Was waiting 45 minutes for 1 burger and 3 ice cream and still didn't received full order one thing was missing. Staff is working like it's theirs first day on the earth

The restaurant was very dirty and it was a bad experience; the treatment by the staff was extremely bad.

It always takes way too long. The staff is incredibly slow, and the food from the drive-thru is always cold. I don't think management cares because nothing changes. This place is a no-go for me.

Young lady with purple hair at the counter is rude as hell, food wasn't that good, wrong working hours it says till 11 but its actually till 10. Fries were cold and "large" is actually super small, I can't imagine how the small fries are, shame on you burger king I'm disappointed.

Good Burger King but few staff.

Update: December 29, 2025 Nothing in stock and/or sold out for three weeks now. Because the "manager" forgot to order it. I've already driven there three times and the same old story. It's time for @Burgerking to intervene. This can't be right, what a mess at a prime location. I can't comment on staffing, but this location (Kerkrade) will be closed if this continues. The wait times in the drive-through are sometimes shorter. #puttingittoo Average 40 minutes in the drive-through. A top location with a poor policy. Short-staffing is nonsense; the competition isn't affected by this. The food here isn't bad, but all in all, it's not recommended. I think if you drive to Aachen, you'll be faster. This review was written in the drive-through, the wait time is currently 45 minutes. #comedy The worst Burger King ever, truly not recommended! 400 different opening hours, what a crappy place. Really awful.

Waited for 35 minutes for “fast” food and finally left before I wasted anymore time waiting for 1 item.

Too few staff... long wait... even to order at the counter. The food was okay... huge parking around the whole place (Roda JC), luckily there was no football on...

1. Its always busy 2. Multiple times now they got my order wrong and today i got someone else's. So not only did i not get what i ordered, i also lost money 3. The place needs a good scrub. Like a really really good clean. Maybe some trash collectors too. 4. Staff was short and impatient 5. No drinks no icecream no nuggets no milkshakes. Im surprised they even had fries available. Honestly, skip this one. Or better yet, get a better meal next door for the same price, than here. Not worth it. I recommend the BK on the border to Belgium, if you really want some. They always have fresh food. So much more choices in drinks and the quality of the food is just sooo much better.

Got takeout from this Burger King tonight. There were no cars in the drive-through, so ordering was quick. I paid at the second window and then had to wait on the street. There were two cars, so I was the third person waiting. It's not a convenient place to wait because traffic from other restaurants comes and goes, blocking everything...why not just wait in the drive-through itself? Luckily, the wait wasn't too bad. I quickly checked the bag to make sure everything was in there, and yes, everything seemed to be there. Until I got home and realized that instead of chili cheese nuggets (which the receipt actually says), the bag contained chicken nuggets. A real bummer, because those things taste like nothing without sauce. Driving back isn't an option either, unfortunately. Such a shame.

The worst Burger King I've ever seen. The staff is incredibly rude. They call you crazy because you don't understand everything from the first sentence, and they mock you, making stupid faces. I've never seen such a pathetic Burger King in my life. You order, half the menu isn't available, and the food is practically cold when it arrives. A nightmare.

Ordering went smoothly. My son and I had the ultimate cheddar burger. Well, it had two slices of cheddar, but you really had to search for the sauce. We had to drink with almost every bite to get rid of this dry burger. And my burger had three tiny onion rings, etc., on it. The same goes for the loaded fries. The cheese sauce was nonexistent. It just keeps getting worse and worse. Normally, we would have gone to the cash register. But having to explain everything in English isn't worth the effort anymore.

Rude older man (I think he's a manager) working there. No customer service or even polite tone of voice. No apology when something is bad.

Unfortunately, they don't adhere to the opening hours. We had to wait 25 minutes before they opened, and the staff was inside, but they didn't seem to care.

It's hard to grasp how much food you eat, how much you eat, and how much you can afford to eat. The attached photo shows it was served in a dirty, smelly, reused cup, and the amount of ice cream was ridiculous. Afterward, I had to go to the men's room to wash my hands, and there was a young man who probably wiped himself with his socks, because there was no toilet paper. I understand and support environmental policy, but this is utterly ridiculous and outrageous.

It was a dirty place. More attention should be paid to cleanliness. No one checked if the trash bin was full.

Absolutely terrible. Waited 40 minutes for a small order. People were angry, and the staff had no control over the orders. People were all mixed up, queues from the drive-through, and to top it all off, a nearly cold burger. I have no idea what's happening, but the staff is working very slowly, doesn't communicate with each other, and seems to be just winging it.

There were three people in the kitchen doing almost nothing, and it took almost 20 minutes to get your order (called inside). There were only two guests in the restaurant. I won't be coming back.

I had to wait at least half an hour for my food. I had the impression the staff didn't know what they were doing. They couldn't get it done, and it gave off an extremely slow work cadence. People were waiting fifteen minutes before they could even order.

My wife and I were there yesterday, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! The guy behind the counter, in particular, took his job seriously and enjoyed his work. The food was hot, tasted great, and was ready quickly.

After a long time, I tried BK again at the Roda Stadium. Although the staff were friendly and the food was okay, it's still a slow concept there!

Unfortunately, this Burger King has gone downhill over the years. We've never had it right the first time. You order at the kiosk, but before your order is ready... that's fine when it's very busy, but with two customers in the store and none at the drive-through, it's strange to have to wait fifteen minutes. And when it's finally ready, you still miss things... the result: the rest is cold because you have to wait again. The ratio of fries wasn't right either. Not much compared to other locations. This has happened every time. I filed a complaint about it before, but unfortunately, things keep going wrong at this location. From no fries with the menu to giving orange juice instead of the ordered 7-Up. I'm another customer whose order was wrong. You should at least get hot food with an order over €80.

Long waits for your order, an average of 30 minutes or longer, and then half of it is lukewarm or cold. Very strange. This isn't an exception; it's happening more and more often. Today, the fries were warm but the burgers were cold. My drink was only half full.

We waited over 30 minutes for our order. When we asked, we were told the slip had been "lost" – we demanded our money back. This isn't fast food; in most proper restaurants, you get your food faster. While we were waiting, six other customers complained that either the food was cold or the wrong food was served. In one case, the amount was even charged twice. After we had to wait another 15 minutes for our refund, the manager's response to our criticism was completely unprofessional... If we could, we would give it 0 stars. We won't be visiting this Burger King again and strongly advise against it!

I called these people to ask for new food in exchange of the old food after my order went wrong plus cold food and spoiled milkshakes they said that they will get back to me and they didn’t after 10 minutes I called them 15 times and nobody picked up… not professional very ignorant and rude customer service.

Way too busy. I haven't been back for a while because there's no real one nearby, and I found the hygiene terrible. There's a new system with cups you can return, but it's not explained. I had to wait a very long time. And the food used to be much better. No more B&Bs for me.

Paid for fries, went back twice, and never got them. Burger King needs to be shut down because it's terrible. Wrong orders, disgusting to eat there, etc. It's a shame you can't give a 0 rating in reviews, because even a 1 is too high. It's a good way to get sick.

Unfortunately this Burger King is a complete disappointment. Even though there were hardly any customers the restaurant was dirty and unkempt despite having plenty of staff on site. After placing our order we had to wait far longer than necessary while the employees moved at an extremely slow pace and showed little motivation. To make matters worse there was no ketchup available - on a Saturday. My burger was also prepared incorrectly: although I specifically asked to have certain ingredients left out I received a burger with exactly those. The ordering system is also frustrating as it forces you to take a so called sustainable cup with a deposit which you can only redeem after returning it. This setup feels confusing and unnecessarily complicated. Overall a very disappointing experience - poor service lack cleanliness and a disorganized system. To Germans: Es lohnt sich schon preislich die paar Kilometer nach Deutschland zum Burger king zu fahren. Es ist Sau teuer, wenn man hier ohne App und Coupons isst. Da zumal Kinder oft gewisse Dinge wollen die es so im Menü nicht gibt - in Deutschland kann man schlau Menüs kombinieren. Drei Pommes ein Cheeseburger und eine Cola sowie ein Long chicken kosten 21€?!

I've never been to such a bad and disgusting Burger King. I waited over 20 minutes for my food. The staff were absolutely rude. During the time I was there, four people complained because the food was wrong. My burger, for which I paid an extra €1 for bacon, was disgusting. This place is the reason I won't go to a Burger King again, and I know why McDonald's is better. A good tip: don't go to the place and don't do this to yourself!

The Food Was Great but there was Loads Of Wasps

Bad milkshakes. At the beginning of this year, I had one good milkshake, but after that, I was consistently disappointed. When it's only 20 degrees Celsius outside, a milkshake can be quite firm. But here, it's always sugar water. Yesterday we were in the area and decided to give it another try. We ordered a milkshake at the drive-thru; we were the only ones there, so we were immediately served (10 seconds after ordering). The milkshake was just water. So I handed it back and told her it was water, not a shake. The woman looked at me and decided it was "normal." We threw the milkshake away (a waste of money) and drove to McDonald's, where the milkshake was firm. Thankfully. I've given this place a "sometime" often enough; I won't be back.

More than 20 minutes waiting time

Trash was piled everywhere, trays piled high and low, tables uncleaned. I won't be going back there for a while.

After the drive-through, I had to wait another 15 minutes for my order, so my Sunday ice cream turned into a Sunday smoothie. If it's busy and you have to wait, bring the ice cream along with the delayed order. When I got home, I found a piece of plastic in my burger. Yummy. 🙄

The burger was good. A quick bite. Friendly staff. We ate outside in the parking lot. The atmosphere was bland, real fast food. :)

Went here today for ice cream, they didn't have it, the girl said, "I'll try and see if anything comes out." She didn't speak Dutch either, so I said, "Okay, good bye," because everything looked dirty.

What a filthy, dirty restaurant this is! Unworthy of Burger King! The food was not good, the fries were undercooked and few! Much less than they should be. After ordering, you have to wait another 15 minutes for your food (which isn't even cooked yet). There was feces on the toilet seat and floor in the women's restroom. We were there for over an hour, and no one checked the restroom, although they wouldn't let us eat upstairs because it hadn't been cleaned. That's why the floor was so sticky and dirty. I've honestly never seen such a bad restaurant, and I advise everyone against going here. Drive a few minutes further, but avoid this place at all costs 🤮

First, I had to wait over 25 minutes for my food, while the drive-thru saw one customer after another happily leave. I was told they were short-staffed. As a manager, take matters into your own hands and close the drive-thru or the restaurant. But afterward, little could be expected of the manager on duty. The deposit machine for cups wasn't working, and there was a line at the cash register, so I wanted to ask the manager if she could help me. But before I could ask my question, I think they were referring me to the cash register using some kind of sign language. And she walked away. I asked the cashier if she could speak. It turned out she could, and she even spoke Dutch. I told him that her behavior was very unprofessional for a manager.

Fast food isn't fast food. The service is VERY bad. People before me got their food late. I'm guessing an hour before their wait time. I waited half an hour myself. The staff were incredibly slow with pre-orders. It's hopeless. Don't eat here if you're going to the movies. Absolutely don't go. Edit: I saw a couple who even got a refund after waiting so long. Wow.

Thinking about grabbing a quick snack and a shake before the movie? We arrived half an hour before the movie was supposed to start. After half an hour, the order still wasn't ready. Then they arrived. Yes, the machine was broken. I wanted my money back, but that wasn't possible either. The movie had already started, and we didn't get anything. So I left to watch some more. €15 lighter and still got nothing.

Waited for my food for almost 20 mins even tho it was not busy at all. My burger got almost too cold while waiting for them to finally call my order number and did not appreciate at all the attitude of the employee when I told her my fries were missing. The fries barely had any salt. My feet were sticking to the floor everywhere. Very disappointed

Sad. The hamburger and fries were definitely fine. Order a large and you get a medium cola. We went back. We don't have large cups anymore. They're charging for a large, though. They don't do anything else. No more kids' boxes. Want ice cream? Waiting 20 minutes before your ice cream is ready is perfectly fine.

I noticed that every time I add extra sauce to the potatoes or it depends on what is needed, they never add what is extra. Today when I ordered potatoes with cheddar sauce and bacon, I selected x3 extra sauce. The order was ready and when she saw that the portion of potatoes was exactly the same as always, I told the person working about this incident and she couldn't even say anything, she just took the portion of potatoes and added very little sauce. I understand that these requests can be annoying, but when I have the opportunity to add something extra and I pay for it, I want to receive it. If the staff continues with this behavior, it will destroy the goodness of this location, I mention that I had the order with no. 884 in case you want to verify if I really added extra toppings.

Food is unhealthy but very tasty like we all know 😝 There are always less and less personel and they are trying hard to make all us happy.

Slowest fast food restaurant ever. Drinks couldn't be returned and the place wasn't clean.

I visited the Kerkrade branch. The food was good and fresh, no complaints there. My only complaint was that I was in the Netherlands, yet had to order in English—it didn't feel very welcoming. The service was disappointing as a result. The shop itself was clean and tidy, though. All in all, not a place I'll be returning to anytime soon. Because I'm in the Netherlands, I'd like to speak Dutch.

You don't get your food and are ignored. Truly antisocial behavior. Hygene regulations are not being followed! Terminals are broken! Cup return at the machine is also broken. Sanitary facilities are absolutely terrible! Staff are simply unfriendly and rude.

What a terrible experience.... I don't go to Burger King often, so I wanted to take my time and pick something out. That wasn't possible because the ordering kiosks were broken. The manager pointed to the advertisement above her on the sign, but it's way too fast to read. She also couldn't explain what chipolet was: "Yes, a new sandwich." I looked it up online, just like the rest of the order.... The other waitress was either new, very stupid, or just slow! The ice in the drinks had been melting for 10 minutes, the sandwiches were already cold before the fries arrived. Dirty, smelly restrooms, and weeds were overgrown outside. I might try again next year, but I'll check inside first!

No napkins available upstairs. The staff only spoke English. One staff member was so unattractive that it ruined your appetite. But the worst part was the restrooms: disgusting! The deposit return system wasn't working because all the cups hadn't been activated. You'd have to wait in line again for that.

What a terrible place! The atmosphere was simply nonexistent, the staff unfriendly, and the food mediocre. My burger had one dollop of sauce on it, and that was it... and we also had half-raw fries. After eating, I wanted to return the cups to the vending machine, but it didn't work... Not recommended!

I went to the toilet first and there was poop smeared all over the toilet seat and the urinals were absolutely filthy. Besides that, the food was delicious, but with that level of hygiene, I don't need it anymore, and the music wasn't very good either.

Last minute bite. We arrived 10minutes before closing and were still able to order (take out only) which we truly appreciated. The burgers we ordered were only semi warm and the toppings like bacon were completely cold. Obviously you don’t go to a BK for the atmosphere but it wasn’t all that bad 🤝

Went through the drive-thru today. Waited almost 25 minutes and then received a third of our order, without a drink. We immediately returned the order with the receipt, only to receive another incomplete order, but with drinks. We parked the car and went back inside with our order. The man behind the counter told us we had everything without checking our bag. We finally took everything out to prove it was incomplete, and the young man agreed with us. He said he would take care of it "right away." It then took us another 15 minutes and six other customers' orders before we received the missing burger. We received no apology whatsoever. Once we got home, we realized we'd been given extra items that we hadn't ordered.

Everything sticks & it stinks so bad

The food was good. You weren't allowed to sit in the restaurant long before closing time. It was messy.

The entire interior is filthy. Water leak? Water all over the entrance. The ordering kiosks don't work properly; I tried to order three times, and each time, it wasn't registered as an order. The staff was slow and unfriendly. I had to wait a very long time for my order even though it wasn't busy. I paid for three deposit cups and received two. We spent almost €50 on three burgers, three drinks, and some fries. We used to enjoy coming here, but now we'll never return.

Upon arrival, there was a garbage can with leaking drinks at the entrance, making the floor sticky. We waited over 35 minutes, and our platter still hadn't started. The burgers had been sitting there for 30 minutes, and in the meantime, they were being handed out to other people. I finally asked for my money back.

Always a garbage dump here. Shoes stick to the floor for the rest of the week. Waiting for over 45 mins for two menus Toilets are more disgusting then a farmers barn.(smell) Rather drive a bit further for a different King, this burger lost its king status….

Quick and tasty for a Long chicken with fries.

Tip: Go to the restrooms first. The urinal hadn't been cleaned in ages. A thick yellow and brown film was forming in the urinal, and all sorts of things were sticking to the walls and dividers. And what a urine stench! If the hygiene in the kitchen was this bad, I'd run out without eating... I wanted to leave immediately, but unfortunately, my wife had already ordered... The food was decent, but I've had better at other Burger Kings.

Ordered 3 small burgers because we had a few minutes to kill before a movie. Waited 15 minutes with absolutely nobody on the staff trying to even look busy. In the 15 minutes not one burger was produced, they made a few drinks and ice creams. After we no longer had time to consume the food and I complained they offered to give me the burgers that stood on the tray in the last 15 minutes. This made no sense to me so I requested and subsequently got a refund. I will under no circumstance consider coming back.

We visit this restaurant regularly. It's quite clean. While someone occasionally drops or spills something, it's quickly cleaned up. The staff is polite. The food is always freshly prepared. I just wish parents would teach their children manners and rules of public behavior.

Waiting too long while there are few people and food has no taste
