Coziest and friendliest Café in Utrecht hands down!

It’s a vintage store upstairs and they make coffee downstairs. There are a couple of chairs out front for people watching. Punk diy vibe.

Just to be clear: this is not a place with speciality coffee, but rather a special place with coffee ;)

No laptops! Come here to relax - but not if you need a place to do any work - wish it were more clear before I ordered . There was a sign down low hiding behind a breadbox 🙄

Horrible. We went inside, and it was dusty and completely uninviting. We couldn't study in peace because it felt like chaos. Like a staff meeting was taking place. We weren't served. After 20 minutes, we decided to leave, and then the manager demanded payment, telling us we'd already been sitting there for two hours!! Unbelievable. There was no Wi-Fi either, and no study café at all. Not even a café. It looked more like a living room crammed with stuff.

A truly beautiful place, you will have the opportunity to meet many good artists...and then I love the coffee there😊❤️

Bought a very nice vintage cardigan, will definitely come back for a drink because the atmosphere inside is really great! :)

Very unfriendly staff. The female bartender made fun of me when I was asking where the toilet is. The latte was fine but because of this incident I don’t recommend at all.

Well, it looks like a bohem place. The coffee was very bad, the bartender was very unfriendly whereas he was very unhygienic while he was preparing the coffee. I will not recommend this place.

I've been coming here for a long time and it has actually become a bit of an extension of my living room. At least, I don't have a living room. Dirk (owner) makes it feel like coming home and always pleasant.

Just struck more than a year ago during a walk through Utrecht. Enjoyed the coffee and the nice conversation with the owner and was fortunate to experience yesterday that “Cafka” is still there. Enjoyed top coffee and beautiful stories again. An asset to the city!

Tried several coffee shops in Utrecht, but this is by far the best/tastiest coffee to take away. Friendly owner.

We ended up at Cafca during a day in Utrecht. Nice atmosphere outside and nice and messy inside. Coffee was also good but temperature of the milk was too hot for my personal preference. I also often look at the workspace. This one wasn't very clean. But otherwise a great tent.

Terrible people, the owner makes fun of you when you ask if you can go to the toilet.

Visit to enjoy the eclectic decor. Fun things to see. Pleasant conversations.

Delicious kombucha and iced latte. Friendly and spontaneous man! Enjoyed great chess and live music.

Thursday morning 10:15 beautiful day I think I'll get a nice coffee I've heard a lot of good things about it so I order a coffee and while the promotion is still running I get 10ml of coffee for 2 euros and when I talk to the owner about it he simply says well then I'll do the other one euros in the tip jar, so now I paid 2 euros for 10ml of sour coffee, of which the sourness lingers longest, thanks to café and the supermarket coffee is even better unfortunately

Quirky little cafe with fantastic coffee and the best kombucha that I've ever tried.

The barista was very distracted socializing and dancing with the music. Not professional. I asked for a cappuccino with oat milk but he forgot and made it with regular milk (the way he poured the milk, yes the milk not the foam, was also amatuer. My friend ordered an americano and the barista poured into a cup an expresso shot with some ice he used his hands to grab (without water). Not sure why lots of people gave very good reviews for this coffee shop.

For me a place that felt like coming home. Brilliant out of the box concept, good coffee, music and a perfect host and team. A place where time is not important and where high tech changes into old school. Can recommend this place to everyone, happy or sad. Next to OnZ and Papi Churro in my top three of places to be.

Walk in here for a daily changing adventure. Art & coffee are always available. Who knows, you might find some live music or type out your thoughts on one of the typewriters. Despite the name, the café is anything but Kafkaesque.

You should stop here for a cup of (good) espresso; something else is of course also possible. You travel straight through the interior from Venice, to Berlin, to Studio 54 and beyond. This business exudes culture; It is not without reason that it is named with a wink after Franz Kafka. Recommended!
