Este restaurante fue muy bien revisado en YT, y como me tocó organizar una cena para nuestro grupo de bomberos retirados, decidí ir a este pequeño restaurante. Las pastas y pizzas estaban deliciosas y se puede ver cómo se prepara su comida en la cocina abierta. Los precios son muy moderados y el personal es servicial, pero solo hablan inglés (no hay problema en Rotterdam). Sentarse cerca de la puerta puede ser un poco molesto porque algunas personas no tienen la curtosía de cerrar la puerta a sus espaldas.

Amazing place, cozy and familiar with a really welcoming staff! I had the chance to try both pizza and pasta and I loved the ravioli with tartufo and the pizza Marinara! These are my fav ❤️ They also make this bread out of the pizza dough served with olive oil, delicious! Highly recommended!

Delicious food! Real authentic Italian style. You imagine yourself in Italy for a moment. Upon entering you are drawn into the atmosphere by the smell of freshly baked bread and dough.

I enjoyed the pasta and tiramisu and positioned it in my stomach.

Favorite spot op Katendrecht!! The quality of the food is amazing! Throughout the years I’ve come here countless times. Always bringing friends and family to the best Italian! The food and drinks prepared with care and super delicious! The owners are really nice and even after we moved out of Rotterdam we’ll certainly come back!

In una zona tranquilla di Rotterdam, si trova questo locale italiano che propone primi piatti (pasta fresca) e dolci italiani che rispettano la tradizione. Pizza e pasta top, abbiamo preso diverse pizze, spaghetti alla carbonara e tagliatelle alla bolognese, ottimi, così come i dolci (cannoli, tiramisù e salame al cioccolato). Eccellente anche il servizio. Locale da provare.

We saw a photo of the cannolo online. We had already eaten elsewhere, but were still up for dessert. Fortunately that was possible and it was incredibly tasty!

Sadly there wasn't any space for us when we tried to go here without reservation. Perfectly understandable, but we were treated quite rudely. No option to sit on the table outside either. Food might be good, we wouldn't know, but be advised to make a reservation. Edit: I'd like to add in response to the owner's response, that the rudeness had nothing to do with us not being allowed to sit outside. Instead it's due to being treated like we were a nuisance and given a dirty look for simply asking if there was space for us to sit. And being told "No." without any further niceties or explanation. If such reviews affect your restaurant, treat potential customers better. I've seen similar reviews.

Pizza e pasta buonissima. Great family owned restaurant. Freshly made food, which reminds us of our holidays in Italy. Always enjoy coming back!

A waste of our 60 euros spent. The ravioli was bald, tasteless and undercooked. When we went back it was not resolved. That's what they said. OK. Shame. Finished at home to your liking. The pizzas were authentic and tasty, but very small for 16 euros. Atmosphere: when I walked in cheerfully in the afternoon to have a look, I didn't feel welcome. Staff is not friendly or anything. You won't see me here again Update: from the response you can tell that the owner does not have a customer-oriented attitude, I would have given 2.3 stars but she calls it revenge, apparently she cannot tolerate other opinions. Everyone must agree?? You can also say. John, ma'am. What a shame that it was not to your liking. Hopefully the rest of your evening was nice. Your perception of our communication regarding collection/delivery is also a strange story. So that's why stars have now been adjusted to 1. That's not called revenge. But well deserved REVIEW about your food and attitude. Have a nice evening ⚘️

La pizza más pequeña de la historia, bastante decepcionante para obtener una pizza de tamaño infantil como una pizza regular 😕 también era muy líquida en el medio, lo que hizo que la ya pequeña cantidad de queso se deslizara de inmediato. I recently tried to go to the restaurant without a reservation and was very disappointed with the entire experience. Although the restaurant looks very authentic and the food sounds fantastic, the service was a total letdown. When we arrived we were quickly turned away without a reservation. The only response to our request for a table was a curt "No, no space." When asked if there was an option to sit outside, the only response was "No, not possible." I felt absolutely unappreciated as a customer. It seemed like the staff had no interest in offering us an alternative solution or accommodating us in any way. An Italian restaurant should not only offer good food, but also positive and authentic service that is welcoming and friendly. The Verdict: The food may be excellent, but the customer focus is disastrous. If you value good service, you should avoid this restaurant.

Tastiest pizza so far in Rotterdam

We are regular customers and love the pizza, but unfortunately today we ordered via the delivery app and after waiting 40 minutes for delivery they canceled the order. I think this is a lack of respect for the customer, if you can't deliver, you could let us know as soon as we placed the order.

Ordered pizzas by telephone, as there would be no more room in the restaurant, especially when we indicated that three children would be coming with us. The pizzas would be ready at 6 p.m. The lady reported that it would take a little longer. No problem of course. Only when the person who was with me commented about the waiting time, the other lady, probably the waiter, went completely crazy. We should have more respect for the hardworking people in this restaurant. This in combination with the only reasonable quality of the delivered end product means, in my opinion, a one-star review and the statement that I have been here twice: the first and the last time.

The best pizza and non-our service in Rotterdam

I hope this doesn't come off as snobby, but here goes. 3 stars. We are real pizza lovers. Have read books about it, watched shows about it, etc. Based on the pictures and reviews of the place, we came in with high expectations. This looked like a place that makes great pizzas in an authentic neapolitan way. But. 1. There is very little place in the store. I was seated right next to the front door. But good pizza can make up for that. 2. We waited about 40 minutes for our pizza. 3. The pizzas are made in an electric oven instead of wood oven. This makes it less authentic, and doesn't crisp up the pizza as nicely, which made the crust a bit chewy. 4. The dough is said to be fermented for 50 hours, but it didn't have that nice sour "fermenty" taste. 5. The topping to crust ratio was very low. Almost half of the pizza was crust. This would have been ok if the crust itself tasted good, but see point 4. 6. The margerita pizza had too much cheese on it. On an american pizza, extra cheese is great, but on a neapolitan pizza with italian mozzarella, which melts differently, the result is that the pizza get too wet, and you end up with big chunks of chewing gum-like pieces of cheese in your mouth. So overall a medium experience. I definitely had worse pizzas in my life. Still, it was dissappointing. Thank you for listening to my ted talk. Edit: Changed it to 4 stars out of appreciation of the detailed explanation and expertise of the owner. Tastes differ, I agree.

A very nice Neapolitan-style pizza overall, except that it is quite dry. Needs more tomato sauce, and a higher hydration in the dough.

Uitstekend Italiaans pizza eten in een klein, zeer simpel restaurant. Als je dat leuk vindt is het een regelrechte en zeer betaalbare aanrader. Vanaf de Hoerenloper rechtdoor het Deliplein op en je bent er.

Heerlijke pasta, pizza en voorgerecht. Verse gerechten gemaakt door een Italiaanse familie die het restaurant uitbaat. Kleine maar gezellige keet op een fijne locatie.

My fav pizza restaurant in Rotterdam! It can get quite busy during the weekends so call early for takeaway or reserve in advance. The staff is really nice and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. They have a great selection of wines too. Summer evenings are for eating their pizzas by the Maas!

Unfortunately it was closed when I arrived. Closed until Sept 15th 2023, due to a vacation. After cycling all the way there. And I return to London tomorrow 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Super lekkere echte Italiaanse pizza :) wij hadden de Alpina pizza (met Bresola en Taleggio) en de pizza met gerookte zalm en mascarpone. Open keuken dus je ziet hoe de pizza voor je klaar gemaakt wordt en de oven in gaat. De tiramiso is ook erg lekker

By far the best Italian food you can find in Rotterdam. Pizza's are leagues above everything else you can get, wine is delicious and the pasta's are absolutely amazing. Very welcoming and kind people. A treasure for the city.

Best Pizza i had did aim a picky Person! I feels like its authentic Italian kitchen! And very sweet Personal! It's quite a small place but you can also sit outside! I can only recommend it,also it's in a beautiful part of Rotterdam Deliplein has a nice ambiance!!

You don't have to take a flight to Italy to enjoy great authentic taste of home made pasta, pizza or tiramisu! You can get here local wine & delicious limonade. We are so lucky to find this gem in the downtown of Rotterdam & we like to share with you. Life is about treasure moments of being with loved ones and have TASTE for life! Ciao ciao

Super leckere Pizza. Leider ist der Laden sehr klein, weshalb man unbedingt vorher reservieren sollte. Wir wollten 2 Stunden vorher reservieren, was eindeutig nicht ausreichend war. Deshalb haben wir die Pizzen einfach zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Würde das Restaurant und die Pizza suf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen :-)

Klein restaurant met echt Italiaans personeel, prettige bediening maar wel een beperkt aantal tafels. Vooraf reserveren is echt nodig.

Goede pizza's, mooie bodems met goed beleg. Klein restaurantje met volledig open keuken wat erg leuk is. Bediening is vriendelijk maar niet heel attent. We hebben 1 keer drankjes gehad en toen die op waren werden ze wel opgeruimd maar kregen geen nieuwe aangeboden. Jammer voor ons maar ook voor hun eigen verkoop. Verder is het wel een aanrader om te gaan eten!

I have eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants in Rotterdam and this place knocks the socks off of all the others. Make a reservation because there are only a few tables, but I promise you it will be worth it! Handmade pasta, crisp pizzas and everything is exceptionally tasty. Don't miss out on this delight if you are in Rotterdam. Take the metro to the Rijnhaven stop and meander your way down Katendrecht to enjoy this meal.

Delicious authentic italian pizza's & very friendly staff!

We had a take-out order which was ready for pick-up exactly at the time they told us when ordering. The food was amazing, the pizzas were hot and super tasty (and authentically Italian) and the ravioli were perfectly cooked. Also the service was very friendly! 10/10, would recommend!

Echte authentiek Italiaanse gerechten met goede kwaliteit ingrediënten, dat proef je zeker! Deze pizza’s is de beste die ik ooit op heb en ze lijken oprecht alsof ze uit Napels komen. Ook hele lekkere cannoli trouwens!

Best ravioli funghi i ever had, the carbonara was absolutely insane and we both had to pick our jaws up from the floor after the first bite, truly amazing tiramisu was good as well we got extremely good service as well, italians who run this place and like to chat overall would recommend to anyone, prices also extremely low for the quality of the food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovelyyyy pizza, Deliplein pizza is a killer 🔥

Tiny pizza and pasta place...but really good. Dough is proper Neapolitan style...very thin with a puffy slightly blackened crust - delicious. They use fior de latte cheese on some pizzas which is quite "juicy" but absolutely delicious and luxurious. Also the vegetarian toppings were the best I've ever had. Excellent al dente pasta - not a large range and simply served - the focus is on quality here!
