They're just messing around looking through the window. Worst Mac ever.

The air above Harderwijk smelled of rain and frying grease. My wife, known here only as Els, strode inside resolutely, as if the golden arches weren't just advertising but a gateway to a new ideological battleground. She spoke loudly about East German Currywurst and the forgotten dances of the Lipsi, as if the walls of this fast-food temple briefly recoiled in confusion. A play unfolded at our table. Matthias spoke softly about motorcycles and melodies, while I tried to make my order clear with quiet gestures. The waiter looked as if he were witnessing a strange ritual. Els, however, commanded everyone's attention: her eyes sparkled manically, her hands made circles in the air. She called the motorcycle club in the corner a brotherhood that reminded her of old times, secrets, and symbols. No one responded, but I felt the atmosphere thickening even further than the milkshake before us. There was laughter, there were frowns, there was even dancing – Els forced me into a short, awkward choreography between the tables. Children looked up from their Happy Meals, a man in a leather jacket lowered his hamburger. It wasn't the flavor of the fries I tasted, but the absurd feeling that we were part of a performance no one had paid for. When the bill arrived, there was confusion about collectivism and precision, about schnapps that never turned out to be schnapps, and about sharing a meal as if it were a political act. Els closed the evening with a hug that lasted too long and a fist in the air – "Freundschaft!" – that even stopped the newcomers in their tracks. I glanced one last time at the logo on the facade, gleaming under the wet neon light. A classic chain, a predictable place – and yet, with Els at my side, McDonald's Harderwijk transformed into a theater of memory, confusion, and poetry.

The service was very friendly to people, we didn't have to wait too long for our food.

Best McDonald's in the Netherlands

We ordered a latte and received a regular coffee, and complained. We didn't receive a replacement. Mistakes can always happen, but it's unacceptable that they aren't corrected. Worst service I've ever had at McDonald's (in all of Europe).

We were there on a Saturday night, and there were a lot of young people there, making it a complete mess. I didn't think the staff could do anything about it, as the group was so large. The food was so-so.

Easier to order food was delivered quickly.

Small snack, there are nice restaurants and you could also walk, fish, terraces, etc.

A good place to stop, even if just for a quick bite. Friendly, dynamic, and young staff. The self-service checkout is very intuitive, and the wait times are reasonable. Maybe a little more attention could be paid to table cleanliness, and the bathrooms are impeccable!

When I wanted to go out to eat with my family, we ordered quickly because we were very hungry. However, what we ordered wasn't much and there was nobody else in the shop. We still waited for more than 30 minutes. We complained several times but they always just said, "Yeah, yeah, it's ready." When it finally arrived, it was cold and there was also a Big Mac, a large fries and 6 chicken nuggets missing. We still waited another 15 minutes until it arrived.

We've had a lot of experience with various McDonald's locations. This one looked neat and tidy. It was clean and tidy, and the delivery time was excellent. The food quality was good.

I picked up a quick meal after work, and they were really fussy about the sauce they'd forgotten and any extras. Very poor service.

Good mackie, though I slipped on a loose pickle on the floor, which was a bit mediocre. I had hip pain for two days. The food was tasty and fresh, the service was fast, and the decor is nice.

I thought it was absolutely perfect. Yesterday I stopped by and the food was deliciously hot and arrived within 5 minutes. I was missing a burger, but they got it for me very quickly. The restaurant was also very clean!

Just McDonald's, large fries are very small, I think it's true, never order the large menu, you're being fooled here

Our favorite McDonald's in the Netherlands. We always arrived around 1-2 a.m. At that time, only the drive-thru is open, but that's perfectly adequate. The staff is incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful. ♥ Everyone processes orders very quickly, and we always get the right food. We're already looking forward to next year!

All the food was cold. The cheese burgers are not what they used to taste like. The bun looks plastic-like. The Hamburg has become much thinner. And there is no taste at all. The fries are limp. They don't add salt anymore. But this is not only in Harderwijk. I experience that at every McDonald's

Well, another junk shop where you pay an awful lot of money for limp fries, soggy hamburgers and very small ice creams.

They were very rude because I wasn't allowed on the slide! 😡

Good but rather not through the drive because there is regularly something missing. For example the mayo or the fries. Have never driven back because there is no time for that or everything gets cold. Super tent and everything good and friendly only that as a minus point.

We only had an ice cream cone but it was already starting to melt when we got it and we only got a tiny dollop of ice cream on top which is completely ridiculous considering we had to pay 1.95 for it.......OUTRAGEOUS

Fries were almost cold. This is because you get everything at once in the menu.

What is going on with McDonald's? Today at 5:05pm we were waiting for two ladies to talk to each other before they took our order. The restaurant was empty and we couldn't order food because the delivery guys were busy. We had to pick up the order ourselves.

Didn't include sauce in the order, they put two spoons of ice cream, not even half was in the glass. I'm disappointed...

A mc Do we will say effective. Few errors, not too long a wait and the food is hot. Not like anywhere else... Restaurant always clean. Efficient drive. To review the ice cream preparation system. Summer and winter, they are made almost first and while waiting for the rest of the order, they are in a state of melting (and it's not just the sauces' fault 😉)

Me and my friend went to this Mac Donalds and the lady with the pink hair from the Mac drive behind the counter felt it necessary to flirt with my friend and touch him while I was sitting next to this. I don't like this and neither does my friend. We were very surprised that this happened. Good staff. Arrange it.

Waiting 30 minutes for a breakfast. Nothing is served. Takes forever. Restaurant is basically empty. Horrible.

Great restaurant that happened to be on my route a few times recently. Food is excellent (lots of sauce on the McKroket!) and the service is fast. The atmosphere... Well... Standard à la McDonalds...? Fortunately, you usually don't have to sit there for too long 😉

It was quiet today, we were there around 8:30 PM, food quickly ordered at the column and have it delivered to the table. Patat was a bit cold for the rest it was standard. Now I was again 3-4-2025 and the fries were again lukewarm .... I can't believe, the burgers at the McSmart menu were good.

Orders go wrong more often than right, you order a double quarter pounder, you pay for it and you receive a box of a double, it contains a normal quarter pounder

I notice at this McDonalds, but also at other McDonalds, that the cleanliness and quality of the furnishings, sanitary facilities, but also service are deteriorating quite rapidly.

Easy to do, but check everything carefully at the drive. The vending machines inside are often out of receipts. Good advice: check what your number is before you walk away or look down at your receipt which then doesn't come.

When you need a quick snack or take food on the road, this is not the right place, cola and 2 hamburgers waited 20 minutes, coffee was served cold.

Been here a few times after an amusement park visit and there is always something wrong. Order wrong, long wait... While waiting you see many people walking to the counter, their order was also wrong... Employees are friendly. I also recently received free ice cream for waiting too long, which was nice.

One of the dirtiest McDonalds I have encountered in the Netherlands. I'm used to this in France, sticky floors, overflowing trash cans, rubbish everywhere, dirty tables and so on.

I like to go to the MC in Harderwijk. Always clean and order is always correct
