Worst burger king of all. An empty restaurant and still a good fifteen minutes for a small order of which you even forgot a part.

The drive through is a little slow in the evening.

I have never experienced such unmotivated and uninterested staff as at Burger King in Veenendaal. Terribly winded up. I actually never go to a fast food restaurant. But if I had to choose, give me McDonalds.

Took 25 minutes before getting food, Friday 18.40. This is not fast-food it's ultra slow food. 1 euro for a paper mugg you can't return because the machine doesn't work. Nobody seemed to be in a hurry, almost like a bad joke.

Just hire more staff. The drive through is supposed to be fast but we (and like 20 others) were waiting for 25 minutes for our food...

Veenendaal-West at Burger King. What really stood out: the friendliness and calm appearance of the staff at the order counter. Food arrived quickly, nice and hot. Wheelchair accessible, disabled parking available, entrance and driveway to the building can be done - with or without some assistance.

1 person behind the cash register during rush hour... money refund requested. Waited 45 minutes and no food.

Untrained and especially slow and very unmotivated staff. Ordered at 10:14 PM, my food arrived 28 minutes later. That's not fast food anymore. There were really 2-3 vouchers issued in more than 20 minutes of waiting. A long line of cars was served even more slowly and were still in line when I left again. Oh and the fries were just old, dry and cold. It had clearly been there for a very long time. The burger was still okay, but come on, what a travesty. Obvious lack of management here in the evening.

unfriendly staff, long wait, received the wrong Whopper, had to wait at the counter for the new one while the rest of my food got cold on my table (bringing it would have been more customer friendly), I could just about say I was sorry. Only the twister fries were tasty. The new Whopper with proper toppings was lukewarm. The chili nuggets tasted like they had been in a musty cupboard for years. Never again to this BK.

Try someone other than a poorly speaking and deaf guy behind the drive thru so that I get my order the way I order it.... Small menu instead of King size. No sauces...

Today we went through the drive thru at the end of the afternoon. We were helped by the friendliest and happiest employee ever and also clearly understood. As a company you can be happy with such employees!

100x better than the KFC or Mac in Veenendaal.

Unfortunately, at 6:00 PM there were no more milkshakes, no apple juice and we could only choose sparkling. Tables weren't really cleaned. Many seniors, they needed a lot of time to place an order. This resulted in a very long line at the ordering kiosks (perhaps deploy someone who can assist with this?). The food tasted great.

Went through the drive, went fine. When we were parked we discovered that the fries had been forgotten. We didn't receive a receipt either. Walked in with everything, had to wait some time. Not even something like 'we'll be there soon'. After a while someone finally came to the counter. Didn't speak Dutch (doesn't matter) very arrogant, didn't look at us. She clearly didn't feel like it. She had some trouble with the receipt, suddenly an angry 'open the bag!' + childish hand gestures, she needed a code from a citizen. Colleague also came to help I think. Didn't look at us either. Couldn't get a smile or anything from it. Receipt has been printed, something had clearly gone wrong with the order. I was happy to pay for an extra fries that had been forgotten, but because of the attitude of the two, we didn't feel like arguing. I'm easily satisfied, but this was a shame. Enjoy your meal!

Been there a number of times and every time the ice cream machine is defective... Then take your shakes and desserts off the menu.

I just edited my review.... It has become a mess. And I haven't even mentioned the opening hours yet...

This location only comes for food, but the whole does not exhale cosiness or atmosphere. I didn't dare to go the toilets with my young kids. The whole looks a bit dull with (when we were there) full trash cans, wet on the floor. Sitting here is pure because it is functional, but you could make such a moment more fun as BK. Incidentally, we rarely get to fast food license plates, but we do get the feeling that the average Mac atmosphere and experience understand better.

Most nasty burger king I've ever been to. Drive tru takes fifteen minutes before you are helped. 2 XXL menus. What do we get, 2 small twister fries. Do the employees even dare to claim that that is large? Completely blown away. Add a medium drink and, thank goodness, a normal burger. Double the expense for the same menu if it were small. Arrogant employee, uncooperative. What you would expect from someone who is an EMPLOYEE. Anyway, I won't recommend this to anyone.

@brigitte, you're talking about dogs. And children don't lick anything? Sitting with their dirty hands in and on everything. Kudos to these restaurants for allowing dogs inside and annoying the dog haters.

Always something here. Last time the drive thru order was incorrect. Also be up to date with your information! Even the site says that you should already be open. I'm standing in front of a closed door on Sunday at 12:00...

Wait half an hour. Burger cold. Waited 15 minutes for a replacement burger, which made the rest of the food cold. Staff remains friendly, even with each other. Worst Burger King in the Netherlands period, always the same here.

What a place, first they make you wait 50 minutes for your food and then it's cold and unpalatable....😬👎🏻

Not very busy, but still had to wait 2x 20 minutes for order.... Fries: cold Woppers: all the toppings on a maximum of 1/3 part of the sandwich, as if it had fallen.... Reason for slowness: good question... There were almost more staff than customers The way of dealing with customers was also moronic: careless, looking strange when people sigh because they have been waiting so long.... Fast food term clearly does not apply here.

Service is customer unfriendly. The food was very poor, limp fries, hamburger bread was dry, spongy chicken nuggets. Cramped benches to sit on. The upper part is closed, so you eat among the crowds. Cup machine did not work. So to get your deposit back you had to queue at the cash register again. Compared to the McD this is really a terrible mockery!

What a ball, if you order at the drive you have to speak half Dutch and half English and it is still difficult to understand you, at checkout 1 order did not go through so you have to wait extra long and once you finally have your order you will find out when you get home I think there are a few things that are missing.

It's that I can't give less stars, 1 is already too many. After 40 minutes in the drive, we drove out because no car had driven through yet. People in front of me had been standing for an hour and just left. What a crap tent

Through the drive, from queuing to leaving with order almost half an hour, while the line was not long. Unfriendly voice at the ordering post with just "Just say so". Finally, when accepting the job, I ask a question because the price doesn't seem right, but the waiter mumbles something back and starts chatting with colleagues first. It will eventually be resolved, but no excuses or other comments. I wish them a nice evening, but the hatch is already closed. Am the only one still waiting for 1 Double Bacon King. After 15 minutes it's still not my turn, I go and ask. They say they have put it in now. 5 minutes later I get the wrong burger. How hard can it be? Order is entered for you via the order column. You only have to read what has been ordered. And then we come home and it turns out that all the (loaded) fries are not there. Going back is not an option, because you eat the fries with the burger and not separately. Such a shame again....

Staff could not handle a bit of rush. 15+ burgers already ready to serve behind them and are delayed until ice cold. I see a trend in BK customer service that seems to lack basic fast food chain ettiquette. I ate my food ice cold, didnt afford to complain at the time and wait for them to "make it right" which im sure they would have.

Food tasty, freshly made and hot. stupid deposit and way of returning negative points. Tables not clean. Tables are cramped. Parking minimal space. Saving everything for maximum profit principle is clearly noticeable. duuuuuur!

This branch advertises extensively along the road with their “drive tru”, but upon arrival it appears to be closed. Then we had something to eat inside, but it was very cold there (almost no difference from outside in November) and terribly uncomfortable. Furthermore, everything that could be defective was defective. Service was fast and not bad.

I find it incomprehensible and incredibly unhygienic that dogs are allowed inside. People put their dogs on the couch, licking the table and I don't see the tables being cleaned in between. It really can't be where there is food. Use gloves and preferably hair nets when preparing food.

No words for it. If you fancy BK you will find yourself standing in front of a closed door. When you call them you are told that they don't open until 1 o'clock.

Placed a simple order at 7:51 PM, waiting time was more than 25 minutes and from 8:00 PM no more people are allowed in, the food was cold, the whopper was very mediocre and cold. It is indeed the worst establishment I have ever been to and the last time A voucher for another location would be appropriate. Burger King Netherlands

We were stuck in the drive-through for an hour when it wasn't even busy

At first I had to wait a long time for my food, but in the end it was very tasty. The manager Tineke was very rude and angry for no reason, but we all have a bad day sometimes. Still a shame that it was taken out on us.

For the umpteenth time, the restaurant is not open during opening hours. The restaurant was supposed to open at 11:30 am, but it was still closed at 12:00 pm. I have stood in front of a closed door before (20 minutes after opening time). And the bad thing is that they look at you stupidly from inside and don't give any response to open the door or whatever. This is the worst Burger King I know in the Netherlands. Judging by all the bad reviews, I wonder if the head office even cares that they run such a bad branch.

Long waits, cold dishes and unpleasant situations with terminal orders that are taken by others. Hadn't been here in a while, but it hasn't gotten any better. As a company, you cannot process more terminal and drive-in orders with fewer people, at the expense of quality and experience.

Drove to Veenendaal specifically for Burger King, arrived at 8:10 PM. The door of the restaurant said they were open until 9:00 PM, but the restaurant was already closed. Then went through the drive, where a garbage bin blocked the road. In the end I couldn't order anything and eat without giving a reason. Bizarre.

Terrible restaurant staff can hardly speak normal Dutch, they work very slowly while the entire restaurant is full. Food is a big disappointment. I waited 20 for just fries. And all orders before and after me were wrong. Conclusion please drive to the nearest McDonald's, at least you can enjoy your food there.

Not what it used to be. Long waiting times, extremely small portions. Don't go. Upset stomach all evening.

Good food, the Junior Whopper could have been warmer. My main issue is the deposit on the cups; it only works with "Tikkie", which is not really convenient for foreigners. In the end I didn't find a way to get my 1 EUR back so I just gave the coupon to a kid, who was really happy with it.

Slow service, cold fries, lukewarm burger, drive thru closed...

They seemed to have improved on getting orders right. Still be clear when ordering a 'regular' Big King, if not explicitly told they will upsell you the Big King XXL. Also unfortunately, asking for 'No Onions' might still get you onions. The Master grill burgers are actually quite tasty and a whole lot less of a 'mess'.

I was the only one at the cash register for a few minutes to order. Still not addressed by staff, but left again.
