The burgers were cold!! Terribly bad.

The pillar just gives errors, so order at the cash register. Cold food, fries portions are completely wrong, and the cup return machine didn't work either. If you want to throw money away, want cold food, like dirty tables, and enjoy it when nothing works properly, then I would recommend this place!

We just had to wait 25 minutes for 2 ice creams. We ordered extra sauce for both ice creams; one had no sauce and the other had very little. Additionally, we had to pay an extra €1 for a deposit cup for each ice cream, as we had no other option. We received the ice creams in a disposable cardboard cup. Furthermore, the shop smelled very strongly of old frying oil. We will not be coming back.

I don't understand why people have 10/10 expectations for a McDonald's or a Burger King. I mean... Surely you know it's not a 5-star restaurant, but a fast-food chain with people working for minimum wage who still try their very best. The food isn't the best, just like everywhere, but that seems pretty obvious, right? That's no surprise.

Giving everything 1 star; in the end, I didn't even get inside. They opened way too late, I stood waiting in front of a closed door and was rudely brushed off. Not here again.

This Burger King does not open during opening hours. We stood outside the door for more than fifteen minutes, and when we knocked on the window, we received a grumpy look in return and were curtly brushed off.

Nothing wrong with that. And fortunately never as busy as at the neighbor's.

Exactly what you'd expect from a Burger King. I've never had a cold order, had to wait long, or been treated rudely. Better than the KFC down the road!

Burger King, you should be ashamed... it really wasn't that busy and everything gave the impression that little attention was paid to it... The toilet was poorly maintained and filthy, with those real pee and limescale rings in the urinals... Afterwards, when washing my hands, I got the feeling my hands were actually getting any cleaner... Trash cans fairly full (just tamp them down with a tamper)... In short, the food was normal, but the restaurant itself could use an upgrade... A bit of a shame

Fries were great! Hamburger overcooked! Toilet was filthy!

The paper roll for the order number was empty, and the ordering machine didn't even have the veggie items displayed above the cash register. There were only three veggie burgers available. This is utter nonsense and shows complete incompetence. We waited 27 minutes for two burgers and nuggets, and then the burgers were cold. What kind of people work here???

The girl who helped me was so incredibly cute. She works SO hard! Her name was Yara, she was completely on her own and also had those annoying Freggles bothering her while she was slaving away trying to keep up with all the orders. If this girl EVER leaves there, Burger King would fall apart (I think)! Give her a raise!!!

Had to wait 30 minutes for the food while it was quiet. The hamburgers were lukewarm. Otherwise, it was tasty.

Two ladies at the counter placed an order for mini fries and a vanilla milkshake. We received the fries in a bag; the fries were lukewarm, so we asked for new ones and received them, which in my opinion was too much trouble.

It is better to find a solution to the problem of the large number of flies, because it negatively impacts the unique experience of the restaurant.

The girl at the serving window apparently wasn't in the mood. She had also forgotten the napkins, and I had to ask her to provide them. She literally stared you out of the place. The food was ready quickly, though.

Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant experience. The children's menu did not include any toys, and we were not given any napkins or cutlery. Moreover, the food was tough and hard. Ordering via the drive-thru was very difficult. Communication was unclear, causing the order to take much longer than necessary. All in all, this experience was very disappointing. Hopefully, something will be done about this, because it really could be better.

The burger was okay, but the fries were awful. They were burnt, cold, and dripping with oil. It honestly ruined the meal. The toilets were disgusting — dirty, with unflushed toilets and skid marks everywhere. It was completely unacceptable and clearly not being cleaned properly.Coke tastes like water 🫠 At this point, it would be better to replace this Burger King with another KFC.

Poorly oiled machine. Had to wait a very long time for an order. Staff who weren't really given clear tasks. The cash register and kitchen system went offline halfway through. Deposit refunds had to be done manually because the cup return machine was broken. What a great place this is.

Worst place ever. They never, ever have the whiskey burger in the evening. Do you guys eat all the burgers yourselves during your break or something? The food is disgusting too… you’d be better off selling the whole place to McDonald’s. At least they do it right.

Easily accessible modern Burger King (in the house style) with plenty of free parking around it. The lady behind the counter is working herself to death. She handles the drive-in and the counter by herself, so it is logical that there are complaints about long wait times and cold food. I think this could be easily solved by adding another person. Fortunately, there are enough tables to sit at during the long wait. But I also saw people moving on to the neighbors, KFC. Furthermore for improvement: There is only one toilet for ladies, gentlemen, and the disabled. And it wasn't clean, probably due to a staff shortage.

I was there very late and got dried-out curly fries and a dry burger. It was inedible; unfortunately, I only found out when I got home, otherwise I would have gone back.

Very bad!! I ordered a long chicken and the wrapping was dirty. The cup was dirty too!! Service is very poor; the manager doesn't know what to do when questions are asked, and I had to wait half an hour for my food. That is ridiculous. The staff could be a bit friendlier and more customer-oriented. And they need to start learning proper Dutch!!

Not the best Burger King, ordered 4 ice creams, these were given to someone else so no check on the order, then when we got the ice creams there was a dead fly on 1 of them.........

Nice offers and tasty burgers, but not for too often; it's all just a bit too savory and greasy for that. Friendly staff and the drive-thru is often open, which is handy if you're coming by car.

Worthless place!!! Had to wait a very long time Ordered a Whiskymaster specifically WITHOUT cheese. You get home and there's cheese on it twice!!!! I really don't like that. So €9.95 wasted Going back again is absolutely pointless because it would cost me an hour and a half with the driving back and forth and waiting... Such a shame!!! 1 star for the effort

I feel sorry for the Burger King employee whose air conditioning isn't working; that is really unacceptable. The food inside is inedible.

I went here to eat with my family yesterday. What a filthy Burger King, the tables were still completely dirty, and the floor under the milkshake area was dirty, the benches were dirty too. Then we went to sit upstairs where flies were buzzing all around us; it was very disgusting. The trash can was overflowing with trash. The food wasn't tasty either and was all very dry. And that was my birthday meal. I am disappointed.

Great food. Actually better than 'the other one'. Sitting inside looks a bit spartan. The staff isn't very motivated, but they do what you would expect.

To be honest, I find the food cold and gross; there was a hair in my drink, the burgers were very dry, and there was a lot of sauce just to give it some flavor, so as far as I'm concerned, they can close the whole place down.

I don't know where they pull these slow people from, but my goodness, they really can't work. The food was cold, waited at least half an hour, the sandwich was drowning in mustard and wasn't tasty.

In the meantime, we have been waiting for our food for almost 20 minutes. It took a very long time before people were even served their orders, so much so that someone only came on the line when the driver in front of us started honking. Then we tell the lady at the drive-thru counter that we find it outrageous, and she is told that she is working alone because the rest didn't show up or called in sick. I just feel instantly sorry for her. So, we are never coming to this Burger King again.

26 minutes to get food, not acceptable

This is already the 4th time that something has gone wrong at the drive-thru with an order of more than 3 items.

Bad management, uninterested staff, no toilet paper; when asked, the girls didn't know, they never go into the toilet. Toilet stinks of shit and there are flies present. Tables filthy, food scraps and hair are not cleaned. They make BBQ XXL without fresh onions and forget to include the mayonnaise. People, STAY AWAY from here!!!!!! Worthless location, different management and staff or close this place down. Ughhhhhhh

Very, very bad service. Took 20+ minutes to get our order and then it was wrong 😑. Only two front service staff over lunch time on a Friday afternoon. The back kitchen staff was extremely slow. Seriously disappointed. Plan better!! 🤬🤬

That ice cream machine broken again, cola was lukewarm, no napkin with it (drive-thru), and shelling out 21 euros for 2 hamburgers with 1 small cola. I'll drive on to Stroe from now on.

Has gone downhill enormously.. Was reasonable, well, hopeless. Food often old and/or cold. Rock-hard chicken burgers that have been sitting in the fryer way too long. The staff don't care at all, if they can even speak Dutch. Very disappointing.

Burger King always regretfully struggle with atmosphere

5 stars for the friendly English speaking girl who helped us ! But.. The drinks where prepared 10 minutes before our bacon/cheese/fries where prepared. So I asked for a new coffee instead of the one that was getting cold for about 10 minutes. Got a new coffee, then I asked for sugar, they didnt have any sugar... So, asked for a refund for my coffee, which I hope to get some day. Our bacon/cheese/fries where served with spoons, so we went and asked for forks... No forks available.. Ever tried to eat your fries covered in cheese with a spoon ?????? Don't use the 1th floor, unless you are prepared to see fights between teenagers ( allways nice for your small kids to watch teenagers to try and kill eachother.) One star it too much..

Great location, however ... the barcode scanners on the kiosks don't work. Logging into your account on the kiosk and ordering a weekly special after having to punch in the code manually doesn't work and errors out when you want to pay. Service is extremely slow and we waited probably 20 minutes for our food. Food arrived and fries were all over the tray. No napkins provided. Overall a really poor experience.

We ordered two burgers and a six-piece nugget order and waited for over half an hour, even though the place wasn't even full!! Disaster…

Update: I called angrily. I was called back later by the manager. He explained it nicely and apologized. I received a voucher for a free burger. Genuinely satisfied with how he handled it. They are welcome to update the opening hours on the website and Google. Open at 11:00? After waiting outside the door for fifteen minutes, I just left. Knocking and waving are ignored. They see me standing there, but choose to ignore me. Worthless.

No menu. My husband asks where it is. Oh, we forgot about you. It will be here within 5 min Cold What a rubbish place....

What a worthless branch, had to wait 35 minutes! while there were only 5 small orders ahead of us and the drive-thru wasn't busy at all. Once I received the order, I expressed my dissatisfaction, but the lady just walked away even after repeating it. On top of that, 2 out of 8 items were missing. You can't call it fast food at all anymore; you won't see me there again, I'll go to the neighbors instead.

Tidy, reasonable prices and friendly staff

Been there twice now. The food was decent. The service was uninterested. The stairs to the upper floor were already blocked well before closing time. So I couldn't use the toilet upstairs. It had probably already been cleaned. So everyone on the ground floor went to the disabled toilet, which was too filthy to look inside. The tables were also dirty. I had to ask for them to be cleaned. This was the last time.

Update 23 Dec 2025; After a dip in service and quality, I've been satisfied again in recent weeks. Especially today; I've literally never seen such a cheerful person in a fast-food restaurant. Fantastic! This person also offered energy drinks to the rest of the staff and tried to encourage others to get in a good mood as well. The food was ready quickly and in good condition! There was also delicious fresh lettuce, and for a change, it was clean inside. That's definitely something they could improve on. 2022; For several months now, we've been waiting to see if they're open. They don't communicate anything about opening hours. BK, people specifically come to you, so make sure your opening hours are available online! There was another waste of gas today. I arrived at 10:05 PM and the light was on, but I received a notification that you'd already been closed for three hours. Can I claim my 24 km of gas from you then?! I was really craving a plant-based Whopper and am usually happy with the service, but your arbitrary (short) opening hours and communication are terrible. Why are other stores on the same site open?

Truly the dirtiest BK! The toilet looks like it was last cleaned in the last century, with indefinable splatters all the way up to the ceiling.

The main goal was the toilet, but we also ate a little. The Twister fries were very good, the chicken nuggets not so much.

Burger King Veenendaal stands for quality and consistency. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared, and of a high standard. The service is professional, fast, and extremely friendly. The clean, peaceful atmosphere and excellent value make this restaurant highly recommended. A location where hospitality and quality come together. 👑

Beware! They'll give you fake change as change. We paid 50 euros, and they only gave you fake change. Check carefully what kind of money they give you back.

If you're hungry, you can pop in, but otherwise it's a dreary place. Drive a few hundred meters further and you'll find McDonald's. It does have some atmosphere, though.

Based on my own experience, I'm satisfied with this Burger King. I usually go when it's still quiet, and then the food is ready quickly and tastes good. I'm a big Burger King fan, and it's much better than the yellow M.

I attended an event every first Sunday for three months and placed an order here through the Drive-In each time. I received the wrong order three times in a row. And the third time, even after changing it, the order was wrong. I had higher expectations for Burger King.

This is truly the worst BK there is. Be prepared, you'll literally stand in line for half an hour for your food if the restaurant is even open. This place is absolutely useless.

Often drive tru order incorrect and never really felt welcome.

Digital ordering takes a lot of time and there's not enough explanation on the screen to arrange your rewards. When you think, "I've got it," there are no rewards products you've earned as points, which haven't been added to the order. If I want to order them (points offers) even though I've entered the code, I don't have enough time to ask for an explanation because it's often very busy with dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru orders being processed simultaneously. The guarantee is that the take-away order is freshly prepared and the food is hot when you eat it immediately. We'd like to see more explanation to make it easier to add the points rewards to orders.

Here, they still pay attention to the burger making process. Everything is neatly stacked, even the cheese is placed on top of the meat instead of halfway to the side to prevent the cheese from melting. The location is also excellent, close to the highway entrances and exits. Plenty of parking.

I find this Burger King really disappointing compared to others we are used to, the food was not warm, not all the staff were equally friendly and a neat appearance.
