One of my favourite places in Nijmegen. De Deut is a place where you can get the best burger (in my opinion). They have a big selection of (special) beers and know exactly what to recommend.

Good drinks menu, friendly service and stylish decor (except perhaps for the striking amount of paintings of crying children😂). Toilets were clean, soap and towels were replenished.

Cozy pub. It resembles a traditional Dutch pub. Friendly service. Lots of different beers. You can also have lunch and a limited dinner menu. Highly recommended.

It's been a long time since I was there so sorry I can't say more than just a lovely cozy café with great employees.

Nicest specialty beer café in the city center. Nice staff, nice beer selection, good atmosphere. However, cleaning could be better in the morning, it often smells like stale beer. The somewhat over-ostentatious cleaning of the bar before closing time also does not seem very hospitable.

Nicest café in Nijmegen! Good menu (changes regularly), service is always pleasant and has good tips if you don't know what you want. The appetizers and loaded fries are really fantastic 😍 oh yes and they have Nibbits!!!

Sunday July 14, 2024, drank several rounds and ordered snacks on the terrace. (pay in advance!!!!!) When we did not order something quickly enough after about 1.5 hours, a young waiter very rudely told us to leave the terrace. In other words: if we can't make enough money from you, you should get the hell out of here. We were dumbfounded. Never experienced anything like this.

Excellent espresso on a cozy heated terrace. The café itself is narrow, retro classic and one of the most atmospheric in the city. I haven't tried the food yet, but given the choice on the menu it will probably be fine.

Fijn assortiment aan speciaalbiertjes, niet zo overweldigend veel dat je niet weet wat je moet kiezen, maar wel ruim en niet de standaard speciaalbiertjes. Vriendelijk personeel maakt het helemaal af!

Al eens eerder geweest en gisteren voor een vrijgezellenfeest,hier een bierproeverij door De Deut laten verzorgen, 5 rondes mooie bieren, goeie hapjesplaten en stukje uitleg over het bier wat geschonken werd. Het personeel was heel flexibel ondanks dat we met ruim 20 mensen waren. Als er nog eens iets in Nijmegen georganiseerd moet worden zal De Deut er zeker onderdeel van zijn.

Tolle Auswahl an Bieren, kompetenter und freundlicher Service. Das Interieur hat ein wenig Jugendstilcharakter. Die Preise sind angemessen. Wer stilvoll mal ein paar "andere" Biere probieren möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
