A lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and great music. Young, friendly, and very enthusiastic staff, and the food is delicious. All of this makes a visit a real treat.

Terrible food is nothing better than getting a sandwich at the supermarket, it's 10 degrees outside and the waiters are wearing shorts.

A glass of red wine with persistent bubbles, I asked for another, the very muscular boss came to tell me that it was soap and that all the glasses were V like that so if I didn't want soap I had to change drinks. Ok I had a beer. Nice welcome

We had a delicious meal and drinks in the conservatory of this restaurant. Despite the cold outside, the temperature was pleasant. And the waiters were great and friendly!

This is our first time on this beautiful island. We decided to eat here today because the reviews were so good. And they weren't a lie! We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. Our shepherd dog was immediately given a bowl of water. We also had a glass of water with our wine👏🏼 and chose the beef stew and lamb stew. We had a delicious meal! Our dessert (dame blanche) was also delicious😋 Fast service, pleasant conversation, good beer, reasonable prices, and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back 😃👍🏼

Had lunch with the family this afternoon. The service was truly amazing—very professional, super friendly, and also very child-friendly. As soon as we sat down, we were given coloring pages. The kids were hungry, which was our fault, but they were so kind and helpful! The food (toasties, spicy burgers, and pulled pork) was delicious. The food and the restaurant/restrooms, etc., also look very well-maintained; everything is nice and clean. And not to forget: the price-quality ratio is truly excellent! Our compliments! We'll be back soon!

The name caught my attention so much as I strolled past that I wanted to check out the interior. No sooner said than done. We went there for dinner with five people, and what can I say? It's a really cool place, with great staff and excellent service. I'm looking forward to returning on my next Texel vacation. With that in mind, keep up the good work. Best, Patrick

What a fantastic place to eat and relax! The interior was lovingly chosen and perfectly matched to the theme. The food is truly delicious comfort food, especially when the weather is bad. The staff is always friendly, fast, and helpful. The homemade moonshine is highly recommended, especially the Apple Pie and Blood Orange. We immediately took two bottles home. We will definitely eat here again!

Very friendly and attentive service, delicious food, a beautiful conservatory, and an interesting interior (complete with mopeds ☺️). We enjoyed the outdoor area in the sunshine and felt very comfortable. Definitely worth a return visit.

Cozy and full, even on a Tuesday; reservations are required. The service is fast and friendly, the food is fantastic. And the price... reasonable (really not too expensive).

Great food. Wide selection of beers and burgers, as the name suggests. We arrived after 8:00 PM, and when the kitchen closes at 8:30 PM, the staff becomes a bit less friendly. We had a great evening, and we'd love to come back.

If you want to eat hamburgers from the supermarket this is the place. Everything from the store , nothing is made in the restaurant. Is ok for a super hungry

We had the catch of the day, a burger, a T-bone steak, and the soup of the day (mustard soup). Everything was quite tasty, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The service was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommended!

The music is too loud and the food is nothing special. The staff is friendly, though.

The service was really good and the atmosphere was great, which made for a pleasant setting. The burgers, however, felt a bit dry and the bread could have been fresher. I also tried an espresso martini, but it wasn’t quite to my taste. With a few small improvements to the food and drinks, this place could be fantastic.

The four of us dined here tonight. We all had dry-aged rib-eye steaks. We've honestly never had such a delicious rib-eye steak before, oh, and the herb oil that came with it was heavenly! We're going back next week because it was incredibly delicious. And the staff and atmosphere are fantastic too.

What a great burger restaurant! They also have various meat dishes, but we all opted for a burger. I went for the satay burger and asked if it was available in a double version. Of course, it's an extra charge, like at "the Big One." Absolutely recommended if you're craving a burger in De Koog!

I didn't think it was really possible to mess up a burger, a relatively simple dish, and yet they did it! A cheeseburger with not even half a slice of cheese, little/no sauce and especially this meat, whose name could be questioned because of the weird consistency. And I'm not even talking about the cooking, if you have a hole in the wall to fill, you can use their steak. In short, don't go there.

The Sleesy Cheesy burger was almost as dry as the service we received. Shame because the ambiance and beer selection is great!

Very cool restaurant. There were four of us and two dogs. Dogs are welcome. We had delicious burgers with fries and dessert. The service was very friendly, and someone was always there when we needed something. So we didn't have to wait long to order a refill of drinks. The food came quickly, too. Definitely recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great place, great food and 200+ beers and blues music

We had a really good meal there two days before. We saw guests next to us having spare ribs. We said to ourselves, we'd be back. And it was so worth it! I'm a BBQ fan and have had a few. But what we had that evening simply couldn't be topped! The best ribs!!! And a great team!!! Thank you all. Best regards

Had the stew and spare ribs. The spare ribs, unfortunately, lacked flavor. The stew, on the other hand, was very tasty. The fries could have been a bit crispier/well-done. Otherwise, a nice location. Next time I'll try the burger, which is where they get their name from.

The restaurant is worth a visit. The staff here was also very friendly and attentive. My burger with jalapeños had a nice flavor. The buns could have been warmed up a bit for me. The small side salad was also very tasty. Enjoy your meal.

The atmosphere is good, the conservatory is lovely especially with that wind every now and then! Also the service that everything is served so quickly and many types of beer is really great! But I would have liked the lamb burger medium rare but you could not choose (not even asked for it). But it was just delicious!

Delicious food; we had burgers and fish. Adequately large. Prices are okay. Drink prices are high, but that's the case throughout the town. Friendly service; we were even able to order in German. The ambiance is very appropriate. We highly recommend it!

If you love burgers and spare ribs, this is the place for you. A superb roadstop-style ambiance sets this restaurant apart. Top-quality fish dishes and desserts are also on the menu. The staff is great, mostly German-speaking; reservations on weekends are recommended.

Great food, nice staff Absolutely top

This week I ate twice at this great restaurant. A very varied menu, but also the dishes outside the menu are great. That supplemented with very nice special beers plus the wonderful blues music in the background makes eating here a party. And the way the service staff treats each other should not go unmentioned. Their respect and affection for each other radiates on the quality of service. Kudos, kudos, kudos, we will definitely come back.

Highly recommended. I had the spare ribs with fries. I was able to reorder the fries for free, and I ordered the ribs spicy. CAUTION: spicy is really spicy 😋 The service is fast, friendly, and very attentive. You have to go here!

Super cool place. The service was barely able to utter more than a word, and the food wasn't bad. But the fries tasted like they were three hours old and had been fried with calamari. The burger was more of a meatball, but it went well with the satay burger. The fries were a real shame.

A small restaurant in the middle of the De Koog shopping arcade. Like all the other restaurants, it looks a bit rustic from the outside. The portions could be a little larger here. The service is super fast and the drinks came to the table quickly despite the crowds. There were no long waits for food. The waiters/waiters were very friendly.

Cozy tent, beautiful Wurlitzer, and a few mopeds that are in the shop, although quite old. It was nice to drink a few beers in the sun, although we both had the feeling that the beer was not cold enough every day, but then you also drink less of course

We first had something to drink there the day before, in the afternoon on the terrace. We saw that the food that was served looked tasty. So we decided to go back the next evening to ask if there was a table for two available. We had not made a reservation because the plans were made a little later due to circumstances. We walked in, I asked the question and there was a gruff response that left me with a very bad feeling. We could have expected a no, but a no like that had nothing to do with hospitality. We stayed here for a few more days, we could have made a reservation for the next day or the day after that. Instead, we turned immediately after the gruff “NO!” and I was almost tempted to apologize for asking for a table in the first place. It's a shame, if you always do it this way you will have few customers.

A really nice tent. Insanely stylishly decorated and super friendly staff. The atmosphere is nice and friendly and the food is of top quality. The Holsteiner schnitzel was well filled and of good size. The steak and salmon are also recommended. Definitely worth going for a meal. Make a reservation because it is very busy.....

As usual, the food is always fantastic! Price-quality ratio is top and never disappoints. One tip: book in time because it is always busy, especially on weekends. And rightly so, because the food is always good. Recommended! 🙌

We had a good meal here last year. This year we had reservations. The table we were assigned was directly under a loudspeaker loudspeaker. The next table should be next to the door to the toilet. There are plenty of other tables available. “They would be reserved.” By the way, we also had a reservation. The boss's reaction and the way we were offered something else was impossible and seemed very arrogant. We then left and were waved after us maliciously. Luckily there are alternatives with friendly staff in De Koog. Addendum: It is helpful if you are accompanied to the alternative table. Just pointing from afar isn't very helpful when 6 tables are still free.

Entering was a bit of a joke, but the door handle fell off. But thanks to the glass-enclosed terrace, we sat in the sun, and today's strong wind didn't bother us at all. I could have stayed there for a long time, warmed by the sun, with a delicious Texels beer.

What a great formula! Yesterday we ate beef tongue in Madeira sauce, accompanied by great blues songs and several real special beers. I'm sure that many in the hospitality industry don't even dare to start! Keep it up! An example of the better catering company.

The food was really delicious. Spareribs fell off the bone. Really great. The people in the kitchen really know what they are doing! Furthermore, you can sit comfortably, lots of beer, in short, enjoy.
