We ordered an amaretto sour; 30 minutes later, still nothing, so we asked about it again. Another 15 minutes later, we were told that “everything from the cocktails is already by the sink.” In short: a 45-minute wait for a drink that never came.

The service is terrible. We sat here for 3 hours and had to ask to order ourselves. In the end, they came to our table a total of twice.

Just had lunch, ate Puri piri, top-notch, excellent; my partner certainly enjoyed the veggie frittata very much too. So, two recommendations. Worth repeating.

There is nothing to complain about regarding the food and the atmosphere. But the toilets. They were so dirty. The toilet paper had run out in several toilets. The tiles were broken and the toilets had cracks in them. The doors were also due for replacement. What a shame!

Went with two close friends for a good conversation, a mix of laughter and tears. First, we enjoyed ourselves outside on the (heated) terrace, then went inside, sat in the armchairs on the stage, and afterwards had a delicious meal. I thought the two oldies from the Muppet Show were funny (who remembers them?). Those were beautiful memories from back then, and beautiful memories were made here at De Bolle as well.

Had a delicious lunch via Social Deal; nice portions with tasty food, and our preferences were taken into account well (we shared 2 dishes on our own plates). Very nice. The drinks were also great.

Delicious food, beautiful, large terrace, friendly service. 1 small downside: I had asked for my main course without the hazelnut oil (allergy), but my dish arrived with oil anyway. I received a new dish as soon as possible, and the waitress apologized twice; that is nice.

Great! A restaurant that actually acts on feedback! I can only offer my compliments here. Went back today with colleagues. The food was really good this time. Flavorful, beautifully presented, and of good quality! I am happy with Bolle and look forward to coming back here again! Thanks also to the staff who took good care of us tonight, and in particular Jeroen, who communicated with me wonderfully after my previous visit. Top notch!

Enjoyed a delicious meal in the sun

We went here on a Tuesday evening and sat inside for a drink. The service consisted mainly of students who weren't very friendly. We ordered mixed snacks and were given a drinks platter. When we explained we hadn't ordered one, the server heatedly argued with us about why we had. When we finally received the snacks we had ordered, we were urgently asked to sit elsewhere because the café was being converted into a party room. Once we were seated at the new table, we had to leave pretty quickly. When we went to pay, we realized that the café's conversion was more important than a customer eager to pay. All in all, a real student café.

The food used to be great, but now it's terrible. Even the service is terrible; they don't even know what's on their menu. A Bolleburger for 19.80 turns out to be just the basics. You have to buy bacon, onion, and sauce extra. The bun was rock hard, inedible, and the fries were lukewarm and hard. The tea glass was half full. We reported it, but we didn't get a refill. So we ordered another glass of tea. It's outrageous that you have to pay for this. Never, ever again at Bolle. People, go eat elsewhere. Because the staff doesn't even hear your complaint and doesn't do anything about it.

We recently visited Café Bolle in Tilburg, and unfortunately, the experience fell far below what one would expect from a place with such high prices and a central location. Service & Atmosphere 😕 Both inside the café and on the terrace, the atmosphere could improve significantly if the staff were more polite, attentive, and professionally trained. The manager at the indoor bar, in particular, behaved in a noticeably indifferent and dismissive way toward customers — especially when she perceived they were foreigners. This kind of attitude feels unwelcoming and unnecessary. We ordered beers directly at the bar, yet the manager repeatedly ignored us, continuing conversations with others as if we weren’t there or as if our money didn’t matter. Considering that a simple beer costs almost €6, the least one expects is basic courtesy and proper service. Quality of Service 🍺 Even worse, the beers were not served correctly, neither by the manager nor by most of the staff. Only one employee seemed to know what she was doing, but even then, she handed over the order with a very unpleasant attitude. Food Quality 🍗 To be fair, the spicy chicken wings were very good — well-prepared and tasty. You get 6 pieces for €12, which is quite expensive for the portion size. However, they were served without napkins or appropriate cutlery, and when we asked for these basic items, the staff acted surprised. After a long wait, they finally brought us wet wipes, but with clear reluctance. Overall Impression 🚫 Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Café Bolle to anyone — at least not until the staff receives proper training in customer service and basic hospitality. If someone does not enjoy working with customers, especially in a busy and well‑known establishment, they simply should not be in that role. People spend their time and money to enjoy themselves, not to feel ignored or disrespected. ⚠️ Disclaimer The purpose of this review is not to attack, but to inform those seeking pleasant leisure experiences in Tilburg, and to encourage the staff at Café Bolle to improve their behavior and professionalism. Fun pub quizzes every 1st of the month

Mijn dochter had de telefoon daar verloren. Bij navraag , hadden ze de telefoon gevonden , maar was helemaal stuk waardoor een medewerker deze had weggegooid. Dat is natuurlijk begrijpelijk. Na wat bellen , hebben ze de schade van de telefoon zonder te zeuren of piepen netjes aan onze dochter vergoed. Hier had ze zelf niet om gevraagd. Mensen , heel netjes. Zulke mensen komen we nog zelde tegen. Top tent.

Friendly, cheerful service! We had a great time and a delicious lunch.

Bijzonder groot terras! De bediening is snel en attent en ook in voor een persoonlijk praatje en een lolletje. De menukaart is tof van opzet met geinige namen voor het eten. De prijzen zijn heel prima. De kwaliteit van het eten is goed. Al met al echt een prima plek om voor een goede prijs te lunchen. Je moet wel tegen drukte kunnen, omdat het langs een druk kruispunt ligt en er ook rondom allemaal terrassen van andere cafés zitten.

Paid more than 20€ for the most mediocre burger ever. Even a 5€ Burger King is better than that. Felt scammed. Bad food and incredibly overpriced. Not even in the Amsterdam tourist traps they have the audacity. Broad selection of beers but in NL that applies to every place

Very nice restaurant. There was very friendly staff who also liked to think along with us with our little girl. Her drink with medicine was put in a nice glass just like with mom and dad and she was allowed to go with the waitress afterwards to choose nice colored straws. Thank you for their love and attention for our little girl, this makes our visit also a bit more fun and easier.

Unfortunately a bad experience. The tapas platter is expensive for what it is. 46 euros for about 10 snacks, of which a bowl of plain chips! Our group had ordered drinks, and out of 13 people they left 4 without drinks. We asked where it was and then they told us that they could not find what we had ordered, but they went looking. 10 minutes later we had to ask again if it had been found. Eventually they did find it, but we had to wait 30 minutes for those 4 drinks and they did not come to us on their own initiative; we had to ask every 10 minutes where it was.

As a student 30 years ago I dragged 95% of my student grant here, and now a company outing. The atmosphere is still as friendly!

The service was very unpleasant. When we asked the waitress to place our order, she told us to leave the restaurant because we wanted to. Talk to your boss.

Played dice last night. Firstly, we had to wait a very long time until it was our turn (logical with the crowds). Finally it was our turn and an even number was rolled, so free drinks! Ordered 7 beers and 7 shots. The bartender (blond boy around 20) gave 7 beers and the shots didn't come. Told him again that we still need 7 shots. He suddenly hadn't heard this. We stood at the bar for a long time trying to get the shots we ordered, but the gentleman pretended not to see us and ignored us. Nice concept like that…

Tosti was koud, vervolgens terug gestuurd naar de keuken, daarna 30 minuten gewacht om vervolgens weer een koude tosti te krijgen. Ook stonden ze maar met z’n 2e op een drukke dag tijdens de intro week

I visited this bar yesterday with three friends, expecting a fun night out, but unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. While the atmosphere was decent, the service left much to be desired. We ordered seven drinks, which should have totaled 39.20€. However, upon reviewing my receipt at home, I noticed we had been charged 58.70€, a clear overcharge of 19.50€ for drinks we never ordered or received. I immediately contacted the bar via email to request a refund for the discrepancy, but my request was ignored. This lack of response and accountability is incredibly frustrating. Mistakes happen, but it's how they are handled that makes the difference, and this bar failed to address the issue. I can't recommend this place based on my experience—double-check your bill if you do decide to visit. Update on 20/08/2024 After 36 hours, the bar reached out to me, acknowledging the mistake and apologizing for the inconvenience. Although it took a week to receive the refund, I appreciate that they took responsibility and made things right.

After a drink we also had a snack on the terrace. No high-end dishes: simple but tasty. Portions are good. Italian coffee that had been forgotten to put Amaretto in was very neatly replaced by a new one. Tables need to be cleaner.

They add 5 euros to your bill here. Mistake? No. They call your order, which is exactly right. How that 5 euros comes on top, I have no idea. Maybe intentionally, because yes it works, so don't just print a receipt.

Blijkt dat je hier tijdens de kermis gewoon binnen fatsoenlijk bier kunt krijgen uit een glas!!

We waren op de Tilburgse Kermis en hebben wat gedronken en gegeten bij de Bolle. Het was een gezellige boel en vriendelijk personeel maar ik vind het schandalig om voor een broodje hamburger 18 euro te vragen je krijgt voor dat geld een hamburger en een beetje aardappel salade in een bakje Ik vind het zeer slecht concept.

Gezellige plek om een drankje te drinken. Maar volgende keer geen eten meer bestellen .De bestelde hamburger was nog rood van binnen, en de bacon was zwart en aangebrand. We moesten er toch 19 euro voor betalen, maar kregen de 4 drankjes gratis (ongeveer 10 euro). Reden; de kok vond het eetbaar, en we hadden zelf moeten aangeven dat de hamburger goed doorbakken moest zijn. Vriendelijke bediening, maar helaas niet de juiste beslissing genomen. M.a.w. geen goed gevoel aan overgehouden.

Leuke zomer bingo gehad hier. Dus setting was wat anders dan het normaal zou zijn geweest. Personeel deed goed hun werk en prima avond gehad.

Eetcafé, leuke bediening, vast een goede plek om te borrelen, maar voor eten moet je hier mijn inziens niet zijn. En wellicht ben ik te oud en te zuur om bij zo een eetcafé te eten. Kipsaté was gewoon niet lekker.

Took a few beers there to see a band performe. Nice ambiance and a bit crowdy but ok. Bar staff was more than a bit cranky. But that was realy the only thing that was nok.

The idea of hosting themed nights/quizzes is truly great! We went to the FRIENDS themed quiz and we had so much fun. Also, the fact that there is an english translation provided is very much appreciated.

They don't accept Visa, nor large banknotes even though the bill is around €200... before you decide to spend more money, ask yourself if they really want to earn it...

Tosti en kroket waren koud, services kon beter.

Service was slow and personally I like a physical card and not having to download a menu.

Met 3 personen gaan lunchen, met alledrie de gerechten was iets mis... slechte smoesjes daarna met weliswaar excuses, maar er wordt niks aan gedaan! Wij zijn heel netjes gebleven dus daar kan het niet aan liggen. Het is nalatigheid van de keuken en leiding. Ik had medelijden met de serveerster die hier niks aan kon doen.

Het is jammer dat op een rustige dag waar het terras echt niet vol zit je erg lang moet wachten op je bestelling. Het gekke is dat de bestelde tostis er sneller waren (en ook bijna op) toen het drinken kwam. En nee het waren geen uitgebreide cocktails maar twee flesjes en twee glazen. Trouwens zijn de tostis ook niet meer wat ze waren. De saus is dezelfde dus waarvoor ik er kom. Maar de tostis zijn inmiddels karige gedowngrade sneetjes supermarktbrood met een plakje ham en kaas.

Heel vriendelijk en enthousiast personeel. Heerlijk geluncht(blubsandwich, carpacciosandwich). En een goede bak koffie en verse thee. Goed geadviseerd in de keuze van wijn. Ik kan niet anders zeggen dan een AANRADER!

Het eten is lekker, de bediening stelt uitermate teleur. Je wordt niet gezien en moet enorm lang wachten op personeel. Echter zijn ze er wel, maar vinden ze in deze tijd het belangrijker om met de hand op de schouder van een gast te kletsen. Na enorm veel zwaaipogingen kregen we iemand te pakken om eten te bestellen dit heeft 30 minuten geduurd. Tijdens het eten was ons drinken op en duurde het weer lang om drinken te bestellen. Het eten was inmiddels al op.... Ik zou niet zomaar teruggaan
