Burger King in Wijk 00 Kerkrade-West

They forgot a playpen with our order. So I went to order a new one and asked if they would bring it upstairs. Sorry sir, but we don't have enough staff. They made a mistake and I ended up eating cold food. If the children don't get a toy in their playpen, I went to ask for the toys. Then I was told that they don't have any toys. Management: do something about this branch! It is not for nothing that this branch is so quiet!!!

I understand that it is difficult to find staff, and I can perhaps accept that no Dutch is spoken. But displaying downright antisocial behavior and not even bothering to answer normal questions is completely unacceptable.

What a terrible place. You stand there waiting a ridiculously long time for a 2-kid menu and a separate burger; it cost almost 20 euros. You say something about it, and you just get told off by the manager. "Yes ma'am, there are people waiting even longer." Not even an apology or anything. As if it's normal to have to wait 20/25 minutes. We wanted to eat there, but we had to take it away because it all took so long. I asked for mayo with the order. I don't get it, so I say something about it. It's not listed with the order even though I asked for it. Not even a sorry or anything. So rude, truly awful. People shouldn't go here anymore, or they should put different staff in place who know what work is and how to treat staff. So slow, everything done at a leisurely pace. I'm definitely not going here again!!

It’s always dirty all around here. Employees seems to only be focusing on completing task without acknowledging customer order times while playing it rude. . My 3 hamburgers have taken more than 20minuted to be served at 21:40 when it’s like 5ppl here. Lack of productive staff results in long waiting times and is destroying quality of service. :still have mix ups with my orders constantly ,without any change. Honestly I’m glad to know which place to avoid)) Perhaps yo should too)

Worst Burger King. I have a Burger King nearby and it is 100 times better than this. The food wasn't tasty and I've never seen such stingy people. There was a tiny sliced ​​tomato and a spoonful of lettuce in my burger. You pay about 7.50 for that, but around here they stuff your burger full. Never again.

I had ordered two ice creams and a milkshake, and we had to wait 35 minutes before we received them. By then, I had spontaneously lost interest in the ice cream, and the people working there aren't exactly friendly either. After 35 minutes, we could finally get the ice cream, so I went to the counter and wished the gentleman a nice weekend, but he didn't even say thank you, turned around, and just sat talking to himself. So, not a good experience.

At 9 p.m., we had to wait 15 minutes for an ice cream, even though there were only 2 (small) orders ahead of us. The staff had to look at the screen 10 times before they took action. Otherwise, they just stood around chatting amongst themselves. You can't call this fast food anymore…

Downright bad. It is filthy, the staff are unclear, the unfriendliness borders on aggression, and the food is terrible.

After years of being bad, it is now back in top order; clean and the food is superb.

You'd better drive on. It was really bad!! We had placed an order, but upon receiving it, it was incomplete. This happened with another order (family) as well. The burgers were lukewarm and dry. We had asked for extra salt on the fries, but that wasn't provided either. I had already noticed that several people were returning from the deposit machine. It does not work properly. It didn't work for us either. The girl indicated that they had forgotten to scan the cups, but that was not the case!! They came to the table to do it. After several attempts, the machine finally worked. You get a QR code that you have to scan with your phone. However, you then have to enter your details. I didn't want to do that. It had just been hacked, and Tikki itself too, so yeah... I was told then that this was my problem and I could kiss my deposit money goodbye. And I'm not talking about 0.15 cents per cup. But 1 euro per cup, so 3 euros in total. My little brother scanned the QR code back then and now has to wait 3 days for the deposit. Hahaha, so a worthless system.

It’s become so bad. Little Whopper. Everything cold. Not the Whoppers of the past anymore. So big you could barely get it in your mouth. And now... never again.

The staff were not pleasant at all! The fries were like cardboard, the order wasn't complete… A cheeseburger with Whoppers sauce, onions, and a salad that was at least a week old, all slimy and juicy. I could have given it 0/5 without hesitation.

Bought menu with reusable cup and the staff a pink hair bimbo didnt offer me refill even tho i politely asked for it. In Tilburg the machine is in the middle of the store and everybody has unlimited refill, i just needed to refill once and she told me to buy another drink And a black guy that does the food put the vegetables in the burgers using his hands without gloves They move in slowmotion, have bad attitude, definetly will never eat at this Burger King before

We received good, friendly service. The food was tasty. But I find it inhumane that there is no air conditioning for the staff at 40 degrees above zero.

What a terrible atmosphere and service here. I ordered an expensive milkshake for €4.50 (Oreo), and I got a measly scoop of Oreo in it. It tasted almost like a regular milkshake. When I asked if I could have an extra scoop, because I'm used to mine being well-filled, I got the manager who said he didn't want to help me. You're not happy with your shake, well, too bad then. Inhuman. The burgers were also very dry; there was hardly any sauce on them. It looks like a stingy Burger King.

I have placed orders multiple times; either the order is wrong or cancelled without notice, or you call them and they are incredibly rude. I would stay far away from ordering from here.

This Burger King is the inventor of "wait" food...

I go there regularly, and the food is top-notch, the service top-notch. The place is neat. You can tell that the regulars aren't there, like you have to search for the cheese and bacon on loaded fries. Instead of a fork and such, you get a satay stick to toss your fries from left to right. With that regular crew who have been there for as long as I've been coming, everything is always top-notch. It's a shame that the new or different team doesn't really have the drive.

Order of over 63 euros and 3 portions of fries forgotten, including 2 portions of curly fries. No sauces included, bad service. Don't go here people, they forget half of your order 7 out of 10 times!

The waiting times are extremely long and the restaurant is very outdated. The food was quite disappointing and the prices are high for what you get. Not recommended. The atmosphere was okay though.

This is the best fast food burger place in the area. Good sides, good selection and price is competitive with others. Access to this location is a bit limited due to construction but not the establishments fault.

The service was unfriendly (not all of it, though ;) but the men's restroom was downright filthy. It stank terribly of piss, the urinal was clogged, and there was no hand soap either. The coupons didn't work at the ordering kiosk.

Few people in the drive-through and shop. There was a long wait, though. After paying, I was asked to park on the street. After 10 minutes, I was asked again to park on the street (the main road). I inquired about the waiting time myself; it was 20 minutes. Asking for a refund was only possible if I went through the drive-through again; they wouldn't do that on the street. Strange practices...

The food is okay for a Burger King and it is reasonably clean. But the service is very bad and very slow. Burger King shouldn't call itself fast food anymore. 🤷‍♂️

A nice Burger King within sight of the Roda Stadium. The staff is friendly, but due to the ordering kiosks, you only have limited interaction with them. The upper floor is nicely and practically furnished, and overall the restaurant is clean and tidy. The tiled floor is comfortable to walk on and feels wonderful underfoot 👣. They also don't use any of those greasy cleaning products that leave footprints everywhere, like in German fast-food restaurants.

The Whopper is delicious! Otherwise, it's casual, the atmosphere is mediocre, and the opening and closing times are weird. Google often said it was open when it turned out to be closed. I also had one instance where it was originally listed as open for another 15 minutes, but the doors were already shut? The staff doesn't say a word and the service is also very basic, but then again, that might be because if I do go there—which isn't often—it's usually before or after Roda JC matches, meaning the location itself is already quite packed with Roda JC supporters. Anyway, the food is fine, but whether it's better than McDonald's… I'll leave that discussion open, but you guys are definitely better than KFC; I mean, you wouldn't even feed that food to your dog…

Bad service, ordered for delivery and received nothing, called and that guy was rude and offered no solution. Then went to Burger King to pick up food, didn't get your food even though it was paid for. Stupid employee for that matter.

You order loaded fries, and you get this pathetic mess. No cutlery included either, super convenient for eating on the go. The only upside to these plain fries is that my fingers aren't covered in sauce from the food, because of course the cutlery is missing. Wasted money..

Worst place to eat, every time cold burgers

It was really disappointing this time. It wasn't really clean. The food was lukewarm. You ask for no ice, but you get it anyway. Which makes the drinks taste even more watery. No staff speaking real Dutch. There wasn't even any atmosphere. Outside there is a large construction site. So I won't be going back anytime soon.

We ate here tonight and the burgers were super dry. A chocolate milkshake that isn't chocolate, and you have to ask for chocolate sauce! Stupid! And then you order the most expensive ice cream, the Fusion, for €3.45, plus extra sauce and extra Twix = also + €1, so you're already at almost €5!!!! And then you get this tiny thing!

We went to Burger King Kerkrade today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We ordered four menus and four King Fusion ice creams, paying a total of €65. First, it turned out there was no water left, but we weren't told this beforehand. I find that rude – you should inform customers of these things immediately. Then we got the King Fusion ice creams, but what we received was completely different from what you normally get. It was a small scoop of ice cream with some loose bits of topping on top. When we asked why it was so small, the employee even said she "had actually already scooped too much." That felt neither customer-friendly nor professional. For €65, you expect the quality and service you're used to. This was truly subpar. It's a shame, because I'm not used to that from Burger King. Unfortunately, this was our last time here. Next time, we'll just go to McDonald's.

What a rude place this has become, with unfriendly staff and employees who don't even speak proper Dutch. I ordered a large banana milkshake, and it was only half full and didn't even have ice cream in it. It was more like warm frothy milk. I spent a day and a half trying to reach them, and when I finally got someone, I was treated rudely, and all they said was, "I was busy." They wanted proof that we only had a half-full milkshake. You can tell when I worked there, it wasn't like that. They were always friendly and always answered the phone politely, but this takes the cake. I'm never going back, and if I were you, I'd stay away too.

STAY AWAY!!! 1 STAR IS STILL TOO MUCH. The place is filthy, the staff is incredibly unfriendly and incompetent, and it takes ages to get your food. Even if no one else is there, it takes ages, your order is never correct (wrong ingredients, no sauce, etc.), and still, your food is almost cold, tastes terrible, and there's practically no sauce on your burger... it seems like they make you wait so long on purpose, make your food poorly, with little sauce and tasteless, and deliberately leave it until it's almost cold... it's been bad here in Kerkrade for years. I thought it couldn't get any worse, but it does. It gets worse every week... many people write reviews about the same experiences... shouldn't Burger King do something about this? There's nothing King can do about it. People should just avoid this place altogether until something changes.

They got my order wrong and this was not found out before getting home. Seeing the place was nearly empty it baffles me that they still mix up orders. The fries are rock solid and I don't understand how they have the audacity to call their loaded fries actually loaded.

Fast food isn't fast food. The service is VERY bad. People before me got their food late. I'd guess an hour before their wait time. I waited half an hour myself. The staff were incredibly slow with pre-orders. It's hopeless. Don't eat here if you're going to the movies. Absolutely don't go. Edit: I saw a couple who even got a refund after a long wait. Wow. Edit 2: I went back recently. I thought, "They can't mess up two burgers." Unfortunately, it took 15 minutes. We had to stand apart because they couldn't keep up with the drive-thru (literally only three cars. Late at night). And I only spoke broken Dutch. So I even got the wrong order. Of course, it was my fault for coming back here to this mess.

Unbelievably bad for a Burger King. This chain has gone downhill so fast. €7.45 for a Royal Cheese Chicken Burger, and what you get for that is a soggy bun with a slice of cheese, a slice of tomato, and something that resembles chicken. Absolutely not value for money.

Treated so disrespectfully/grumpily at the drive-thru by a dark-skinned woman with long, colored hair extensions. A lesson in hospitality might be in order for the woman. No more Burger King for us if they treat guests like this.

Young lady with purple hair at the counter is rude as hell, food wasn't that good, wrong working hours it says till 11 but its actually till 10. Fries were cold and "large" is actually super small, I can't imagine how the small fries are, shame on you burger king I'm disappointed.

It's time for @Burgerking to intervene. This can't be right, what a mess at a prime location. I can't comment on staffing, but this location (Kerkrade) will be closed if this continues. The wait times in the drive-through are sometimes shorter. #puttingittoo Average 40 minutes in the drive-through. A top location with a poor policy. Short-staffing is nonsense; the competition isn't affected by this. The food here isn't bad, but all in all, it's not recommended. I think if you drive to Aachen, you'll be faster. This review was written in the drive-through, the wait time is currently 45 minutes. #comedy The worst Burger King ever, truly not recommended! 400 different opening hours, what a crappy place. 1. Its always busy 2. Multiple times now they got my order wrong and today i got someone else's. So not only did i not get what i ordered, i also lost money 3. The place needs a good scrub. Like a really really good clean. Maybe some trash collectors too. 4. Staff was short and impatient 5. No drinks no icecream no nuggets no milkshakes. Im surprised they even had fries available. Honestly, skip this one. Or better yet, get a better meal next door for the same price, than here. Not worth it. I recommend the BK on the border to Belgium, if you really want some. They always have fresh food. So much more choices in drinks and the quality of the food is just sooo much better.

Got takeout from this Burger King tonight. There were no cars in the drive-through, so ordering was quick. I paid at the second window and then had to wait on the street. There were two cars, so I was the third person waiting. It's not a convenient place to wait because traffic from other restaurants comes and goes, blocking everything...why not just wait in the drive-through itself? Luckily, the wait wasn't too bad. I quickly checked the bag to make sure everything was in there, and yes, everything seemed to be there. Until I got home and realized that instead of chili cheese nuggets (which the receipt actually says), the bag contained chicken nuggets. A real bummer, because those things taste like nothing without sauce. Driving back isn't an option either, unfortunately. Such a shame.
